Changeling – Chapter 18
I was in that state between sleep and full wakefulness. I could feel gentle kisses being planted on my right shoulder, slowly trailing up my neck to my ear. As I slowly came awake I realized that I was on lying on my left side and Sandra was spooning me, her right arm thrown over my waist.
I hummed in pleasure as the kisses started trailing back down toward my shoulder again.
"I could get used to this." I mumbled with a small smile.
"So could I." Sandra replied. "Your mom knocked earlier and said that breakfast was ready and to come down when we were ready."
"Can't I just stay in bed with you today?"
"Sounds good to me." She replied. "But you need to talk to Noah. So, we need to get up, get dressed, eat breakfast, and I'll drive you to go see him."
"Isn't he at school?" I asked, confused.
Sandra laughed. "Love, it's Saturday!"
I was a bit shocked, I had lost track of my days during my depression.
"Don't worry Baby!" She said, climbing out of bed. "You'll talk to Noah, straighten things out, and we'll come back here for supper and maybe, if you're a good girl, I'll spend the night again."
Talking to Noah was something I both desired... and dreaded. But from what Sandra had told me, I may not have lost him after all.
I tried calling and texting him several times, but he wasn't picking up. Well, if Mohammed won't go to the mountain, then the mountain must go to Mohammed.

It seemed strange to visit Noah's apartment in Lima Heights in the middle of the day. The light revealed more that I was comfortable with. Old, weathered bricks that made up the face of the apartments, each building nearly identical to its neighbor. I was nervous as we approached Noah's front door, but not because of how the neighborhood was supposed to be a high crime area, but because I was about to see Noah for the first time in weeks.
Sandra was standing behind me when I knocked on the door. It took about 20 seconds, but Noah's sister, Sarah, answered the door. When she saw me, her jaw dropped, and her eyes widened just before she leapt forward and wrapped her arms around me in a tight hug. Startled, it took me a few seconds before I hugged her back.
"Oh my god Kayleigh, Noah told us what happened! Are you okay?"
I nodded and said, "I am now, but I wasn't for a while. Is Noah home? He wasn't answering his phone."
Sarah let go of me. "I'll go get him!"
She then turned and went back into the house yelling, "Noah, your girlfriend is here!"
I froze. I couldn't take a single step into their house. But then the decision was taken out of my hands when Sarah gently pushed me into the apartment and shut the front door. I was extremely uncomfortable, fidgeting in place, not knowing what to expect. I was still standing there when Noah came out of the hallway to the left and stopped, looking right at me, with a stoic expression on his face.
Our eyes locked and I tried to read the emotions I saw there, but I couldn't. There were too many of them all mixed together. I was like a deer in the headlights of an oncoming car; frozen, unable to move, my eyes locked with his. It couldn't have been long, maybe 10 seconds or so when he tilted his head back toward the hallway before turning and disappearing into it, all without saying a word.
My body was moving before my brain could initiate a single thought, following Noah toward the back of the apartment. I saw four doors, two on the right side of the hall, one at the end, and one on the left, both the end one and the one on the left were shut. The door on the left had a painted rainbow over a white unicorn with a golden horn, and the name 'Sarah' painted in black on the rainbow. The first open door turned out to be the bathroom. But the second revealed Noah standing just inside holding the door. I walked in, looking around the room.
There was a neatly made full sized bed with a metal frame, headboard, and footboard. Next to the bed was a discolored nightstand that seemed to have once been stained a dark color, but now was chipped and scratched. In the corner from there was what looked to be an antique dresser, not that I know anything about antiques. On the floor next to the dresser was some free weights, probably the source of all of Noah's yummy muscles. There was a small computer desk with no computer, just an open textbook and an open notebook next to it.
Hanging from the ceiling were those plastic airplane models that you put together from kits. Some had propellers and some were jets. On the walls were the obligatory posters, but none of them were the expected Sports Illustrated Swimsuit models. According to the wording on the posters, one was of an F-22 Raptor, and the other was an F-35 Lightning II. The two other posters on Noah's wall left me speechless... because they were of me. One was of me in my Cheerio's uniform with my head thrown back and eyes closed, laughing. I had no idea of why I was laughing, because I was the only thing in focus, so I had no context. The other was a collage of many different candid pictures of me. I had no idea that someone had been taking pictures of me.
"I had those made by someone I know in the AV Club." Noah said in an even voice.
I turned to look at him just as he closed the door. He still wore the same, blank, expression as before.
"You hurt me." He said softly, and I could feel the truth in his words.
I lowered my eyes to the floor as I felt shame wash through me.
"I know, I'm sorry." I said, my voice barely above a whisper.
"I didn't understand why you would push me away when all I wanted to do was comfort you. Then, you wouldn't answer my calls or texts, and your mom told me that you didn't want to see me. I got upset, then I got angry. I didn't know what to do, so I called Mike and talked to him about what was going on. He told me that he couldn't be certain, not without talking to you, but that it sounded like you had PTSD. He also mentioned that you might have a self-worth issue."
I nodded my head. "I'm sorry." I said again before I continued, "But right after I was attacked, all I could think about was people finding out about me and how that would affect your dream of flying fighter jets. I didn't want that to happen, and I felt the only way was to try and break up with you."
I heard him sigh, then say, "Did you forget about when I told you that I don't see a life for me without you in it? I could live without flying fighter jets as long as I could fly. But I need you, Kayleigh."
"But you had this stony face thing going on when I showed up, I thought that you were going to kick me out of your house." Then I shrugged. "Not that I would have blamed you."
"I wasn't sure that you hadn't shown up to tell me that you wanted to break up with me."
I didn't realize I was crying until I actually saw tears falling on his floor, leaving wet splatters there. "I wasn't in a good place then Noah. Carla tried to tell me that I shouldn't do anything rash, at least, not until I was better. But I didn't listen to her. That's when I wrote you that letter."
"I know. I got it, read it, then burned it."
"Good."
"So, are you going to break up with me?"
I took a deep, shuddering breath and answered him. "I don't want to, but I'd understand if you wanted to break up with me. I tried to break up with you and I hurt you."
"I don't want to break up with you Kayleigh. There's nothing in this world I want more than you. If I had my way, you'd never leave this room."
I felt hope swell in my chest, and I looked up at him. He smiled at me and opened his arms. I flew across the space between us and wrapped my arms around his waist. And when he wrapped his around me, it felt like coming home.
He picked me up and carried me to his bed. He sat down with his back against the headboard, which was probably very uncomfortable, but he didn't complain. I curled up in his lap like I'd normally do and pressed the side of my head against his chest. I could feel the warmth of him burning away the last of my unease as I listened to his heartbeat and his breathing.
I don't know how long we lay there, just talking. First, we settled things between us, getting ourselves back to where we were. Although Noah did mention that I hadn't had any of the spankings that I had already earned. Maybe on our next date.
There was a knock on the door, and we heard Sandra's muffled voice clearly, "Kayleigh? We need to get home soon, your mother called and said that she'd ordered supper and if we wait too much longer, the food will get cold. So, put your clothes back on and let's go!"
I gasped at her words, and then Noah said, "Just a minute, she's having a hard time getting her pants back on!"
I gasped again, raised myself up to look at Noah, shocked, and cried out, "Noah!"
He just grinned and I heard two sets of giggles outside the door. I blushed knowing that Noah's sister, Sarah, had heard everything.
We got off the bed and, before I could open the door, Noah spun me around and planted a heated kiss on my lips that made my toes curl. While we were kissing, he picked me up so that my feet no longer touched the floor, then spun me around before letting me go and breaking our kiss. While I was still recovering, breathless, Noah opened the door to reveal both Sandra and Sarah looking into the room.
Noah took my hand and pulled me out of his room, where he suddenly turned and kissed me again, making me gasp, giving him the perfect opportunity to push his tongue into my eager mouth. My arms automatically wrapped around him, as his did me. This went on for long, glorious, seconds. Of course, I was breathless and in a bit of a daze when we finally broke our kiss. I heard giggling again and wondered what Sarah was going to tell her mother. After all, I had just spent several hours with Noah in his bedroom... with the door closed.
"Wow! I guess you two did make up!" Sandra exclaimed.
By this point I had recovered somewhat, so I nudged Noah and, when he looked at me, I flicked my eyes toward Sandra and stepped out of the way. Noah grinned, stepped toward Sandra, scooped her up into his arms and kissed her passionately. I grinned, sure now that, at some time while I was in my depressed state, they had grown closer and the adjective "like" had changed to "love". I heard Sarah gasp and saw that her jaw had dropped and was looking at Noah and Sandra with wide eyes. I wonder what she was going to tell her mother now.
x~x~x~x~x
While Sarah drove us home, I was feeling much better about myself. So, I asked, "Hey Love? Can you let everyone know that Noah's birthday party is still on for Tuesday?"
Sandra glanced at me worriedly before pulling her eyes back to the road. "Are you sure Baby?"
"Yeah. It's going to be at my house, and I'll know everyone that will be there, so I'll be okay."
"If you're sure Beautiful."
I reached over and put my hand on Sandra's leg. "I'm sure Gorgeous."
The huge grin on her face made my heart sing. I still didn't feel like being alone, so I asked, "You're spending the night again, aren't you? Please?"
Her grin still in place, she said, "Maaayyyybbbeeee."
I moved my hand a little further up her thigh and, giving her a puppy dog look said, "Pllleeeeeaaasseeee?"
Sandra tried to look grumpy, but the corners of her mouth were turning up. "You're not playing fair."
I just grinned and then leaned against her, but not enough to interfere with her driving. I didn't move my hand though.
x~x~x~x
My mom was happy that Noah and I had reconciled. She also admitted that Noah had impressed her by staying faithful to me even though I tried to kick him to the curb.
Sandra and I were laying naked in bed again, holding each other and talking.
"So, were you serious earlier with your hand on my thigh?" Sandra asked.
My shoulders slumped. "Kinda. I mean, I'd like to do more things with you. I really want to taste you Love, but I feel bad. When Noah and I are together, either he stops before we get too far, or I put him off."
"Why are you putting him off?"
"I'm scared." I admitted.
Sandra nodded. "His size?"
I nodded as well. "I really want to do things with him, but his size is intimidating. I mean, how is something so big going to fit into something so tiny?"
"It'll take patience and a lot of lube. The key will be to relax and let him stretch you out first. If he was to just jam it in, then he could end up damaging you. Not that I think that he'd do that."
"Maybe, but I'd still be a little scared."
"Would it help if I was there? We could have a bit of a three-way and I could help you by distracting you."
That was an idea that had crossed my mind before. The more I thought about it, the more I liked it.
"Maybe not for our next date, I'd like for that one to be where we just hang and maybe make out."
Sandra smiled, "How about if we just play it by ear? If it happens on our next date together, then it does. If it doesn't, the maybe the next time. We don't have to plan it, just prepare in case it does. We'll bring condoms and lots of lube."
"I already bring condoms and lube. I keep it the purse I use for my dates with Noah."
"Have you done anything other than that handjob you gave him a while ago?"
"No."
"Well, you said you didn't mind the taste of his cum. So, how about on our next date I teach you how to give a blowjob?"
The idea of doing that made me breathless and Sandra must have seen something in my eyes, because she grinned. Then she leaned toward me, and I thought she was going to kiss me, but she laid her cheek against mine and said, "You will have to swallow everything he gives you. If you do, then I'll let you taste me."
I started panting at that and planted my lips on hers. The kiss was very deep, and Sandra wrestled my tongue into submission. I started to run my hand up the inside of her thigh, seeking the wet warmth I knew to be there, when she grabbed my hand. I froze, thinking I had done something wrong, but then Sandra broke our kiss and said, "You'll have to wait a little bit Love."
I groaned and said, "No fair!"
She kissed me again before explaining. "Sweetheart, you are going to be so worked up by the time we all have sex that you'll be begging Noah to plough that pretty ass of yours."
I didn't tell her that begging was actually plan B.
x~x~x~x
Sandra and I talked late into the night. Unfortunately. Every time I tried something, she'd shut me down. I told her how the issue of getting roofied and the aftermath had made me realize one thing. I had no doubt that Noah wouldn't kick me to the curb if he had sex with me. After everything I put him through, he still didn't give up on me.
We spent the next day swimming and hanging out at the pool. We watched some movies with my mom and had dinner delivered. I wanted Sandra to stay but I expected it when she said she couldn't. I kinda joked that, if she lived here, she wouldn't have to leave. When she left, we kissed each other goodbye, in front of my mom. My mom had a smile that made me feel warm inside, like she approved of what I was doing.
"Things seem to be going well between you and Sandra." She said as we headed back into the house.
"They are. I owe her so much; she helped put me back together."
"I know, and I will be forever grateful to her for that."
"Everyone knows that Noah's surprise party is on for this Tuesday?"
"Set and ready to go, Sweetheart."
"And Thanksgiving?"
"Ditto. Everyone's invited and responded in the affirmative."
I took a deep breath before continuing. Even though my mom has been very supportive of my relationship with both Sandra and Noah, what I as about to say was a huge step for me.
"Next weekend Sandra, Noah, and I are going to try our date again."
"That sounds great Sweetheart. I'll arrange with Paul to go on our delayed weekend trip then."
I looked my mom in the eye and said, "We plan on spending the weekend together."
My mom looked at me for a second before I saw the corners of her mouth quirk up. "Just be safe Sweetie."
I smiled back. "If it happens, I promise I will be mom."

Going back to school Monday was a trial. There were the looks and the whispers, as well as a few of the kids that stared. I could feel my face burn knowing what they were whispering about. But when Noah met me at my locker and gave me a huge hug and a deep kiss, things felt right once more, even Kurt snickering as he watched me lifted off the floor.
When Noah put me down, I reached out for Kurt and pulled him into a hug. Then we started walking to class like we normally did, with Noah's arm over my shoulders. A few of my friends from Glee and the Cheerios greeted me with smiles and a wave.
"Ms. Summers, have your recovered from your ordeal?"
"For the most part Ms. Blake. I'm still dealing with some issues, but my friends and family are helping me with it."
"And with the help of your beautiful girlfriend and handsome boyfriend, no?"
"Absolutely. They have been amazing. We're going on a triple date this weekend."
Ms. Blake had a glint in her eye and a slight smile on her face as she replied, "Have fun."

Overall, my day had been going pretty good until it was time for Cheerios practice when Coach Sylvester called me into her office and had me shut the door. I think the thing that made me the most nervous was the look of compassion on her face instead of the normal look of craftiness or distain.
"Are you doing okay?" She asked.
I was so stunned I just nodded.
"If you need anything, let me know. I already have a Private Investigator looking into that Alan guy. I'll let your mom know what I find out."
"Uh, okay Coach... thanks." I managed to get out.
"Okay, on to business. Here's the routine we're practicing. I expect you to work hard and get it down before our next competition. I can't keep one of my best flyers on the sideline, understand?"
One of her best? Really? I perked up a bit at that and said, "Of course Coach! I'll always give you my best."
"I know. Now, keep the door open when you leave." She told me as she looked down and started shuffling papers on her desk.
I left on shaky legs, in shock at seeing Coach Sylvester actually being human. I'd have bragged to everyone about it, but no one would believe me.
x~x~x~x
Walking into Glee was probably the best part of my day. Everyone was there except for Mr. Schue, and they all gave me hugs. Well, except for Quinn and Finn, who seemed to be having a very quiet, yet intense discussion in the corner.
Noah and I sat down, and he held my hand like he never intended to let it go when Mr. Schue walked in, and he walked up to Noah and me with sheet music in his hand.
"Are you okay Kayleigh?" He asked.
I gave him a smile and, trying to be a little witty answered him with, "If people keep asking me that I might just slip into a coma. Just kidding, I'll be okay Mr. Schue."
I looked over at Noah, smiled, and squeezed his hand. He smiled and squeezed back. Mr. Schue then started handing out the music. I couldn't help a grin from growing on my face. It seems that Mr. Schue was finally beginning to listen to us.
"All right, guys. We're doing a new number for Sectionals. I know that pop songs have sort of been our signature pieces, but I did a little research on past winners, and it turns out that the judges like songs that are more accessible. Stuff they know. Uh, standards, Broadway."
Kurt looked really excited and exclaimed, "Defying Gravity? I have an iPod shuffle dedicated exclusively to selections from Wicked. This is amazing."
Mr. Schue looked at him and smiled, but then turned back to Rachel and asked, "Think you can handle it, Rachel?"
"It's my go-to shower song. It's also my ring tone."
Poor Kurt looked heartbroken.
"Why do we have to go all vanilla on this song? See, what we need is my chocolate thunder." Mercedes stated.
"Okay, we don't have time to rearrange a song for you, Mercedes. Rachel is singing it. Don't worry, we'll find something for you to dip in chocolate."
That made us laugh. Well, except for Finn who looked clueless.
"On to item two. The school won't pay for the special bus we need to take Artie and his wheelchair with us to sectionals."
"W-w-what?!" Tina exclaimed.
"That's completely unfair." Rachel seconded.
"I agree!" I said. "Why can't they? Aren't they required to have Handicapable buses for students? I mean, by law?"
"School buses, yes. There is one, but they only allow it for school related events."
"And this isn't?" I insisted.
"Not according to the district, no."
That didn't really seem fair. I mean, the Cheerios had a tricked-out tour bus to take us to all of our local competitions, and for the longer ones, such as nationals, we would fly first class. It seemed that Figgins wasn't the only cheapskate in the school system.
"So, we're going to have to raise money to pay for it ourselves. See, when I was in glee club, and we needed new silk cummerbunds for regionals, we held a bake sale." Mr. Schue continued.
We looked at each other. How to we tell him that bake sales at school had gone the way of the dinosaurs? Maybe his concept of Glee club wasn't the only thing stuck in the 70's?
Santana spoke up. "You're joking, right? I mean, bake sales are kind of bougie."
"Yeah, Mr. Schue. No one really does bake sales anymore." I added.
"So hip people stopped eating delicious sugary treats?" He retorted.
'Hip people'? He really was stuck in the 70's. "It's not that Mr. Schue. People just tend to do things like donut sales and such now."
Most of the group nodded.
"It's not that? It's most of us? Don't know how to bake? I find … recipes confusing." Brittany admitted.
"My family is fully committed to takeout." Rachel told us.
Okay, that couldn't be healthy.
"Yeah, Mr. Schue, kids are busier than when you went here. We've got homework and football and teen pregnancy … lunch." Finn threw in.
I resisted the urge to roll my eyes and tilt my head back in exasperation. Noah would be a much better father to his baby than Finn could ever hope for, but there was no way in hell I was going to let my man go now, not after everything we'd just been through.
"Can't Artie's dad just take him?" Mercedes asked.
What?
"I can't believe how insensitive you're all being. Are you a team?"
"Of course. But Artie understands, don't you, Artie?" Quinn asked him. Maybe it was her hormones or something, but she seemed to be backsliding a bit to Queen Bitch.
"O… Of course. I-It's cool. Anything that takes away our time from rehearsing doesn't serve the team." Artie said, tactically agreeing with Quinns statement.
I didn't believe it, and I hoped that the others didn't as well.
As the other kids were leaving, I walked up to Mr. Schue, Noah still attached to my hand. "Mr. Schue, how much would it cost for the bus Artie needs?"
Mr. Schue looked at me and said, "Six hundred dollars a week."
I thought quickly. I could do it; it wouldn't be that much of a problem since I had almost four times that much in my account.
"I could pay for it; I have plenty in my account." I told him.
Mr. Schue smiled when he looked at me, but his face didn't light up like it would if my offer was the solution he was looking for. "Thank you, Kayleigh, but I can't let you do that."
"Me either Kayleigh." Artie put in. "I do appreciate the offer though, thanks."
I sighed and nodded, then walked out with Noah in tow.

Noah made me feel so loved when he insisted on walking into my house and making me wait in the foyer while he checked the rest of the house out instead of just dropping me off as usual. When he came back for me, he verified that the house was clear, as I expected it to be. I smiled at him as I walked up, reached my hand up and grabbed the back of his neck. It only took slight pressure to have him tilt his body down enough for me to capture his lips with mine. I opened my mouth, and he wasted no time by thrusting his tongue into me.
Things quickly escalated when he picked me up and started carrying me into the living room. I wrapped my legs around him as soon as my feel left the floor. We bumped into the door frame as we entered, but other than a slight grunt, it didn't stop us from kissing. Noah sat on the edge of the couch and moved my legs so that I was straddling him. This seemed to be his favorite make out position and I had no problem with it.
My hands went to his neck as he adjusted his position so that he was now leaning against the back of the couch, my knees on either side of his thighs. I felt his hands move and my hair tie was taken out. Noah loved me with my hair loose. One of his hands lightly fisted my hair and I gasped into our kiss. I really loved it when he took control.
I could feel his penis growing rapidly against my crotch while his other hand snaked its way under my cheer top. I moaned as his fingers ran over the top of my bra and cupped my left boob. It was getting hard to breathe, so I reluctantly broke of our kiss and pressed my forehead to Noah's as I panted, trying to catch my breath.
Noah started kissing my jaw line, aiming for my neck, using the hand in my hair to force my head to the side for easier access. Meanwhile, his hand was squeezing my breast, and I was getting so turned on I started to grind against his boner. I could hear Noah's heavy breathing as I felt his hand release my hair and slide down my back until he was cupping my right butt cheek.
Noah started alternating squeezing my boob and my butt. I brought my mouth to his ear, making my little moans louder, but that wasn't my goal. I began kissing his neck and then sucking on his earlobe. He groaned loudly and then took his hand off of my butt, his fingers seeking the hem of my spanky pants. It only took seconds before he was able to shove his whole hand into the stretchy fabric.
I moaned at the amazing feeling of skin-on-skin contact. I licked and sucked at his earlobe even harder as his hand squeezed and explored my backside. I could feel his fingers move ever closer to my butthole. The closer he got, the faster I would pant. I wanted it, I wanted this. I wanted to feel him in me.
I gasped when his fingertip slid across my opening and he paused, not moving his hand. I groaned and whispered, "N...Noah, please!"
His finger started rubbing my hole again and I then I felt his fingertip gently pressing against my opening. He slowly pressed harder and harder, but I was impatient. I pushed back against his finger and moaned loudly when I felt the very tip of his finger begin to enter me.
"Kids! I'm home!"
Damn it! I was off Noah in a flash and trying to adjust my clothes back to some semblance of normalcy, groaning against the loss of his finger in me. Poor Noah was trying to adjust himself so that his hardness wasn't as obvious. He ended up grabbing a couch pillow and putting it in his lap. I then laid down with my head on the pillow, looking up at him as if we were relaxing and having a conversation.
When my mom finally walked into the living room, I turned my head and said, "Mom? You're home early." While Noah greeted her.
"We had two surgeries cancel and I had all my paperwork done, so I thought I'd come home and spend some time with you before Paul came over for dinner tonight."
My eyes widened in surprise, and I jumped up, panicked. "Oh god! I forgot about dinner!"
What could I make in the next few hours? My mind rapidly running through all the recipes that I knew.
My mom chuckled at my situation. "Calm down Sweetheart, we're going out to eat. Noah? Would you like to join us? I'm sure Paul would like to get to know you."
I looked at Noah with pleading eyes. I didn't see him for two whole weeks, and I didn't want to be parted from him yet. He looked back at me before turning his head to look at my mom and accepted the invitation.
"Good." My mom said, nodding her head. "We'll pick something up for your mom and sister on the way back."
"Thank you, Cassidy."
I started upstairs to get changed when my mom yelled up at me, "Nothing fancy, we're going to The Golden Corral."
It was not the Peking Gardens, but it was a buffet. I walked into my room, thinking about what I wanted to wear, and shut the door. A part of my brain was wondering if my mom was grilling Noah about what we had been doing earlier. I was completely positive that we hadn't fooled her at all.
I decided to wear a mid-thigh navy skirt with a deep 'V' neck, sleeveless purple blouse. It was when I was taking off my uniform that I noticed a large wet stain on my panties. I grinned. Noah had made me wet! I cleaned up and changed into a new pair of panties. I was going to put the old pair in the laundry basket when a wicked thought went through my mind. I tucked them away in a drawer before getting dressed.
Paul picked us up in his Escalade and took us to the restaurant. We made general conversation on the way to our table, Paul taking the opportunity to learn more about Noah. I was relaxed, sitting next to Noah and holding his hand as they talked. At least, until Paul mentioned he was happy to learn more about his future son-in-law. My eyes shot to Noah as a grin spread across his face and then told Paul that he was happy to get to know his future father-in-law. My mouth dropped open, my gaze swinging back and forth between them while my mother chuckled to their antics.
When Paul mentioned how beautiful I looked, my mom snickered.
"What is it my Love?" He asked her.
"You should have seen them when I got home early from work!"
I froze in place looking at my mom in shock. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Noah frozen as well in the middle of bringing a forkful of food to his mouth.
"Oh? And what, pray tell, were our daughter and her boyfriend doing?"
"They were on the couch trying to act like they were talking, but their hair was mussed, their clothing rumpled, and their lips were puffy."
"Mom!" I cried as I hid my burning face in the palm of my hands.
"Are you trying to say that they were making out on the couch?"
"Dad!"
"Oh yeah. I just wonder what would have happened if I'd walked in fifteen minutes later."
"Mom!"
"Are you trying to tell me that our daughter is sexually active?"
"Dad!"
"Not yet I believe. In any case, she'd know to take that upstairs to her bedroom."
"Mom!"
"Should I see about soundproofing her room?"
"Dad!"
"That might not be a bad idea after I heard her and Sandra when she stayed over that one night."
"MOM!"
I guess that was too much for them, since they started laughing. Then Noah joined in, the traitor.
x~x~x~x
Paul dropped us off at our house. He shook Noah's hand and gave me a hug. Noah and I went inside so that Paul and my mom could give each other a proper goodbye.
"So," My boyfriend asked with a grin on his face as we stood in the foyer. "Are you a screamer?"
I smiled. "Maybe, we might find out before too much longer if you play your cards right."
His face lit up and he said, "Oh?"
I nodded. "Sandra and I are planning on a do over for our triple date this upcoming weekend."
Noah growled before grabbing the back of my head and kissing me roughly, just the way I liked it.
I was gasping for breath when he stopped kissing me.
"I love you, Kayleigh." He said, looking at me with so much love it made me forget to breath.
"I love you too Noah." I told him, giving him a look of adoration.
Mom came back in, and Noah gave me another hug and kiss in front of her before my mom gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek goodbye.
"Wow." I breathed as I collapsed on the couch.
"Wow indeed. I think that was a very good double date."
"It feels kind of weird to be on a date that includes my mother."
"It's probably only this one time, but you have to admit we had fun."
"Except for the very embarrassing part with you and Paul talking about my sex life."
"Parents prerogative."
I gave her a hug and kiss goodnight before heading upstairs and getting ready for bed. I looked at the envelope that had come in about a month ago with Noah's birthday gift inside. I knew he was going to love it. Maybe almost as much as the new bikini I'd bought for his party tomorrow. I was so excited that I had a hard time getting to sleep but sleep I did.
A/N: All of my chapters so far have been pre-written. So, after this one, this story will be put in rotation with my others. Deathtouched is nearing completion, but I have decided to put my protagonist into a series of stories. I don't want to give too much away since the chapters I have planned haven't been written yet, but if you're following the story, then you'll find out.
I seem to be having trouble with the AO3 website. I comes up with just words on the left side of the page and if I try clicking on them, noting happens. If it was just on my computer, I'd say that was the issue, but it's on all my devices. If anyone knows what the issued is, please let me know.
Also, the next chapter will have a major lemon in it, as you've probably already guessed.
Until later my readers,
Speaks With Spirits out.
