Chapter One

"Galaxia…" Mandrake uttered. Saying her name made him quiver a bit.

"Who is she?" Ata inquired.

"One of the last people we want to face." He'd taken the time to educate himself. A part of him wished that he hadn't, though. Galaxia's power was frightening.

Ata paused a moment. "What do we do?"

He took a slow breath. "We observe the places where she's likely to strike." He tightened a fist. "And we prepare to defend the Earth."

Usagi sighed as she laid back on the bed.

"You okay, Usa?" Mamoru asked as he walked next to her.

"Yeah," Usagi answered, "Just thinking."

"About?"

"Flash said he was visiting Rick and Jedda at the Netherworld," Usagi glanced at her lover.

"The King and Queen of the Netherworld."

"Hadea offered a spot to Minako, but she declined."

"As I'm aware of."

Usagi looked up and saw Mamoru as if something was puzzling him, "Something wrong, Mamo?"

"I have this strange feeling that something is about to happen," Mamoru answered, "I have this feeling that we are about to go into a battle, one which we may not come back from."

"Why do you say that?" Usagi asked in shock.

Mamoru sighed, "I wouldn't worry about it right now. It's just strange dreams I've been having about the Sailor Crystals."

"Come to think about it," Usagi glanced up, "Rei has been having visions about Rick and the Sailor Crystals as well."

"Exactly."

"What should we do?"

"We should take this one step at a time." Mamoru took a step back before getting out a small box, "I got something for you."

He opened the box, revealing a beautiful ring.

"Thank you, Mamo!" Usagi stared in awe of the ring, "Can I try it on?"

Mamoru nodded.

"I'm so happy." Usagi took the ring and placed it on her right hand ring finger, "Mamo, this is..."

"Usako," Mamoru glanced at his lover with a smile, "when we return home, I promise that..."

The couple glanced over as they heard a knock on the door.

"Come in!" Mamoru replied.

The door opened, revealing Rei, Ami, Minako and Makoto.

"Mandrake wants everyone to report to Monitor ASAP." Minako informed the couple.

"The Defenders and the Outers are already at Monitor," Makoto added, "We best to join them right away."

"Oh my god!" Minako exclaimed in surprise, noticing the ring on Usagi's finger.

"Amazing!" Makoto stated with delight, as she and Ami followed Minako's glance.

"Did Mamoru give that to you?" Ami asked.

"Yep, I sure did." Mamoru answered.

"Mamo gave me this ring." Usagi smiled.

"We should be heading over to Monitor right away," Rei told the group.

Flash looked down as Kakyuu was laying on one of Monitor's medical beds which Mandrake and Atascadero placed her in after they found her outside the mansion.

"Is she all right?" he asked.

"I think so," Mandrake answered, "she must be recovering from an intense battle."

"We're here." Usagi announced as she, Mamoru and the Inner Guardians arrived.

"Is that..." Mamoru looked on in shock.

"Yes," Artemis answered, "this is Princess Kakyuu."

"She is recovering from an intense battle with Galaxia," Luna added.

"So my feelings were true after all," Mamoru muttered.

The group heard stirring and looked to see Kakyuu starting to come to.

"She's starting to come to," April told the team.

"The Defenders of the Earth," Kakyuu looked around, "the Sailor Guardians. Galaxia hasn't gotten to you yet. Thank goodness."

"It hadn't been that long for us to deal with her yet," Krotan replied, "Or Zorelda for that matter."

"So, you must be Princess Kakyuu?" Amy asked.

"This is your biggest battle yet," Kakyuu rose up from the med bed and looked at the heroes, "Sailor Galaxia is going to be the toughest adversary you have ever faced, and she's not alone."

"Let me guess," Krotan spoke up, "the witch Zorelda is with her?"

"Yes," Kakyuu nodded, "that is correct."

"Why would Zorelda want to join forces with Sailor Galaxia?" Lothar asked.

"I'm not sure," Hotaru answered, "but I don't think it'll work out for her, knowing how both of them are."

"Galaxia is on her way to Earth," Kakyuu informed the group, "She took out the Starlights and you guys are next."

"This is it." said the Phantom.

"How long do we got?" Flash asked.

"There's no telling," Kakyuu answered, "With the witch Zorelda by her side, she could be here any day now."

"Then that means," Flash paled, "Rick is in danger."

"Jedda as well," the Phantom added, "because Galaxia could use her to get to Rick and his Quasar crystal."

"We'll have to warn them," Rei replied.

"And we'll have to prepare to defend the Earth!" Mandrake declared.

"Incoming message from Planet Mongo!"

The group quickly looked to see Baylin on the screen. She appeared to be in distress.

"Flash!" Baylin frantically called out, "We are in big trouble! These forces are ruthless! We need your help! Hurry!"

Suddenly, the screen went blank.

"Baylin!" Flash paled in surprise, "Mongo is under attack!"

"It is not just Earth that is in danger from the threat of Galaxia," Kakyuu told the group, "it is also the rest of the galaxy that is in danger."

"Even Mongo," Krotan muttered, "I knew that witch Zorelda would give this Galaxia ideas!"

Author's Note: Sorry for the delay with this. Or putting this off for that matter. My new passion project involving Batman has been the new top priority over the past few months, the past year for that matter. I'm also working on another project with Harry2 and that also has been my top priority lately, along with my home life and stuff. Also, apologies for the writing format being a bit rusty. In the wake of Sailor Moon Cosmos, I'm trying to at least get the finale arc, this story, finished so you guys can have that to enjoy.
