WWF SummerSlam was live at the Raleigh Entertainment and Sports Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina. The first match that aired was a six-man tag team match between the team of Right to Censor (The Goodfather, Steven Richards, and Bull Buchanan) and Too Cool (Rikishi, Scotty 2 Hotty, and Grandmaster Sexay). Too Cool gained the early advantage, but The Goodfather retaliated by hitting a Big Boot on Sexay. Right to Censor continued with the advantage until midway into the match, when Richards attempted an aerial technique. Sexay, however, crotched Richards on the top turnbuckle and Superplexed him. Hotty was then tagged into the match, where he attempted to deliver a Worm to no avail, as Richards delivered a superkick on Hotty before pinning him to win the match.

The next match was the encounter of Road Dogg and X-Pac. Both men fought back and forth in the beginning of the match, but Dogg gained the advantage after countering an X-Factor into a powerbomb. Although Dogg had the advantage, X-Pac retaliated by successfully hitting a low blow and another X-Factor into a pinfall and winning the match. After the match, Road Dogg hit X-Pac with a pumphandle slam and performed some crotch chops.

The third match was a Triple Threat match for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. Champion Val Venis defending against Eddie Guerrero and and Chyna gained the early advantage in the match by doublt teaming the Champion, but as Guerrero attempted a Hurricanrana, Venis countered it into a powerbomb. Near the end of the match, Guerrero hit a Frog Splash, only for Chyna to throw him out of the ring and pin Venis to win the match and become the new Intercontinental Champion.

The next match was the encounter of Jerry Lawler and Tazz. The match began as Tazz gained the advantage, but Lawler retaliated by delivering a piledriver on Tazz. As Tazz recuperated, he applied the Tazzmission on Lawler; in desperation, Jim Ross, the commentating partner of Lawler, hit Tazz with a glass jar, breaking it over his head and allowing Lawler to pin Tazz for the win.

The fifth match was a Hardcore Championship match between Steve Blackman and the defending champion, Shane McMahon. Blackman had the advantage over McMahon midway into the match, until Test and Albert interfered on McMahon's behalf by double teaming Blackman. Nevertheless, Blackman retaliated as he hit both men with a kendo stick, which allowed McMahon to attempt an escape from the ring. Blackman then chased McMahon until both men were on a high steel structure, which was a part of the stage set. Blackman then hit McMahon with a kendo stick three times, causing him to fall from the steel structure onto the arena concrete floor. After the fall, Blackman performed an Elbow drop and got a pinfall to win the match and the Hardcore Championship.

The next match was a two out of three falls match between Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho. In the midst of the action, Jericho attempted a Lionsault, which Benoit countered into a Crippler Crossface, forcing Jericho to submit and winning the first fall. After the first fall, Benoit retained the advantage, but after he delivered two Belly to Belly suplexes, Jericho countered a third one into the Walls of Jericho, forcing Benoit to submit and allowing Jericho to win his first fall (the second fall in the match). As Benoit and Jericho fought back and forth, Benoit countered a Cradle by Jericho into one of his own, and he pinned Jericho by holding on to the ring ropes for leverage to win his second fall (the third fall overall) and the match.

The seventh match was the first triple threat tag team Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match for the Tag Team Championship between the team of the Hardy Boyz (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy), Edge and Christian, and the Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley).[30][31] The Dudley Boyz gained an advantage in the match when they delivered a 3-D on Christian through a table. Jeff Hardy then attempted a Swanton Bomb on Bubba through a table, but it backfired when Bubba moved and Jeff went through the table. Subsequently, Edge and Christian knocked Bubba off of a ladder outside of the ring, through four double-stacked tables. Lita, the associate of the Hardy Boyz, then came down to the ring, pushing Edge and Christian off a ladder. This allowed Matt to climb a ladder to retrieve the championship belts, but D-Von pushed the ladder, resulting in Matt falling at ringside through two double-stacked tables. Lita came to check on Matt, but she was brutally speared by Edge in retaliation and was taken out of the match. D-Von then climbed another ladder, along with Jeff, but Edge and Christian knocked the ladder over, leaving Jeff and D-Von hanging on the belt; Jeff then kicked D-Von a few times, causing the latter to fall into the ring. Jeff was eventually hit with a ladder by Christian and fell into the ring, allowing Edge and Christian to climb another ladder and retrieve the championship belts to retain the Tag Team Championship.

The next match was a Stinkface match between The Kat and Terri. After back and forth action between the two women, The Kat gained the advantage after she performed a powerslam on Terri and then threw Terri into the turnbuckle and delivered a Stinkface on her for the win.

Next up was the Bladewolf vs Kane vs The Undertaker.

After a promo package showing how this match came to be, the Undertaker's theme played in the arena to a huge pop from the crowd as the American Badass drove out on his motorcycle.

"Well, you better take a seat." JR said. "Listen to the ovation for the Undertaker, the American Badass!"

The Undertaker drove down the ramp and started to circle the ring like he owns it, before coming to a stop with his bike facing the stage. Getting off his bike, the Undertaker makes his way into the ring.

"The Undertaker, waiting on his brothers, Kane and the Bladewolf." JR said. "And King, I find it most interesting that no one wanted to officiate this matchup. No one wanted to officiate this battle."

"Would you?" Jerry retorted.

"Hell no." JR said, making Jerry chuckle. "And referee Jack Doan told me earlier he was just gonna let them go at it."

"I'll be honest with you, I think we're a little close to the action." Jerry said, seeing how close they were to the ring.

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

'Oh, ah, ah, ah, ah! Get up, come on get down with the sickness!'

Down with the Sickness by Disturbed played and out came the Bladewolf on his own, debuting new ring gear. He had ditched the sleeveless top and tights, and was now wearing very similar ring gear to WCW's Sting, only the two white Scorpions on the side were replace by two black wolves with red eyes, sitting on their haunches. Bladewolf had also brought back his old faded black,3/4-length, hooded leather coat with red interior linings that he debuted at SummerSlam 1997 with. The ring attire exposed much of Bladewolf's upper body, showing the black and red face paint going down to his chest and fully forming the image of a demonic wolf creature.

"And here comes the Bladewolf, who debuted at this very event three years ago." JR said. "Three years of dominance and destruction from this man, the little brother of the Undertaker and Kane."

"Look out!" Jerry shouted as the Undertaker rushed out the ring and ran to meet his brother halfway. Even though Kane had arrived, referee Jack Doan called for the bell to begin the match.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

"Jack Doan just letting them go at it as he said he would." JR said, Bladewolf and Undertaker exchanging fists with each other. "And the Bladewolf and the Undertaker, having a fist for fist battle."

"Kane hasn't even showed up-" Jerry was cut off when pyro exploded on the stageway and Kane walked out. "Oh, here he comes!"

"And here comes Kane." JR nodded. Kane ran to help his brother, the Bladewolf, against the Undertaker. "And you can tell it was going to be the Bladewolf and Kane teaming up to take on their brother."

"But you forget a certain stipulation that Mick Foley added on Monday night." Jerry reminded.

"No I didn't, King. Whoever wins by pinning the Undertaker will get a shot at the WWF Championship." JR said.

Bladewolf knees Undertaker in the ribcage, but the Undertaker managed to shrug it off and elbow Bladewolf in the face before turning his attention to Kane as Bladewolf takes off his coat, tossing it aside and adjusting one of the straps of his ring attire.

"This is gonna be a damn fistfight." JR said. Undertaker continued hammering away on Kane, driving him back towards the ring.

Undertaker grabs Kane by his hair then rams his head off the steel ring post, then grabs Kane to deliver a right hand before rolling into the ring. The Undertaker then grabs Kane... and he's trying to rip Kane's mask off!

"Undertaker going for that mask! He's trying to rip Kane's mask off!" JR exclaimed. Kane drove Undertaker's neck into the ropes, causing Undertaker to let go and fall back, giving Kane time to adjust his mask as Bladewolf came down and slid into the ring, booting the Undertaker in the face. "And now the Bladewolf."

"I tell you, JR, there;s no true monsters quite like the Bladewolf and Kane, especially when they're together." Jerry said. "I mean, they double Chokeslammed their brother through the ring and called themselves monsters! Just like when Frankenstein created the Monster, Kane was made a monster, Bladewolf was made a monster."

"How so?" JR asked curiously.

"Well, that fire that scarred Kane's face is what made Kane into a monster." Jerry reminded. "Face disfigured, forced to hide all his life because he was ashamed of it."

Bladewolf drives Undertaker into the corner and holds him there, allowing Kane to get in some lefts and rights.

"And Bladewolf... well, he was a monster when he arrived here, masked, never speaking, just... some Michael Myers-like person that destroyed anybody and anything in his path." Jerry shook his head.

Bladewolf pulls away from Undertaker to deliver a boot to the midsection of the Undertaker. Bladewolf then joins in on delivering right punches to the Undertaker.

"And look at Bladewolf and Kane here, teetering off on the Undertaker. Those monstrous, those thunderous right hands." JR said.

"Get a chair!" Bladewolf told Kane before punching Undertaker in the head.

"Did you hear that?" Jerry asked as Kane gets out the ring.

"I did. Bladewolf telling his brother, Kane, to get a chair." JR said. Kane picks up a steel chair and comes back into the ring. "This will not be pretty."

Bladewolf backs off as the Undertaker is on his knees now. Kane rears back... but Undertaker punches his brother in the midsection. Undertaker unloads with lefts and rights to the midsection of Kane, then finishes with a big uppercut that makes Kane drop the chair. Bladewolf picks it up but gets a big boot to the face by the Undertaker, knocking him down. Undertaker picks up the chair and... CRACKS KANE ON THE BACK WITH IT!

"What a shot to the spine by the Undertaker, knocking down Kane." JR said.

"Keep in mind, these guys are brothers." Jerry reminded.

Undertaker gets on top of his brother and starts hammering away with lefts and rights before he goes for the mask once more, trying to rip it off.

"Undertaker, trying to rip that mask. He's going for the mask." JR said. "I think he's got that masked ripped!"

"Look at this!" Jerry pointed.

"He's going to unmask him!" JR said.

Bladewolf comes up from behind with a clubbing forearm to the back of the Undertaker. Bladewolf drags Undertaker off Kane, who rolls out the ring to check on his mask, but half of it had been ripped off by the Undertaker, not enough to expose Kane's face though.

"Now Bladewolf, defending Kane." JR said. Bladewolf knees Undertaker in the stomach, gets around him and hits a German Suplex. "Nice German Suplex!"

Bladewolf gets to his feet, then jumps up and comes down with a leg drop across the throat of the Undertaker. Afterwards, he covers his brother.

"The cover!" JR exclaimed.

"One!"

"Two-!"

Kane breaks it up.

"And Kane broke it up." JR said. Bladewolf gets to his feet and frowns at Kane, speaking to his brother but Kane points at himself. "Remember, whoever wins by pinning the Undertaker gets a shot at the WWF Championship, and both Bladewolf and Kane would love nothing more than to beat their brother and then become WWF Champion."

"I knew it wouldn't be long before this split the two apart." Jerry said.

Bladewofl starts to turn away from Kane... BEFORE HE CLOBBERS HIM! Bladewolf and Kane go at it now, before Bladewolf ducks a right from Kane, grabs him from behind and hits a German Suplex across the ring.

"German Suplex to Kane!" JR said.

Bladewolf walks over and pulls Kane to his feet. Kane lands a right hand on his younger brother, but Bladewolf retaliates with a right hand of his own before he tackles Kane into the corner. Bladewolf backs up before running only for Kane to boot him in his face, causing Bladewolf to stumble back before Kane grabs him and throws him into the corner where he unloads on Bladewolf.

"Kane with lefts and rights to his brother." JR said.

Kane stops his assault and brings his brother to the ropes before irish whipping him into the ropes, Bladewolf rebounds and comes back only to be lifted up... AND HIT WITH A POWERSLAM!

"Powerslam by Kane!" JR said but the Bladewolf sits up right away. "And the Bladewolf sits up."

"Immediately." Jerry added.

Bladewolf gets to his feet and turns into a clothesline by Kane, who then clotheslines the Undertaker who rolls out of the ring. Kane follows his brother, grabs him and bounces his head off the steel steps that were propped up against the barricade. Kane then picks up the steel steps as Undertaker tries to shake the cobwebs loose.

"Kane's got those steel steps." JR said.

Undertaker turns as Kane surges forward, intending on driving those steps into his brother's face but Undertaker moves out the way... AND THE STEPS CONNECT WITH THE RING POST! Kane fell down as the momentum made the steps hit him in the face as well.

"Kane was going for the Undertaker's head." JR said.

Undertaker picks up the steel steps, raises them over his head... AND DRIVES THEM INTO KANE'S FACE!

"Oh God!" Jerry winced.

"Undertaker hitting his brother with those steel steps!" JR said.

Undertaker then makes a gesture of taking something off his face, indicating he was going to rip Kane's mask off. "Oh no. Now he wants to rip the mask off Kane!" Jerry said as Undertaker grabs Kane, delivering a huge right hand.

Bladewolf rolls out the ring and tackles the Undertaker into the barricade, the momentum of which sent them over it.

"Now Undertaker and Bladewolf! Fighting into the crowd!" JR said.

Bladewolf and Undertaker make it to their feet and start exchanging fists as they fight in the crowd, security keeping the fans back. Bladewolf rakes his brothers eyes, causing Bladewolf to stumble back, to which Undertaker grabs a vacant chair, fokds it and... CLOCKS BLADEWOLF IN THE SKULL WITH THE CHAIR!

"Oh!" Jerry winced.

"Undertaker with a chair shot to his brother's skull!" JR said. Undertaker drops the chair and heads back to ringside, Kane being his target. "And now the Undertaker going after Kane. Kane, who has been busted open by the Undertaker and those steel steps."

Undertaker enters the ring and grabs Kane... WHO NAILS A LOW BLOW!

"Low blow! Down goes the Undertaker!" JR said.

"I wonder if Kane even realizes half his mask is gone." Jerry said. "I don't think Kane has ever seen his own blood."

Kane gets to his feet, rushes forward to deliver a hard uppercut to the Undertaker, then delivers a second one, making the Undertaker stumble around. Kane lands another big right hand, then another, sending the Undertaker to a knee. Kane delivers more right hands to his brother, making Undertaker stumble around before he comes off the ropes... AND TAKES KANE DOWN WITH A SPEAR!

"Woah!" Jerry exclaimed.

"Undertaker taking Kane down with a Spear, I think!" JR said as the Undertaker starts pounding away on Kane's face, aiming for the exposed area where the blood was coming from. "The Undertaker back in Kane's face!"

After hammering away on Kane for a bit, the Undertaker then tries to rip Kane's mask off again.

"Undertaker's trying to rip the mask off!" JR shouted over the cheers.

"Listen to these people! They want to see it!" Jerry said.

Kane fights Undertaker off, but is stumbling and woozy as he makes it to his feet with his brother. Undertaker lands a few right hands, then goes for another... BUT KANE CAUGHT HIM BY THE THROAT!

"Uh-oh!" Jerry said.

"Undertaker caught!" JR said. Undertaker rears his leg back... AND DRIVES IT BETWEEN KANE'S LEGS! "Undertaker goes downstairs!"

Undertaker grabs Kane and... HE RIPS OFF THE MASK! UNDERTAKER HAS KANE'S MASK!

"He;s got the mask! Undertaker has ripped the mask off!" JR shouted. Kane bails from the ring, covering his face as he runs to the back, not wanting to expose his disfigured face while Undertaker holds up the mask like some kind of trophy.

"Is this match even over?" Jerry wondered before seeing something. "Look out!"

Bladewolf was back in the ring and waiting for Undertaker to turn around. When he did, Bladewolf grabs him... AND HITS THE HELL'S END!

"Hell's End! Bladewolf was lying in wait!" JR shouted as Bladewolf hooks the legs. "Hook of the legs!"

"One!"

"Two!"

"Three! Ring the bell!" The referee called.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Down with the Sickness played as Bladewolf got to his feet and stared down at his brother. "Here is your winner... THE BLADEWOLF!" Howard Finkel announced.

"Kane has been unmasked and... Bladewolf has beaten the Undertaker!" Jerry said.

"Bladewolf knew what to do! He let Undertaker and Kane go at it, and took advantage of the situation!" JR said. Bladewolf pulls the straps of his attire to his waist, flipping his hair back as he looks around at the crowd before doing the title gesture around his waist. "And he;s coming for the WWF Championship!"

Bladewolf exists the ring and makes his way to the back...

And that's it for this chapter. Yeah, Bladewolf's got new entrance music, Disturbed is always a favourite and win for me, and also new ring gear. Yeah, it's similar to Sting;s... well, by thinking about it, it's like a mix of Sting's attire and Kane's attire that he debuted at this very event, just black and with the wolf designs rather than the fire, and it ain't see-through or anything like that.

Just use your imaginations.

And yes, I know Down with the Sickness wasn't released until October 2000, but just go with it.
