Author's Note: Hello everyone, here we are with another chapter. Please read and review generously. I hope you all enjoy it. I have news to share. Life has taken another curve for me. My grandmother's health and my own health being tough sucks the life out of writing. And with being so buggy with even my own stories, I am losing interest in the site.

Fear not. I am making a move to permanently go to ao3. Over there, I am planning a Naruto/Korra story, a Naruto/Sailor Moon story, Naruto/Inuyasha story, and possibly a Naruto story and a Naruto/A Song of Ice and Fire short story; lots of stuff. I have to admit, I am tired of writing DC/Marvel stuff. I am too tired of it. I want to move on from writing Naruto/Supergirl.

That being said, I will still write this until I cannot, and I hope to give it a good conclusion. If I am lucky, you will get three seasons of material. Pairings will change and stuff, but it is what it is. I do apologize, but real life, health, and finances must come first. I do not feel like writing much when I see my grandmother suffering. She is my Superwoman. And its tough to see her in pain all the time, with no answer.

Sorry about my rant. Without further ado, let us begin. This chapter is battles and dialogue galore.

Chapter Ten- The Power of Heroes

The Black Manta held his trident in his hand as he assumed his stance. Naruto noticed the harsh, green glow it was emanating. The Trident looked rusted, pitch black in appearance, but Naruto knew the pitiful appearance of the weapon only belied its strength.

Naruto simply stood there as he waited for Manta to do something, anything. And eventually, Manta did. He fired his red beams at Naruto who simply channeled energy to hand and smacked it away. His hand burned, but Naruto did not care. It was time to teach this fool a lesson. And the lesson would be that actions had real consequences.

However, Naruto was not above giving his opponents a chance to withdraw and fight another day. This would be Manta's chance to run away and never come him or his loved ones ever again.

"Go home, David. Go home and live with your loss and failures. You do not need to lose your life needlessly."

"Shut up! I made a promise to give you the same mercy you showed my father, and gut you like the fish you are!"

The Black trident took on another eerie green glow as David slammed it into the ground. The ground quaked and the ocean near them began to boil. And in front of Naruto, strange creatures emerged, looking necrotic and diseased as they began going near the village. Black Manta then picked up the trident and twirled it as a blast of violent, compressed, dark energy hit him in the square chest. It sent him violently into the ground as Naruto felt real pain for the first time.

That Black Trident; it was a weapon that could damage the planet. It had the power to create a global disaster with the ground quaking and the oceans boiling. The negotiations were over. This was a man who was hellbent on revenge. He needed to be stopped, no matter the cost.

"You are right, David. The negotiations are over. I cannot negotiate with something like you. You want to avenge your father that badly that you would damage the planet… that you would endanger innocent life? I will show you what fear tastes like!"

Naruto clenched his fists and closed his eyes. Lightning nature Chakra flowed throughout his body. His muscles got harder and bigger, his reaction speed and reflexes sharper. Lightning bolts formed around him. His raw strength and speed were at another level now. Combined with his physiology, he was ready for battle. This was the Lightning Release Chakra Mode, and he had accessed its full potential. The Black Manta would prove to be the best person to use it on.

"I will never forgive you!"

The creatures that David had summoned had appeared next to Naruto and began firing off dark energy blasts. Some even tried to slash and eat him. Naruto simply grunted as he blasted them away with a bolt of lightning. The others who were not fried, Naruto tore them apart with his bare hands.

"Manta! It is your turn!"

Naruto blasted forward as Manta readied his trident and leapt forward. Brandishing a Kunai, Naruto coated with Lightning Release chakra as the two weapons clashed, creating a shockwave. Manta had pushed Naruto back and fired off an energy wave. Naruto simply dodged it… and nailed a violent elbow into his side as he sent him crashing into the dirt. Before Manta could recover, he was kicked violently across the face, and sent flying high in the air as Naruto brought his hands down on his helmet to give him a smash.

Sensing danger, Manta brought up the trident as Naruto's fists collided with the weapon. Bolts of lightning sparked all around them as Naruto roared. He used his strength to win the exchange as he sent David crashing into the ground.

Naruto decided to goad and taunt David. "Pathetic, this is the extent of your desire for vengeance? I am not even warmed up. Then again, you are weak like your father. You are just killers, that is all. Now, come forth and die!"

Naruto unleashed two kunai and coated them with Lightning Release chakra. David was shaking with rage as he rushed forward. Steel clashed with lightning as shockwaves and bolts of lightning arced and danced around them.

Steel and Lightning repeatedly clashed with one another as David was exerting maximum effort to try to keep up. It was a futile effort. Naruto was carrying this fight and was not even breaking a sweat. This was too easy for him. The taunts would continue as psychological warfare was just as useful to break an opponent down.

"This is boring, David. I killed your father. I made you watch him die. And you still cannot land a single blow on me? Your father and grandfather are weeping in their graves. What a shame!"

"Shut up! Just SHUT UP!" David fired a blast of superheated energy from his eyes. Naruto cocked his fist back and pushed it forward as he punched those eye beams. The blasts split apart and exploded near him. They may have stung his skin, but now, Naruto was confident he could handle them easily.

It was time to end this fight. David was no challenge at all. He would take David in alive. He had questions, questions that needed answers. That suit… and that trident were not ordinary weapons. Someone above David's pay grade gave him access to his weapons, someone with an axe to grind. There was someone out there who wanted to cause to him harm. He needed to learn more.

He was shaken out of his musings when David began punching and kicking him. He was stabbed in the shoulder by the trident… and Naruto simply stared at him. His eyes were glowing as he kicked David away. David then ensnared Naruto in a whip made of pure energy as it wrapped around his body causing him pain.

"I am done fooling around with you. I will spare no expense in dealing with a petty creature like you. I will show you the same mercy you showed my father, and gut you like the fish you are!"

Naruto shook his head. "Your father was a fool, David. He chose suicide over paying for the sins he committed. In the end… the apple does not fall far from the tree. It is unfortunate for you, David. You will not die here. You are needed to answer where you got your fancy toys from."

Naruto grabbed the whip and pulled David closer. Once he was within range, Naruto pulled his arm back and blasted forward, unleashing a devastating clothesline that sent David crashing violently into the dirt. If not for David's awakening of his Atlantean physiology and the armor he wore, he would have been dead or paralyzed completely for that blow. It was too bad that the blow did not kill him.

He got inspiration for the clothesline from WWE. Specifically, from a wrestler who went by the ring name, "JBL". He was a good heel… and his Clothesline from Hell was an excellent finisher. Yet, he would always bitch out when he met "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. It had been years, decades, but Steve Austin was still loved by the crowd. He was part of the Attitude Era, Wrestling's Golden Age. Plus, he was the guy who had the balls to beat the shit out of his own boss. That would endear him to many. After all, vey few bosses were actually worthy of respect and admiration.

Naruto walked back as he raised out his hand. Chakra swirled in his palm, as Naruto compressed it and formed the technique that played a part in defining Namikaze Minato- the Rasengan.

"The living are not done with you yet, David. This technique… is a gift from father to son. I will use his power to defeat you."

Before David could say anything else, Naruto rushed forward and unleashed the Rasengan. The swirling mass of energy and power collided with David as he was engulfed in the Spiraling Sphere of rage and justice. David screamed in pain as the compression of the Rasengan violently pushed David into the ground, creating a large crater.

When the smoke and dust cleared, Naruto was the Victor. David lay in the dirt, alive, but heavily injured and unconscious. Naruto made sure he would stay alive. Death was freedom and mercy. David had the blood of innocents on his hands. He murdered people who did nothing to him. It was bad enough to steal, but to slaughter innocents was something Naruto would never accept. He would interrogate David and gain all answers from him.

Something in his gut told him that his half-brother, Orm, was responsible for all of this, but to what point and purpose? Orm had to know that David could not win this fight, no matter what kind of powers and abilities he gave David. Was this a test… or the beginning of something sinister?

Naruto had taken a look at David's trident. It gave off a green glow and reeked of the smell of blood and death. It needed to be sealed away o destroyed. He would entrust the Trident to Vulko. He would get rid of it for him. He wondered if Atlantis would want to take David in for custody. That would be interesting to see.

Speaking of interesting, he saw lightning and wind swirl around Diana. He had no idea when she had changed into her armor, but he had to admit, she looked hot. She had discarded her leather jacket and he could see the well-defined muscles of her upper body… and those thick legs and plump rear being barely covered by her skirt. He had to wonder if she enjoyed wearing that. Maybe she was an exhibitionist.

Damn… he needed to get his mind out of the gutter and think of something more pleasant. Perhaps… after this day was done… he would go and do a mini-Ramen Mukbang; sodium and savory powers activate. For now, he would enjoy this ass-whooping that was about to unfold. He wished he had a bowl of Ramen in his hand right about now.

Diana had no time for small talk. Her date with her favorite person was ruined now. Not to mention, these Atlanteans had come to do harm to her beloved. She would waste no more time with dialogue… and would spare no expense in teaching these petty fools a lesson.

The lightning and the wind swirled and crackled around her. Her eyes glowed blue as stones were levitating around her. This would be a Grade A ass whooping.

The five commandoes had their water-laser swords drawn, as they were in position, ready to strike.

"It is over, wench. Give up. You are outnumbered and outclassed. There is no escape, no hope for you!"

Diana then spoke. It was cold and deadly. And the Atlanteans felt a shiver down their spines. They did not realize that their time had come.

"No… it is you that will perish. This is my fight. You will pay for trying to harm my beloved… and the people of this village!"

Time seemed to stop for a moment as a bolt of lightning was grabbed by Diana in midair. She landed with the grace of princess and shaped the bolt into a spear. She then launched it at the first commando as she generated a sonic boom with her thrust. The force of the attack had generated a thunderous shockwave as the poor sucker was impaled and launched into a stone wall. He melted into clumps of charred flesh and shattered bone as a crater had formed.

The guards had looked at Diana in horror, but Diana would not let up her assault. The second guard was hit by a volley of fast, sharp blows and then had his spleen crushed… as he puked and vomited himself to death.

The third and fourth soldier did not fare better. Diana grabbed one of them and crushed his head, leaving a mass of twisted flesh and broken bones. The other was held in her steel-like Amazonian grip and then electrocuted to death, leaving nothing but a blackened skull.

Finally, there was one soldier left. He had rushed forward and launched a strike with his sword. The Sword simply broke against her flawless skin. She then looked at him in amusement and then plunged her hand into his chest. She pulled out his spine and watched him die.

She then turned around and saw her beloved standing there in awe. She had walked forward to him and placed a hand on his chest and cheek. Naruto saw there was a tear in her eye and he wiped it away.

"Are you okay, Diana? That was something…"

Diana leaned forward, silencing him with a soft kiss from her ruby-red lips. She closed her mouth around his as time seemed to freeze for them. She wrapped her arms around him and leaned forward, deepening the kiss as she inhaled his scent. She had lost one lover in her life… she would not lose this one. He had fought well and had come out victorious. She had been worried about him.

As for Naruto… he just enjoyed the fact that Wonder Woman had her tongue down his throat. It felt great to receive a kiss and a hug from a beautiful woman… especially a woman he was developing feelings for.

The kiss had lasted five minutes… but Naruto would never forget those five minutes. Diana had broke the kiss and kissed his cheek before placing a hand on it. She looked at him with love in her eyes… and Naruto could not help but kiss her cheek, which made her quite happy.

"I am glad to see you are well."

"Come on… that guy was never beating me."

"No one is invincible, beloved. We live as we die. I know what it is like to lose someone and be powerless to stop it. I cannot lose you as well. Promise me… you will not gamble with your life and be reckless."

Naruto was touched by her concern. He gave her a soft kiss and gave her a hug as well. She rested her face in his shoulders as she held him.

"Do not worry, Diana. I will do no such thing. I… I love you, Princess. I would never do anything to cause you pain."

Perhaps it was the haze of battle… or the feelings this woman had for him… but maybe, it was okay to move on. Maybe, it was fine to love this gorgeous, kind, caring warrior. Maybe, it was time to look forward after all.

Diana smiled in joy and shed tears as she kissed him again. It was tender and soft and sweet. It was tearful and joyous as the two, newly minted lovers were lost in their own world as they wished to get to know each other better. Diana did not want Naruto to forget the feeling of her lips against his. Perhaps, now she could be a warrior… and a lover again. She hoped soon enough she would enjoy and have the sight of that muscular body of his writhing under and over her for a long, long time to come.

As for Naruto, he was enjoying the taste of her lips and her mouth. Soon enough, he would get to enjoy a better taste of her. He looked forward to one day seeing her naked and enjoying the sight of that beautiful body under his own and on top of him. Little did he know, that Diana had the same thoughts.

They broke apart when the villagers clapped and cheered in joy. Some were blushing at the sight of two lovers proclaiming their love for one another.

Naruto then turned to Diana. "We need to bury the Atlanteans. They were following orders. We can give them that."

"I agree. Yet, what to do about the once called Black Manta?"

"Perhaps we can help you there."

Out from the waters, came Vulko, a few Atlantean guards, and a woman of remarkable beauty and poise. Her golden-green armored bodysuit encased a beautiful figure that consisted of a fit upper body and a pair of great legs and a plump ass. Naruto was captivated by the fiery flowing red hair and the crown on her head. She held a trident in her hand and wore a smile befitting a Princess and Warrior in one body, mind, and soul.

This was the Princess Mera, a beautiful lady of Atlantis and one of the most powerful women in existence. Diana had narrowed her eyes at the sight of this woman as Mera looked around at the carnage. The villagers looked at her in awe, and Mera gave them a small smile.

"At last, I finally meet you- the son and first born of beloved Queen Atlanna."

Naruto scoffed as he walked away, but Mera's voice and Diana's hold on his arm stopped him. Diana gave him a look that meant he was to listen.

"Please, I apologize. I am happy to finally meet the man that Vulko has immense respect and care for. It pleases me to know that you have used the powers that she passed on to you for good. It warms me to know that there is one son of hers who has chosen a good path."

Naruto narrowed his eyes. "Wow, you must really have good feelings about her."

Mera nodded. "When my parents fought in war, I had lost my mother. Queen Atlanna loved me like I was one of her own."

"What a saint, huh?"

Mera narrowed her eyes. "You dare speak of Queen Atlanna that way?"

"Your Queen left me on my father's doorstep… and never gave me or him another thought. Who cares what you think about her… I certainly don't."

Mera sighed. "The truth is more complicated than you think. And life is not all black and white. You were the dearest thing to your mother. You can never imagine what it cost her… what it took for her to walk away from you and you father. I sincerely apologize… but I am not here to speak about your mother."

Diana then spoke. "Why are you here then?"

Mera smiled. "Well met, Princess of Themyscira. I came here to apologize to you. These Atlanteans were rogues, acting on behalf of another. I will find out who tried to harm the two of you and they will face Atlantean justice. Let us bury them and honor who they once were. I know our species fought against one another… but I hope the past will not color our interactions in the future."

"You talk as if we will see each other again."

"We might. You never know. As for the one called Manta, I hope you will release him to us. We have ways of extracting the truth. I promise… we will find out who he was working with."

Naruto spoke next. "That's fine. I was going to let you have him anyways."

Mera nodded as she spoke again. "Goodbye for now, Naruto. I hope this is not the last time we meet again."

"Wait… what do you know about this trident?"

Mera had a grimace on her face. "It is a weapon of evil. It will be sealed away where it can do no harm to anyone again. Good bye, Naruto."

Vulko nodded to Naruto as the party disappeared with Manta and the broken Atlanteans. Diana had given Naruto a look.

"What?"

"You were staring at that woman quite intently. For a man who dislikes Atlanteans, you seemed to enjoy staring at the Princess' lower body."

"What can I say, I love staring at the female form? I mean… her legs are thick… and her ass so plump…"

Diana cracked her knuckles and smiled. "I suggest you take back those words."

"Nah, my mouth moves without me talking. Catch me if you can, sucker."

As Naruto ran away, Diana called after him. "You get back here, Uzumaki Naruto! I will show you the punishment for ogling!"

As Diana ran after him shooting lightning bolts… the villagers shook their heads. This was golden entertainment.
