I hope everyone enjoys this chapter. There is a lot coming soon. :)

Thranduil walked home slowly, passing the inn that he had told his Adar he was meeting someone. He made sure to go inside and talk to a few elves, but never mentioned his Adar's agenda to anyone. He knew that no matter what he did, no matter how few elves he talked to, his Adar would have many followers. When he left, he hid the letter inside his robes, knowing his Adar would ask about it. It was better to hide every single letter Elrond wrote to him than his Adar find a single one. The walk home gave him plenty of time to think about what had happened. He thought about what had happened between them and wondered if he really should have stopped it or if he should have continued. He also wondered how long his father had been downstairs and if he had heard anything. He wondered how his father knew that he was there with Elrond. He had so many questions and not a single answer to any of them. He did know that if he was able to get away and see Elrond again, he would without question. Sighing softly, he entered the inn he was staying at to see his father with a few other elves. They seemed to be deep in conversation and when he approached, Oropher smiled.

"This is my son, Thranduil. Thranduil, I was just telling these elves about our plans to move. How did your meeting go?" Oropher asked.

"I think one may join us, the other did not seem too convinced," he explained.

"One is better than none," Oropher admitted. "And of the halver? How did he take it?"

"He still had a lot of questions when I had to leave. I told him that I would do my best to get back over to answer his questions," Thranduil said hoping his Adar would allow it.

"You may go talk to him first thing in the morning. Answer every question he has, no matter how long it takes. We need his alliance for the trades. Gil-Galad has some of the best trade materials available and the halver may be the only way to them."

"I will do everything in my power to secure his alliance," Thranduil smiled. "I am going to retire for the night. You gentlemen have a great night and I will see you in the morning, Adar."

Oropher nodded as the gentlemen wished Thranduil well and he went off to his room. As soon as he was inside the room and away from eyes, he turned the lock and sank down onto the bed. He started to unbutton his robe slowly as he watched the letter fall to the floor. He wanted to get changed into his night robe before he read the letter because he was sure that he would want to sit and write one back. He took his time and care of the robes his Adar got for him as he placed them on the chair, making sure there was not a single fold or crease that would wrinkle by morning. He did the same thing with his pants as well as his under robe. Moving across the room, he grabbed his night robe and slid it over his head before picking up the letter and opening it. Inside was a second letter and this one he sat aside on the bed. Sitting down, he gazed upon the elegant writing of his love.

Thranduil,

By the time this reaches you I fear that a few years will have passed, but that does not alter the way that I feel about you, unless it makes me love you more. I do not want to scare you off and that is why I put this in two letters. This one being the lighter of the two, but if you want to know the depths of my feelings as well as the things I would love to do to you, feel free to read the second letter. You can also save the other letter for another day if you feel like you would handle it better at a later time.

Things in Lindon have been calm as winter rages on. I do worry about you knowing that you are out and exposed to the weather. If you were here, I would love to wrap you in my arms and keep you warm by the fire. I can not wait till I can wrap my arms around you in front of the fire one day. When that day comes, I fear that that is all that I would want to do all day.

What I do fear is how things are going to work out between us in the long run. Gil-Galad expects me to be the next High King of the Noldor and your Adar is being named King of where ever you end up, you will be next in line for King as well. How are two kings going to end up together especially with so much space between us. I know we are expected to marry elleths who will bear us children, but I do not think I will be able to. I may end up like Gil-Galad with no wife and children in the eyes of the people, with you in my heart. I would even give up the title if I could, especially if it means being with you. I personally do not want the title, but feel as if I have no choice in the matter. If you have any ideas on this matter or ways to get out of taking this title, please let me know.

Gi melen. I can never say that enough and I hope you never tire of hearing those words. Till next time,

Elrond

Thranduil smiled and reread the letter savoring every word Elrond had written to him. The thoughts of being wrapped in Elrond's arms in from of the fire warmed him like never before. He could only imagine doing that with his lover when the weather grew cold, not having to worry about his father or anyone bothering them. At the same time, he knew Elrond was right. How would two kings have a relationship especially with their kingdoms far away? What would the people say to them having a relationship? Would his father force him to marry an elleth before they could truly be together and if so, how would that affect their relationship? He knew he would be expected to marry and produce an heir to the throne, but that was something he could not imagine doing. Sighing softly he knew they needed to come up with a game plan on dealing with this before they continued their relationship. They needed to at least discuss what to do if Oropher or Gil-Galad forced them to marry an elleth. Thranduil knew deep down that it was not Gil-Galad that they feared, but Oropher. How could Gil-Galad have an issue if he was not with someone himself?

Relaxing, he picked up the other letter from Elrond. The words Elrond wrote in the previous letter rang in his head as he flipped the letter over and looked at the seal. 'If you want to know the depths of my feelings as well as the things I would love to do to you, feel free to read the second letter.' The depths of his feelings and what he would do to him. Thranduil already had an idea of the things Elrond would do to him. Today was a perfect example of those things. Thranduil had just felt uncomfortable with those things happening today and decided to stop it. It was not the fact that he did not want Elrond, but more of the fact he wanted to wait. The second letter turned over in his hands again as he decided if he wanted to open it or not. Part of him kept thinking yes, but another part kept going wait. Putting it in his bag with the other letters, he decided to wait. Wait until he really needed that letter. Maybe it would be a day when his Adar was in one of his moods again or a day when he knew there was no way to not marry. Grinning he read the first letter for a third time as he leaned back in his bed. His free hand ran down his chest and to his member where he paused before deciding what he wanted.

Pushing his hand under his night robe, he gently touched his stiffening member. The touch made him shiver as he thought of Elrond touching him earlier and how it felt. Running his fingers back over his member, he felt himself stir, wanting more. Not thinking twice, he grabbed the small bottle of oil he had, poured a little in the palm of his hand, before grabbing his member and sliding down it. Thranduil had to bite his lip in order to prevent moaning out loudly, knowing his Adar would come if he was heard. Each pump got his heart rate a little faster as his eyes closed and his mind drifted to Elrond. He imagined Elrond doing this to him, his hand sliding up and down his member slowly. The feel of the half elven against him, touching him, wanting him. What Thranduil did not realize was that his other hand dropped the letter and went to touching his chest. He wondered if Elrond would take his time and do things slow or would he slide up and down his member faster. His mind told him most likely he would take it slower at first before picking up the pace.

He kept the pace slower as he moved a little faster than before, loving every moment of his hand against his throbbing member. With each pump, he felt more and more precum seeping out and down onto his hand. Soft groans left Thranduil's lips as his thumb moved to glide over the head of his member. Thoughts of Elrond's hand on his member, his thumb gliding over the head, the warm feeling of being close to him, driving Thranduil crazy. Thranduil had to bite his top lip to stay quiet as he started to pump a bit quicker. His hand moved from his chest to push his hair away from his face, breathing hard knowing he was not going to last much longer. He pulled his hair gently, not getting the same pleasure out of it as when Elrond pulls his hair. Pumping his member faster, he pushed into his hand without realizing it before biting his lip as he came hard. By biting his lip, he prevented himself from crying out Elrond's name, wishing it was him that had finished him and not his own hand.

Panting hard, Thranduil released his member feeling the mess he had made of himself before looking down. He was thankful nothing had gotten on his night robe because that would not have been something he would want to explain to his Adar, especially since he had not shown interest in any of the elleths his Adar had introduced him to this far. The last thing he needed was his Adar questioning why he was touching himself in this manner and whom we was thinking of that made him want to touch himself. He knew his Adar would question in and that he would have to come up with a lie or tell him the truth. Either way, it would not be good for him. Holding his night robe up with his clean hand, Thranduil made his way to the bathroom where he grabbed a wash towel and ran it under the water. Taking the soap in his dirty hand, he started to wash off his member before taking the wash towel and wiping the soap off. He then washed his hands well and dried up before going back into the room and picking up the letter he had dropped on the bed. He placed this one with the others in his bag as a light knock came on the door.

"Yes?" He called out, knowing deep down it would be his Adar.

"Are you alright in there?" Oropher asked as Thranduil went and opened the door to come face to face with his Adar.

"I am. I just needed some time alone to think of ways I could secure an alliance with Elrond," he answered. "I have a few ideas, but I will need time to see if any of them will be successful with him."

"Let me know if you need any help," Oropher responded. "Rest well and I will see you sometime tomorrow afternoon."

"Thank you Adar," he responded as he watched Oropher walk to his room and disappear for the night.

Closing the door, he knew he did not need any help securing a trade route with Elrond. Elrond would come and trade no matter what, especially if that meant they got to see each other.

Gi melen - I love you.
