We start off with some static, then a blurry image starting to get sharper and sharper. Until we see the image of a young Dominican-American teenager.

"This thing on? Yes? All right. Well, this is Luz Noceda again…and it's been a long time since I updated my video diary. Not since we went back to the Boiling Isles. I will do a special entry for those events but for now, I'll keep it short: We saved everyone, we befriended the Collector, and defeated Belos. Oh and I briefly died and basically met God before I was sent back with a new super powered magical girl form based around the Titan. That was so awesome!

Less awesome is that it took the last power of the Titan and his soul is gone. The glyphs no longer work, so I can't use magic the normal way again. But we managed to stop Belos from taking over the entire Boiling Islands through the Heart of the Titan which would have killed everyone…what a dick!

Anyhow, I can't use my normal magic again, but I still want to find a different way of using magic. I figured it out before, can do it again. It just…may take a while. But now, I'm quite frankly pooped and need a long nap."

We see Luz appear back on screen, this time holding a thick notepad.

"I figured out that as long as Stringbean is with me, I can use magic. But while in the Boiling Isles it works fine, on Earth using too many spells put a strain on Stringbean. And I don't want Stringbean to get hurt, hence I want to try to use my own magic. Also in case Stringbean and I get separated somehow. Anyhow I have been drawing new glyphs to see if I can figure out new ones. "None of them are successful, but I like the looks of these still."

Luz turned her notepad at the camera, and then flipped the pages rapidly, so fast that it was like a movie playing. It started with her standard light glyph, each new picture altering slightly so the glyphs started changing forms rapidly. Then the glyps broke apart into two pieces and became silhouettes of Luz and Amity whom started dancing, and it ended with a kiss. Luz blushed as she looked at the last picture.

"Er…I may have gotten distracted in the end." Luz said, blushing with an awkward grin. "Please don't blame me, I'm a hormonal teen in a relationship with a beautiful and wonderful girl. You know, I'm going to see Amity now."

When Luz made her next entry, she had her little familiar Stringbean with her.

"Hello, video diary. Meet Stringbean. I may have mentioned her before. She is currently my means of using magic. Say hello, Stringbean!"

The little purple flying snake creature tilted her head as she looked at the camera. She flew closer and stuck out her tongue to smell it. "This is her first time seeing a camera, isn't a pet's curiosity adorable?" Stringbean opened her little mouth and opened her mouth. "No, don't eat that!"

The entry was interrupted by static and we see Luz and Stringbean back on screen. "I got the camera working again…and disinfected. Now, promise that you don't just put things in your mouth if you don't know what it is, okay?" Luz asked her familiar.

Stringbean looked a bit sheepish and nodded meekly. "Oh, I can't stay mad at you." Luz said as she scratched Stringbean's chin as she let out a sound that can be described as a mix between a purr and a hiss.

"Anyhow, I am working on something. Using Stringbean and Vee's shed skin, a gemstone my friends provided and a bit of brainstorming between everyone, I managed to knit it into this neat glove." Luz held up a purple fingerless gloves with a small gemstone woven into it. It appeared to be made of reptilian leather. "I have tried to draw glyphs or spell circles, and I feel something, but it doesn't cast the spell, but at least I'm on to something. Best to delve into it later."

Luz sat there, now her left hand, aside the fingers, wrapped in bandages. "The glove didn't work out like I wanted to. It caught fire when I thought I was close to making a spell. Luckily I was able to remove it quickly. Though I look badass with these bandages." Luz said as she clenched her bandaged fist, but a pained look appeared in her face. "Ouch…better be gentle. Another good thing is Amity giving lots of kisses to make it better. Er, mind out of the gutter…"

Luz pulled out a few papers. "But we got a few new plans for a better device to channel magic. My sweet potato and her dad are using their Abomination-Steampunk engineering to create better gauntlets for me. And King would provide his own Titan blood to see if he can power it like the key. The key was old but as magical as ever before it broke. So it means the gauntlets won't run out of juice as easily. Well, all we need to do now is wait until they get a functional prototype. I still need to look in other stuff but that would be a great step towards my goal."

The vid was now not in Luz's room but outside, in a field of sorts without many onlookers. "Am I holding it right?" the voice of Gus sounded.

"You're doing fine, Gustopher! Anyhow, video diary entry…er, did I ever start counting them. Never mind, the first test with the first prototype of gauntlets." Luz said as she made some distance between the screen and herself, so they could see Amity, with a few of her abominations holding a pair of gauntlets. "And for the first time in these vids, including the lovely Amity Blight!" Luz got down on one knee and waved her hands. "The cotton candy goddess, the Warrior Queen of Abomination witches, the Empress of my heart…"

Amity blushed. "Luz, while I normally like your sappy proses, please focus on the testing?"

"All right." Luz said as she got up. "Gauntlet me, please!" Luz said as she held out her hands. The Abominations put the gauntlets on her…Then her arms immediately dropped to the ground, pinned like she tried to lift Mjolnir with both her hands. "Oof, got some weight to them. No worries, just have to get used to…" she said as she tried to pull the gauntlets up, but to no avail. She tried to walk backwards, and drag the gauntlets along, before slipping and falling to her back, gauntlets still in place.

"Oh…how did we not notice that flaw?" Amity wondered.

"After that first test…well, nothing to worry about, things rarely go right on the first attempt…we got the second prototypes and I can at least lift them." Luz said as the smaller but still bulky gauntlets were on her arms. "All right, ready the targets, sweetie!"

"Ready!" Amity said as she created a few small Abominations holding a bullseye.

Luz took aim and gestured with her gauntlets. "Ok, now which one was the fire button again?" She pressed a few buttons on the palms of the gauntlet's hand parts…it let out a big fiery burst, but the recoil knocks Luz across the field, and off screen.

"LUZ!" Amity ran off screen, and Gus, still holding the camera follows along with her. "Are you okay?"

"Nothing that a few magical kisses would heal." Luz said, whom still smiled in her own silly seductive way. She luckily only had a few scrapes. After all, she had worse in the past.

"I don't have to kiss you solely when you get hurt. You get kisses anytime you ask." Amity noted.

"True, but it's fun this way." Luz said.

Gus sighed. "I know you are madly in love but can you go two seconds without flirting."

"No!" both Luz and Amity said in unison, very bluntly.

The next vid, Luz is aiming a pair of smaller gauntlets at the targets, and a magic blast comes out and hits them, with minimal recoil this time. "Yes! The prototypes work!" Luz said as she pumped her fists. "It works! It works! Oh yeah, it works!" she dances around.

Only that when she thrusts her arms down during one of her dances, she was launched in the air for a bit, but landed in a nearby haybale. "I'm ok!" Luz said as she crawled out, pieces of hey stuck in her hair. Amity approached Luz as Luz resumed. "Hey, could use a healing k-" Amity interrupted her with a nice big kiss on the lips.

"Crikey!" Luz noted.

"Thought we'd skip the dialogue this time and get to business." Amity said with a grin.

"I really need to remove the word 'crikey' from my vocabulary." Luz said, half dazed and blushing.

Gus sighed again. "I need a girlfriend."

"All right, I'm back to filming at home and we got a successful prototype." Luz said as she showed off a bracelet. She pushed it and it expanded into a gauntlet. "It is an extra weapon that allows me to use magic everywhere. Even if Stringbean is tired or unavailable, I have something to fall back up on. Sure I can loose the bracelet too, but I still got one more option compared to a few months ago."

She let the gauntlet collapse back into a bracelet. "I'm still going to check other options, as it helps to have more then one. But at least I look a bit more badass. Well, it was a fruitful day, so I'm going to catch some Z's now."

"Has been a while since my last video…again. School, rebuilding the isles and catching up on some slice of life dates I promised Amity…not that it was bad, it was stuff I needed to get done."

Luz smiled softly as she reminisces about her day. "I got to the Boiling Isles, caught up with everyone. After passing my exams I wanted to apply to Eda's Academy of Wild Magic. Though they threw me a belated quinceañera. I did spend the last few years passing up my birthday helping with the rebuilding of the BI. Not that I cared, the gift of friends and family was enough. Though I really appreciate the effort of a BI-style twist on the traditional quinceañera."

"Everyone was here from my friends and family. The Collector even made an appearance and he knows how to put up a light show. I think it was my best birthday ever, with everyone here with my family, both families in fact, the rest of the 'Hexsquad' and all my other friends from the BI. I'm getting a separate party with my human friends which may not measure up, but I'll still have fun. Besides, Vee misses her Nobi friend. No doubt me and Masha will be in-laws someday."

Luz bit her lower lip slightly. "Everyone got me nice gifts but Amity later gave me one in private, between the two of us." She blushed harder then before. "I need a cold shower!"

There was some static as the scene cut to the next.

"Sorry about that. Just that Amity and I…nevermind. I still had to mention the most important part." Luz held up the Titan Blood core of her gauntlets and a piece of paper with a new cat-eared glyph. She touched the glyph and it became a ball of light. "King's powers grew and he discovered his first glyphs. A new glyph language and a new way for me to tap into magic. The Gauntlets and Stringbean do great, but I really missed the glyphs. Well, different glyphs but still glyphs. One of my first projects at my new college will be the discovery and applications of the new glyphs me and King will unlock. I can barely hold my excitement.

Life is going well. Tomorrow is a new day with infinite possibilities. I hope I'll be able to sleep, with the thoughts of glyphs and new magic, a new school and…Amity…dang, mind out of the gutter, Luz!"

"Well, I guess I don't need the glyphs anymore. Something unexpected happened." Luz said as she created a new ball of light, but didn't need to have Titan Blood on her or draw anything. She just willed the little ball of light into existence. "The Boiling Isles had been far too quiet for the past few years. At least for what counts as quiet for that funky place. I learned that as King's power grew and more glyphs were discovered, I unlocked a few more things of my own."

Luz ran her hands through a dark purple streak in her hair. Then she smiled to show off that she now sported a fang in her mouth. She touched the tip of the fang with the tip of her index finger. "I think a little bit of the Titan had remained inside me all this time. But with the previous Titan gone, my powers went dormant. But as King gets stronger…it must have due to my and King's connection as siblings in all but blood. And the blessing of King's dad."

"Honestly, I don't mind. Normal was never on the table for me. I'm still Luz Noceda. I'm a daughter, a friend, a hero, a witch…" she rubbed a ring around her finger. "A fiancée…" she looked at it fondly. "To me and them it is just going to be another part of me, another fun quirk. I'm still studying the glyphs so that others have a chance to witness the wonders of magic without having to be born witches or blessed by a Titan. And it is interesting stuff still."

"Going to graduate soon and then there is an entire world…two entire worlds of possibilities for me. More of the Isles to explore, other Titans, solving mysteries in the human realm, the truth behind legends in the human realm which may have a base in the Demon Realm. Acting as ambassador…or just attending a few Azura conventions, hanging out with friends and going out with my beloved Amity. Still need that slice of life."

"Well, the next few days are going to be much busier. So the next entry may be a while. But I'll let you know about developments, dear video diary. And no doubt about it, knowing my crazy life it's gonna be wild!"

With that Luz reached out and turned off the recording. A new day awaits her, and everyone's fav Afro-Latina was going to enjoy it.

Throwing my hat in the ring for Owl House fanfiction.

The Owl house is my fav cartoon and as near perfect of a show as you can get. With the best pairing beign my OTP Lumity. Its due to being good I never thought of making fanfiction. But now the show is over (me a bit sad) I decided to throw my hat in the ring. Like my recent RWBY and Harry Potter snippet stories it will be only occassional update, with whatever idea I have at the time, but if my other projects don't take off, I may expand this further.

At least people hope to enjoy this first I came up with. The first time writing the Owl House and I'm both nervous and excited. Hope I did good. If not, I hope to improve. Because one cannot improve if one doesn't try.

Can say Luz is fun to write. I love to write loveable dorks. XD
