Chapter 11: The Report
Anakin, Obi Wan, and Shaak Ti would all be standing in front of the Jedi Council as they were all on the Jedi council room. With all the masters taking attendance as Mace Windu would start as he asked, "Skywalker are you sure the one you encounter was Tan Yuster." With Anakin looking up at Mace as he replied "Yes it was. I couldn't tell until the battle was over." All the Master of the council would then look all at each other as they whispered amongst their selves. Shaak Ti would then interrupt as she would say with all the jedi council now looking at her "I was there to I can conform it was Tan Yuster." With Obi Wan nodding as he would also say "Yes I see it too." All the jedi would go back to conversing with themselves as the three Jedi look on in the middle of the council room. Ki-Adi-Mundi would then speak up as he asked, "And why do you think Tan attacked you?" With Obi Wan answering "We are not sure why. But from what Anakin told me. Tan had told Anakin he had turned to the dark." Yoda would be reading Anakin as Yoda used the force to see what happened, Yoda would feel something blocking him as he tried even harder to probe Anakin mind of the event. Yoda would eventually see it as Anakin and Tan battled as then Yoda would speak up with "It's the truth. Skywalker I can see it in." With all the jedi then staring at Yoda as he continued "Darkness is rising. The dark side will reveal itself soon. And we must fight it when it comes." With all the jedi nodding knowing Yoda was right. Yoda then saying "Skywalker go you can. Talk amongst our selves we must." Anakin would look over at both Shaak Ti and Obi Wan with them both nodding allowing Anakin to leave as Anakin would then look back at Yoda as he bowed while saying "Yes Master Yoda." Anakin would then walk out the Jedi Council room with Shaak Ti looking at Anakin as she didn't see that translucent form of Barriss shadowing him anymore. But then get startled at Yoda who was watching her as Yoda then said, "Master Ti alright you are?" Shaak Ti would shake her head as she would reply as she said "Oh yes sorry had something on my mind. But I am here now." Yoda looking more concerned, but Mace Windu would interrupt as he said, "Do you think Tan turn has something to do with the Separatist Crisis?" Yoda putting his hand on his chin as he would reply "Maybe, the dark side clouds everything hard to see the future is."
As the masters start to leave the council meeting Shaak Ti would walk out to the hall and towards where Luminara is as Shaak Ti would call out "Master Unduli may I have you time for a moment?" Luminara would then stop as she looked back at Shaal Ti while saying, "Yes Master Ti what is it?" As Shaak Ti would finally reach Luminara where she would ask "Your Padawan Barriss, have you noticed anything unusual around her lately." Luminara would look confused while saying "My Padawan… No, nothing really. Why?" Shaak Ti now somewhat mad at her response as she asks, "Are you sure?" Luminara would turn away as she was about to leave while saying "No, only that she has a love thing as she keeps talking about love. That's it but I am trying to train her not to love and grow attainments." Shaak Ti thinking as she would put her hand on her chin would say "Okay thanks for the information." As she continued to think as she thought is Barriss the balancer. With Luminara now off in her own direction Shaak Ti would then head to her quarters as she walked towards her room, she thought she would go there to meditate on the situation and how to solve it.
Anakin would be walking back to his room as he was remembering Tan's last words as he said to himself "You better love her." Also thinking to himself as to what it means when suddenly he would see Barriss pacing back and forth in front of the doo to Anakin's room. "Barriss?" Anakin would then ask as he would then startle her as she jumped from where she was standing. Then looking over at Anakin with a big smile as she jumps into Anakin's arms hugging him as he hugged her back feel his warm embrace she would say "Anakin your alright!" Anakin confused as he continues to hug her as he would say "Ya I am alright Barriss." As Barriss then looked up at Anakin has she then said, "I heard you fought with Tan." Anakin now releasing Barriss as he would reply "Yes, we fought. He turned to the dark." Barriss shocked as she thought about what Anakin just said as she would then say, "He what?" Anakin then going into his room as he then replied to her, "I don't know how this happened. He just attacked me." He had no idea how it happened, but Barriss knew it had something to do with him, how Tan went after Anakin all the time she thought to yourself as Anakin smiled at her. It was an expression that she had never seen before. Anakin smiled as he thought her face was so soft, so beautiful. And yet so sad. "I'm so sorry, Anakin. This is not what I had hoped for. Please I know it is, but it thinks I know why he attacked you." she whispered, her eyes now full of tears. Barriss then turned and walked to where Anakin's room sat. As she walked by Anakin she would hug him again, as one of her tears slid down Anakin's' cheek. Barriss then pulling back "I am sorry about that." Anakin brushing it off as he said "It's okay. You don't have to ever be sorry Barriss." Both would then sit on Anakin's bed as Barris said will that's weird two of our classmates have passed out now." Ankin shocked "Two?" he would ask as he looked over at Barriss confused. Barriss would say "well Tarados Gon ship was shot over Falleen two weeks ago and now I hear it fell to the Separatist so we can't even check for the bodies" Anakin now paralyzed from what he heard as Barriss then continued "Can't believe it first Tarados dies and now Tan turned to the dark side before dying as well. I am scared it will happen to us Anakin." Anakin putting his hand on her shoulder as he said "It won't as long as we have each other. We will be fine and if we lose each other. We will find our way back to each other. I know it Barriss." Barriss putting a big smile on her face as she replies "Yes. Thank you Anakin I love you." As she then jerks away from Anakin pulling his hand away as she totally regrets the last three words she just uttered out. "What does love mean to you, Barriss?" Anakin asked softly, an earnest expression on his face as he looked at her. Barriss thought for a moment before answering. "To me, love is when you are able to put someone else's needs and desires above your own and care deeply for them. It's when you can't imagine life without them." Anakin smiled and nodded. "That's exactly what it means to me too." He leaned in and whispered in her ear, "And that's how I feel about you as well." Barriss blushed and grinned. The two of them stayed up late that night, talking and laughing about their favorite things and life.
Master Yoda would be sitting in his spot in the council room with Obi Wan being the last to leave but get stop by Yoda as Yoda said, "Obi Wan a word please?" Obi Wan would stop as his turned back to walk over to Yoda while saying "What is it, Master?" Master Yoda would pull out the chosen one prophecy as he then said, "I will show you the prophecy now and what it says." Master Yoda's ancient eyes closed, half-lidded in concentration, as he read the prophecy "A Chosen One will come, to guide the Jedi Order and the Force through a new era of peace. He will be gifted beyond all others and will bring an end to the Sith." Yoda then was visibly taken aback as Obi Wan noticed as he would ask "But Master Yoda, it doesn't say anything about a Balancer. Is there a way to identify the one who has been chosen to be the balancer?" Yoda would open his eyes and peered at Obi Wan. 'Ahh, a question I believe I can answer. Obi Wan, the Chosen One will be the one who knows the Force and is capable of wielding it in a way that others cannot. He will sense things, things that no one else can, and will be able to see pathways where other's vision is clouded. The Chosen One will be a master of the Force and will be able to use its powers to bring peace to the Universe. For that means the Balancer must be able to do the same and must have a connection with the chosen one." Obi Wan remained still, letting Yoda's words soak into his pores. Then he nodded in understanding. 'Thank you, Master Yoda. I think I might know who it might be." Yoda now intrigued would ask "Who?" Obi Wan looking at Yoda as he figured out it while saying "Barriss!" Yoda eyes would open wider as he then said, "Yes it makes sense now." Obi wan then asking back "What?" Yoda then turning away "Not sure yet but will let you know when I do." Obi wan then getting up as he starts to leave the room while saying "Okay Master Yoda and may the force by with you. With Yoda nodded sagely as he would reply "May the Force be with you, Obi Wan."
Lord Sidious and Count Dooku found themselves aboard a secret station hidden deep within the outer rim. The station, known only to a select few, served as a clandestine meeting place for the most powerful and influential figures in the galaxy. As the two Sith Lords walked through the dimly lit corridors of the station, their cloaks billowing behind them, they could feel the tension in the air. The upcoming clone wars, a conflict that would shape the destiny of the galaxy, loomed ominously on the horizon. Lord Sidious, his face hidden beneath a dark hood, turned to Count Dooku and spoke in a low, commanding voice. "Was it a Success?" Count Dooku then replied, "Yes and this time he was a success as he kept his force abilities unlike Grievous." Lord Sidious would grin as he the said in a commanding voice "Good, then the time has come, my apprentice. The war we want is upon us. We must ensure our victory and establish our dominion over the galaxy." Count Dooku, a towering figure with piercing eyes, nodded in agreement. "Indeed, my Lord. The Jedi will be caught off guard, and their precious Republic will crumble under the weight of our power." As they reached the heart of the secret station, Lord Sidious motioned for Count Dooku to join him at a holographic display. The display flickered to life, revealing a hologram of countless clone troopers, ready to be unleashed upon the galaxy. "Our army is nearly ready," Lord Sidious said, his voice filled with a malevolent glee. "With these clones at our disposal, victory is assured. The Jedi will fall, and the Sith will rise." Count Dooku's eyes gleamed with anticipation. "The Jedi will never see it coming. Their arrogance will be their downfall." As Lord Sidious and Count Dooku continued to discuss their plans, their voices filled the secret station, echoing through the corridors. The fate of the galaxy hung in the balance, and the stage was set for the epic clash between the forces of light and darkness. Little did they know, their actions would set in motion a chain of events that would shape the destiny of the galaxy for generations to come.
Time lapse will happen for the next chapter as this next chapter will be taking place when Attack of the Clones starts. As this will be a lot different from both legends and Canon storyline. But again, just letting you know Barriss is Legends Barriss where she is only a year younger than Anakin and was in the same class as Anakin when they were younglings. Not the Canon where they made Barriss Ashoka's age and her friend which never made sense to me as she was in attack of the clones her legends age and then all a sudden, she is Ashoka age in Disney's Star Wars. But anyways check out next Monday for the next chapter.
