Since I've brought back A Devil of Justice, I've decided that I should also bring back An Avenging Devil to work on both stories as best as I can, try to keep the muse of ideas going. Not that I have many right now, but it's a work in progress. It's not like I have a deadline to complete this story, but you readers can be impatient sometimes which is why I try to make ten or twenty chapters per story to have ready for posting.

So yeah, a lot of work to be done.

Like A Devil of Justice, this story will feature a harem of Marvel women... and maybe I'll use elements and characters from other stuff that deals with the whole Heaven/Hell shit like Darksiders, Bayonetta, Spawn, though I mainly chose them for A Devil of Justice because... well, DC is dark as shit and they would fit more in tune with the DC Universe than the Marvel Universe.

But... who knows, I might change my mind. For now, it's simply a DMC/Marvel crossover with a harem of Marvel women.

Like A Devil of Justice, Drake is at the same level as he is at the beginning of A Devil of Justice, in which he's like Dante from Devil May Cry 3. However, I'm going for a personality change in which Drake is a little bit like Vergil but still like Dante with my own touch. Simply put; he keeps to himself but will intervene when he sees something he doesn't like, while the Drake from A Devil of Justice could care less as it's not his problem but that version of Drake will change over the course of the story.

It's called character development.

Disclaimer: I do not own Devil May Cry or Marvel Comics. I only own the OC Drake Redgrave.

Walking down an empty street was a seventeen-year-old male teenager. The teen had short white hair in a faux-hawk like style

His attire consisted of red pants with two black belts wrapped around his right thigh, a black, leather belt, black gloves, and high, black boots. He also wore a hooded long coat with Western and Italian features, that was a deep red, almost crimson color. The coat is short-sleeved, with numerous gold-colored studs decorating the shoulders, collar, and chest, with a single zipper on the front. While underneath the coat, he is wearing what appears to be a black long-sleeved shirt, with a red vest with black clasps over it.

This was Drake Redgrave, a half-demon who slays demons.

Turning down an alley, Drake went down a set of stairs, arriving at a door at the bottom and entered inside the now revealed bar. The bar was mostly empty, aside from the bartender and three of guys playing a game of poker.

Sitting at the bar, Drake clasped his hands in front of him.

"What'll it be?" Asked the bartender, cleaning a glass.

"Strawberry sundae." Drake answered, with the bartender chuckling as he turned to face him.

"This is a bar, kid, no place for someone like you." Stated the bartender.

"Really? Just trying to sweeten up the air in here, it smells like shit, or more like, blood. And that's fine with me." Said Drake, as the bartender stopped cleaning his glass.

"Cause what I'm interested in, is this rumor I heard. They say that somewhere around here, there's a bar, more like a dive, a place where they'll take someone's life in place of money. Kinda scary." Drake stated, looking over his shoulder when one of the players snickered

"Sorry, forgive me pal." Said the player.

"Royal straight flush, is it? Playing a hand like that could kill a guy." Said Drake, before looking forward, while reaching into his coat, while the player set down his cards and stood up.

"How about, I buy you a round!" He said, walking towards Drake, only to be met with the end of a black handgun pointed at him, before he was shot in the forehead.

The guy's body flew back with blood flying out of the bullet hole, but rather than dying, a monster seemed to burst out of his body and charge at Drake.

Ducking under the attack, Drake slid back, just as the other two players also transformed into monsters, as well. Pulling out a second handgun, being white in color, and shot the two monsters three times in their heads, reducing them to bloody paste.

Going to aim at the first monster, Drake gave a small grunt, when it suddenly lunged and bit his arm.

"Not bad, Mr. Royal Flush." Drake stated, dropping the gun in his free hand and held his now free hand out.

Immediately, a large demonic sword fell out of the sky, crashing through a skylight. Grabbing the blade, Drake swung the sword and sliced the monsters ahead off.

The sword was massive with a heavy double-edged blade, notched on both sides near the tip. The grip is plain, but the guard is skeletal, with a skull-design on each side leading to the rib cage from which the blade emerges; on one side of the blade, the skull is that of a human, while the other uses a horned demon skull. The crossguard looked to be the bones of the arms, which were folded in against the ribs.

This was Rebellion, a sword given to Drake by his father, Sparda. (AN: It's the DMC 4 design of Rebellion, in it's dormant form)

With the monsters dead, Drake sheathed his sword on his back and holstered his guns. Walking up to the door, Drake paused for a moment, before drawing his sword again and stabbing it through the door, with the bartenders body falling through the window not a moment later.

Pulling his sword out, Drake opened the door, stepping aside, as the boy fell to the ground.

"Next time you open up shop, don't forget to add strawberry sundae's to the menu." Drake said, walking up the stairs. "Oh, and try to watch the time. I got school in the morning."

However, before he reached the top of the stairs, another monster emerged from the bartenders body and lunged at him. Though before it could reach him. Drake spun around with his guns and aimed them at its head.

"Jackpot!" Drake said, smirking as he pulled the trigger.

BANG!

"Mr Redgrave!"

"Hmm?" Drake opened his eyes, looking boredly at the teacher who was giving him a very disapproving glare while some of the students snickered or glanced back and fourth between him and the teacher. "Yes teach?"

The teacher narrowed her eyes. "This is your first day here at Midtown High, try to look as interested as everyone else is."

'Half of them are too lazy or staring at your tits to be interested in the class.' Drake thought, while holding back the urge to roll his eyes. He just grunted in response to the teacher and uncrossed his arms, trying to look 'interested' in the class. The teacher huffed and got back to the lesson at hand, with the half-demon ignoring the snickers and whispers from the other students.

Day 1 here and he's already regretting it, but considering his age... he had to go to school, to try and keep a sense of normal life outside of the demon killing. He had moved to New York City a couple of weeks back, managed to get himself a place to stay in a apartment complex in Hell's Kitchen, which wasn't that easy due to the price of the place but Drake managed to make due... plus, the landlady was a sweet old woman, if not a little stern when she sees things she doesn't like in her building. The rent was at a decent price, so he didn't have to worry about that for now.

Then he got himself a place in Midtown High School.

It was his first day, and already he's been dealt with whispers about his hair, to which some called him a delinquent for. There was also the classic jocks, consisting of a idiot called Flash Thompson with his goons, there's also the cheerleading squad that consisted of rather attractive young women, especially Elizabeth Allen, though he heard rumours she was dating Flash... or was it some girl called Gwen Stacy?

Meh, rumours are nothing but made up shit.

Finally, the lesson finally came to an end with the sound of the bell ringing. Instantly, students were getting to their feet and clamouring to get out while the teacher tried to maintain order. Drake almost snorted at the lack of control the teacher had over his students. That's what happens when you're teaching teenagers who care about nothing but three simple things;

Social life, sex, and gossip.

Seriously. that's like the main thing with teenage humans. They always talk about shit on social media, listen for the latest gossip, or talk about guys/girls they'd love to have sex with or did have sex with, or are thinking of having sex with. Drake can proudly say he wasn't like that... though he was a 100% into women, but you don't see him going around saying some shit like he'd want to have sex with Megan Fox or something.

Shouldering his bag with a sigh, Drake kept to the back of the horde of students as they exited the classroom and into the hallway, where more students were spread out like cockroaches. Like Drake thought, some were in their groups, chatting about life's latest stuff or their sex lives in such 'discreet' manners Drake nearly laughed.

Nearly.

The sound of laughter and jeering quickly caught his attention and as he turned the corner, he came to see a group of jocks picking on a scrawny kid. Considering the fact that many were big guys, it was highly unfair for the little guy that by the looks of things seemed both terrified, confused, and also resigned to his fate.

His eyes then landed on one of the individuals pushing the kid. 'Flash?' One of the things he's managed to learn from the jocks... is they bully, especially Flash. Not liking the sight in front of him any longer, Drake pushed past students uncaringly, his eyes firmly locked on Flash and the kid he was bullying.

"That's enough!" He declared as he stood in between Flash and the kid.

"Redgrave?" Flash appeared confused for a moment, angry as well, no doubt due to his fun being ruined. However, he quickly put on a friendly smile. "What you doing, man? We were just having some fun, weren't we Parker?" He glared at the kid as if daring him to deny it.

Drake snorted. "Yeah, and I'm one of those so-called 'dangerous' mutants that Senator Kelly guy bullshits about on TV." He said sarcastically before crossing his arms. "How about... you tell me the truth rather than lying out of your ass?"

Flash's eyes narrowed even further and Drake withheld the urge to smirk. It was obvious to him and many other people watching from the sidelines that Flash was getting angry, scratch that, downright pissed and many wondered excitedly if a fight was about to break out.

"What's it to you, newbie?" Flash sneered at the white-haired teenager. "This is your first day. You really want to end it with you getting hurt?"

"It would be extremely painful..." Drake started.

"Exactly." Flash smirked.

"...For you." Drake finished, his tone hardening a little as his eyes narrowed and then stepped forward so that he was invading Flash's personal space. "As for why I'm getting involved." Here he stopped looking at Flash, who had stumbled back to out some distance between the two of them, and was looking at his group of goons. "It's because I find that five of you guys picking on one scrawny little kid to be very pathetic."

Stepping back, Drake put his hands in his pocket and watched in amusement as Flash tried to appear tough despite being clearly intimidated.

"You even think about picking on people smaller than you, people that won't fight back out of fear because it makes you feel tough." Drake's posture shifted completely to a subtle one of someone who was ready to attack if pushed to that limit. "Then I suggest you rethink your course of action as I won't stand for it."

Flash and his goons glanced at each other, nervously as Drake's expression lost the care-free, slightly cocky look it's had since his arrival here. Now, there was a look of utter seriousness and a look in the white-haired teenager's blue eyes, like a predator ready to attack it's prey.

Trying to save face, Flash scoffed and walked away. "Whatever." He left with his goons, and Drake smirked as he noticed their speed increased a little.

The half-demon then turned to the gathered crowd and gave a gesture of 'shoo' with his hands. "Go on, get lost. Show's over." Those still curious bystanders did so, reluctantly and then Drake turned to the kid who was looking down the corridor his bullies had run down in shock.

"You alright?" Drake asked and the kid looked up at the white-haired half-demon in shock and awe, before he gave a hesitant smile.

"Eh, y-yea. T-thanks."

"Don't mention it." Drake stuck one arm out. "Name's Drake. Drake Redgrave."

The kid clasped his hand against Drake's and shook it. "Peter Parker."

Drake nodded his head and then looked at the clock on the wall. "Well Peter, it's been fun but I have to get off to maths otherwise miss Bruner's going to be pissed at me." He started walking forwards, just as Peter called out for him.

"Wait!" Drake turned around just as Peter crashed into him, not having expected the blonde to stop as suddenly as he had. "Eh, w-well, I just wanted to let you know that I'm also in miss Bruner's class. We could go together if you want." Drake looked down at Peter with a smirk as he saw the nervous fidgeting. No doubt, Peter was very grateful and a little awed by him and wanted to at least be friends, if only for safety from Flash.

"Sure." Peter flashed him a smile once more and the two walked in silence down the corridor, passing a few other students that pointed and whispered at Drake as he walked by. News seemed to pass by very quickly. "So, that happen often? Flash bothering you that is."

Peter frowned and looked at the floor dejectedly. "Yea, I'm not the only one he does it too, but I'm his most popular choice." Drake snorted at that and Peter even smiled slightly, despite neither finding it very funny.

"Well, guess I've got my work cut out for me then, huh?"

"What'd you mean?" Peter asked and Drake gave him a cocky grins.

"Someone's got to keep you from getting your ass kicked all the time as well as keep Flash's ego in check. Way I see it, it's a win-win for me." Drake shrugged and Peter frowned at the last part.

"Win-win? What do you mean by that?"

"Eh, it doesn't really matter. Don't worry about it." Drake waved off Peter's question just as the two entered the maths classroom.

The rest of the day soon passed by for Drake and he soon found himself walking towards his bike in the parking lot. It was a relatively average bike, not too expensive, nor too cheap either.

"A Yamaha YZF-R3, very nice." Just as he had raised his helmet above his head to put it on, he lowered it once more to turn around and face the owner of the voice. And he was very glad for his poker face, honed after years of bullshitting and lying as it let none of his shock appear.

Because the young woman before him was extremely beautiful.

She was the same age as him, that he could tell. She had an alluring beauty that could draw one in, with long-flowing red hair, – a definite plus in his books, – a curvaceous figure with a generous bust. Not too big and not too small and she was obviously not afraid to show her figure with the hip hugging jeans and crop top.

"Yes, it's a nice ride." Drake agreed, as if he hadn't spent s few moments to take in her figure, by the way she was looking at him she didn't mind. "Shame I can't really test out its speed fully with all the speed limits and whatnot."

"I guess that would be a downer." She then stuck out one hand with a smile that Drake hesitantly took. "Name's Mary Jane Watson, but most call me MJ."

"MJ?" Drake repeated slowly, before he flashed her one of his own smiles. "Drake Redgrave. No shortened version or anything like that. DR doesn't roll off the tongue quite well" She smiled slightly. "So, what can I do for you, MJ?"

"I just came to say thank you. For what you did for Peter." She clarified and upon seeing Drake's furrowed brow, gave some more detail. "I moved to Queens only a couple of weeks ago and I'm actually Peter's neighbour. He's a nice guy, friendly if a little shy. Flash tends to not pick on Peter when I'm around, partly because he thinks that I'd date him despite him having only just broken up with his girlfriend, Gwen. But I'm not-"

"-Always around." Drake finished getting a nod from Mary.

"Yea. So I want to say thank you for what you did, not many people would have done that. It was very…" She took a few moments to decide on what she was exactly trying to say. "Heroic."

"Heroic?" Drake chuckled and shook his head. "That would imply I'm a hero and I'm not a a guy who can't stand bullying."

Mary frowned and looked to try and argue with Drake, but she took note of his expression and the look in his eyes before deciding to let it go. "Okay, I still think what you did was heroic and very brave, but you can think what you want as well." She shrugged her shoulders before giving Drake a wave. "Anyway, I need to get off, maybe I'll see you around sometime."

"Yea, I'll see you later." He waved back before getting on his bike and drove off for Hell's Kitchen...

And that's it for the first chapter everyone. I hope you liked it, but you'll let me know in the reviews. So yeah, I tried to give as much character interest and world-building as I could, like Drake not standing bullies, and then the mention of the views on mutants and Senator Kelly, a well known hate of mutants who thinks them dangerous. As for what Earth this story is taking place on... well, it;s not set on any known Earth, but it will have ba mix of MCu and Earth 616 storylines and events, like maybe the Avengers vs X-Men storyline involving the Phoenix Force.

Like I said, still trying to work on it. But just know there will be a mix of comic book, movies and cartoon shows just like I'll be doing with A Devil of Justice.

Now, for the harem which is probably what you're all here to find out about.

Harem: Mary Jane Watson, Felicia Hardy/Black Cat, Jean Grey/Marvel Girl, Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman, Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk, Natasha Romanoff/Black WIdow, Betty Braddock/Psylocke, Amora/Enchantress, Emma Frost/White Queen, Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch.

This isn't the full harem list, I'm still working on it as well as the one in A Devil of Justice. Don't want to add like over fifty women, because I sure as hell don't want to be like Dragonlord0, maybe 20 or 30 women at most for both stories, depending on what I think.
