Kido, after the events of the anime, was suggested to write in a diary to vent out emotionally when she didn't want to talk to anyone else. even after the snakes plans were stopped, strange things had been happening and no one knows why. it's like reading her diary first hand with everything described from how they were seen, ranging from everyday life to the off happenings

Chapter 58: Hibiya becomes a teen

Date: 4th November 20XX

Time: 10:47pm

Dear diary

We ended up going to a local ball pit and it was completely embarrassing to see everyone run around as though they were all 13 too, I wonder whose idea it was to take him to this place. Hibiya seemed to enjoy himself a little, even though I could tell that he was distracted by Hiyori and his desires to go looking for her. But for now, all we can do is make sure that we celebrate his birthday together.

There were loads of snacks for everyone and the birthday cake was nice, it was a big chocolate cake with a thick frosting. The picture on the cake was a colourful "13" and had 13 candles around it. He blew the candles and, as it should be, didn't tell anyone his wish. He didn't have to say, but I think everyone knows what wish he made.
