The Front Lines: L.T. Season 01 Episode 02

We see a Woman riding on a rocket with the authorities trying to catch her but she'd been able to out manuver them due to her being able to fit in smaller spaces and she'd used a smoke gun to get them off of her back. We then see Gossamer moving in from behind her ready to take over the persuit.

"About time." The woman spoke spotting Gossamer behind her. "Fast men, faster vehicles, it's almost heaven. Let's burn." She'd stated cranking up the speed with Gossamer still keeping pace. She'd started manuvering around the city trying to shake them but Gossamer wasn't so easily shaken it would seem. "Alright fly boy let's see you handle this manuver."

She'd flown into a construction tube and Gossamer had continued past going straight for her through the other side and she'd had to manuver around them at the last second. "This woman's crazy, any suggestions?" Spider-Man question from inside Gossamer while trying to relocate her.

"Break off for now, Gossamer's got enough footage for us to use as research." Peter answered back while petting Ace.

"Copy that." He'd answered firing a tracer out at them and breaking off persuit because her flying was getting sporatic and they didn't want anyone getting hurt.

"Thanks for a great first date." The woman called blowing a kiss after she'd noticed they were no longer chasing her.

Back at The Nest Terry had landed and gotten out of Gossamer removing his mask and walking over asking "So, anything on our Adrenaline Junkie?" while kneeling down and petting Ace.

"Roxanne Sutton, a.k.a. Roxy Rocket. She was a stuntwoman for Jennifer Westing in all her action movies." Peter began to explain about who the woman was supposed to be. "Some say she did stunts for some of the men too."

"Seems kinda fearless." Terry stated watching the video feed of things she'd done for the movies.

"And there inlies the problem. She started making the stunts more dangerous than they needed to be. The danger of the work became more important than the work itself, and finally she'd lost work entirely because no company would insure her anymore." Peter explained about why she wasn't doing films anymore.

"So she's either addicted to the thrill, or acting out some sort of revenge." The dark haired young man stated in response to what he was hearing.

"Possibly a little of both. She's gonna need to fence the stuff she's stolen, we should find out who the buyer is." The older man stated to him about what they should do next.

"I got a tracer on the rocket, but no way she's taking it to her buyer. Still, will help us know when she's about to show up next." Terry then stated to them "You got that meeting today about the art piece, how about placing a tracer on that?"

"Now you're starting to think like a spider." Peter stated back about Terry's plan on how to find Roxy and the buyer.

"Or a cat." Terry then spoke while looking over to beside him at Gossamer slyly which made Peter raise an eyebrow at that one.

"You're gonna be a dangerous contender when you officially hit the Front Lines Terry." His Mentor figure then stated to him.

"Guess I get that from my folks." He'd answered back and went to change out of costume and into his work clothes.

Terry had driven Peter to the company where they'd been showing off an art piece that had been bougt as a part of the company's aquisitions though it looked terrible it was also expensive. There was unimpressed mummerings. Something set off Peter and Terry's Spider Senses and they'd both ducked out of the way with Roxy crashing through the window on her rocket which she'd landed on the board table.

"Now if no body gives me trouble this will be quick and painless." Roxy called out holding her smoke gun up in the air.

"Go to work." Peter whispered to Terry who nodded and slipped away while everyone else was up against the wall and door with him at the back.

She'd taken the painting and put it into her saddle bag on her rocket before firing something from her gun that exploded into fireworks in the shape of a spider and Spider-Man appeared swinging around the building "See you got my invitation, let's Rumba."

"This woman is crazy." Spider-Man stated as Roxy took off in her rocket and he'd given chase swinging after her while using boosters in his suit to help keep up with how fast she was going, though he wasn't going to catch her it was just to keep up appearances.

Roxy had flown down into a tunnel skidding across the top of a large truck's trailer as she does so with Spider-Man continuing to persue her. She was about to shoot at Spider-Man again but he'd used his webbing to gunk up the barrel surprising her but then she'd turned and flown faster to put distance between them.

When they were back out in the open Spider-Man threw a Spiderrang at Roxie striking into the outer part of the engine turbine and causing it to electrify both the engine and Roxy at the same time. The Engine had died and she was falling fast and that was a problem.

"C'mon Rox, pull up pull up!" She'd told herself managing to crash land and skid partially across one of the higher up floors of a construction site. She'd then kicked the rocket once she'd stopped, and then taken the art piece and ran with Spider-Man swinging down into the construction site after spotting her trashed rocket.

Roxy had climbed to the top of the construction site as high as she could go and began to run only to bump into Spider-Man who'd been there waiting. "You missed your calling Spider-Man you should have been in the movies." She'd told him.

"Give it up Roxy." Spider-Man stated to her while standing there in her way so that she couldn't get anywhere else.

"Oh, I'm afraid that that's just not in my nature." Roxy stated back while she began to back up since she couldn't go forwards.

"It's not in my nature either." He'd stated watching her moves carefully to be ready in case something else happens.

"Oh, but that's what makes us the perfect couple." She'd stated holding up the artwork before calling "Catch." throwing it off the unfinished building. Spider-Man however webbed the painting and pulled it back over to him in response without taking his focus off of her. "Well that's no fun." She'd then stated before pressing a button on her watch that caused her rocket to explode bringing down the construction around them.

This had made Spider-Man drop the artwork accidentally as he'd been reacting to the explosion and Roxy had dashed forwards grabbing it landing on a large balloon before bouncing off of it and sliding down one of the ropes holding it into place landing on the ground easily. Spider-Man meanwhile had swung over to the next building over and Roxy blew him a kiss before escaping by snatching someone's unattended hover bike.

"Mission accomplished, Target has the package and is en route to buyer." Spider-Man then stated into his com after Roxy had been long gone. "Now we play the waiting game."

Later on Peter had been checking out the computer on where the art piece had been taken and dropped off at while Terry was at home having dinner with his mom and little brother. "You two haven't told anyone right?" He'd questioned.

"I can't say that I approve Terry but you're eighteen and can make your own decisions. I respect that." Mary, his mom told him about what they were discussing.

"It's not like anyone is going to believe me even if I did. They'd all call me a liar, and no thanks." Matt, his little brother, then added to that as well. "Still it's cool that my older brother is Spider-Man now."

After dinner Terry had been called by Peter and he'd thrown on the costume before swinging away from their apartment. We then see a man preparing for bed opening a mirror to get something and closing it back up and seeing Spider-Man in the reflection and he'd turned in time to be grabbed by their shirt collar before dragged out of the bathroom and thrown over onto the bed.

"Blackie Gaxton, here I thought you were out of the game." Spider-Man stated to them while then walking into the main area where the bed was. "See you gave your muscle the night off."

"What's it to you?" This Blackie guy questioned about why he was there in his apartment unable to read Spider-Man face due to the mask.

"Could be dangerous. After all you never know who might drop in unannounced." He'd stated to the man.

"Ya, so what do you want?" Blackie questioned just why he was there while getting up and moving away from Spider-Man without taking his eyes off them.

"Roxy Rocket. I believe you've seen this." He'd stated showing them a diamond ring. "If I'm not mistaken it's from that private sky transport robbery. You really shouldn't keep hot merch on hand."

Blackie had hit a button to make a gun launch from a spring loaded hole in the floor but Spider-Man webbed it too the top of the wall so he couldn't reach before stating "Now, how about we have a little talk. I'm told you're the guy to go to for information by the old Cluster Gang." He'd spoken to them making Blackie nervous.

We then cut to an airforce field where Gossamer was headed straight for a hanger with Peter stating "Well, that got dark quick." while spoke into Terry's ear about his intimidation tactics for dealing with Blackie.

"Ya, I uh, I got no idea where that came from." The Spider themed hero stated back while Pulling Gossamer over and going into the hanger seeing Roxy on a new rocket powering up.

"Lights! Camera! Action!" She'd called while reving up the jet and taking off ramming through the hanger door as she does so.

"Let's see how Roxy does when she's up against her own ride." Spider-Man spoke jumping onto a spare rocket and chasing after her with it.

"Gossamer on standby for remote control access." His mentor told him sending Gossamer to follow a distance away.

Roxy looked back seeing Spider-Man still giving chase and she says "I love a man with staying power." but then takes out a different weapon to the one she usually used blasting at the jet he was on. "Unfortunately it's the third act climax and you're not in the final scene."

He'd used a webline to snag her rocket and she'd noticed him swinging upwards stating "Oh you're good." Roxy pressed a button that locked the controls in place and thrown off her jacket turning towards Spider-Man.

"What are you doing?" The Spider Themed hero questioned as she'd finished turning around facing towards him.

"Testing your true metal Spider-Man. You jump now you'll land in the water." Roxy stated looking at him with flirty eyes.

"And if I don't?" He questioned back while the two continued to fly farther over the water below them.

"You'll either crash into the wall, or hit the ground ahead." She'd stated moving a hand uner his chin as if this was her way of flirting with him.

"But then, so will you." Spider-Man reminded her about the fact they were both on this ride at the moment.

She'd laughed stating "Now you're starting to understand the game." as the two continued getting closer to the canyon wall "Tick Tock, Time is running out."

Spider-man however just stat there doing nothing while Peter stated "Man, and here I thought Felecia was an Adrenalin Junkie."

"Better make your move." Roxy then told him but Spider-Man didn't move at all starting to worry her because of how close they were.

This made Roxy nervous and she'd gone to press something on the jet but Spider-Man grabbed her by the wrist asking "What's the matter I thought you enjoy taking risks."

That. Got. Things. Very weird, and very fast. Roxy had seemed to actually be getting more excited as they were just about to crash calling out "Yes, Yes, YES!" as they'd done so with Spider-Man then jumping off at the very last second and Gossamer came in picking the two up as they were falling which killed her high of the moment. "Oh I get it, live to play another day." We hear the sound of handcuffs clicking and she'd looked down seeing her hands in cuffs that were shaped like a spider with four legs over each wrist and she'd asked "What's this?"

They hear the sirens of Plumbers and Police coming through the distance with Spider-Man stating "It's my kind of game. And you've lost." Which made her pout hearing she'd be sent off into custody now.
