In the Schoolyard...
After Class 1-A was done cleaning up their classroom to stay in, Mr. Aizawa left to go get their luggage from the hotel. With the help from Zoe, she managed to get everything back in one piece. Chloe wasn't too happy about him returning, but Zoe got her off of him pretty quickly. She got a cab to bring everything back over to the school.
Everyone was so excited to finally have their costumes back. They never even got to wear their hero costumes on the trip yet.
Alya insisted they all wear their hero costumes for their interviews right now.
Everyone got theirs on in the locker rooms. The girls finding it refreshing to not have someone like Mineta around.
Once Uraraka put hers on, she came across someone else's hero costume case by the boy's locker room. It had the number 18 on it.
It was Izuku Midoriya's.
She went to open it and found his hero costume all set up to wear. His mouth guard was right there for the taking. She wanted to wear it so badly, just until they saved him. She took off her helmet and wrapped his mouth guard around her neck.
"Hey, Uraraka!" Alya said a little too loudly.
Uraraka jumped up and was just happy it wasn't Ashido this time around.
"A-Alya, hi! What's up?" Uraraka asked her, quickly closing Midoriya's case.
"Are you ready for the interview? Everyone's waiting."
"Oh, uh yeah. Let's go!" Uraraka said pumping herself up.
Her and Alya walked up to some chairs that were set up in the schoolyard. Ladybug and Cat Noir helped set up a space for Alya's LadyBlog.
Chairs, a phone stand for Alya's phone, lighting and a background image of Paris.
Class 1-A were all there ready to be interviewed except for Mr. Aizawa. He stood behind the camera along with Ladybug and Cat Noir. Alya sat on a chair beside everyone else, holding some cards that had questions from her viewers.
"Mr. Aizawa, you're not going to be interviewed with us?" Ashido asked him with a pout.
"I don't do well with interviews. I'm better off behind the cameras," Mr. Aizawa said as he stuffed in his hands in his pockets.
"Ooh, someone's camera shy!" Alya said excitedly.
Mr. Aizawa didn't even bother responding, and Alya turned back to her interviewees.
"Ready, Alya?" Ladybug asked her, preparing to go live.
Alya gave her a thumbs up, and Ladybug counted down from five. And then they were live.
"Hey, LadyBloggers! It's Alya Cesaire coming to you, live! Today we have a special interview going on with heroes in training, Class 1-A!" Alya announced as she clapped excitedly, "Ladybug told me they are from a hero school called, U.A. High School Academy. From what I can tell, it seems like a tough school to get into, even though I've never heard of it. Anyway, I'm start with going down the line from left to right. Please, tell me your names and what your superpower is..."
"Hello everyone!" Iida introduced, starting off strong, "I'm the Class Representative of Class 1-A! My name is Tenya Iida and my qu-- uh, my superpower is Engines!"
Alya went silent, not sure how to respond to that.
"Oh, sorry!" Iida said back as he showed the back of his legs, "I have engines in my legs that allow me to run incredibly fast!"
"Wow! That's so cool! And looks kind of painful..." Alya commented, a little grossed out, "Next."
"Uh, hi. My name is Rikido Sato and my superpower is Sugar Rush! When I eat sugar, it allows me gain super strength," Sato Introduced as he ate a couple cubes of sugar, causing his muscles to buff out.
"Oh wow! I wish I could do that!" Alya commented, "I'd eat sugar all the time! Next up is someone we've met before folks!"
"Yes. Hi, I'm Shouto Todoroki and my superpower is Half Cold, Half Hot," Todoroki introduced as he showed off his power, "I can control ice on my right side and fire on my left side."
"That's quite the power! You must be really popular with the ladies," Alya commented, causing Ladybug to smack her forehead.
"Not really. No," Todoroki said unphased.
Alya could tell he was going to be a tough one to interview.
"Already, then. Next up..."
"Bonjour! My name is Yuga Aoyama and I'm actually from Paris, as you can tell. I love all of my Parisian friends, Oui! And my superpower is... wait for it... Navel Laser!" Aoyama introduced with more pizzazz than anyone else.
Then, silence.
Alya looked more confused than anyone else there.
"Na-Navel... Laser...?"
"Oui! I wear this belt to help me control it better, but I can shoot lasers out of it. But, it hurts my tummy if I use it for too long," He explained, still with a lot of pizzazz.
More silence.
"Uh... Th-That's really... uh, cool... Yuga," Alya commented, sort of, "Okay... Next up..."
"Um... Hi, the name's Kyouka Jirou, and my superpower is Earphone Jack," Jirou introduced as she raised her earphones connected to her ear lobes, "I can stretch my jacks several meters away," She then plugged them into her boots, "And I can also plug them into my boots, which have speakers, to channel the BBQ sound of my own heartbeat through them, sending out a vibration wave."
"Wow, that might be the coolest one yet!" Alya commented, causing Jirou to blush.
"Re-Really? You think so...?" Jirou said a little embarrassed.
"It's so cool! Alright, next up..."
"Hi... my name is Ochaco Uraraka, and my superpower is Zero Gravity," Uraraka introduced as she placed her fingertips together, causing her to float off her seat, "I can make myself weightless or other objects weightless, but I have to touch it with all five of my fingertips in order for it to work. Unfortunately, if I use it too much, it makes me really nauseous."
"Wow! So cool! Well, not the nauseous part of course," Alya commented, "Next up we've got--"
"Hey, extras! The name's Katsuki Bakugo and my superpower is Explosion!" Bakugo yelled as he emitted small explosions in the palms of his hands, "I can create explosions in the palms of my hands. You see, my sweat is made out of nitroglycerin, which I can ignite whenever I want to. The gauntlets I wear here actually store my sweat so I can create an even bigger explosion!"
Alya, including Ladybug and Cat Noir looked a bit frightened.
"Wow... That is... Quite the superpower you've got there..." Alya commented, "Now... next up..."
"Hey everyone, I'm Eijiro Kirishima, and my superpower is Hardening," Kirishima introduced as he hardened his muscles, "I can harden my body that's harder than steel. It's great for shielding or being like a bulldozer!"
"Ooh! That's pretty sick!" Alya commented, "Now, that's a man right there, ladies!"
Kirishima looked like he was about to cry manly tears.
"Yo-You so get me..." He told her as he tried to hold them back.
"Anyway... Last, but certainly not least..."
"Hey guys, I'm Mina Ashido, and my superpower is Acid!" Ashido introduced as she created acid in the palm of her hand, "I can create acid from my body, which I can shoot at and melt my targets. I can even slide on the floor if I need to!"
"Okay, that's pretty cool," Alya commented, "I even love your horns! They're so cute, girl!"
Ashido looked like she'd found a new best friend. Her golden eyes sparkled with excitement.
"Thank you, Alya! I love your sneakers!" Ashido cried.
Alya was so excited to finally get to some questions now.
"Alright, now I've got some questions from my viewers who're probably watching this right now," Alya told everyone as she looked at some cards, "Ah! Here's a good one! This question is from, RadioGirl21: What is everyone's hero names if you've chosen one already? Again, we'll go from left to right."
"I've chosen my hero name, Ingenium! It comes from a long line of superheroes in my family," Iida said, then started to look sad, "My brother was badly hurt by a villain in Japan, so I'm proudly taking his place as the next Ingenium!"
Alya actually felt that, and so did Ladybug and Cat Noir.
"That's very sweet of you, Iida. I'm sure your brother would be very proud," Alya commented, "Next up..."
"I've chosen mine. I'm the Sweets Hero: Sugar Man!" Sato announced as he ate some more sugar cubes to buff up his muscles, "Sorry, I don't really have a story connected to it like my friend, Iida does."
"And that's okay. I like it! It's straight to the point!" Alya commented, "Next up..."
"I actually don't have one," Todoroki told her, "In class, I just wrote down my first name, but I'm sure I'll come up with one soon enough."
"Wow! I'm surprised! I have a good hero name for you: Freezer Burn!" Alya commented, "Pretty cool, huh?"
"That sounds alright," Todoroki commented back, "But, thank you though."
"Wow, you're not easily impressed," Alya mumbled, and then said, "Next up..."
"Oui! Oh yes, I've chosen my hero name!" Aoyama announced, "I am, The Shining Hero: Can't Stop Twinkling! It's stunning, is it not?"
Alya, Ladybug and Cat Noir didn't know how to respond to that one. Ladybug and Cat Noir smacked their faces in embarrassment.
"Uh... wow... That's quite... twinkly," Alya commented finally.
"I know, right?" Aoyama said, still showing off.
"Alright, next up..."
"I've chosen one. My hero name is, The Hearing Hero: Earphone Jack... I know it's the same name as my qu- uh... superpower, but I kind of liked it so..." Jirou explained as she twirled her earphone in embarrassment.
"No, it's okay. I like it! Besides, it goes perfect with your hero costume," Alya commented, causing Jirou to blush, "Next up..."
"Uh, yeah. I've chosen one. My hero name is Uravity..." Uraraka told her, "I don't really have much of reason other than I thought it sounded cool... so..."
"Totally cool! And super cute!" Alya commented, "Next up..."
"Yeah, of course I've chosen one. But no one at U.A. will let me keep it!" Bakugo explained a bit furious, "It's Lord Explosion Murder!"
Alya, Ladybug and Cat Noir still couldn't believe this guy.
"Wow, that is... quite the... hero name..." Alya commented a bit nervous to move on, "Next up..."
"Yep! My hero name is Red Riot!" Kirishima said eagerly, "I'm paying homage to one of my favorite pro heroes back in Japan, Crimson Riot! He's so manly!"
"Hey, that's really cool! This hero sounds pretty awesome!" Alya commented, "And last..."
"Pinky!" Ashido yelled out of no where.
Alya, Ladybug and Cat Noir almost jumped out of their skin. They didn't expect her to be so loud.
"Wh-What?" Alya asked her a little confused, "That's your hero name?"
"Oh... uh, yeah... Sorry, I just got nervous there for a second," Ashido told them, "I wanted my hero name to be Alien Queen, but my teacher didn't like it. So, I had to pick a different one."
"Alien Queen is a very cool hero name, but you know what?" Alya commented, "Pinky suits you, girl!"
Ashido felt a lot better once she heard her new friend boast about her hero name.
"Thanks, bestie!" Ashido cried.
"Alright, moving on to the next question. This comes from, RoboDude81: Is there anyone back home you miss and could you tell us more about them?" Alya asked everyone, "Again, we'll go from left to right."
"Well, I obviously I miss my brother a lot," Iida told her as he chopped the air, "He's very generous and cares so much about the people he helps. He's truly an inspiration and I can't wait to see him when I get home!"
"He's sounds like an amazing person and hero, Tenya," Alya commented, "Next up..."
"I have a little, pet bunny back home, and I wasn't able to take him with me on the trip. I miss him so much..." Sato told her, feeling sad, "He's such a good boy and loves to be pet under the chin."
Alya wasn't expecting an answer like that, that's for sure. She kind of liked it though.
"That's really sweet of you. I'm sure he's really cute!" Alya commented, "Do you have a picture?"
Sato pulled up a picture on his phone and pointed it at the camera. He had the cutest face with long whiskers.
"Aww! He's so cute! Thank you for sharing! The viewers are going to eat it up!" Alya commented with sparkles in her eyes, "Next up..."
"Well... If I had to pick someone I miss back home... It would be my mom," Todoroki told her, "She's helped me a lot through school, but if it wasn't for Midoriya, I wouldn't be this close to her now."
"Oh, a mama's boy! That's pretty sweet. So, Midoriya helped you a lot, huh? That's amazing! I'm sure you guys will save him," Alya commented, "Next up..."
"Honestly, I just miss my parents as well. They've been very good to me and were able to get me into U.A. Same as my friend though, I miss Midoriya. He and I became really good friends recently. I... hope he's okay," Aoyama told her, surprising everyone.
"Wow, Aoyama. I didn't know you felt that way. Thank you for sharing that," Alya commented solemnly, "Okay, next up..."
"I have a best friend back home. Her name is Momo Yaoyorozu," Jirou told her, "She her superpower is called Creation. It allows her to create any non-living object or material as long as she knows the molecular structure of whatever she is making. She's actually a lot like you, Ladybug. I know she would've loved to meet you. Kaminari is a total flirt however, and I don't miss him at all!"
Ladybug looked proud to be a reminder of their friend back home. But that last comment threw everyone off.
"This Momo friend of yours sounds amazing! But, Ooh do I sense a crush back home?" Alya asked back teasingly, "He's sounds a lot like Cat Noir."
Ladybug couldn't help but laugh at that comment, Cat Noir sending a glare at her.
Jirou however, blushed and stumbled over the question.
"Ka-Kaminari?! No! He's an idiot! I don't miss him at all whatsoever!" Jirou stuttered.
"Sure you do... Looks like we got love in the air," Alya commented, not helping Jirou's blushing, "Next up..."
"I actually miss my best friend, Tsuyu Asui. She's very loyal and strong," Uraraka said as she caressed Midoriya's mouth guard, "Her superpower is pretty cool, actually. She has all the powers of a frog. She can climb walls, camouflage, spit her stomach out which is pretty gross, oh! And she can use her tongue to swing around and catch villains! She's pretty cool!"
"Wow! Sounds like a really cool friend to me!" Alya commented, "Sorry to ask this, but is that mouth guard hers?"
Everyone in Class 1-A didn't even realize she was wearing part of Midoriya's costume. Ashido looked like she wanted to jump out of her chair.
"What, no! Th-This is Deku's! Well, I mean... Izuku's! We're um... kind of..."
Ladybug knew where this was going, and she bit her lip.
"Don't say it, Uraraka..." Ladybug thought.
"We're together..."
Alya's eyes were sparkling with even more excitement than when she first started the interview. Even Ashido cheered.
"Oh my gosh! We actually have heroes in love here! In Paris! Well, one of them... Sorry. This alone will definitely win Midoriya's approval back," Alya commented while Uraraka tried to hide behind the mouth guard, "Next up..."
"Me?! Tsk, I don't miss anybody. I'm not into that mushy gushy stuff. Okay, Mole Face?" Bakugo told her, "The only thing I miss is becoming the number one hero, just like AllMight!"
"AllMight? Who's he?" Alya asked him back.
"Are you kidding me? He's only the greatest hero in the world! He's... was the Symbol of Peace. He was actually suppose to come with us on the trip, but... we got separated... So, tsk whatever," Bakugo explained trailing off.
"Sounds like do you miss him," Alya commented raising an eyebrow at him, "Alright, next up..."
"Hmm... I guess miss Kaminari like Jirou over here. He's a very good friend of mine. Yeah, he can be an idiot sometimes, but he means well and cares about his classmates," Kirishima told her, "His superpower is Electrification, which gives him the ability to charge electricity and surround his body with a shocking aura that electrocutes anyone who makes contact with him."
"Yeah, but it fries his brain," Jirou commented on it.
"Looks like someone still likes him," Alya commented while Jirou covered her mouth, "He sounds very cool! And last..."
"I miss a lot of my friends back home, but I definitely miss Toru Hagakure. She's one of my best friends!" Ashido told her, "Her superpower is Invisibility. Her body is invisible all the time and can manipulate light! She's super fun and loves to talk about boys!"
"She's sounds like a great friend! But, she's invisible all the time?! That's pretty crazy!" Alya commented, "Moving on to the next question... Ah! We have one from, SlyFox01: What're you heroes going to do now that I've given... Izuku... over to... Monarch...?"
Class 1-A stood up straight, knowing full well who that was. Even Ladybug, Cat Noir and Mr. Aizawa were on edge.
"Lila..." Ladybug thought angrily.
"I-I'm sorry! I'll... pick a different question. These just came in very recently so I have plenty--"
"You're Volpina, right?" Uraraka asked, standing up from her chair, "Well, not anymore since I took the Fox Miraculous from you! I just wanted everyone in Paris to know that I took it from you and now, you'll never it see again. I almost got you back there. If you touched one hair on De- Izuku's head, I dare you to come to school tomorrow. Lila Rossi."
Class 1-A sat there in shock. They'd never seen Uraraka look so furious before. Not like this. Even Mr. Aizawa looked surprised by her outburst just now.
Ladybug gestured to Alya to cut the interview short. Alya couldn't agree more.
"Th-That's all the time we have LadyBloggers! I hope you all enjoyed this... interesting interview. This is Alya Cesaire, signing off!"
Another amazing chapter!
The interview in general went rather well for the most part. Everyone got the chance to show off their superpowers and hero names. But it seems that Lila interrupted and got Uraraka all riled up!
What a fun chapter to write!
