Much like Danny's tour in Tremorton, Jenny was shown all the places that Danny would go to and some other places he and his friends would hang out. While Amity Park was not as advanced as Tremorton, Jenny could tell it had its own charm. Tucker tried to ask Jenny a bit about herself, but Sam pulled him back before he could get carried away. However, the one thing that she disliked was how well Danny and Jenny got along. She knew that Danny had met Jenny twice before, but something felt off with her.
"So you dream about going to space?" Jenny asked, after hearing Danny's plan for growing up.
"Yeah. I know there's a lot out there. I want to be able to find new things." He said, smiling.
"I'm sure you will. I have been out there a few times myself." Jenny said.
"REALLY?" Danny asked, surprised.
"Mostly to deal with threats that came to attack or destroy Earth, but sometimes I take a moment to look out at the stars and let my troubles and worries wash away," Jenny said.
"Sound peaceful," Danny said, making Jenny nod.
Sam tried not to growl before clearing her throat.
"So, besides saving the world, what else do you do?" Sam asked.
"Well, I do try out some fashion from time to time," Jenny said, thinking.
"Um, how? You're a robot?" Tucker asked.
Jenny started by changing her pigtails into different hairstyles, shocking them. She then forms her body into different "clothes", shocking them more.
"I was able to one-up the Crust Cousins a few times until they decided to go with thinner fashion. Which I let get to me and had all of my weapons and most of my body removed. Learned my lesson after that." Jenny said, changing back to normal.
"Tell me about it. While this might not be the same, there was this one time I got invited to a party because Dash invited my sister. I was happy about it at first and seemed to get along with everyone at school. However, I later learned Jazz was never going and Dash forgot to tell me that he had changed the dress code. I quickly went from being the well-liked person to the same boy that everyone treated me like. Since then, I never got excited when Dash or Paulina threw another party." Danny told her.
Jenny was surprised to hear that. And hearing that his sister was never going to go and had her brother be invited anyway?
"Before you asked, yes, I told Jazz about it and how mad I was at her to use me to get Dash off her back. She apologized and promised to never do that again. So far, she's keeping her word." Danny said.
"Dude, you forgot to tell her that you left us in the dust," Tucker said, frowning.
"I did apologize. Besides, wouldn't you guys do the same if you were in my shoes?" Danny told him.
"No," Sam said, but both of her friends rolled their eyes.
"Sam, if there was a Goth party going on and you were the only one invited, you would be so into it that you would ignore us until you learn it's not what you think." Danny pointed out.
Sam looked surprised and wanted to deny it. Sadly, she couldn't find the words. Tucker sighed, knowing Danny was right.
"Fine," They said.
Jenny smiled a bit, seeing how close they were. However, the moment was broken when Jenny picked up some trouble.
"Trouble!" She said, getting ready.
Danny saw his ghost sense appear, picking up on the trouble Jenny did.
"Sorry to cut this short..." She started.
"Hey, it's cool. Amity Park is known for their ghost attacks. We're used to it." Danny told her, knowing he had to help her as Phantom.
"Really? Besides Brad and Tuck, no one seems to understand why she had to rush to save the day. However, the trouble couldn't wait and she flew off. Danny sighs before facing his friends.
"I better go help her." He said, looking ready to go ghost.
"Are you sure? From what you told us, she can handle herself." Sam said.
"Sam, we get ghosts. She mostly fights aliens. They're not the same. From what she told me, she never fought another ghost before. So, she's going to need all the help she can get." Danny told her.
Sam was surprised and Danny turned into his ghost form before flying after Jenny. Tucker shook his head, knowing what was happening.
"Sam, you can't be seriously jealous about Danny liking a teenage robot." He said.
"I'm not jealous!" Sam shouted.
A bit later,
Jenny flew over the town trying to find the trouble she picked up. She had to remind herself that this wasn't Tremorton. She couldn't pick anything up on her scanners.
"Nice going, Jenny. You don't have a lot of options when it comes to fighting ghosts." She said to herself.
"Jenny!"
She turned and saw Danny Phantom flying up to her, surprising her.
"Phantom! I completely forgot that this was your turf." Jenny said, faceplaming herself.
"It's cool. Any luck with the ghost?" He asked.
"No, I don't have any way to track them," Jenny said, looking down.
"Don't worry. Most of the time the ghosts come after me. Since I'm here, they should show themselves." Danny said, looking around.
Sure enough, some ghosts appeared but none of them were his old enemies.
"It's been a while since I had these kinds of ghosts appear," Danny said, standing ready.
"Anything I should know?" Jenny asked, moving next to him.
"I'm not sure how much your weapons will affect ghosts, but these are more like the minions. Shouldn't be too bright, but be careful." Danny told her.
"Got it!" Jenny said before the ghosts charged at them.
Danny had no problem fighting them off. Jenny, on the other hand, had some trouble. While Danny was right about them not being too bright, some did learn they could phase through her attacks. Some thought about trying to overshadow her but found themself confused about her body. Jenny was able to fight them off, feeling her insides were all weird.
"Overshadowing. All ghosts share that trait. You're lucky that these ghosts can't control you. But there are a few that might be able to. Remind me to send you a list of my enemies." Danny told her.
"I should leave this to you then," Jenny said, sighing.
"Are you kidding? Jenny, you let me help you fight off one of your enemies. Do you think I'm going to let you stand on the sidelines? Take this as a learning experience." Danny told her.
Jenny sighed, glad to see that he still wanted her help. The ghosts kept attacking them, but Danny and Jenny were able to deal with them. Danny pulled out the Fetnon Thermos and caught all of them before they could run off.
"Well, that takes care of that," Danny said, smiling.
"What's that?" Jenny asked, pointing to the theroms.
"Oh, this is something my...I mean, the Fentons made. They call it the Fenton Thermos. It was made to capture and hold ghosts." Danny said.
"Really? What do you do with them?" She asked.
"I always return them to the Ghost Zone. It's the home of all ghosts. Expect for me. I don't like living in there." Danny said, sighing.
"What's it like?" Jenny asked.
"Weird. Nothing but green skies and floating doors. There are a few islands that float there called lairs. The Ghost Zone is huge too. I don't think I'll be able to explore it all." Danny told her.
"Huh, that is weird," Jenny said.
"And another thing I learned during my time as a hero. The Ghost Zone and the Earth are linked. If one side is destroyed, so is the other. So by protecting the Ghost Zone, I'm also protecting the Earth." Danny said.
"And it the same backward," Jenny said, placing it together.
"That's right. just don't expect to have some of them help you. I have more enemies than friends in there." Danny told her.
"How many?" She asked.
"I can list off the amount of allies I have," Danny said, surprising her.
"That many...got it," Jenny said, nodding.
They soon heard voices, but unlike with Tremorton, there were angry yells instead of cheering. Jenny remembers that Amity Park treats Danny the same way Tremorton treats her. Not wanting to have this town mistreat him anymore, Jenny flew down before Danny could stop her.
"So, that's how you want to treat him?" She asked, shocking a few of them.
"He goes out of his way to stop the ghosts, and instead of being thankful, you blame him for the attack? DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU HEAR!" Jenny shouted.
Many residents flinched at the voice of Jenny's voice, but some glared at her.
"Well, here's a fact. I'm from Tremorton and I'm treated the same way as him! And yet, I still go out of my way to ensure my home is still standing! Phantom is treated as a hero there!" Jenny told them.
Many people were shocked. Jenny shook her head, wondering why everyone was so quick to believe everything they were told.
"Look, this is my first time in Amity Park, but it's not my first time meeting Danny Phantom! He once came to my home because a ghost showed up there. We chatted and hung out for a bit. I also support his hero career because I'm a hero too!" Jenny told them.
"He's not a hero!"
"Is he?! I looked into the so-called crimes he committed! I saw things that you OVERLOOKED!" Jenny shouted, making many of them look at her in confusion.
"The robberies, his eyes were red. In every other picture he's shown up, that had color, his eyes were green. There was no other sign of him having red eyes. We checked!" Jenny said, narrowing her eyes.
"Your last mayor was held prisoner by him, but you didn't look at the hands! You also forgot the mayor didn't even remember meeting him! Phantom was not holding the mayor. IT WAS THE OTHER WAY AROUND!" Jenny shouted, making many people back away.
"Look, it's already bad enough that the Fentons refuse to believe they are wrong about ghosts, but if this town is so quick to believe that Phantom is the source of all the attacks, then maybe he should let the ghosts hurt everyone! Maybe he should leave it to the hunters who might not care about harming people to stop one ghost! Maybe he should stop the hero business and leave everyone to their fates. IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT?!" Jenny told them.
Everyone went quiet at that. Jenny could read some of the people's faces, many liking the idea of Phantom quitting while some looked unsure. Jenny sighs before bringing up one last thing.
"Tell me, has anyone died during these attacks?" She asked.
That caused the whole town to look shocked. NO ONE has died since Phantom appeared. Lots of times, Phantom warns everyone to get to safety before fighting the ghosts. He even saved a few should the ghost try to attack them.
"And if your so-called mayor tries to turn my words against me, I will not stay quiet. Danny Phantom is a hero. He wants to protect you because it's his obsession! It's the main thing that drives him! And if you all treat him like he's a villain, then he'll never move on! He's doing his best but you all don't notice! I'm doing my best back home and yet everyone treats me the same way! We both want to live our lives how we want them to be, but no one seems to care because they believe us to be a mistake or evil because of what we are!" Jenny said, shaking her head.
"You know, I have some human friends who told me one of the world's greatest rules. A rule that some called the GOLDEN RULE." Jenny said, glaring at the people.
"Treat others the way YOU want to be treated."
In an instant, everyone froze. Deep in their minds, they could feel the quiet part of their brains speak up. Fulling their heads with the things they ignored. Phantom was trying to treat them as people because he wanted to be treated as a person. But they weren't treating him like one. By continuing to treat him as a ghost, they were setting themselves up to be treated like one as well. Because that's how Phantom would treat them if they kept doing so.
Jenny sighs before flying back up to Phantom.
"Sorry about that." She started.
"No, it's alright," Danny said, knowing she was defending him.
He then flew down to the people before taking a breath.
"She's right, you know." He said, surprising everyone.
"There have been times I wanted to quit, and just go back to being a everyday teenager. Lots of the time was due to how you all treated me. But the reason I didn't was because I'm a hero. A hero never forsakes the people that they saved. I'm saving this town because I want to. I'm trying my best but you all don't see it that way. If this is how you see me, then how do you think I feel about that?" Danny asked.
"And, yes, ghosts do have feelings," Danny added.
Danny then flew back up to Jenny. With that, the two teens flew away, leaving the people to think about what they were told.
And going to stop here. I was starting to run out of things to write and felt like this was a good place to stop. So, much like Danny's tour in Tremorton, Jenny's tour was a bit quick, but it did take a while for Danny to show her the sights. They had another team up, and Jenny stood up for Danny after how the town treated him. And yes, I plan on doing the same in Tremorton with Danny standing up for Jenny. But that will be later.
Is anyone else tired of seeing the Email error message pop up every time you go to this site or a different page? With how long it's taking to fix, seeing that we do have the site they want us to add in our Yahoo mail and Gmail, I'm starting to think that it's being ignored and it goes to cost some of you to leave Fanfiction if it's not fixed. Again, I can't file a report to the people in charge because I don't have any way to reach them. I know about their Tweet page, but I don't use it.
