After having pizza tonight at a restaurant, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage retired for the night flopping on the bed after a long hard day, it wasn't long before they fell asleep.
From the ceiling, stars and constellations flickered to life, three balls of golden light lining up in front of Shaggy, Scooby, Courage and Coraline as they blinked at the brightness.
"It's a fine, fine thing you did for us," the small ghost girl said as the glows simmered, wings and halos on the as the three ghosts held hands.
"Well," Coraline chuckled as he crossed her arms, with Shaggy, Scooby and Courage nodding as they smiled back, "I'm glad it's finally over."
The ghosts frowned at that and glided away as the small ghost girl placed a hand on her chest, "It is over and done with...for us."
"What?" Courage gasped, sharing a concerned look with his friends, "What about us?"
"You all are in terrible danger!" The talk ghost girl waved her arms as a deeper frown took over her face, "The Beldam lives yet, and she needs to take your lives!"
"But how?! I locked the door!" Coraline asked.
"It's the key," the small ghost girl pointed at the button-like key that hung around Shaggy's neck, the object flying out before he grabbed it, "There's only one, and the Beldam will find it."
Coraline, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage closed their eyes and hugged each other in their dread as the ghosts smiled in reassurance, joining in the hug as the ghost boy spoke, "'Tain't all bad, thou art alive... Thou art still living."
Shaggy, Scooby and Courage gasped as they shot up in a sitting position, looking over at each other as they stared at each other with wide eyes.
Shaggy pulls his shirt and takes the key, "Like we gotta get rid of this somewhere, somewhere she can never!-"
He stopped as Courage and Scooby's faces became determined and they nodded, the three climbing out of their bed. Shaggy tucked the key back into his shirt.
The Pink Palace was below the kids and puppies as they walked along the path. Coraline also got the dream and went to help them get rid of the key and end this once and for all.
Shaggy, Scooby and Courage shivered as the cold wind blew softly around them. But they still looked at the stars.
Courage got an extremely sixth sense when he knew something was wrong or if there was danger afoot. He knew that something bad was going to happen, he just knew it. He kept walking: doing his best to ignore the unfriendly presence lurking about. No one is following us, just calm down.
Oh, my twitchy-witchy girl, I think you are so nice.
Coraline sang as they walked side by side.
I give you bowls of porridge and I give you bowls of ice... cream
I give you lots of kisses...
And I give you lots of hugs
But I never give you sandwiches
Coraline pried the well open with a stick.
With grease and worms and mung... beans
Coraline grunted as the wooden covered moved, backing away for Shaggy to step up.
Alright Shaggy, like, all you got to do is throw the key down the well and like, it would be all over. Shaggy thought, as he reached into his shirt and pulled out the key.
Suddenly, Shaggy yelped as he fell to the ground, pulling on the string as the HAND began to drag him.
"SHAGGY!/RAGGY!" Courage and Scooby cried out in horror.
"You little!- Get off of him!" Coraline kicked the hand away and hurriedly pulled Shaggy to stand, as he coughed for air, the hand rolled before catching its self and speeding towards them.
Before they could do anything, a light flashed at them and a figure yells out a battle cry.
Wybie, behind his helmet, drives down the hill and snatches up the alarmed hand with his tweezers. Holding it in the air as he drove back up the hill.
"RYBIE?!" Scooby quickly ran over with his friends as the needle hand wiggles out of the tweezers, making Wylie gasp and scream aloud as it attacks his helmet.
The bike ends up on its side and He falls off of it, rolling into the well, holding for dear life.
The hand crawled over and raises its needles threateningly and stabbed his fingers on one of his hands, making Wybie scream in pain as he lets go. The needle raises its needles again to finish the job before Scooby tackles it with the blanket in his arms as Coraline, Shaggy and Courage runs over to help Wybie.
Scooby yells when one of the needles cut his cheek in its attempt to escape, he jumps back with another yelp as the hand breaks free from the blanket. But before it could jump at him, a rock lands on top of it, breaking the needles apart as Courage panted.
"I hate... needles!…" Courage said as Shaggy, Coraline and Wybie walked next to them, panting as well.
The kids and puppies watched as Shaggy takes the key from his neck, fixing the blanket and tying it together tightly. Coraline and Wybie pick it up, grunting with effort as they toss it into the well.
The rock-covered blanket disappears into the darkness of the well, ending with a giant splash they couldn't see as Wybie turns to the wooden cover, pushing and closing it finally.
Wybie twiddled his fingers, "I'm really sorry I didn't believe you about all this evil stuff, guys..."
Coraline raised a eyebrow and stands, crossing her arms, "Why did you change your mind?"
"Well, Grandma showed me this picture after I called you crazy," he walks closer as Scooby stood, pulling out an old picture of two twin girls. The brown hair and pink ribboned braids catching their attention, "It's her and her sister, before she disappeared."
"Rhe Sweet Ghost Girl..." Scooby said as his held the picture, the four smiling. Happy that she was now free from the chains of the Beldam.
A bell rung faintly. "Wyborne! Come home!"
The boy slumped and groaned as he rubbed his neck anxiously, "Oh, man. What am I gonna tell her?"
Coraline looked at the picture again, and replied, "Just bring her by the house tomorrow. We can tell her together."
"We... We can?" His face was hopeful as Coraline walked forward and slugged Wybie.
Coraline chuckled, "You know, I'm glad you decided to stalk us."
Wybie laughed uncertainly, then replied, "It wasn't my idea."
The five turned when they heard a content meow.
The black cat jumped onto the stump and titled his head, seeming to smile as his blue eyes squinted. The kids and puppies turned their heads as well to copy him.
Their relaxed smiles permanent on their faces as the moon glowed brighter.
Well that's all for now, almost done. This is vakarns signing out.
