Sailor Moon Defenders: The Final Chapters

Prologue

Fate has a way of paving the way for one's future. Nobody really knows what to expect, even if they were to prepare for the events that were to come. Sometimes, when the time does arrive for that big moment, it just comes unexpected.

Sailor Galaxia is coming for the Sailor Crystals, the true star seeds. She'll stop at nothing to get them. Not even the planet Mongo is safe as the witch Zorelda is now helping her.

Kakyuu looked up with the Starlights by her side. A few of the surviving rebels were with them. Galaxia and Zorelda have already taken out most of the rebels that were with them at the start of this battle. She wasn't for sure how long they would be able to hold off their opponents.

"Looks like they do not stand a chance." Zorelda said.

"I noticed that." Galaxia replied. "You are doing very well as I realized you hold the true star seed of Mongo. I only wish you told me before I placed the bracelets on you."

Kakyuu glanced in shock. This witch willingly gave up her star seed to Galaxia?! So the rumors of Mongo's witch were true.

"Majesty," the rebel leader spoke up, pulling the princess from her thoughts, "We are not sure how much longer we can hold up against her."

That statement didn't surprise her. Yet, she acknowledged him, "I realize that."

"There's no escape." Galaxia declared with Zorelda in tow. "I will obtain all of your star seeds and destroy all the scum that stands in my way!"

"You won't win, Galaxia!" Yaten replied.

"Star Serious Laser!"

Seiya's attack proven to be useless as Zorelda used a forcefield to block the attack.

"The witch is just as powerful as Galaxia." Seiya stated. "Nevertheless, we fight!"

Zorelda posed in action, preparing for her attack. She unleashed energy which killed the rebel leader and the remainder of the rebels, with combination of Galaxia's power and her own magicial powers.

"No!" Kakyuu cried out in horror.

"You're going to pay for that!" Taiki yelled in anger before unleashing an attack. "Star Gentle Uterus!"

"My turn!" Yaten posed for attack. "Star Sensitive Inferno!"

"Star Serious Laser!"

Galaxia deflected each of the attacks.

Sailor-Moon-Defenders—

Seiya looked up as she realized this fight was getting nowhere. If all four of them get killed next, who would warn the Defenders of the Earth and the Sailor Guardians about Galaxia? She looked over at Yaten and Taiki as they were having the exact thoughts she was thinking.

"What'll we do?" Seiya asked. "Nothing we do is stopping her or Zorelda."

"I'm afraid there's only one thing we can do." Taiki answered.

"We need to warn the Defenders and the Sailor Guardians on Earth." Yaten added.

The Starlights glanced at their princess.

"And we have to keep you safe, Princess." Seiya nodded in agreement.

"Fighter, Healer, Maker," Kakyuu stared at her Starlights in awe, "you don't have to do this. Not for me."

"It is our duty to keep you safe," Seiya stressed, "and your Sailor power can only do so much."

"Fighter is right." Yaten nodded in agreement, "You are best shot to warn the Defenders of the Earth and the Sailor Guardians of Earth of Galaxia's arrival."

"They're not only after the true star seeds of Earth," Taiki added, "but the Necklace of Oros as well as Rick Gordon's Quasar star seed."

Kakyuu stood in awe, yet hesistant to leave her Starlights.

"Go Princess!" Seiya insisted, "We'll try our best to hold her off!"

Kakyuu nodded before teleporting out of sight.

"Curses!" Zorelda exclaimed. "She got away!"

"No matter," Galaxia assured her, "I will get her star seed when I come to Earth as soon as I finish off these three!"

"Let's give it our best!" Seiya told her fellow Starlights.

"Right." Taiki nodded before unleashing her attack, "Star Gentle Uterus!"

"Star Sensitive Inferno!"

"Star Serious Laser!"

The attacks failed to make a dent on Galaxia or Zorelda.

"Is that the best you got?" Galaxia asked.

"Obviously not." Zorelda chuckled. "I say it's time we finish them off!"

"Exactly what I had in mind." Galaxia replied before she posed for attack. "I guess I will be taking your star seeds now!"

Seiya, Yaten and Taiki each closed their eyes, preparing themselves for impact as Galaxia unleashed her attack on them.

Sailor-Moon-Defenders—

Chibi Chibi gasped as she looked up, sensing something.

"Fighter. Maker. Healer." Chibi Chibi stated quietly. "The time has come."

Sailor-Moon-Defenders—

Mandrake sat on the couch next to Atascadero as the two were cuddling.

"It's been awhile since we could enjoy moments like these." Atascadero stated with a smile.

"I can agree with you there, my dear." Mandrake replied, taking hold of her hand. "Ming hasn't been causing much problems lately, some of our kids have left the nest and well, it's just been mostly quiet here."

"Speaking of which," Atascadero asked, "How's Kshin doing with Astoria?"

"As far as I know, they're doing okay." Mandrake answered.

"What about the Sailor Guardians?"

"They're preparing for any threats that might be coming." Mandrake answered before looking at his lover and then looking at the ceiling, thinking about each of the Sailor Guardians.

Mamoru was quite level headed and he was amazed on how sane he was given how Usagi and Chibiusa could be at times; Ami was smart and gentle; Rei was bold and hot headed at times; Makoto had an assertive nature; Minako was kind and bold; Haruka was strong and bold, perhaps to a fault; Michiru was gentle but had boldness within her too; Setsuna was quite smart and resourceful and Hotaru was sweet and with how she could be at times, reminded her of Rick.

Finally, he thought of Usagi. Sometimes, she could be clumsy and peculiar. However, this girl was kind and caring. What surprised him the most about her was how powerful she had become. There was something about it that was puzzling him and he wasn't sure what it could be.

"So," Atascadero asked, pulling Mandrake from his thoughts, "What do you think we should do tonight?"

"Well," Mandrake answered, "I was thinking maybe we could - "

He was stopped when he heard a loud humming sound. The coulple turned around, startled as the sky turned a bright orange color.

"What is that?" Atascadero asked.

"I don't know," Mandrake answered, "but I don't like the look or sound of it."

Moments later, the orange color vanished and so did the sound.

"We should check it out." Atascadero suggested.

"Good idea." Mandrake nodded in agreement. He led her outside the mansion. They looked up to see a woman descend from the sky. The woman looked familiar as he noticed she was barely conscious.

"Princess Kakyuu?" Mandrake looked on in surprise.

"You know her?" Atascadero asked, confused.

"Yes," Mandrake nodded, "but it was never anything serious. She's from another star system and she helped us with a situation with Rick awhile back."

Atascadero nodded as he stepped forward and managed to catch Kakyuu before she could hit the ground.

"Are you all right?" Mandrake asked.

"Galaxia is coming." Kakyuu answered. "Be prepared."

Seconds later, she lost consciousness.

Mandrake looked up in surprise. He realized this was it. This was the moment they were preparing for all this time.
