Lenico IV, Lenico System

Eight months prior.

The breaks in the wind were calm along the barren world of Lenico IV as several LAAT Republic dropships flew through its skies.

Luz looked calmly out her transport along with this world's barren plans.

"Commander."

Luz tore her gaze away to look at Captain Drake and her troops. Her men of the first squadron in their newly upgraded and specialized Phase II armor, freshly painted in their unit colors, and special attachments, including kamas and pauldrons. The armor had been available to them but was only recently distributed to her men due to the Republic prioritizing the main assault legions and star corps. It irritated the Padawan a bit that her unit was down on the supply list but made do with what she was given. Though given that they were all the way in the expanse and near the unknown regions a lot of time, supplies tended to be scarce coming their way unless they went out to get supplies themselves.

"Yes, Drake?"

"We're nearing the drop point," the clone reported.

"Good, let's go over the mission." Luz directed to the men in front of her before turning on her comlink. Then connecting and addressing the soldiers in the other transports.

"Okay men, listen up," she started. "For the past few months, Republic supply conveys in the region have been hit, and their contents were stolen. Republic intelligence has placed a pirate group affiliated with the Black Suns to be the ones responsible." The news got an adverse reaction among the clones.

It was no secret that Luz's men had little love for Pirates and criminal organizations. After witnessing the aftermath of several raids from other criminal organizations, many clones in her unit itched for a fight.

"Captain Oak and his ships are engaging the Pirate ships in orbit," Luz continues. "Lancer Troop of the first squadron will drop outside their perimeter in the attempt to draw their forces out to engage us. Captain Voltan and Hawk Troop will do an airborne drop above the base and seize its workings. Soon, this Pirate group will be pacified, and the region secured for future habitants."

"Why did it take so long to get these scumbags, ma'am?" A clone trooper asked.

"Pirates are a low priority among Republic high command. The convoys were small with only light escort and non-critical supplies, humanitarian aid, and the like. But with so many raids, it's starting to affect humanitarian efforts in the region."

Drake then chimes in. "This is a standard four-step firefight when dealing with pirates. We engage, they react, we box 'em, they surrender."

The first transports soon landed and deposited their cargo. A few BARC speeder bikes were attached to the wings, three on each for rapid deployment. Out the back, a pair of AT-RTs offloaded for extra firepower. The other ships do the same in releasing their loads.

Luz steps out in the sun to allow her new armor and helmet under her arm, both seem to gleam off this world's sun. She recently put together a mixture of Jedi robes and clone commando armor. Wanting to look more like a soldier meant to be here than a teen that had no place on the battlefield. She donned a spare clone trooper helmet before jumping on her bike and raced off with Drake, following them with the rest of Lancer Troop on their speeders with the walkers following.

Up ahead, the troopers spot a decent amount of dust being kicked up. Several clones down there electrobinoculars for a better look and reported their findings.

"Pirates dead ahead. Multiple speeder bikes heading right at us!" A clone reported.

"Get ready, men!" Drake shouted while Luz activated her lightsaber, its yellow meshing near perfectly with the current environment. "Let's show these pirate scum not to mess with the clone army!"

"For the Republic!" Luz shouted with her saber held high.

"FOR THE REPUBLIC!" The clones shouted in cheer.

The clones opened fire with the speeders' head cannons when they entered weapons range. A few clones produced a polearm/lance that extended beyond in front of them. The pirate's speeders didn't have this. Instead, they either fired back with a one-handed blaster, or the passenger they carried would shoot back. In the five seconds before the two sides met head-on, streams of straight blue and random red and green blaster bolts went back and forth at each other, hitting clones and pirates alike. At the clash, some clones with lances thrust forward and successfully impaled a pirate while some speeders collided, killing both riders.

The young Jedi blocked two blaster shots with her weapon before delivering a downward slice on to one speeder front end, sending it and its rider to a fiery doom. Luz banks her speeder around and carefully fires off several shots into the backs of her opponents. When they came around to meet her head-on, she deflected more of their shots back at them.

This struggle seemed to repeat as clones simply outmaneuver the pirates with practice ease. On her fourth pass around, Luz's com went off.

"Commander, we're in the pirate base and facing light resistance. Should be over with momentarily," Captain Vultan reported.

"Understood. The battle out here is getting messy, Captain, but we're handling it." She paused to block an incoming attack. "Continue your assault, then link up with us when your objectives are completed," Luz ordered.

"Yes, ma'am," The clone captain responded before the com shut off.

The battle continued onwards before it concluded. When the AT-RT's began flanking maneuvers and boxing the enemy in, the battle was truly won for the Republic. The few pirates that were smart enough to see this turned their rides around and retreated to their base. Only to be met with a hail of fire from above as the jet trooper soldiers of Hawk troop came to meet them. The few to remain stopped their speeders and threw down their arms in surrender. They were quickly captured and put in cuffs.

Luz leaned against her parked speeder nearby as she watched the pirates round up. Drake down there with the others coordinating with his men in arranging transport to the nearest Republic prison. Today was another small victory in the eyes of the Republic but an important one for the people. Now the people in the region, as well as the cargo haulers that come through, will feel a lot safer in the future.

She didn't need to turn her head when the sound of a jetpack burning off next to her to know who it was. "Everything good on your end of the operation, Captain?"

Captain Vultan took his helmet off and stood next to the young Jedi. "They never stood a chance!" The clone boasted. "Soon as we came down upon them, they broke into a panic and were cut down. The few who had half a brain retreated into their compound to hold us back. We've rooted them out and begun recovering all the stolen merchandise."

"Anything of note?" Luz asked.

"Most of what we know from the manifests we were given. There were rations, medicine, humanitarian supplies, and enough building materials to start a basic settlement. Enough to fill up our large hauler. We also found an unusually high amount of proton bombs," he reported grimly.

"That's not good." She looked over to the recent battlefield covered with the dead and wounded. "I saw in the fight they had a good amount of speeder bikes with them. Must have known a good salesman to get that many."

"If the Suns are supplying random gangs and upstart pirates, this could cause problems for the people that live this far out of the core." Voltan deduced.

"I agree, Captain." Luz's wrist com activated and saw Oak was trying to contact her. "Commander Noceda, here. Something to report, Captain?"

"Commander, a message from Coruscant has come in for you. From the Jedi high council," Oak reported.

"The council?" Luz blinked in surprise and shared a confused look with Voltan as he shrugged his shoulders. "It's been a while since they've last contacted me. What does the message say?"

"It says you are to return to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and to meet with the Council. It details that they want to discuss our recent engagements with the pirate groups and..." Oak trailed off before stopping.

The clone Captain trailing off and stopping did not comfort the teen Jedi. "...and what, Oak?"

"...Possible pending reassignment."

The camera zooms in to see a dirty deadeye Luz walking in the rain, passing many dirt mounds with sticks planted in them with brown cloaks of Jedi robes wrapped around them or blaster rifles with clone trooper helmets hanging on them. The smoking aftermath of a battlefield in the background. Photos of Luz with several clones hanging out in a barracks. Luz on a ship's Bridge. The backsides of a younger Padawan Luz and a human male with short black hair in a Knights robe with thick sideburns and a confident smile. An armored Luz riding on her BARC speeder bike with her lightsaber out with several other clones on speeders following her into a battle.

Luz unknowingly walks through the portal door and falls on her knees. She looks up to see a hand in front of her to take. She looks up to see a hand in front of her to take. Looking at the hand's owner, Luz sees a smiling Eda with a happy King on her shoulder. Life is brought back in Luz's eyes, and she smiles back before taking the offered hand.

The door where Hooty was opened as Luz steps outside in her sleeveless yellow vest, with Luz twirling and posing with Eda's staff with one hand and her lightsaber in the other in a low guard. But then Eda took her staff back with an amused grin while Luz gave a sheepish smile. King popped in front with his own pose.

A Boiling Isle mural was seen as Gus, Willow, and Amity are seen briefly before it burns away to show King commanding an army of stuffed toys, which all fall on him. The scene burns away to reveal Luz in front of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, looking at it in sadness. The silhouettes of the Jedi Council, along with other Jedi, stood before disappear, leaving only their burnt robes and lightsabers on the ground.

Emperor Belos raises his staff as he foreshadows behind his castle as red lighting thunder from the sky. His army of Coven guards, numbering by many at his call, standing ready for a fight.

Now Luz was on her BARC speeder, racing past across the landscape. She zooms down the Boiling Isles passing, Gus waves at her, Willow smiling, and Amity looking surprised before she smiles softly. Passing by several Coven guards as they try to chase her. Then Eda, with King on her shoulder, hopes on behind the Jedi. Then they hang on for dear life as a massive, monstrous worm-like monster, mouth wide open, lunges at them. Everyone screamed in horror as Luz turns the throttle up and guns it.

Then the scene changes back to the Owl House, where it's nighttime with stars twinkle in the sky as the three are on the roof and looking up into the sky. Luz opens her hands to reveal a ball of magic light and let it float to the sky.

Several lights flashed of fire and ice before the title appeared.

Jedi of the Isles

Episode: 11 Enter the Teacher

Sometime later, at the Owl House, Luz stood in the living room with the portal door open to her realm. She held a holo communicator in her hand with Captain Oak percent on it.

"And you're sure he doesn't suspect anything?" Luz asked cautiously to her friend.

"For now, he knows nothing. He believes we are giving everyone a physical for the continued service of this new Empire," He explained.

"Good. How are the men that are free taking it?"

Oak shook his head. "Not good, and especially with what some of them unwillingly did under Pit's command."

"Homefront Company?" The captain nodded much to the Jedi's growing concerns. "What's the status overall of those who are free?"

"With the entirety of the medical staff on our side. We've freed more of my brothers by the day. Many of them are in mourning after what happened. We've got at least two platoons per regiment that are freed, and I've got a company of my men working on gathering supplies for when the time comes to leave. I've even got some to transfer to one of our ships in orbit to start liberating them there."

"Isn't that risky, Oak?" Luz said with worry. "Taking a ship, especially a Republic cruiser, is going to cause a lot of trouble."

"And taking nearly a legion of soldiers from them won't?" He joked. "Don't worry, little sister. We'll keep our heads down. Besides, we have no cruisers in orbit. Just our four-reserve assault Acclamators, the squadron of Gozanti patrol cruisers we've accumulated for anti-pirate raids, along with the new toy the new base commander came in with."

Oak's image was replaced with a diagram of what looked like an Arquitens-class cruiser. But her assumption turned out to be wrong as she looked at the diameters and saw them at over twice the size of a standard Arquitens, with heavy turbo laser turrets that look like they belong on a Venator, and had three separate hangar bays on three different sides of the ship.

"What is that?" Luz said as she looked over this new ship.

"A new modification to the Arquitens class. A command cruiser type. From what I'm hearing, this one was specially ordered by Rushton. Apparently, he's got some banking ties to Kuat drive yards to have this ship custom commissioned with his own stocks. A real one-of-a-kind type with what he's put in," the trooper explained.

"And you're planning on liberating it for our little retirement party?" Luz hinted at the clone as his image reappeared.

"Figure he wouldn't need it anymore when we're done with things."

Luz held back a snort. "Whatever you say, Oak. What have you heard about Drake and the rest of first?"

"Still on the Wookie Homeworld. Don't know for how long with what's been going on. Though I've heard some strange rumors lately that I don't like from the front-line legions. Mainly about the Commando and ARC trooper squads."

"Go on." Luz leaned in with interest.

"After learning that the ARC troopers in our units have been reassigned, I did some digging. See where they went and found them shipped to Coruscant. That made me wonder why, so I checked every roster that I could safely access across other units showed the same thing. Reassign to Coruscant. When I told Pit this the other day, he saw the same thing with the Commando units after not hearing back from Omega squad since Order 66 went out."

Luz mulled over the information. "As much as I would like to know more about this. Put this aside for now and focus on the task of freeing more of your brothers."

"Of course, but if you don't mind me asking, Commander. Where will we go after we're done freeing everyone?"

Luz breathed in and out a sigh. Now that was the question. What next? "Not too sure yet Captain. The Location I'm hiding at would be able to hide some of us, a regiment's worth comfortably. But for everybody? It would be a tight fit and would draw the attention of the local government."

Oak nodded in understanding. "We'll manage somehow. We always do. I need to get back to my post before someone suspects."

"Take care, Oak. May the Force be with you.," Luz said goodbye.

"You as well, ma'am," Oak said before cutting the transmission.

Submitting into the soft cushions of the living room couch. Luz went over past week's events.

From the start, she brought her new friends to break into the Jedi Temple and steal a bunch of lightsabers from a public event. Then she met up with her old informant and learned why the clones betrayed her from a team of rogue clones. The shocking fact was that they were all under the influence of programmable chips that could make them do anything, even kill their friends. Then the mission to save them after that with Eda, King, and Clone Force 99. It had been good to see those close to her freed, but it was hard to leave them. Then came the drama from the demon realm.

The little Witch Gus, oh how she loves the boy's enthusiasm. Full of life and wonder to learn from other cultures. Kind of like how she was as a youngling in the Temple, but man, did he like to overreact to things. He had her meet with his clubmates from school in their human appreciation society and help authenticate some items a new kid brought. Again, Luz began to question the level of intelligence the people here held as she looked at some "Human" artifacts. After debunking that silver tongue construction track kid with the truth with a bit of persuasive help in the Force, Luz left the club to deal with the matter as they saw fit.

The days that followed were primarily calm for the Owl House bunch. Luz had been near giddy to have all those supplies they recovered from the off-site cache. Some included a complete kit for a BARC speeder bike, allowing her another mode of travel in the Boiling Isles. After explaining a few things about what they do, Luz sorted stuff like tools and light armor pieces for Eda to sell at her stand. They still needed to eat after all.

While she did that, Eda focused on her elixir and tonic-making business with the Jedi Padawan making the deliveries. When she finishes assembling this speeder, she'll be able to do more deliveries at a further distance.

Now she was wondering what she was going to do next. She thought about going to this school game Willow and Gus invited her to. Truthfully, she was never one for sports like some clones were. Be wary of when you mess with the clones on game night.

Besides, she has a prior arrangement with a particular thin mint Force adapter.

Seeing that she had a bit of time before the school was let out with Amity coming. Luz went to the new storage shack in the back, containing most of the training droids that they took from the Temple. If she was going to wait for her new student, she would be productive about it.

There were a few thoughts that Amity could not seem to get rid of as of late. Some had always been present such as schoolwork and seeking her parent's and mentors' approval. The green hair Witch would not have minded such things in the past. Then the actions of a particular human have put things in a different perspective.

Now she found herself questioning a lot of things she knew. The duel at the Coven Convention, her mentor Lilith making her cheat in front of the emperor's coven, the library incident last week. These Jedi….

That human Luz had been the reason for all of it.

Now Amity was currently walking towards a wild witch's home. The Owl Lady hideout.

Though it wasn't much of one sense, many knew where the Owl House was. But Amity herself had never been there and never saw herself going there until now. The only reason she was even going here was to learn more of whatever the Titan Luz was talking about. Especially when learning more about the Jedi Luz seemed to be a part of.

Walking through the woods didn't bring her any calm. The forest was silent, with the animals that roamed it having kept their distance from her. As she neared her destination, she started hearing strange sounds coming ahead. A whooshing sound followed by a sharp clash. Walking through the next clearing showed the reason she was out here.

Luz was there with her yellow lightsaber, and she waved her weapon around to fight back against two assailants. They were tall, sleek, and made of metal. Their eyes flashed yellow and carried similar blades, with their difference being blue instead. Amity could mistake them as abominations if they did move so fast.

They were fighting Luz and moved with a grace and physical speed that Amity couldn't believe.

The metal assailants sent a flurry of attacks, and speed forced Luz to backpedal and go on the defensive. Luz blocked, dodged, and parried all his attacks and then counterattacked with her own power attacks and slashes. Luz parried the next strike upward before pivoting into a jump kick that sent the metal man away from a reasonable distance before focusing on the next. The other slashed at her side, but she managed to block it, and the two were engaged in a saber lock before breaking it off with Luz side swiping the blade to the side. She then overhand swung her sword down on her opponents, forcing it to lose from its hand before finishing it off by slashing its chest. This was just in time for the other assailant to make its return to fight Luz again. Luz tucked and rolled away when the first assailant jumped at her with a heavy overhead chop. Then skipped away when it did a stab on her, and the blue blade went into the ground. Though that seemed to be the end of things as Luz appeared next to it at unforeseen speeds with sideswipe, leaving a hot orange line over its shoulder.

The young Witch that watched the fight had her jaw hanging from her mouth. Amity had known after their duel that Luz was holding back to not harm her. After the library and learning about the Jedi…Luz was a better fighter than Amity realized, and the fight witnessed now put things in perspective.

Further thoughts were put aside when the other got back on its feet and slowly moved behind the Jedi.

"Look out!" Amity shouted in warning.

Luz jumped at her voice and looked surprised to see her. "Amity? You're early."

To Amity's mild shook, both of Luz's assailants walked away from her and stood next to each other in silence.

Luz followed her gaze that landed on the assailants. "Oh! Don't mind the training Droids. I was using them to get a little cross-training between form I and form III in for a warmup."

Amity, not knowing what the girl was referring to, approached the human to get a better look at these "training droids." They were made entirely of blue painted metal, with strange wiring popping up at its joints. The yellow eyes where the face gave it a lifeless appearance. Aside from the apparent damage done to their body, the two were exactly the same. In some way, they reminded her of the abominations her father has been working on lately.

"Right… Anyway, to why I'm here." Amity hinted to Luz, who nodded and waved her to follow.

The two walked through the woods in silence for a minute before entering a large clearing. Near where they entered stood two wide-length stone platforms, each having a few stone pillars surrounding them. Luz walked up and sat with her legs crossed on one of the stone platforms and motioned for Amity to do the same on the other. The Witch did so and couldn't help but wonder. "Where did this come from?"

"I took the time the other day to build this up. Now that you are here, we can discuss why I've asked you to come."

"I would very much like an answer, please."

Luz pulls out a familiar blue cube. "As you know, this is a Holocron. Jedi like myself use these to store information, things like training programs, maps, and other such things," she explains and gazes at the green Witch. "And you had somehow opened it."

Amity pays attention and gives a critical look at the blue cube. "Why is it so important that I opened it?"

"They can only be opened by people with connection to a certain power. The Force."

"The Force?" Amity said with curiosity and some skepticism. "Is that the way for humans to do magic?"

"Not exactly." Luz shook her head. "Many other species have this connection too."

"Then what is it?"

"Well~ the Force is a cosmic energy that exists in all things. From these giant rocks we sit on, to the air we breathe. To the animals that stock this forest to the blood within our bodies." Luz points to the sky above them. "And it's not just this world where the Titan rests on. Out there on other worlds, the Force also resides along with whatever is out there."

"And using that power allowed you to do all those things when we had our duel?"

"In part, yes." Luz nodded. "I'm able to communicate with the Force to assist me in battle. It can warn me of impending dangers and guide my actions to defend myself, and it can increase my physical condition to push my body beyond its normal limits."

Luz lifted both her arms up, and the stone pillars surrounding her stone platform rose off the ground and rotated around her. "Even allow us to physically wield it in times of ether stress or combat."

Amity watched them lift off the ground. "There's no spell circle. Is this what the Force is, and you command it?"

"The Force is my ally, and my friend. I do not command it," Luz stated as she gently lowered the pillars back where they rested. "It merely helps in guiding my actions when I call upon it."

"Alright. So… Because I opened that cube, you think I'm able to do the same things you can?"

"With time and training, you certainly can," Luz said to her. "All it takes is a strong will and a willingness to learn."

"That's it? I find that hard to believe."

Luz shrugged off her disbelief. "And there lies your first mistake, in doubting yourself. It won't be easy if that's what you're implying. It took a while for me to get the hang of just pushing a little ball when I first started my training to be a Jedi, and now you know what I can do." She gestures to the stones around her.

The human had a point, and the Witch saw it. Now there was another question Amity needed answering. "So why are you teaching me about this? I was terrible to you over the time I've known you."

"Did you want to be that terrible person?" Luz, oh so bluntly asked. "Is that what you want to be known as?"

The question was so simple, but it felt like it weighed a ton. Amity's mind went back to what she had accomplished in life. How her parents tried at every turn to control her life from her track in school to her… 'friends'. The accomplishments Amity held herself to the mistakes that brought her so low. The image of a young crying Willow was at the fore though it all.

"No…. I don't want to be that. I don't want to be like that anymore." Amity looked at the Jedi. "Is this why you brought me here?"

"In part," Luz admitted. "Having seen what you're capable of, I hope to at least help you with the basics. That way, you won't lash out at someone and accidentally cause harm."

Amity winced a bit. "Sounds like a kid learning magic the first time."

"I'd imagine so. But yeah. With how strong you are magically, I wanted to at least help you be more in control of your actions."

"Thanks… So what's my first lesson?"

Luz sat up properly and tried to call out her inner Master. She may have been asked to teach or demonstrate in front of younglings, but this was different as the student and teacher were nearly the same age.

"In the past, you've been calling on it subconsciously to assist you in times of stress. Most Force users demonstrate their connection at a young age, like between the ages of 2 to 4. I would guess your connection is somewhat muted but still with you at our age." Luz theorizes as she rises from her spot on the stone before placing herself in front of Amity. "I want you to understand that like magic, the Force is a big responsibility, and if you are truly committed, then I need you to promise me that you will never abuse my teachings. To never use it to harm and destroy others but to protect yourself and those precious to you."

Amity didn't understand why that needed to be said. Then she saw the intense look in the human's brown eyes, and a strange feeling inside her flagged slightly. Like this was a moment she couldn't turn away from. Unknown to the Witch, Luz was feeling the same thing. The Force was vibrating between them and all around. If one wasn't in a commune or with any connection.

What neither of them realized was shared between them.

Nearly a minute of thought passed before Amity nodded.

"I promise."

Not wanting to wait any longer, Luz took the Witch's hands in hers.

"Now repeat after me." Luz was ready to recite the Jedi code like she did so long ago in the Council chambers. Like many other Jedi before her, it established the rules, tenants, and modes of behavior that all Jedi followed. Even if Luz flirted with the boundaries that it made. Doing so now, however, felt not wrong but not right either. Having been under a few different masters and experienced life outside Council's rule during the war. Being around civilization outside the clean walls, the Temple stood.

Then a memory came to her~

Flashback.

Six years prior.

Jedi Temple, Coruscant.

"Master, the code was re-written?" said a young Luz.

Sitting in front of her was an older man in his mid-thirties. He was human with light tannish skin. His messy black hair pulled back to a ponytail that gave him a young wild side but his short, chopped sideburns and thin guotie and pencil thin beard sort of counter it. He wore a traditional Jedi robe worn by many of his rank in the order.

The two sat in one of the many meditation rooms within the Jedi temple to learn about Force channeling techniques. The current study was then turned over to understanding the Jedi Code, which then went into Luz to discover the old code.

The Knight smiled at his eager Padawan. "Indeed. The code you read is not the original one the Jedi followed today, created by Odum-Urr. A Jedi member during the days of the old Republic created that which the Council then to this day follows."

"I, myself and my Master and his Master before him preferably follow the old code from before. Would you like to hear it?"

"Oh yes, yes, YES! Please master!" Luz squealed innocently. Her eyes sparkled and eager to learn.

This amused the Knight no end. The Padawan was like a ray of sunlight in the dull room. "Welp, every Jedi has a bit of a scholar in them, and it is your right to if you wish." The Knight began.

Emotion, yet Peace.

Ignorance, yet knowledge.

Passion, yet Serenity.

Chaos, yet Harmony.

Death, yet the Force.

As Luz spoke the words her Master taught her long ago, she felt the strings of the Force to her tighten to a more refined tune.

Amity recited the words; a shock went down her back, her blood pumped faster as she felt the world expand. Like her mind was just out there and could perceive everything around her. As if she had eyes in the back and sides of her head.

"What… What is this?" Amity whispered in awe as it was like she could feel the very magic of the Titan beneath her. The first genuine connection of Force was overwhelming to the point of near intoxication.

Luz looked at the new spectator of the Force. Enjoying the look of wonder on Amity's face. "The world for what it is. With a bit of time, you can gain control over your powers, so you won't feel overwhelmed all the time. You'd get used to it."

For the next three hours, Luz had her go through the steps of meditation to help focus her control and not be overwhelmed by her emotions. They also discussed the code and what it means to them. The code was confusing to the new Force user but felt oddly connected to it. Then at the last hour, Luz had Amity do a couple of exercises that Jedi performed for fitness. The Padawan explained how to use the Force to recover her lost strength.

Amity soon had to leave as it was quickly getting close to dinner. She did not want to deal with her mother again.

"It's time for me to head home, Luz. Don't want my family to be suspicious of what I'm doing out here… Thank you again. For everything. The Force is absolutely amazing!" She said gratefully.

"I'll see you later, Amity. Your journey has only begun, and the road ahead of you is long. But that doesn't mean that you must walk it alone. If you need more instruction, you know where to find me." They got up and left the clearing. Luz then produced a book from her pack and handed it to the Witch. "I almost forgot. I wanted to let you borrow this as a sorta apology for the library incident."

Taking hold of the offered item. Amity saw it was the fifth book of Azura. "Wow… Thank you. In those lessons, will they include how to use a Lightsaber?" She asked with slight embarrassment. The burnt carpet was still hidden with a mat they threw over.

Luz held back a laugh at what Amity meant. "They could. The more lessons you come to take to convince me, sure. We'll have to practice swords to get you started. In the meantime, take what you have learned before moving on."

Amity eyed the Jedi. "You seem to be talking in an oddly older fashion than you should be for someone our age."

Luz gives a sheepish laugh while scratching her cheek. "I may have been trying to sound all wise like my Master before me."

"Seriously?" Amity giggled at that human oddity that she had grown comfortable around.

"Too much?"

Amity shook her head. "How about taking your own advice? Just try being yourself?"

The Jedi stilled and looked lost for a moment before smiling. "Myself, huh? Yeah…. I can do that." She nodded. "So… what's your plans for the future?"

"Tomorrow, I'm heading out to work on my magic for the evaluation exam at school. It's later this week, and I'm going to blow my sibling's scores away." Amity told her.

"Evaluation?" Luz asked.

"They test the students at the start of every semester to see where they are at magic-wise. To see if they adjusted according to their track or required another semester to improve. Sometimes students get moved to different tracks based on where their magic potential is at."

Luz digested the knowledge. "I see. Makes sense for a school to help and evaluate its students, and well, it should be interesting when I enroll."

Amity looked surprised at that. "You're still enrolling in Hexside?"

"Why wouldn't I be? I believe it would be a wasted opportunity not to. Plus, if I'm going to stay in this world for the foreseeable future, I've got to learn more about it. So why not go to school."

"Have you gone through the placement exam and know two spells? I know you got that light spell, but what other magic can you do?" Amity asked.

"Principal Bump allowed me to perform for him on the first day. I wowed him with my mad skills in the Force, and he took that in." Luz then rubbed her chin in thought. "Although now that I think about it. I should probably go to Eda for some more training in magic. In the Boiling Isles, I can't just rely on the Force when it comes to this world."

Amity says her goodbyes before walking away and moving towards home. Luz watches her leave feeling a bit better about the training before returning to the Owl house. She needed to have a talk with Eda about her own training.

"Apprentice. Welcome to the Knee!" Eda shouted dramatically into the air.

Like many places in this world, it was unique only to here. Like the name implies, The Knee, the right Knee of the dead Titan to be exact, stood propped up to the sky. It was elevated to indicate that the temperature change was appropriate with the snow and frost collected. The view itself was breathtaking as it overlooked the entirety of the Titan, giving the viewers a spectacular scene.

"Wow," Luz commented.

"Stunning, I know." Eda nodded. "Here on the Knee holds one of the purest places of magic that flows on the Boiling. Witches of old came here to harness the magical energy within to further develop their spell craft."

"I definitely feel something here." Luz felt her connection to the Force tingle. Not too dissimilar to a world rich with life.

After her training with Amity, Luz went over to Eda about the proposition for more magic training. Some words were exchanged about how Luz was lacking in that department of her studies. With a bit of underhand tactics from Luz that Eda approved, the older Witch agreed for some magic boot camp. The next day, they dressed in some warm fur coats, leggings, and hats on the coldest parts of the giant corpse. King wanted to come, but Eda had denied involving the little guy to participate. On the account that his cuteness would distract Luz from connecting with the Magic of the Titan.

"Does anyone live up here?" Luz asked. Noticing the long crumbling ruins of some kind of fortifications.

"Nope," Eda answered. "At least not for a long time. No, just the wildlife of the Titan. Like that thing!" Eda points over a depression at a large, white-furred creature with 4 clawed appendages with a big mouth that was currently gnawing on a tree. "The Slighterbest, a monster like no other on the Isles. They will tear you apart at the slightest provocation with no mercy. But, if left alone, they will not harm us."

"Just like every other world in the galaxy." Luz understood this and made it a habit to remind her soldiers on patrols. The beast apparently heard her as it stopped its chewing and turned to face her. Luz pushed out a calming aura through the Force to show it wasn't a threat before following Eda.

The two marched on till they stopped at a random outcropping. "This place looks good."

Looking around, they could see more ruins poking out of the snow-covered ground. Then Luz's sense danger in the Force! Turning to which the threat was coming from, she saw a ball of pinkish fire coming right towards them.

"Hit the deck!" Luz shouted as the two Owl House residents dove out of the way as the fireball flew over their heads and into a nearby tree.

"Sorry, who's ever up there?" shouted a familiar voice.

"Amity?"

The green hair teen came running up the hill at the sound of her name. Wearing a fur coat, thick leggings, furry mittens, and fluffy earmuffs. "Luz?! I'm so sorry!"

"Working hard on your fire magic, I see," Luz commented as she got up and brushed the snow off her.

"Yes, I'm going to use it to up my sibling's performance score on the exam." Said siblings then show up by their youngest side.

"Like that's going to happen," Edric said as he and Emira walked over and waved at Luz.

"Emira, Edric," she greeted the twins with a neutral tone. Not particularly happy to see them considering they left a children's book character turned monster that nearly put Amity and herself into becoming literal book characters.

"Hey there, Luz," they said in unison. "Oh, don't give us that sour puss face. You'll look like Mittens here." Emira said as she playfully pinched Amity's cheek. This caused Amity to push them away.

"They've been trying to be nice to me to make up for what happened at the library," Amity explained. "A bit protective also in some cases."

"You mean after I put them both in an arm lock and gave them a lesson in humility," Luz asked, making the twins wince and receiving a bark of laughter from Eda.

"Yes, that," Amity responded with a slight smile. "Feel free to do that again if you need to."

"Please don't," Edric responded.

"So, you're training up here as well?" Amity asked.

"Eda suggested it after seeing how behind I am in magic training."

At that moment, said Owl Lady came up behind her with a basket of snowballs in hand. "Luz, today we shall get you to connect with the nature of the world!"

Eda then hands one of the snowballs to Luz. Making the girl wonder why?

"What's with the snowballs?" Luz asked.

"The best way to commune with nature is to expose you to it with all your senses. First, you're going to eat the snow and eat the first sense of nature in you."

"...By eating a snowball?" Luz looked at her mentor, then back at the snowball in confusion. The Padawan had been on a few strange training experiences before, but none of her teachers made her eat snow before. Then again, she was learning magic and not Force techniques.

"Yep! Wild magic is more hands-on than what they teach in school. My methods are unorthodox, but it's the results that matter. By the time we're done training, you'll have no problem making any connections." Eda boastfully proclaimed.

The only Jedi of the demon realm couldn't argue about the unorthodox bit. So she took a small bite and felt the ice melt in her mouth.

"Is this how Witches used to learn magic?" Emira asked as she paid close attention to the lesson while the male twin copied Luz in tasting the snow.

"I guess." Luz chews the ice a bit. "How about we meet up later during a break or something?"

"Yeah… Good idea Luz. See you later." Amity said as she walked away with Em, reluctantly dragging her brother along.

"See you later, cutey!" Em said as they left.

"I still don't know how I feel about those two." After the Blights were out of sight, Eda began having her do several bazaar excesses to commune with the land. From smelling to identifying over a dozen different molds and feeling the texture of various twigs. To gaze intently into icicles and press her ear into rocks to try to listen to the Titan. While she trained, there were some moments where Luz's mind wandered around to certain things. Some of her home dimension with her clone troopers and their progress in freeing their brothers. There were still a couple of unknowns that she needed to deal with, like what the future will hold for them. Other thoughts went towards the Blight trio. She was undecided on the twins. Wrong first impressions notwithstanding, they seemed to want to get on her good side and were being a better sibling. Amity is another deal that she needed to address. Was she her enemy turned friend, kind of like what Azura did to her enemy? Or was she just someone Luz wanted to help? Then there's Willow and Gus. She could tell that the three of them were slowly becoming good friends as time went on. Made her wonder what the future would hold for them.

But back to the unusual training. It was actually not too bad, all things considered. It was like one of the unique lessons Luz and the other younglings had when they tried to learn the lessons Master Yoda and the other master's wanted to teach them.

Returning to the camp that Eda set up for them. Finding her sipping out of a cup, possibly apple blood, sitting on a log in front of a campfire.

"What's next, Eda? Oh, found your glove… With your hand inside." Luz tossed the severed hand over to the older Witch.

"Oh, thanks. I was wondering where that went." Eda places the limb back into place.

"I swear that's not natural," Luz muttered. She watches as Eda takes one big gulp of apple blood before looking at her student.

"Alright, kid, listen here. This last bit of training you seem more familiar with." She pointed at an undisturbed snow area that views over the land. "You are going to listen to the island and what it's trying to tell you."

Understanding what Eda was telling her, Luz walked over a spot of undisputed snow before bending down and sitting on her knees. This was a traditional method of meditation that Jedi used when they wanted to strengthen their connection with the Force. Doing this, she slowly opened herself to the island's unique Force signature.

The Magic of the Boiling Isles was something to behold. If Luz hadn't already developed a battle-sharpened mind, she could quickly lose focus and be lost to its incredible power.

Clearing her mind of distractions and letting the Force flow through her like a steady current. Luz saw what the Titan was. Life. Death. Balance.

Opening her eyes and seeing the view of the great Titan from her spot. The Jedi could see many specks of light in all places on the isles, from its forests and shifting landscapes to the mountain skull. As Grandmaster Yoda told her: the Force is within her and in all things. And as such is all on this world whether they be Witches or Demons.

Closing her eyes again and refocused on her meditation. Focusing on spell development and how it could be cast. Luz knows she can't cast magic like the inhabitants can with spell circles, so instead, she focuses on seeing patterns and shapes like with her light spell.

After a while of meditating and feeling through the Force, Luz let go a sigh in frustration at being unable to see anything.

"I'm missing something here. The Force is indeed strong here, but I'm not seeing anything coming to me. Haah, What am I missing?"

Luz then lazily gazes up at the stars showing above her. They showed brightly down on her with their presence through the night, making her slightly wonder what traveling through these stars would be like. Then she spots something particular.

A star constellation in front of her seemed to shine brighter than the others and made them stand out. They formed a pattern that seemed familiar to the point Luz couldn't help but gasp in the realization that was in front of her.

"The light glyph!" Luz pulls out some paper, draws the spell, and then holds it up for comparison. They matched up nearly perfectly with one another. "Well, I'll be a Wookie's aunt. That's how Witches figured it out. The sun brings light and life to the world it shines upon."

A relatively strong wind blows in and hits her face making her squint through the snow flurries that flew in her face. One landed on her eyelid, making her blink it away. Luz would rub it off when she saw one snowflake on her knuckle and grew curious. Looking closely at it, she saw a pattern within it that formed what looked like a glyph. It was a tall diamond with a smaller diamond below it, a horizontal line separating the two and another arcing in the back.

She drew the pattern out in the snow with a pointed finger, "the Force is within all things just as magic is everywhere," she taps the new glyph, and a small pillar of ice forms up out of the ground. Luz smiles with glee and begins to form a bigger one around her.

"Magic is everywhere!" Luz jumps on the newly discovered ice glyph and lunching the Jedi in the air by the fast-rising ice. Luz whooped as she flew through the cold air. When she neared the ground, she used the Force to disperse her landing. When making contact, Luz's feet slipped on the ice under the snow, making her fall into a roll in the snow till something stopped her. All the while giggling happily from discovering a new spell. She slowly got a hold of herself, but the smile stayed on.

"Grrrr..."

And good feeling went away as she turned to what stopped her and saw a row of teeth greeting her.

"Uh oh..." Luz said as she stood as still as possible at the sight of the Slighterbest slowly baring its fangs. "Easy now..."

Luz did her best to send a calming presence to the spooked animal through the Force. Hoping to show that she wasn't a threat. This did just that as the animal backed and gave the young Jedi a better look at it. Compared to the one she saw earlier, this one had to be a cub in size. Luz slowly held her hand out to where its nose would be and sniffed it. Then it slowly pressed against her palm.

"Well, aren't you a cutie?" Luz softly petted the snow-colored beast. The Slighterbest purred at the girl's genital touch.

From nearby in the tree line, Eda watched her apprentice with a proud smile. She kept a distance from the kid so she could do her thing with that strange power of hers. Now Luz had found a new spell to help support her in the future. But she got a bit worried when the Slighterbest cub, as the adults, were very protective of their young and never stray far. Fearing for Luz's safety, Eda slowly approached them.

"Kid!" Eda whispers loudly and catches the Jedi's attention.

"Eda?"

"Luz, I know you want to make friends with everyone, but we need to get out of here before Mama comes knocking," Eda said, hinting at the cub.

Luz understood the warning and bid farewell to the young predator.

"Welp, today has been a productive day."

"A trip to the Knee and a new spell under your belt. You did well, kid." Eda rubbed the teen's head.

"Thanks, Eda. I mean that. Learning magic, I would never have had this opportunity with the Jedi," Luz said sincerely.

"Hey, everything you did, you did it yourself."

A roar echoed the land, cutting off any further conversation. Turning to its direction, Luz was about to keep moving but realized it was coming from the direction where the Blights were training.

"Oh, no..." The two rushed through the forest towards the Blight encampment. Moving to the next clearing revealed the three Blights and thankfully unharmed. They all stood on one side of their camp while on the other side... an adult Slightherbeast.

"Oh boy, that thing looks pissed!" Eda stated the obvious as she readied her magic staff.

Luz could agree with that statement as the beast bared its fangs at them. It spotted some damage to its side like some tried to burn it. Taking a defensive position next to Amity, who held a wand in a shaky hand. "What's the situation here?"

"I may have it hit by accident with a stray blast of magic fire," Amity responded sheepishly. "Now Emira and Edric want to keep it as a pet."

"But look how cute he is?" The female twin responded.

The Slitherbeast roared again as it decided what to do and charged them. Amity responded by waving the wand to do a spell to send fire at it, only to make a sputtering sound instead.

Amity looked at the stick in worry. "Oh no, I must have used too much of the wand magic in training!"

"Don't worry, kids. Momma's got this!" Eda began withdrawing a big spell circle only to be interrupted when the Slightherbeast got too close and snatched the Witch up along with the twins. "Oh, guess I don't got this."

"Eda/Edric, Emira!" Luz and Amity cried out.

The two charged forward with the Witch pulling out some abomination goo and Luz activating her saber. The Slightherbeast responded with a sweep of its leg into the snow, sending a mini avalanche at them. Getting caught and partially buried in snow, the two struggled to dig themselves out while the predator left with its catch.

Amity used her abomination goo to push the snow away before turning to the Jedi. "Luz, you alright?" She asked, and her answer was Luz's head popping out like a weed in the snow.

"I'm fine. But I think I've had my fill with snow this evening." Amity assisted Luz up out of the snow. When Luz stood up, she imminently dubbed over and clenched one of her legs. "Ow."

Amity helped her to a seat and saw her left foot rolled out of place. "That doesn't look good."

"It's not." Amity helped Luz take off her boot and carefully set it aside. "Looks twisted, but it's not bad."

The Slightherbeast was nowhere in sight, which was a cause for concern for the two teens. "Where'd the others?" Luz asked.

"The Slightherbeast took them. We have to find them before it's too late!" Luz reached down and retrieved her lightsaber.

"Then we have no time to lose." Luz stood up to move, only for Amity to hold her down.

"NO! You're injured and need to stay off this leg so it can heal," Amity argued while the human waved her concerns off.

"I've fought in wars while in worse conditions than this before. Besides, you'll need help getting them out of trouble."

Amity blinked in confusion at that comment but refocused on the problem. "You can hardly walk with that leg!"

Luz looks at her foot for a moment, then pulls out a notepad and begins to draw an ice glyph. Amity looked at her, confused about why Luz was drawing her light spell before realizing she was drawing something else. Luz slaps the glyph to her ankle, and they watch as ice forms up around Luz's foot.

"Whoa..." Amity said.

Luz then helps herself up from her spot and stands up on the iced leg. "Should help with the swelling. Now let's go rescue our people." Before Amity could protest, Luz grabbed her hand and started dragging along. The act alone made the witch blush at the contact and felt the Jedi's callous hands.

Luz limped ahead of Amity as she tracked the animal to its lair, which wasn't difficult due to the size of the beast's tracks. They soon reach the end to reveal a large cave mouth. They got in close, hiding behind some trees near the cave mouth, peeking inside revealed the Slightherbeast and its three hostages. "There it is."

There stood the Slightherbeast, standing tall as it placed purple goo on its three victims before sticking them to the wall. They looked discussed as it turned its back on them and searched for something near it.

"Okay, they haven't been eaten yet. So, we have a chance." As she went over a plan she made up in her head, Luz said. "We need a diversion."

Amity agreed with that assessment. "Sounds good. I'm guessing I'm the one luring it away?"

"Normally, I would argue with you for that position," Luz grimaces as she looks at her ice-covered foot. "But my leg would slow me down too much, so I'll relinquish that responsibility to you. Mmm... this might be a good opportunity for you to practice the practical uses of the Force."

Amity blinked at the sudden topic change. "What?"

"When in need, the Force can be used to strengthen our bodies to limits unreached before. Use what I taught you to help escape the beast."

The Witch looked a bit skeptical at that. Nonetheless, Amity did volunteer herself for this. "Alright, I'll give it a shot."

The Jedi nodded. "Good, just be careful when leading it away."

"Don't worry, I will." With that finished, the two separated for their assigned tasks. Luz flanked the cave entrance while Amity stood in a spot to be easily seen by the snow beast. She picked up a decent size rock in her hand and threw it at the predator. "Hey ugly, chew on this!"

The rock flew and hit the Slightherbeast in its leg. The Slightherbeast growls and rushes towards Amity, making the girl run with the giant predator after her. While this went on, Luz ducks in and limps towards the three hostages.

"Luz!" Eda was the first to see her climb up with a smile, with the twins joining in. "Just in time. I was about ready to bust out of here while it would feast on the twins."

"What?!" Said twins verbally responded in shock.

"Don't worry. I'll get you out. Just hold still." Luz pulls her lightsaber and activates its yellow blade.

"Whoa," The twins said in unison at seeing the Jedi's signature weapon.

Luz ignored them and focused on carefully cutting them down. Within moments all three were freed from the goo and slime. A roar from outside signaled that Amity was still running interference for them.

While outside, Amity was starting to regret being bait. She summoned three abominations, and one after the other gets destroyed within moments against that thing. When it got close to swipe its claws at her, she would focus on running faster.

"Really should have thought this out more!" Amity said in a panic as she weaved around some trees to lose its trail. The Slightherbeast just plowed through them. In her panic, the teen Witch didn't realize till the last second that she had reached the Knee's edge that led down a steep drop. "Oh, no."

She turned around and saw the Slightherbeast approaching her with it baring its fangs.

This made Amity step back and nearly fall off the edge.

Looking at Slightherbeast getting ready to pounce, a moment accrued. "Is this how I die?"

Her prescription seemed to slow down to a crawl as her mind raced with multiple thoughts. Memories of her life flew by. The times she played with her siblings to summon her first abomination. The memorable time she had with Willow to the end. Then her meeting with Luz and the world that opened to her. The Force.

Jump

An instinct. A command. A random thought. It didn't matter which but simply did.

The strange energy flowed fast in her body before her legs bent just as the Slightherbeast pounced.

And Amity jumped.

Her body did what it wanted while her mind felt like a passenger along for the ride. Amity cleared over the animal and landed in the snow with her legs spaced evenly. The Slightherbeast didn't have time to correct itself before it flew off the edge and into the water below. It roared as it fell before making a big splash into the boiling sea.

Amity just felt winded as she gazed down at herself. "Whoa… Did I do that?"

"That you did."

The Witch spun around to see Luz, Eda, and the twins standing not too far away. Her siblings had godsmack looks of disbelief as they looked at her. The Owl Lady looked surprised at what she did while Luz vibrated with excitement. Before Amity could say anything, she was tackled with a hug by the Jedi.

"You did it, Amity! You made the connection to the Force! I'm so proud of you!" Luz said. Amity's face began to heat up from the close contact the human was holding her in. She slowly broke the hug and recomposed herself.

"Yes, well... It was thanks to your introduction to the Force that I could do that. Thank you for this. The connection and the potential are unreal."

"You've now taken another step to a bigger world. I hope to show you more in the future."

"After what I just did? I am so there," Amity said in excitement.

"AH CHOO!" Eda suddenly sneezes and ends the moment. "Alright, that's it for me today. The adorable moment you two have going is going to make me sick. Let's head home."

"Alright, Eda." Luz rolls her eyes at her teacher's antics before focusing back on Amity. "See you at school?"

"Looking forward to it this year," Amity smiles back.

Stepping away from the Blights, Luz draws a giant ice glyph in the snow and stands next to her teacher. The spell activated, and a pillar of ice sent the two through the sky, cheering in excitement as they disappeared beyond the treetops.

The Blight's watched in silence as they watched them go.

"We'll go the normal way," Emira decided, with the other two agreeing.

OMAKE- Motherly instinct

Luz flops down on her bed with a sigh. Today's events at the Knee were tiring, especially after saving Eda and Amity's siblings from being dinner to a Slighterbeast. After connecting with the Titan again, getting a twisted ankle, and finding the pattern for the ice glyph, Luz was content with going to bed and sleeping in tomorrow. Feeling the now-familiar presents of the King snuggling up against her feet, she drifted off to sleep.

The weightless feeling of sleep felt blissful in her bed, as she became ignorant to the world around her.

In her dreams, Luz was riding her speeder bike down a mountain, avoiding rocks and cliff hangers that would quickly lead over to one's death. The thrill and danger had been a guilty pleasure during the war. Often when there was no planetary campaign or battle, Luz and her troops would conduct races between the Regimens for bragging rights and call them "exercises."

Reaching the bottom of the dream mountain, Luz felt a disturbance just before two big, clawed feet landed on either side of her. Her eyes darted side to side in quick panic before looking up to see the feathery form of the Owl Beast smiling down on her.

That alone jolted Luz out of her sleep, and she saw that Eda's curse formed over her.

"Oh, no." Luz's eyes widen in fear as the Owl Beast grabs her before she can react. "Eda! Wake up!"

Her cries fall on deft ears as Eda drags her across the ground through the Owl House. It wasn't long when Eda dropped her on a pile of sticks that Luz felt was given a breather to think. Looking around, Luz became confused that she found herself in Eda's bedroom and in her nest.

A shadow cast over Luz, and she had just enough time to look up before Owl Beast dropped her body right down and pinned her against the unusual bedding.

The Jedi could barely move under the warm fluffy feathers to get her head out so she could breathe clearly. Looking up, she saw that the Owl Beast had just made herself comfortable on top of her as she purred slightly. Confused at what it was doing, Luz went over everything she could think of about birds.

Eda's form was basically a giant bird of predator origin.

It had taken her out of her room and thrown into Eda's nest.

It was now pinning her down with its body and didn't look like it was moving anytime soon. That left one conclusion…

"She's brooding. She must think of me as her baby chick!" Luz deduces.

A slight warmth fills Luz's chest as what was essentially Eda's inner demon has it sees her as its baby. If that was the case, then whatever danger Luz was in was voided, and she decided to submit to the demon's demands. At least the feathers were soft.

Come morning as the sun shined down on them. Eda woke up with a massive yawn before curling up against something warm. She had a decent night's sleep for the first time in a long time, and dang did it feel good.

"That was a good night. Wonder what caused it?" Eda muttered happily in bliss.

"Gee, I wonder why…."

The snarky and groggy female tone woke Eda faster than the stinkiest cup of apple blood available. Her eyes snapped open, and she saw the warm thing she was snuggling with was her human apprentice. Eda scrambles away and looks at the human with a stern look.

"Luz, what are you doing in my nest?!" Eda demanded of her kid. The human sat up and bent her back to release a refreshing pop, getting the girl to relieve a happy sigh. Then she explained.

"Sometime during the night, you transformed into the Owl Beast and kidnapped me from my room. Then your beast self threw me in your nest before sitting and pinning me in place." Luz's explanation and got an embarrassing blush from the older Witch.

"Oh, Titan…" She said with a groan.

"By the way, did you know you shift in your sleep?"

Omake: Race you out to the ball game.

Gus and Willow stood side by side in awe as their resident human showcased her ride hovering off the ground.

Earlier, they had missed the bus ride to the Grudge be game while Luz looked in the schools lost and found in search for some school clothes that showed some schools' pride. When she came out, it was just when the school bus left, leaving Luz, Willow, and Gus behind. When she asked why they stayed behind while everyone else left, they replied that they didn't want to leave her behind. Luz felt touched by the friendship they showed, but now they wondered how they would get to the game as it was being held on the other side of the Titan. Willow did offer up the idea of asking one of her dads to fly them over with their magic staffs, but they both were at work today. That got Luz thinking about using Eda's staff Owlbert, but Eda would be angry with her for doing so, then she remembered there are alternatives to magic staffs.

This brings the three back to the present at the Owl house, with Luz showing off her recently completed BARC speeder bike with her two Witchy friends ogling it.

When Luz towed it out, they couldn't help but be in awe at something human-made that could float on its own without the use of magic.

"Oh my gosh! This thing looks incredible." Gus said as he and Willow got up close for a better look.

"This, my friends, is called a speeder bike. The people in my realm use this for transport like Witches use their magic staffs. With this, we'll be cheering at the game in no time." Luz climbed on and patted seat space behind her. Willow and Gus hoped on with the illusionist looking excited and the plan girl looking worried.

"Are you sure this thing is safe?" Willow asked.

"Positively, I've been riding these things for years. We'll get there in no time." Luz responded as she keyed in the ignition and accelerated the trio through the woods.

*Later*

The three sped to a stop next to the Hexside bus and parked.

"Okay, we're here!" Luz announced happily. Feeling good after riding her bike again. Her two passengers, on the other hand…

"Land!" Willow said as she flopped down to the dirt and kissed it happily. Gus slowly got off the bike and stood on shaky legs.

Luz saw them and was confused. "What? It wasn't that bad."

"…That was faster than any staff," Gus drew out before smiling brightly. "It was so fun! Especially when we flew through that hive of fire bees. Or disrupted those manticores."

Hello 2022!

I'm back to posting another chapter! Sorry for the wait people. With work at the location, I'm in and the lack of Wi-fi around me it gets tought to write and post stuff. I was trying to get this out by Christmas but I kept getting last minute writers block and going back to re-write some scenes in this that didn't seem to connect to Star Wars the same way I wanted it to.

Let's get to the heart of the chapter, Amity learning the Force from Luz is happening. I've been planing for such a thing fro a bit. Its all part of the plan for the future I have going for Jedi Luz on the future of the Boiling Isles. Stick around to find out more.

We also get more glimpses of Luz's past from both during and post Clone Wars. When I started this Fic I didn't even think about doing something like this before. Now, I may be doing this every chapter as it's been so fun to write about Luz's past as I think helps her character and shows what kind of Jedi Luz is in the eyes of the other Jedi.

As for the OMAKE's one is my version of a comic strip done by "Morning Mark" in motherly Owl. He dose such awesome work. The second was basicly my virsion of "Escape the Palesman" Episode. Along with "Once upon a swap" and "Sense and Insensitivity." The swap I wouldn't even know how to attack that chapter while Insensitvity was somewhat cringy to me in cannon.

Anyway! Good to post something again. Sorry for any errors on my part as I good chunck of this was rushed to get it out here. Let me know what you think.

And check out the TV trops
