Hello everyone, Not really anything to say here.
The Pilots experienced something new, Certainly.
A Tumbling sensation as if they were rolling down a steep hill had befallen them, The Helicopter itself was not tumbling, but the portal was making it seem that way. It took a full minute for the feeling to subside.
"Ughh...My head, and Body..."A Pilot said, their sense of Normality returning to them
"Agg-HOLY MOTHERA-"The Other said, Cut off the Rapidly approaching Sea-Stack
Jerking hard on the stick, The Pilot manages to save the Helicopter just before it hit's, and the UH-1 manages to Climb into the air before hovering around 1,200 Feet in the air.
"That was close"One Pilot Muttered.
"Where too?"The Other said
They looked into the Distance, Spotting a Distant Island with Three Mountains Jutting against the Horizon
"I'd guess there."A pilot said, not really Knowing anywhere else to go in this situation, but back.
"Are we sure that's where we want to go?" He asked, the other pilot nods at the UH-1 begins to move forward.
"Are the Scientific Instruments working correct?" He asked the other pilot.
The Other Pilot looks behind him and checks a small screen, which read 'all system's normal'.
"Yes, They are" The Pilot said looking back in front of him out of the cockpit's window.
"Good, how about the radio, can we contact them from here?"He asked, The Other Pilot checks the radio and speaks into it.
"This is AE7, We have transferred successfully. Please Respond if you get this message, Over." He said.
After a Long while of wait, they got the response.
"AE7, This is the Spurance, We hear you loud and clear, over." Came the voice on the other Pilot's Breathe a Sigh of Relief as they now no they have help.
'We have confirmed there is a other side and it appears to be habitable, over."The pilot said, Relived.
"AE7, your transmission has been noted, we have also sent in a Sonar Buoy which has also gone through, we are getting returns now..."The Voice on the other end said. "AE7, Your appear to have a Island 9 Nautical Miles away from the portal, I Suggest you scout and report, you have plenty of Fuel and the Island is not that should not be a hard job"The Transmission said.
"Copy that" The Pilot said.
The Radio buzzed again.
"AE7, we appear to have Detected some ship's only a Few Kilometers away"The Radio said."Sonar read's them as slightly smaller than a destroyer, No, Quite a bit smaller actually"The Radio paused, then spoke again."I would suggest not going near them, as they are in a formation and heading to that island, scout the island then report back" The Radio said.
"Loud and Clear Sir" The Pilot said, before the Helicopter moved forward"
"Those ship's, who do you think they belong to?" The Other Pilot said.
"Not sure...Possibly the Soviet's, but they have not really any ship's of that shape, and their own Portal is On land, and we also don't really know if the soviet's have really investigated their own" The Pilot said. "It's possible that the planet has native's"He said.
"If we know whether this is a different planet or not..."The Other one said.
"What do you mean?" The Pilot asked.
The Pilot point's toward the Horizon, and he see's the Moon.
"And?Earth cannot be the only...earthlike planet with a moon?"
"Yes" The Other pilot said, "But that moon share's the same feature's as our moon"He said."and also, It is the same size in the sky, So It is Almost Certainly not a coincidence."
"You may be right..." He said, "So that leave's two Options, Time travel or alternate Dimension" He stated.
'well, There is nothing like that island on our records."He said."Nothing at all."
"So Alternate Dimension"he said, then he noticed they were almost over the island.
"Look" He said, They paid attention to what was next to, below, and infront of them.
"This Island appear's to be volcanic, And has extensive Forest." The Other pilot said.
"I am no geologist, but I Really think something about this island is Volcanic" He said, Looking at the 3 Massive Peak's at it's center.
There was a Beep.
"Radar's got something" The Other pilot said.
2 Bleeps, no, 3 of them, Appeared on Radar.
"Sir!" The Other pilot said, "Evasive"
The Helicopter is very low, but a Fireball hit's the tail and the Helicopter drops to the ground as it was in a low hover, and the pilot's vision goes dark.
It's all really going in different way's than they anticipated.
