A: The Kengan Ashura/Omega universe is so fucking cool as a martial artist, compared to Baki which is more fantastical Kengan has a lot of real fights with proper techniques of style vs style with that bit of anime flair added.
I genuinely can't help but recommend the anime to most people I know(who are into martial arts) because it's cool and has that realistic element that I love(except Ohma's weird ass aikidoesque martial art and the Kure's Removal(cool as fuck btw just don't like it being too anime compared to everything else))

Saeko looked at my side of the table as I put two bags of different types of food down, I smirked at her.
"I'm a big girl, I get hungry easily."
Saeko giggled.
"I see."
I proceeded to eat a variety of foods of which my favorite ended up being tonkatsu and my least favorite being yakisoba bread, I promptly ended up giving it to Saeko.
"Seriously, whose idea was it to make a sandwich out of noodles?"
"I like it."
I put my hand on the girl's shoulder.
"Saeko, sometimes it's okay to be wrong."
The girl smiled.
"I remember scoring more than you on the test if we're going based on how wrong someone is..."
"Ugh... No need to remind me, I'll need to study Japanese history before I end up flunked on those classes."

I put on a serious expression as I crossed my fingers into a Gendo pose.

I saw the purple-haired girl smile charmingly.

I blinked and then held two fingers to my neck.
"I think my blood pressure just spiked."
Saeko giggled and I went to grab a Pocky candy that I had left.
"Ah, yes, the weeaboo's food of choice."
The purple-haired girl tilted her head in confusion.
"That's what we call Japan Otakus on the good ol' USA."

I took one of the sticks and bit on it, surprisingly tasty.

I stuck the box out to Saeko and she grabbed one, I placed the box between the both of us so we could both grab some.
"I already ate but you're tempting me with sweets. You're a bad influence, V-san."

"So, what got you into Kendo?"
"My father mostly, my family's style is one of the few remaining swordsmanship styles with over a thousand years of history."
I whistled at the fact and Saeko had a pleased expression at my reaction, we kept talking for a while about Kendo and school before the bell rang and we had to go back to class.

"Remember people, after the second week we start having normal studying again so be ready for that."
I yawned as I listened to the English teacher in a half-hearted manner, first exam I got a 100 on.
Standing up I picked up my books and put them in my bag, looking to the side I saw the purple-haired girl observing my body up and down.
"Got something to do after class, Saeko?"
The girl didn't seem to mind being caught and nodded.
"I'm the club captain so I need to oversee the practitioners' admissions and then I can go home."
"Aw, and here I was thinking of being the envy of the school by having such a pretty girl to walk home with."
Saeko smiled.
"Maybe next time."

As I finished packing everything I almost forgot an important part of making friends.
"Oh yeah, Saeko give me your number."
The purple-haired girl smiled wide at me.
"Quite the straightforward way of asking, don't you think?"
I made a motion of waving off something.
"Eh, I prefer being direct than beating around the brush."
"I can tell."
Saeko took a piece of paper and wrote quickly on it, finishing it she passed it to me.
When I looked at the paper I became confused because apart from her number Saeko had also written her email, my confusion must have been shown on my face as she quickly explained.
"We use emails for communication here, SMS are usually more expensive than just mobile data."
I made an understanding noise and shoved the paper in my pocket, I nodded resolutely with a serious expression on my face.
"Pretty girl info obtained."
Saeko giggled and covered her mouth at the same time, afterwards she stood up and started to walk away.

I sat at my desk for a while, what should I do now?

Having no goal for the moment I stood up and walked out of the classroom, people who hadn't seen me before stared at me as I walked which was pretty embarrassing.
Reaching 2-B I opened the door, inside I could see people looking at the corner of the class as Rei and Komuro were talking intensely.
"I just asked a question."
"Give me a break."
I came closer to two girls who were whispering.
"Hey, what's going on here?"
The girls both looked at me surprised, but I just smiled at them, making them blush.
"U-Um I think Komuro said something he shouldn't have and Miyamoto got mad, since Igo isn't here to calm the situation down it's been going for 3 minutes now."
"Hmm, I see. Thanks for the help kouhai~!"
I gave the girl a wink and a smile and she smiled back with a red face, man I love being hot.
I started walking towards the conversation seconds away from turning into a shouting match.
"So you stop talking to me for a week and I'm supposed to do what? Text you every day until you decide I'm worth your time?"
Rei clenched her fist.
"You could have at least apologized."
"For what? Asking a question?"
"It wasn't the question! It was how you said it!"
Komuro scowled at the words.
"What did I say? That it was weird because you're a good student?"
"Yes! How do you not understand what that means?!"

I slammed both my hands on the desk and both Rei and Komuro jumped, they both looked at me and I smiled.
"Let's cool ourselves off for a bit, okay?"
"Tch."

I looked at Rei whose expression had softened, not losing my chance I snarked.
"Clearly."
A little guilt showed up on her face as she looked down.
"I'm leaving."
Komuro stood up and grabbed his bag, Rei didn't spare a look at him as he left.
Grabbing the chair in front of Rei's desk I turned it around and sat on it with my arms crossed.
"Want to talk about what just happened?"
"Not really..."
I sighed, women, as hard to deal with now as they always have been and will be.
Hearing me sigh I saw Rei's facial expression saddened.
"Sorry..."
"You don't have to apologize, I'm just a little frustrated because I don't know how to help."

I stood up and looked at Rei, she in turn looked at me and I motioned for her to stand up.
She obeyed but with a little confusion on her face, before she could say anything I hugged her tightly.

"Nu-uh, I'm going to hug you until you stop being sad."
"I-I'm not sad! Stop it! It's embarrassing!"
I hugged Rei for a few more seconds before letting her go, she seemed a little out of breath and her face was red.
"Geez... Please warn me next time, a few more seconds and I would have died between those... things."
I smirked at the brown-haired girl.
"Come on, you liked it. It's okay to admit you have a little crush on your cousin you know?"
"In what world is that okay?!"
I laughed at how embarrassed Rei was getting, seemingly having forgotten she had a fight not long ago.
I smiled at the shorter girl as I lightly caressed her head.
"Let's go home, okay?"
Rei nodded, a small smile appearing on her face.
"Okay."
Ah, never going to get tired of that.
Four men sat in the back of a van, all with a balaclava on.
"You sure about this?"
The tallest asked and the leader, a man with shifty eyes replied.
"He said that piece of shit cop is trying to open THAT investigation again, didn't he?"
"Yeah but-"
The interruption of the man was quickly stopped by a skinny guy's hand, in his mouth a cigarette.
"Relax, this is just a deterrent, we grab her here, get her naked, take a couple of pics, and then we send her back on her way maybe after we have some fun. Plus, we get 100k for this job alone."
"Fuck that's a good amount."
The man smiled.
"I know, now... Let's get to work."
A fat man smiled creepily as he went to the driver's seat.
"It's been a while since I've seen naked a highschool girl~"
The skinny guy sat in the co-pilot seat.
"It will be a good day for both of us then!"
With their plan made, the van was started and they drove to Fujimi Academy.
I walked next to Rei back home, the sky was slowly becoming orange as the birds chirped.
"So, gonna say what all of that was about?"
Rei sighed and I waited for her reply.
"Dad, he was investigating a politician. The said politician had the connections necessary to make it so I couldn't pass the year and so here I am. 2-B just like last year."
Ah, an injustice.
No matter the place it seems corrupt politicians are the norm, I lightly placed my hand on Rei's shoulder and pulled her closer.
She didn't resist as my touch made her relax, and tears started pooling in her eyes.
"D-Dad, I've never seen him so sad. He cried and told me he was sorry so many times, it broke my heart."
It's hard to imagine a stoic man like the one I met crying for any reason, still, the fact that it happened meant this was more than just an attack on Rei, it was also a psychological attack on her Dad.
"And then Takashi, instead of trying to understand me or tell me it was going to be all right he just gave an accusatory question in a disinterested way, it made me so angry that I felt my emotions burst out at him..."
Ah, that's understandable.
Going to the quiet side of the street I hugged her against my chest without suffocating her.
"You've had it rough, eh? It's okay, Rei. I'm here."
I caressed Rei's head as I let her cry a bit on my chest, the girl choked some sobs as I hugged her.
Even though the girl who was crying in my chest right now felt nothing but anguish at the moment, I couldn't help but wish that I was in her place when I was younger.
The worst thing that could happen to her was fighting with a friend and high school drama, I wish that had been the case for me as well.
After a few minutes of unloading her emotions, she became calm, and we walked together holding hands.
"Thank you, and I'm sorry for bothering you..."
I smiled at her.
"For what? Letting a cute girl hug me? If that a bother then please, do bother me a lot all the time."
Rei snorted at that, her hand gripping mine tighter.
"You're such a loser..."
I gripped my chest on the side of my heart in an exaggerated manner.
"You really had to sneak that in, didn't you?"
The brown-haired girl giggled at my words, after a few seconds she looked down and smiled.
"Really, thank you."
A smile appeared on my face before I could control it.
"It's nothing, family helps each other after all."
Rei coughed awkwardly on her hand.
"R-Right..."
I continued to hold hands with the pretty brown-haired girl as we continued our journey of going back home, along the way topics such as the first day of school and meeting new friends popped up.
As we kept walking I saw something I recognized from anime, like a dumb tourist I pointed at it.
"Oh! A convenience store!"
Rei raised an eyebrow at me and sighed.
"You really are like a little kid..."
My curiosity won me over and I looked at Rei.
"Do you want anything?"
The brown-haired girl just shook her head as she sat down on the curb outside the store.
"Suit yourself then, I'm gonna get me some ice cream."
I rubbed my hands like a fly and entered the store, I still had some money from what Kiriko gave me so I could buy some candy for myself.
Wait, spending money? Candy? Rei was right I am an overgrown child!
Anyways, ice cream.
"Welcome."
A man with a tired expression looked at me, I looked at him for a few seconds before my mouth spoke my thoughts.
"Has anyone ever told you that you look like Simon Pegg?"
The man's deadpan expression remained.
"Every few weeks someone says it."

I moved onto the snack area and grabbed some Pocky and oreo ice cream.

Alarms reverberated in my brain as my vision was filled with notifications, when I entered the store there were none after all which meant that it counted like Rei was still with me.
I quickly ran to the front of the store and saw something that made my heart drop.
Two men pulled Rei into a van, the shock lasted for a second before I sprung into action.
I sprinted in the direction of the vehicle, sweat ran through my body but as much as an athlete level I was I didn't manage to catch up to a car going full speed.
I stumbled and fell to the ground on my hands and knees.
"Fuck. I was only gone for a few minutes. What the fuck..."

With the search finished I could see that she was being transported out of the city.
Not one to sit still I started to jog in the direction where they were taking her, fuck I wish I had my bike right now.
My movements were a bit erratic, I was beginning to panic as the worst possible outcomes come to mind.
I held onto my chest and slowly controlled my breathing, I could fix this.
I was the main character after all, wasn't I?
Or maybe that's what I told myself I was.
Opening the contacts on my cellphone I called Kiriko, in case I couldn't do anything, I would at least make time.
The phone rang a few times before I heard a female voice speak.
"Vaureri? Is there som-"
"Rei just got kidnapped, I'm following their trail. As soon as I reach where they have her I'll send you the location."
"Wai- What- How- Vaureri don't! I can have a team on the way just hold on and let me handle it!"
"Sorry, I couldn't live with myself if something happened to Rei."

I closed the call and silenced the phone, moving back to the GPS I followed the dot on the screen.
Even though I tried to look at this new life like a game, I really couldn't in the end.
Even though the floating windows call these people NPCs I can tell they're real people.

I picked up the pace and started running faster.

My brain process of running quickly changed as I saw the obstacles that would impede me from getting to Rei quicker.
Jumping on an electricity post I maneuvered myself to the top of a house's wall, with the grace of an olympian I began running and jumping as I moved in the direction of Rei with renewed speed.
Rei Miyamoto woke up and opened her eyes, what greeted her was not the usual pink of her room but complete darkness.
Trying to move she found herself bound by some type of cuff both on her feet and hands, on her head rested a bag covering her vision.
"Oh~ She's waking up~"
A creepy voice spoke and a shiver ran down her spine, slowly the memory came back to her of what happened.
She had been walking with her cousin and then they kidnapped her when they saw her alone, her body unconscious started trembling as she suddenly felt cold.
"Where am I..?"
Four voices laughed and she flinched at the noise.
"They always ask that, it's so fucking funny."
The bag covering her head was removed and fluorescent light blinded her, after her eyes accommodated to the light she could finally see where she was.
A warehouse of some kind, empty at the moment with the holy noticeable things being lights, a camera, and a bed.
Rei's mind immediately went to the worst possible outcomes as tears formed on the edge of her eyes, seeing this one fat man began to laugh.
Not about to let herself be overcome by the feeling of despair she was feeling, a scowl formed on her face.
"Y-You're all going to r-regret this! My father is a d-detective and he'll see that you all e-end up in jail where you belong!"
The men all looked at each other, afterward, a loud laugh filled the room.
"This bitch thinks she's hot shit or something!"
"Kyahahah! She trembling like a kitty and she's still trying to act tough!"
A skinny man grabbed her face by the cheeks, and with his other hand, he pulled out a butterfly knife.
Rei gasped as she felt how close the weapon was to her face.
"I don't think you know your position right now..."
Putting the knife against Rei's uniform, he slowly traced a line down the blouse cutting right through it and the brassiere.
Rei closed her eyes tightly as the blade touched her skin and she trembled like a leaf, without a bra holding her chest her voluptuous mounds were free for the world to see.
Not being able to hold back the tears any longer they started to spill from her eyes freely as she covered her chest with her forearms, the man came closer and licked the tears as they flowed.
"I'm happy that you understand now..."
Rei tried her hardest to stop crying but the fear that she was feeling at the moment was too strong to do anything, she didn't know where she was neither who these people were, nor the one behind this whole thing.

The fat man smiled creepily at Rei as she tried to look away, the helplessness of not being able to defend herself frustrating her to the core.

Such a thought passed through her mind, remembering the fight they had in the morning she could practically picture Takashi looking away from her in this situation.
The flash of a camera took her out of her musings as a man with disgusting eyes took a picture.

Rei tried her best to cover both her face and chest but the action became difficult to accomplish with all four of her extremities tightly secured.
"Get the panties and skirt too."
A tall man quickly approached her and went to remove said items, in a moment of bravery she retaliated.
As the man was crouching down to grab her skirt she managed to kick upwards in the direction of his face, the man stumbled back and grabbed his bleeding nose.
"GAH! This fucking bitch!"
A heavy hand hit Rei's face with an open palm, the strike made the girl cry in pain as she held the spot.
The taller man looked at the man with disgusting eyes.
"Hey! After you're done with those fucking pictures I want first, I want to hear this fucking bitch scream!"
The man with shifty eyes cackled at the request but nodded nonetheless, Rei couldn't help but focus on the words "after you're done" making her mind reach the most plausible yet horrifying conclusion.
Not wanting to be hit again Rei remained static as the tall man removed her skirt and then underwear, the skinny man whistled and came closer.
"Were you hoping for some action today? Why are you freshly shaved, huh?"
Rei's lips thinned in hidden anger but her mouth did not open to reply, the skinny man lightly traced his knife on her face.
"When I ask you something you reply, yes?"
Rei nodded as tears fell from her eyes, the man smiled.
"Good, now reply to what I asked."
The brown-haired girl mumbled a reply.
"Louder."
"I... any... there..."
Becoming irritated the skinny man put the knife to Rei's throat and nicked some blood.
"Louder!"
"I can't grow any down there!"
All four men started to laugh at the exchange of words, choked sobs came from Rei's mouth as she was forced to speak mortifying information.
"P-Please... Stop this..."
The only reply she got was a flash of a camera as the man with disgusting eyes smiled.
"That's a good expression..."
Snot and spit ran down Rei's face as she could no longer maintain her composure, her brain slowly coming to terms with what was going to happen to her.
"Pictures are done, I think this will be enough."
"Finally, it's time I teach this bitch a lesson."
The taller man started to unbuckle his belt, a grin of twisted satisfaction present on his face.
For some reason, in her mind, the image of her cousin appeared.
The blonde's smile and jokes came back to her as she felt like soon she might not be in this world anymore, almost in a prayer a thought crossed the front of her mind as she closed her eyes.

BOOM CRAAASH
"What the-?!"
The door came flying off its hinges and impacted the floor, a figure stood in the entrance, its body emitting a vapor from the heat it produced and the cold temperature outside.
"Where is my cousin?"
Rei instantly recognized the voice and the flame of hope ignited in her heart with bursting energy, tears streaming down her face as her prayer was answered.
"I'M HERE!"
The shout reverberated around the room with enough strength and emotion for everyone to call attention to it, having heard her clearly, Rei saw V start to walk over to her.
The taller man quickly buckled his belt back in place as he walked towards the blonde-haired girl, as he closed in on the girl he realized they were the same height.
Putting his hand on the girl's jacket collar he glared intensely.
"Listen here, if you don't want me to beat you to de-"
That's as far as the man's words took him, in a display of strength and beautiful technique V grabbed the man's arm and threw him in the air with the peak athlete-level strength and weight of her body and his weight combined[1].
BOOM CRACK
The man impacted the concrete floor head-first, and as a result, his neck broke.
The body of the tall man fell to the ground tangled like a pair of wired earbuds unto itself as the muscles no longer received signals from the brain, and froth began pouring from the man's mouth.
Standing up with a kip-up, V began to walk again.
"This bitch!"
Two men rushed at her, one fat and one skinny.
The rotund male tried to use his body weight to crush the girl as he basically threw himself at her, in a fluid movement V grabbed the man's collar as he fell on her and with a foot on his stomach threw him back[2].
The fat man flew and flipped in the air as he fell face first on the ground breaking his teeth and severely scraping his face along with his hands.
Not about to let V stand up, the skinny man jumped on the blonde-haired girl still on the floor with his knife.
The girl grabbed the man's arm and he pushed with all his might trying to stab her in the chest, as he looked down at her face trying to figure out how she could stop the blade he saw what he could only describe as a demon.
The bloodshot eyes of the blonde combined with a full smile that showed her gums and teeth plus the dark lighting on the warehouse made for perfect nightmare fuel, seeing the face of the woman under him made the man falter for a second.
That second, unfortunately for him, was all she needed.
Pushing his knife arm to the side and grabbing his wrist, the woman quickly weaved her other arm under his[3].
Having a bad feeling about the situation the man used his other free hand to strike the woman's face with a closed fist, the strike impacted her face and nose multiple times making her start to bleed.
"Khkkhkkhkhkhk~!"
Despite all this, the blonde's facial expression remained the same even as the blood poured from her nose mouth, and lips.
The only noise escaping her mouth was a choked laugh that made the skinny man's skin crawl.
As he prepared himself to strike again out of panic, V twisted her body like a crocodile that got its prey ready in its maw.
CRACK
"AAAAAAAH!"

The lock was completed, and the blonde-haired girl made sure to break the shoulder and not stop cranking the submission until no more sounds of breaking could be heard.
On top of her, the man passed out as his destroyed arm hung limply from his side, pushing the scum away V stood up.
The feeling of someone grabbing her tightly from behind became present to V all of the sudden, caught off guard the girl quickly tried to get away but was abruptly interrupted by an unexpected hit.
"Kyaaah! V!"
A high-pitched scream produced by Rei was all it took for the blonde-haired girl to notice that something bad had happened.
Looking down she saw an average-looking man with a shit-eating grin and deep eyes filled with disgusting thoughts, turning her eyes away from the man and to where she felt a warm liquid drip she saw a knife had been stabbed into her side.
Before Rei could say anything V's hand shot out and grabbed the man's wrist.
CRACK
"Kah-!"
With pure strength and no technique she managed to break the man's wrist making him pull away to grab the injured limb, the knife still in her side as her brain processed the moment.
The blonde-haired girl's face remained in a state of shock before some type of switch was flipped.
A smile broke out as tears flowed from her eyes, she began to clench her teeth as the same choked laugh escaped her mouth.
"Khkkhkkhkhkhk~!"
Slightly perturbed by the noises made by the blonde, the fat man let her go in order to put some distance between them.
As soon as he let go of her, V turned around and grabbed his collar.
Dropping her weight, turning, and positioning herself between the man's legs the throw was completed[4].
The last thing the rotund male could do was widen his eyes as the concrete floor approached.
BAMF CRACK
The disgusting sound of bone breaking was heard and the fat man remained motionless with his ass up as blood pooled from his disfigured face.
Standing up to full height, V towered over the last male in the room.
The man was still nursing his broken wrist, he took a few steps back then turned around and began to make a run for it.
With a sprint that would make even Usain Bolt impressed, V jumped on the man's back.
"I've got you~!"
The man's eyes widened as he tried his best to keep his balance.
"Get off-ACK!"
A thick muscular arm wrapped itself around the man's throat, and the bicep and the forearm did a combined job of restraining blood flow to the brain[5].
While the blonde-haired girl went to complete the lock, she was stopped by a sudden feeling.
The man, in his desperation, had managed to grab the knife that was still located at her side.
With a pull, he took it out and went to stab V's leg with his newly regained weapon, instead of penetrating the appendage, the knife found itself lodged in the blonde's free hand.
"Go to sleep~"
The single arm around the man's throat began to get tighter and tighter as black spots appeared in his vision, he tried to unlodge the knife from the blonde's hand but found the action impossible as V tightened her hand muscles and made a closed fist to not let the blade be moved.
The man clawed at the forearm and bicep and then after three seconds passed, he fell to the ground limply.
Getting off the man's back, V stumbled and fell to the ground.
Rapid steps reverberated in the warehouse as a naked girl ran to the blonde's side, Rei stared at her cousin with tears flowing down her face.
The blonde smiled at her, unlike the sadistic smile she was sporting a few seconds ago, this one was warm and filled with love.
"Hey, I think I just fell for you."
Rei stared at the girl on the floor with a knife on her hand and bleeding from her side, choked sobs started to come out of her mouth.
She had wanted to help her but her own fear of pain and the previous encounters with the people had made her afraid and left her like a trembling child in need of rescuing, and now because of her, V was suffering the consequences of her inaction.
"Geez, was the joke that bad? I thought it was fitting because you know I just fell-"
Rei kneeled down and hugged the blonde's head, sobbing still not completed.
V took her free hand and slowly stroked her back, the action made Rei cry even harder.
"I-I'm sorry f-f-for being so weak..."
Gently the blonde continued to stroke her back, the warmth of her touch enveloped her being.
"It's okay, it's okay. You were plenty strong."
"L-L-Liar..."
Rei looked down and saw that a trail of blood had reached her knees, the source being the side of her cousin and her hand.
The brown-haired girl stood up and looked at the scene.
"V, y-you're bleeding a lot!"
The blonde looked down and saw the same thing.
"Ah, shit. I guess the adrenaline made me forget about that. Help me up."
Rei moved without a second thought as she put the uninjured arm of the blonde over her shoulder, reaching a wall V motioned to lower her against it.
With a sucking in of air, the blonde sat down.
"Okay, I'm fine. Rei do you have an I.D?"
Standing up in hurry Rei, looked around for her bag even going as far as to walk out of the warehouse naked.
Finally finding her schoolbag she took out her student identification, she quickly kneeled next to the blonde as said blonde gave her a warm smile.
"Thank you..."
The girl removed her jacket and gave it to Rei, seemingly taking notice of her dressing status she blushed as she accepted the clothing and zipped it up.
The height difference between the two girls making the jacket seem almost like a dress to the smaller girl.
Grabbing the plastic square, V lifted her shirt and placed it on the place where she had been stabbed, and sealed it with pressure.
Rei sat on the side with the uninjured hand and held the blonde's hand, V smiled at the action.
"Dying holding hands with a cute girl doesn't seem so bad..."
Rei's eyes started to spill tears again as her grip on the hand became a bit stronger.
"That's not funny..."
"Heh, sorry... I tend to joke around a lot when under stress..."
Rei stayed still next to her cousin, the thoughts in her head going a mile per hour.
She had met the blonde just a few days ago but she already was an irreplaceable part of her life, and imagining what her life might be going forward without her made tears flow from her eyes.
'Takashi... If you don't care about the promise we made, why should I...?'
Rei looked at V, the blonde still had a smile on her face even though she looked like she might be dying.
"Are you not afraid to die?"
The words came out of Rei's mouth before she could stop them, surprisingly the blonde merely chuckled.
"I sometimes feel like I should have died long ago..."
"W-Why..?"
The blonde sighed, the smile was one of someone reminiscing about the past.
"I've led an empty life, I was a walking corpse whose only goals were to satisfy my basic needs. No one to be there with me, no one to look out for. Maybe, I've been dead this whole time and didn't notice..."
Rei's warm tears hit V's hand, and a sudden emotion burst from her chest as she looked at her cousin.
"Th-That's not true! You have Mom and Dad now, you said you also made friends with that Kendo captain r-right!?"
Rei tightened her grip.
"Y-You have me..."
The blonde chuckled.
"You're right..."
"I k-know I'm right."
Rei lifted her eyes up and saw the green eyes of the blonde shine with tears.
"If-If you stay with me, I-I'll give you a kiss, OK? You're a pervert s-so you'd like that r-right? J-just... don't go..."
The blonde smiled warmly at her and even though Rei wanted to deny it, this seemed bad.
"Now I feel like I could run to hell and back."
"I-Idiot, I just said to not go anywhere..."
"Yeah, I'll stay here with you..."
"T-Thank you..."
The sounds of a car coming closer and closer could be heard, and Rei's face instantly lit up.
"V! Someone's coming!"
Looking to the side she saw the blonde's eyes had closed, hand hanging limp to the side no longer holding the I.D. in place.
"V..?"
Rei moved to the other side and continued applying pressure on the wound, dozen steps came closer and closer to the warehouse.
"HELP! SOMEBODY, PLEASE HELP!"
The desperate cries of the brown-haired girl were quickly heard as twelve police officers entered the warehouse with flashlights.
"Rei! Vaureri!"
The figure of Kiriko entered the warehouse and the image she saw shocked her, Rei was on the floor both hands pressing upon a bleeding wound of a seemingly passed-out Valerie.
"Mom! Help me please!"
Kiriko turned and shouted.
"Bring the paramedics! Quickly!"
On V's face, a calm smile remained as her dreams of unconsciousness were filled with scenes of an easier life and a loving family which she wished she had in her previous life.
'Hopefully, this time is more than a dream.'
