The break of dawn approached, and the sun started to rise. Alerting all of the animals of the Pride Lands, they knew the time had come and they all started leaving their homes and headed off towards Pride Rock. Iris dropped her head down from the canopy of her tree and smiled. Today is the day to welcome the prince of the Pride Lands. She slithered down to follow the animals towards Pride Rock.

Ingonyama nengw' enamabala.

Giraffes, zebras, cape buffalos, elephants, hippos, rhinos, cheetahs, wildebeests, monkeys, antelopes, flamingos, cranes, and many other types of birds flew and traveled through mountains, the sky, the waterfall, the water hole, and hills to come to Pride Rock to see their future king and a supposed future human leader among them. They heard whispers from the birds around the Pride Lands that there is a human living among them in Pride Rock. They weren't sure if it's true, but they will find out when they reached Pride Rock.

From the day we arrive on the planet.
And blinking, step into the sun.
There's more to see than can ever be seen,
More to do than can ever be done.
There's far too much to take in here.
More to find than can ever be found.
But the sun rolling high,

Through the sapphire sky,
Keeps great and small on the endless round.

As all of the animals gathered towards Pride Rock, Zazu came flying towards Mufasa as the mighty lion stood on the edge of the gigantic rock. The hornbill landed at the king's feet and gave a bow, with Mufasa giving him a nod and smile in return. Mufasa soon turned their attention towards a familiar old mandrill as the buffalos below the rock cleared a path for him and bowed to him in respect.

It's the Circle of Life!
And it moves us all.
Through despair and hope.
Through faith and love.

The old mandrill nodded to them and walked past them, using the bakora of his as a walking cane. He then climbed up Pride Rock, and once he reached the top, he and the lion king happily embraced each other. Mufasa then turned his attention towards Sarabi and Ajani and walked into the lion's den to join them.

Till we find our place.
On the path unwinding.
In the Circle,
The Circle of Life!

The pride of lionesses watched as Mufasa lovingly nuzzled Sarabi. The lion queen then gave a loving lick to the newborn Simba, with the tiny cub looking up as his parents looked down at him with warm smiles and Ajani sat next to Sarabi with a smile. He was nervous about this day. The boy noticed the old mandrill come into the lion's den and he gasped in surprise.

"It's you!" The old mandrill happily smiled at him and greeted in return.

"Greetings, my boy."

"Ajani, this is Rafiki. He is the Shaman and Royal Mjuzi of the Pride Lands." Mufasa spoke.

"Oh. You have a Shaman? I didn't know he was... Never mind. I saw him last night and he led me to the waterhole." Ajani said, trying to be respectful.

"Your purpose of becoming leader of your tribe will come. But right now, you have Simba to look after and the Pride Lands to protect like the humans did before." Rafiki spoke. Ajani made a nod, promising him and the pride he will do whatever it takes to help Mufasa protect his home and his son. Rafiki began the blessing of the future king and the boy. He waved the bakora staff in front of Ajani as he bowed his head and waved it in front of Simba as the newborn cub tried to swat at it with a tiny claw. Next Rafiki cracked a fruit open in half and spread the juice across both Simba and Ajani's foreheads. Rafiki then scooped up some dirt and he sprinkled some onto Ajani and Simba's head, causing the boy to close his eyes and causing the newborn cub to sneeze. Mufasa and Sarabi both smiled down at their cub affectionately as Rafiki took Simba from his mother's paws. He looked at Ajani and gestured him to follow him out of the den.
Ajani took a deep breath and stood up and joined Rafiki, walking with him towards the edge of Pride Rock as the old mandrill carried little Simba. Once they came towards the edge, Ajani looked at Rafiki nervously, but the mandrill made a nod, telling him there is nothing to be worried about. Ajani stepped forward, causing all of the animals to look up at him with curiosity and surprise. But as soon as Rafiki stood alongside him, he lifted up the newborn cub and the boy held out his arms, showing them that he means no harm. Seeing the newborn cub and how Ajani meant no harm to them, all of the animals cheered. From the elephants, to the antelope, to the monkeys, the zebras, every single animal that stood before Pride Rock cheered for their future king and the boy.

It's the Circle of Life!
And it moves us all.
Through despair and hope.
Through faith and love.

The bright sunlight shined down on the three and Mufasa and Sarabi soon came to join them as the Pride Lands had just welcomed their future king and Ajani. Iris watched from one of the trees and made a smile as she watched Ajani bringing peace to the animals. She felt bad for trying to eat him. One of these days, she will apologize to him and hope they could be good friends.

Till we find our place.
On the path unwinding.
In the Circle,
The Circle of Life!

After the presentations have ended, Ajani started to put some paint on his face after Rafiki offered him some fruit with different colors inside. He adds the blue paint on his forehead and some white dots on his cheeks. He stopped what he was doing he hears a cry for help from Zazu's voice. He ran down below the Pride Rock to see Mufasa staring at the dark lion who got Zazu in his mouth.

"Scar. Drop him." He demanded. Zazu poked his beak out through Scar's mouth.

"Impeccable timing, your majesty." With that, Scar spit the bird out, leaving a disgusted Zazu covered in saliva.

"Why, if it isn't my big brother descending from high to mingle with the commoners." Scar said in a sarcastic tone as he turned his attention to Mufasa who glared at him. Ajani climbed down the rocks to join them. The boy is staring at Scar in silent. He noticed a scar on his left eye. No wonder he was named Scar. Unless it was a nickname because of it.

"Sarabi and I didn't see you at the presentation of Simba and Ajani." Mufasa said.

"That was today? Oh, I feel simply awful!" Scar said with mock and guilt. And he started scratching on the walls, leaving a loud screeching noise and causing both Zazu and Ajani to cringe. "It must've slipped my mind." He turned to the trio, but his green eyes are set on Ajani who stood next to Mufasa. The dark lion held back his snarl. He calmly approached Ajani with a fake smile. "So, this is the human that everyone is talking about? A little young, don't you think, Mufasa? He's just a cub." Scar said as he circled Ajani, studying him. The boy frowned a bit. "Humans don't belong in our world. They cannot be trusted!" Scar added. Mufasa moved in front of Ajani to protect him, glaring at his brother.

"Scar, Ajani is a member of our pride. And this kind of behavior does not excuse you from missing him and Simba's presentation."

"And as slippery as your mind is, as the king's brother, you should've been first in line!" Zazu added he flew in front of Scar's face. Scar snapped his teeth at him, causing the poor bird to hide behind Mufasa's leg, with the dark lion sneering.

"Oh, I was first in line. Until the little hairball was born!"

"That hairball is my son, and your future king." Mufasa said. Scar responded to his brother in a sarcastic way, feigning a curtsy.

"Oh, I shall practice my curtsy." He started to walk away from his brother. Ajani's eyes widened at Mufasa's anger towards the dark lion.

"Don't turn your back on me, Scar!"

"Oh no, Mufasa. Perhaps you shouldn't turn your back on me." Ajani was shocked by the comment Scar made. Outraged, Mufasa roared and charged towards Scar. Mufasa snarled at Scar threateningly as he bared his teeth at him.

"IS THAT A CHALLENGE?!" Scar rolled his eyes as he responded to the angered king.

"Temper, temper. I wouldn't dream of challenging you."

"Pity! Why not?" Zazu asked, joining Mufasa's side.

"Yeah, why not?" Ajani joined in as he stood by the king on one side. Scar sneered at the boy before turning his attention back to Mufasa.

"Well, as far as brains go, I got the lion's share. But when it comes to brute strength...I'm afraid I am at the shallow end of the gene pool." Scar turned to Ajani as he walked past him. "As for you, human, just stay out of my way, and we will get along just fine." And with that, Scar walked away from the small cave, leaving his brother, the hornbill, and the boy alone. Ajani sighed a bit.

"I can feel his hatred towards me." He said. Mufasa turned to him.

"He is difficult to handle. But don't worry, just stick by me if he is around to visit. As I said, he won't lay a claw on you. If he does, you know where to find me." He told him.

"Well, I can't be afraid of him." Ajani said. "If I have to ask...is he named Scar because...you know, his scar?"

"It's not his real name. He had it since he was a cub. And...I was the one who called him that as a nickname." Mufasa said as he remembered the times he and Scar had when they were cubs. "He was bit by a cobra. He could've died from the poison, but thankfully Rafiki was there to give him the cure." Ajani looked back to see Scar leaving Pride Rock, almost feeling sorry for him. Still he would stay away from him. Zazu sighed a bit.

"There's one in every family, sire. Two in mine actually, and they always manage to ruin special occasions." He said as he rests on Mufasa's shoulder.

"What am I going to do with him?" Mufasa asked with a sigh, shaking his head.

"He'd make a very handsome throw rug." Zazu said with a smirk, causing Ajani to laugh.

"Zazu!" Mufasa said with a smile.

"Good one." Ajani chuckled as Zazu flew off of Mufasa's shoulder.

"And just think! Whenever he gets dirty, you can take him out and beat him! And perhaps Ajani could wear him!" Zazu added. Both Mufasa and Ajani chuckled as they started walking back to Pride Rock.
