Zorrii took the 4 friends to meet Babu Frik a tiny alien known as an Anzellan to his workshop to overwrite 3PO's memory so he could tell them what was on the dagger.
"I haven't the faintest idea why I agreed to this" 3PO said.
"Well it's not like you had much choice 3PO" Axel said.
"Do I ever?" 3PO asked.
"Not with the fate of the galaxy in the balance no" Axel said.
Rey then approached Babu.
"Babu, can you help us with this?" Rey asked as Babu spoke in his native language.
"He says he'll try but it won't be easy" Axel said.
"You speak Anzellan?" Rey asked.
"When you have mother who forced you to learn multiple languages growing up yeah" Axel said as Babu started speaking again.
"He says he found something forbidden memory bank. Words translated from Sith" Zorrii said turning to Poe "Who are you hanging out with that speaks Sith?"
"Can you make him translate it Babu?" Poe asked as Babu started speaking again.
"He says he can but it'll cause a complete memory wipe" Axel said.
"Wait if we do this he won't remember anything?" Poe asked.
"Only until we get him back to the base" Axel said "R2 keeps a back up memory file with him in cased this ever happened again"
"Again, this has happened before?" Finn asked.
"Long story" Axel said "But like said before, with the fate of the galaxy on the line do we really have a choice?"
3PO stood up and looked away.
"If this mission fails... It was all for nothing" 3PO said as he turned back to his friends.
"What uh... What are you doing there 3PO?" Poe asked.
"Taking one last look sir... At my friends" 3PO said as the others smiled sadly.
Suddenly there was a flash of light that passed by them.
"Night raids are gonna start soon" Zorrii said "I'll keep look out"
"I'm coming with you" Poe said followed her.
"Did those two ever fuck?" Axel asked as his girlfriend looked at him.
"Seriously?" Rey asked in annoyed tone.
"What? I mean it would explain a lot" Axel said.
Soon Babu started working on 3PO's memory as he powered down. While Babu was working on 3PO Rey put oil D-O's squeaky wheel.
"Squeak eliminated" D-O said rolling back and forth "T-thank you. V-very kind"
"That's true" Axel said approaching Rey as she stood up.
"Something's not right about all this Axel" Rey said.
"What do you mean?" Axel asked.
"I know where I've seen it" Rey said "The ship he was on. Ochi's ship"
"Rey what are you saying?" Axel asked in concern.
"The day my parents left. They were on that ship" Rey said looking into Axel's eyes.
"You think he had something to do with their disappearance?" Axel said.
Just then Zorrii and Poe entered the shop.
"There's an incoming Destroyer" Zorrii said.
"We gotta go now" Poe said "Did we get it?"
"Yep, droid is ready!" Babu said as he turned 3PO back on but his eyes were red.
"The Emperor's wayfinder is in the imperial vault" 3PO said in a low voice. "At Delta 3-6 transient 9-3-6, bearing 3-2... On a moon in the End or system. From the southern shore. Only this blade tells"
3PO then shut down again as Babu laughed victoriously.
"The Endor system, where the last war ended" Finn said.
Just the shop started shaking as Rey and Axel looked outside and saw the Destroyer above them.
"Ren's Destroyer" Rey said.
"Selena is with him too" Axel said.
Suddenly Rey and Axel felt a familiar presence. One they thought was long gone.
"Chewie?" Rey said in disbelief.
"What about him?" Finn asked.
"He's alive, and he's on that Destroyer!" Axel said
"What? How?" Poe asked.
"He's alive! He must've been on a different transport" Rey said.
"We gotta go get him!" Axel said as 3PO turned back on without his memory.
Later with the help of Zorrii's First Order Captain's medallion the 4 Resistance members and 3 droids managed to get on board Ren's Destroyer. Once they got off their ship they started blasting incoming Troopers.
"You three stay in the ship" Rey said.
"Happily" 3PO said as the 4 humans ran into a hall way not knowing where they were going. Suddenly they were stopped by 2 troopers.
"It's ok that we're here" Rey said performing a mind trick on them.
"It's ok that you're here" One trooper repeated.
"It's good" The other said.
"You're relieved that we're here" Rey said waving her hand again.
"Thank goodness you're here"
"Welcome guys"
"We're looking for a prisoner and his belongings" Rey said as the troopers told them where Chewie is.
"You're getting really good with that. I'm proud of you" Axel said kissing his girlfriend on her cheek as she smiled.
The 4 went on their way to rescue Chewie while blasting all the cameras. Just then the two Force Sensitives sensed something.
"The dagger is on this ship" Rey said "We need it"
"You two go rescue Chewie, Rey and will get the dagger" Axel said as the couple ran off.
The couple searched the ship until they entered Kylo Ren's quarters.
"The dagger is in here" Rey said.
The two searched around until Axel's eyes gazed upon the burnt mask and helmet that belonged to the most dangerous being who ever lived. Darth Vader.
Axel slowly approached the helmet. Even though Vader died and was redeemed years ago, he still felt the Dark side surrounding the mask.
Rey slowly approached Axel and stood next to him while looking at the helmet herself.
"Is that-" she asked.
"Darth Vader's mask yes" Axel replied.
Axel stuck out his hand and felt an echo of the Force. He then saw visions of his father in every battle he ever had with the Dark Lord from their first battle on Lothal to their final battle on Kiros. Axel also felt pain coming from his father. It wasn't physical pain. It was emotional. Axel would remember that his father told him he hated fighting against Vader because it hurt him knowing he was fighting against the man he idolized growing up.
Tears started running down Axel's face as he quickly pulled away from the mask.
"What's wrong my love?" Rey asked.
"I felt my dad's pain from the times he fought Vader" Axel said "Everytime they fought the pain only grew worse. I didn't understand it back then. I thought he was just exaggerating. But now I understand what he went through"
Rey held Axel close to comfort him as her boyfriend wiped his tears away.
"Thanks Rey" Axel said "But we need to find that dagger"
The two searched force the dagger until they spotted it with Chewie's belongings. Rey then sensed an echo coming from the dagger and heard a woman screaming.
"No" Rey whispered.
"Rey, Axel"
The couple turned and ignited their blades and saw Ren and Selena through their connection.
"You two are really hard to find and it's annoying" Selena said.
"And you're both hard to get rid of" Rey said.
"We pushed you in the desert because we needed to see it Rey" Ren said "We needed you to see it. Who you are. We know the rest of your story. Rey"
"You're lying" Rey said with tears in her eyes.
"I've never lied to you" Ren said "Your parents were no one. They chose to be. To keep you safe"
"Don't listen to him Rey" Axel said.
"Oh I think you should definitely listen to him Axel" Selena said with a sick smile. "You see, we know something about your pretty little girlfriend that you don't. And when Dad finds out he'll kill her"
"He would never" Axel said.
"I don't want this!" Rey said.
"Search your memories" Ren said
"No!" Rey shouted.
The couple attempted to strike down the Darksiders as they ignited their red blades. For a while Rey fought Ren and Axel fought Selena. The red, blue and purple blades clashed back and forth until they switch opponents. Now Rey was fighting Selena until the two locked blades as Selena laughed.
"Once Axel learns the truth about who you are he'll hate you and desert you" Selena said.
"No, Axel loves me! And I love him!" Rey said.
"I thought he loved me once" Selena said as the clashed blades again until the 4 circled each other.
"They sold you to protect you" Ren said
"Stop talking" Rey said.
"We know what happened to them Rey" Selena said.
The 4 blades clashed again back and forth until they all knocked Vader's mask off its pedestal and right in front of where Ren and Selena were.
"So that's where you are" Ren said.
All 4 of them locked blades together.
"You know why Palpatine's always wanted you two dead" Selena said.
"Why?" Axel demanded.
"We'll come tell you" Ren said as their connection was broken.
"They know we're here, we have to find the others and get out of here" Axel said as the couple ran out of Ren's quarters.
Later the couple went back to the ship and blasted some troopers talking to the droids.
"3PO where are they others?" Axel asked
"They haven't come back" 3PO replied. "Does this happen all the time with you?"
"My family has been in wars for 3 generations now so yeah" Axel replied.
Just then 2 First Order Tie Interceptors landed in the same hanger where the couple was. Kylo Ren and Selena walked out and approached them while being surrounded by Troopers.
The 4 Force Sensitives circled each other until they were on the opposite sides of each other.
"Why did the Emperor come for me? Rey asked "Why did he want to kill a child?"
"Because he saw what you would both become" Ren said "What you and Axel are capable of together. You don't just have power Rey. You have his power. You're his granddaughter...You are a Palpatine"
Both Axel and Rey couldn't believe what they just heard, Axel especially. The woman he loved was related to the most evil human being to ever live.
"Now do you see Axel?" Selena asked. "Dad will find out and try to kill her. But he won't be able to"
"What are you talking about?" Axel said.
"When Luke died, Kylo and I thought Dad was now the most powerful Force Wielder in the galaxy. But he's not, the 4 of us are"
"My mother was the daughter of Vader, your father was the son of the Emperor and Axel and Selena were the Son and Daughter of Archer" Ren said "What Palpatine doesn't know is that we're a Tetrad in the Force. 4 that are one"
"We can kill him together and you 2 can take the Throne" Selena said as Kylo took his mask off "Join us and we can have a fresh start. Forget everything that happened in the past and be a family again. Join us"
Just then the Millennium Falcon flew in behind Rey and Axel.
"You both know what you need to do" Ren said as both he and Selena extended their hands.
"We do" Rey said as the Falcon turned around a thrusted it's engines knocking all the troopers of their feet.
Axel and Rey jumped on the ramp of the ship and they took off into Hyperspace still processing what they just heard
