This is right after Hell Hath No Fury but just before Enter The Demon...
At the Social Service Office
"Help... help..." Daniel said, as he held his head. The endless whispers of all those around him killing his psyche. "Please.. " the strain of whispers and gray energy filling the world around him. He was crushed, from the outside.
"Hey, are you okay?" He looked up, and felt pure light oozing off a woman in front of him. She was pretty, with soft eyes and brown hair... and he saw a blue and white energy oozing off of her in waves. She reached toward him, to grab his hand. He shook his head, but before he could stop her touch, their hands met and he almost cried as soothing energy flowed into him. The magic within her made the whispers fainter and less erratic, the pain less intense.
Knowing filled him, slipping in as he heard her inner voice. "What's a Charmed one?"
She recoiled. "How?" Fearful whispers echoing in her heart, loudly dancing around his head.
"I can hear it, the whispers of others... your thoughts, your whispers. I heard you call yourself a Charmed One."
Her eyes widened. "I think you might be a witch... I'll call my sisters." Images of powerful woman, strong with potent powers, filled her head and his as well. 'Piper and Phoebe need to hear this.'
And like that, Daniel knew that everything would be okay... even as her fear filled his soul. "Thank you... Paige."
She turned, nodding softly. "We are going to help you, I promise."
And like that he, shivering, turned his eyes upward... focusing on Paige's power seemed to help, considerably, so that is what he did. Her gentle aura of strength, the blue and white light that was her presence.
Soon, within an hour, two other women walked in, their auras mighty and filled with potent thought. One a maternal force, the other a maelstrom of emotion. Both filled with pain, loss and doubt. Thoughts filled them both, and he knew things about them. Thoughts so close to the surface he could not help but feel and hear them.
They kneeled by him, smiling. "Hi there." The older, maternal one spoke.
"I am so sorry, Piper..." She recoiled. "I can feel your sorrow, Prue's loss lingers in your heart... but I can feel her love, her eyes are still on you." He pulled her into a hug, that she returned with her strong arms. " Life has been so unkind to you... all of you."
She nodded, before pulling back. "What is your name?" 'Can he hear thoughts, read minds... what is going on here?'
"Daniel... and, yes, I can hear your thoughts. It's usually just dull, painful whispers, but touch makes it clearer. I can feel auras, see things about people. Paige, I can blue lights around her, mixed with sparkling white energy." He focused on Piper. "I can see those sparkling lights around you two as well... you and Phoebe."
She nodded, her mind oddly open to him. More so than most really. "I think you might be a witch... we can help you."
"Yes, you can... but can you help me live? I have no job, my powers make working hard. I have no home. I have no family or coven..." He tipped his head to the side, seeing images oozing out of Piper's mind. "I could help with your bar, you are right. Gram's sowing room would be a good room for me... I am a fast learner, I could help around the house."
She gaped. "That is kind of annoying."
"Try being me, every door in every mind always open... the whispers, like when Prue was an Empath." he saw that, the gorgeous Prue almost breaking under the strain. "I won't shatter under this weight... you won't let me. You are too good for that."
Phoebe nodded this time. "How did you end up on streets?"
He sighed. "I am gay, my parents kicked me out and then my powers kicked in. I have been trying to find help, but people though I was mentally ill... I... I needed help, and no one helped."
"Well, we are here now." Piper started. "You are right, we won't let you break... now..."
"What are you doing?" The tall black man, Paige's boss, walked over.
Daniel smiled. "They are helping. Piper owns a bar, she needs help. I can get employment. Maybe go to college. They agreed to let me stay with them, Paige knew that her newly found sisters love helping others more than anything. She knew they could help me."
The man turned to Paige, who nodded. "Holistic care is everything. Having a family, friends and employments... a place to stay. That will help him."
"Plus, her family has the same history of migraines I do, they know ways to manage." Daniel started.
Piper stood. "Our sister Prue had migraines lot, I mentioned it to Paige. She thought we would be a good way to help."
The man nodded. " Fine... good work Paige."
