Luz was looking at the biography for Anne Boonchuy, one of the members of the band Calamity, and an interesting fact caught her eye.
"Amity, you won't believe what I am reading about Anne," Luz said.
"Luz, what is it?" Amity asked.
"According to her biography on the Calamity website, while in Amphibia Anne Boonchuy died then came back to life. I went through that too back on the Boiling Isles," Luz said. "We need to bond over this."
As a co-president of the official Calamity Fan Club, Luz had the phone numbers of all three members. She called up Anne, who answered "Luz, what's up?"
Luz said, "Anne, turns out we have something in common, we should like meet up for coffee and talk about it. What do you think?"
Anne said, "sure, I'll pick you up after my work day is done."
Luz said, "see you then."
Sure enough, after Anne finished her day at the Aquarium of the Pacific, she drove over to Luz and Amity's house to pick her up for coffee at Starbucks.
Luz had to have something dairy-free due to her lactose intolerance. Anne did not have this problem so she could order what she wanted.
"So Anne, I read on your biography on the Calamity website what you were temporarily dead. Guess what, I was temporarily dead myself," Luz said.
"No way," Anne said.
"Back in Amphibia you used the power of the Calamity Stones to defeat the Core but you died in the process I read. Then inexplicably, you came back to life," Luz said.
"True," Anne said.
"When I was fighting Belos on the Boiling Isles, I was hit by an attack that killed me, and sent me to the In-Between World. King's father, who had been observing me and his son all this time, gave his remaining life force to revive me, and I became a human-Titan fusion. I ended up defeating him, and saving the Boiling Isles," Luz said.
"I never would have guessed it," Anne said. "But it is very cool that we have this important detail in common. I should tell my wives about this."
"Go ahead, I'm sure they will be very surprised to find that you and me have something in common," Luz said.
Anne and Luz finished their coffees, and Anne took Luz back home to her wife Amity. This was a meeting both would remember for the rest of their lives.
