Ladybug stood in front of her, holding an all-to-familiar box out in front of the pigtailed bluenette.

Marinette interning groaned. Why was this happening to her? She wanted no part in this superhero business.

"Sorry to drop in on you like this: but can I ask you for a small favor?" Ladybug gives Matinette a sheepish smile and the blueberry just stared right back at her.

"But what could you need my help for?" She could help but sound a bit uneasy and nervous. Why was Alya asking her of all people? After all, she was the one who had given Tikki up in the first place. But her friend didn't need to know that.

Ladybug gave her an amused look and a confident smile. "Because I have total faith in you, that's why I'm asking you for help Marinette."

Marionette sighed softly but gave the best confident smile that she could muster at the moment.

"I'll give it my best shot Ladybug." She gave the black and red spotted superhero a small smile.

"Marinette Dupain-Cheng, here is the Miraculous of the Fox, which grants the power of illusion. You will Jude it for the greater good. Once the job is done, you will return the Miraculous to me. The Can I trust you?"

Marinette nodded her head and grabbed the box from the spotted hero. "You can totally trust me Ladybug." She said before opening the lid of the box.

Upon opining the lid of the Miraculous box, a bright orange light flashed an a little fox kwami appeared.

"Hi there kit! My name is Trixx, and I'm your kwami." The little fox kwami gave Marinette a cheeky, fox-like grin, her violet eyes gleaming.

"Ready to become a superhero?" Ladybug asked the bluenette, smiling softly at her and putting her hands on her shoulders.

Marinette nodded her head and put the fox tail necklace around her her neck. She smiled up at Trixx, who gave her a wide smile.

"You just need to say one thing, "Trixx, Let's Pounce!"

Marinette smirked and met her kwami's violet gaze with own bluebell gaze. "Trixx, Let's Pounce!" She called out as the little fox kwami flew into the Miraculous once she had spoken the transformation phrase.

Ladybug watched in awe as Marinette's body became enveloped in light, Her body getting covered in white and orange fabric, accented with black tights. Alya forced herself to look away with an awkward cough. "So how's it feel?"

"It feels... right." Marinette looked up at the heroine of Paris with bright eyes that sent a shiver through Ladybug's spine. Marinette crossed her hands behind her back and drew a little closer a mischievous smile on her lips.

"Thank you for giving me this chance Ladybug." The fox heroine responded with a bright golden in her her bluebell eyes.

The red and black spotted hero smiled widely and gave Marinette a mocking view. "So my little foxy friend, what shall I, Ladybug, call you?" Her grin was teasing as she winked playfully at her.

Marinette giggled softly to herself and put a gloves hand under her chin in thought. "Hmm... I guess I'll go with... Vixennette." She eventually decided on a name.

Ladybug smirked and motioned with one of her hands to the fight going on only a few feet away from where the two heroines were standing. "Come on little vixen, let's go give the little kitty cat a helping hand."

Vixennette nodded her head and followed after Ladybug as she swung away with a flick of her wrist. As she soared away, Marinette smiled warmly to herself.

As she leaped across the rooftops, Marinette couldn't help but laugh in delight. She felt like she could handle being a fox. She could help Ladybug and Cat Noir in fending off Hawkmoth's Akuma butterflies.

This time she wouldn't turn away. This time, Marinette knew that she could help in the fights without having a lot of pressure placed on her shoulders.
