A barrier has been set up around the city, trapping the residents in the battlefield which is the Jyamato zone. Hordes of Jyamato get to work attacking anyone or thing that moves, hunting down the people for sport.

Alone, Alex charges into the city wearing his DGP uniform, with his Desire Driver already attached to his waist. It doesn't look like any other Riders are in sight.

Stopping just short of the end of the bridge, he's greeted with the sight of a super Jyamato, standing over one of the people it's killed. He can't see their face, but they appear to be in a DGP uniform. The Jyamato looks down at them strangely, as if to mourn them before creepily turning its head to face Alex.

Alex clenches his fists in rage, spitting his words out. "You disgusting monster! How dare you?!" He pulls a large Raise Buckle from his jacket and goes to insert it into the driver, but both disappear without him noticing. "What?"

He looks back at the Jyamato only for it to turn its back towards Alex, and start to walk away.

"Hey..., HEY! DON'T YOU DARE WALK AWAY!" Alex tries to run after it, but his legs don't respond. He's forced to just stand there and watch. He hears two familiar voices calling out from behind him.

"HENSHIN!"

Running through him, Kamen Rider Obsidian and Snow charge into battle. Wearing the armor of their Raise Buckles, they engage the Super Jyamato.

Alex tries to reach out, but he becomes blinded by a flash of light. When his vision returns, all he sees is ruins. The city he tried to protect is destroyed with nothing remaining but ash and loss.

Finally able to move his legs, they move on their own as he's given a first-person view of his failure. Looking around, he watches as Kamen Riders he knows are cut down, and defeated by the Super Jyamato.

The final straw comes when Obsidian crashes right at his feet. "John!" He tries to reach his hand to them to help, but their friend turns to dust before they can even reach him. Horrified, Alex looks forward. The Super Jyamato watches in the background as a Rider walks towards him. It's Kamen Rider Garuru. It's him. His Rider form stares back at Alex, his reflection cast in their eyes. "Where were you?"

His Rider form casts fire. The flames spread, wrapping around Alex as he shares the fate of the other Riders. He tries to resist, throwing himself into his Rider form as the flames turn blue.

...

Alex snaps awake to find himself sitting on one of the sofas in the DGP Lounge. Wearing his uniform, save for the jacket, he's visibly shaking with sweat pouring down his face. He breathes heavily before slumping back in his seat.

"Rough sleep?" Alex turns to see Girori standing beside him. "We have beds if you wish to sleep, Garuru."

"Thank you, but no thanks. I didn't even mean to fall asleep. Sorry." He rubs the brow of his nose, his mind still feeling uneasy. "I just figured since the game is starting soon, I might as well hang about."

Girori stands there still, giving him a concerned look. "It has been a while since the last game. What makes you so tired? "

"It's nothing, really. I've just been...having problems sleeping for a while. I just need a little pick me up, and I'll be ready for the game. Don't worry."

"Of course. In which case, might I suggest," Girori puts down a tray on the table in front of Alex. On top is a freshly made cup of tea, a sugar bowl with a spoon, and a flannel.

Alex looks over what is provided, and smiles, almost laughing. "Girori, we may be Kamen Riders, but right now, you're my hero."

Girori politely smiles and nods, "Thank you. I'll let you know when the game starts." Girori walks off, leaving Alex to his tea.

Out of sight of the pair, a figure in the DGP Uniform watches from the dark. "It seems you have more of a weakness than I thought," the player walks off, clutching an Armed Buckle in their hand tightly.

...

Elsewhere, in a place lost to the world, and claimed by the Jyamato is a greenhouse. Almost a mini-mansion with its size, stretching long and wide, nearly part of the forest it hides in. This is the Jyamar Garden, where the Jyamato are created for the games.

Tending to the garden is the gardener himself, Archimedel. An old man in overalls and a straw hat. He goes over the various plants and green of the garden with his water canister.

"Now now, my sweeties. Drink up well. And soon you'll be nice and strong to kill those rotten Kamen Riders," he speaks softly to the plants. Above him is a hive of larvae Jyamato, still growing into their humanoid forms.

Walking back over to the other side of the garden, he sets the canister down beside a box full of Desire Drivers.

"Archimedel?" A voice calls to the old man. He turns around to see a figure in a black cloak, and their face covered by a mask.

"Oh. It's you," the old man doesn't sound pleased with their presence. "What do you want?" Archimedel continues to go about his business, uninterested in the cloaked figure.

"I just need your assistance with something important to my research," the figure answers the old man.

"What? You want to use one of MY Jyamato for one of your sick experiences?" Achimedels shows clear rage at the thought of his Jyamato being hurt.

The figure starts laughing, "You misunderstand. It's not your Jyamato that will be experimented on." The figure pulls out a black and white Raise Buckle covered in vines and ivy.

"What the hell is that?" Archimedels tries to snatch the buckle from their hand, but they retract it.

"I made it from what was left of your stronger creations. Consider this a little trick at revenge."

"What do you want from me?"

"I just need to borrow one of these," the figure grabs one of the Desire Drivers from the box. "I can't get one of these normally, and I have a candidate already picked out for the cause. I just needed this, and one more thing." The figure takes the Driver and disappears, using its cloak to dissolve from the world in a puff of smoke.

Archimedels just shakes his head as he grabs a sack of broken and cracked ID Cores from under the table. "What a Creepy weirdo," the old man mutters before using the ID Cores for fertilizer for his Jyamato. "Now eat up my babies, these ones are fresh." He plants two ID Cores into the soil, one of an Elephant, the other a Bat. He smiles as a few grown Jyamato approach him from behind, "It's game time."
