At Freezington, Gloria and Peonia agreed to allow the Professors to know about what they've uncovered, after they report their findings to Peony. The ladies walked over to the base, with Gloria taking the lead. The adult was busy warming himself and saw who was entering. "Nia! Finally decided to join in on some quality explorin'?"

The daughter smirked at the chance to answer. "We're already finished with that one, pops!" She and Gloria showed the ball collection as the Phone showed what was in them. Registeel, Regirock, Regice, Regieleki, Regidrago and finally, Regigigas. "Who ever locked them up had a tricky mechanism at the final ruins, that would have kept one of the two giants; Eleki or Drago, sealed away in slumber land, forever. But a buddy helped us wake them up and we found out there was one more ruin that was disguised as a Dynamax Den!"

She laughed to that as Peony had his mind blown. "Someone didn't want us to go diggin' for the whole family! But it looks like someone did it anyone. Looks like that's everythin' there is to report on the Legendary Giants."

He was given the clue on the giants and marked it as complete. He realized. "Well, how 'bout that, Chief! Looks like that was the last bit of the grand Peony Adven-tour that I had for you!" He cheered in celebration. "Woooo! Now this is an occasion! What's the word? Ultra-mega-epic! Your passion for all this caught me off guard, Chief." Gloria illiterate proudly. "If you asked Professor Sonia, we and Hop uncovered legends before and this lead to pokemon that few had even heard about. It was a nice research trip if anything."

Peony laughed to that. "This whole Adven-tour thing was built out of a load of rubbish I scraped together. Even I had my doubts about the whole thing. But you? You went at it with a ton of energy! You don't s'pose those Pokémon you caught were really the one in the legends, do you?" Peonia shrugged. "There was a ton of trouble made into hiding the Giants and Gloria told me about Calyrex. So Gloria, what are we going to do with all those legends?" The tired out girl stretched. "I'd say, keep them! You'll never know when they'll be handy."

Peonia went to the table and had a seat. "So all we got left is the rest of the day here. This is a nice place if we're going to get ready for our trip back to the mainland." She asked with some regret. "Is that really the last of the Legendary Tours around here?"

Gloria wanted to have a seat and give Peonia a lecture on how she chose to stay out of most of it, until Peony heard the regret and thought of how to stop that. "Hang on a mo! I'll think of some new legends straight away." Gloria gasped to one idea. "There's one that we've still haven't figured out yet. Hey, Peonia... how many of those Dynamax Adventures have you done?"

The teenager thought. "A lot! Just recently I got blown away by a Kyogre and was able to carry most of the team against a Latios. I've heard that one of the pokemon to have shown up was this white lion."

Peony had the chance to try and get close. "We got our adventure, Nia! A nice father-daughter expedition! Finally!" The daughter flinched. "Woah, woah, woah! Wait a second! Don't you think there's something funny going on with the Raid Den's around here too?" She scooted away. "Also, that's way too close! I need some personal space here!"

Gloria found that amusing as Peony turned and went for his back pack. "R-right! First things first! I've got something for you, Nia... Here! I made this brilliantly shiny explorer's outfit for you! You can get changed while me and the grown ups figure this one out!"

He presented Peonia with a golden set of exploration gear, the daughter shook her head. "What in the world-" She stepped back. "Are you trying to turn me into a disco ball or something? Why do I got to wear this golden one when the two of you are in normal gear?"

Peony laughed to that. "Gahahaha! Isn't it obvious? You're my darlin' daughter! I want you to shine so brightly that everyone notices you!" Peonia gahed. "It's things like this-"

Gloria felt that was more than enough. "That's more than enough!" She put her back pack away and put off the exploration gear. "How's about we switch uniforms before we go exploring again? I got a hunch if we find another special den, we can tell what's going on by looking at the walls."

Peonia pressed her hands together in gratitude and gave the girl a wink. "Oh thank you!" The girls made for the changing room, the teenager was in the more humble, slightly used wears while Gloria was in the specially golden wears, having a smile fitting of the gleam.

The two stepped out and Peony was completely bewildered. "But why?" The daughter took a deep breath. "Look, Papa. I won't get anywhere if you pamper me like this. Besides, Gloria's did most of the expeditions with you anyways. She ought to have the glamor."

She gave the golden girl a wink and advised. "Once we help the Professors gather their notes and figure out the dens, we'll talk about what we should do at the Max Lair." Gloria advised. "While we're at it, we can talk about what that White Lion could be. It sounds like another legendary." Peonia nodded and lead the way out, leaving her father in the melancholic thought of his daughter growing up.

Out of the cabin, they spotted Sonia and Lillie being allowed entry into another's house and followed in.

Inside.

Lillie gasped at a purple gas cloud with two starry limbs and asked the elderly woman. "You've found this Cosmog by the Max Lair?" The elder nodded. "And Fwoofy's been with me ever since." Lillie thought about it. "If that is the case, then that explains where those pokemon are coming from." In a sudden, Gloria and Peonia barged in and spooked the Cosmog to where it teleported up the book shelf. The Champion raised her voice unaware. "Now we can talk about that haul! I found something really cool about Calyrex while we got into a dynamax fight with Regigigas."

The Cosmog didn't know what that meant and teleported to an empty bag. Lillie cringed and gave a firm shush. "Careful, if you stress a Cosmog too much it's going to open a wormhole!" That was something Gloria knows nothing about and settled for having the Rotom Dex show the entries. "Then we'll talk quietly." Lillie and Sonia were shown the entries on the golems, the Alolan Professor aha'd. "Just what I expected." She gasped to the entries of Regieleki and Regidrago. "Oh my goodness! Then this Gigas must have had the material to make two additional golems."

That was already figured out, the teenager had her turn to explain. "They also used some moves we haven't seen before." Lillie had a read on the two moves. "Thunder Cage and Dragon Energy?" She had the phone transfer data to her own. "Oh. The cage is sort of like fire spin in how it traps a pokemon and hurts it for a few turns, but Dragon Energy is able to unleash astronomical power when it's at full health." Sonia read on the stats. "And Regidrago has a lot of health for that." She read the abilities the golems have. "They go well with their abilities, transition and dragons maw. Increasing the power of electric and dragon moves when ever they're used."

The Alolan Professor requested. "I would like to see those moves in action, before I can consider this case closed. So, if a match is held up again before this vacation is over, we could see it." Gloria didn't mind. "I think that could be arranged in a smaller arena... that's not close to a town. Are you ladies thinking that we should check the Max Lair out and see what's going on over there?" Peonia nodded. "Do you know anything about a white lion? They call it.. Sol...Solgaleo?"

Lillie ahed and had her Dex scroll to that exact pokemon. "A legendary pokemon that is found at Alola and a place called Ultra Space. It has the power to travel in between worlds and sometimes, they leave behind wormholes that can drop creatures called Ultra Beasts or fallers." The ladies huhed as Lillie explained. "Faller's are either people or pokemon who got lost in the Wilds of Ultra Space and escape into a different reality. Ultra Beasts are pokemon who are native to their own worlds."

Peonia connected the bigger puzzle. "So that's where there are so many legendaries in there. There must be a big wormhole in there as well as a Wishing Star." Sonia gasped. "Which means, when it is mixed together with the other power, it can make a dangerous combination for the explorers." Lillie nodded. "Hench, why the staff requests that trainers use the rentals who could handle that kind of stress. The power of Dynamax could be keeping a Prime Wormhole opened indefinitely. We should investigate that closely and be on the look out for an Ultra Beast."

The girls raised their hands and offered to volunteer, the Champion asked. "Once we do some investigating with the dens, we can see if we can't bag one of those for some study." Lillie readied to take her leave. "Go investigate that while I talk with the staff, some of them use to work with the Foundation my husband works with. They'll know me." She turned to the hiding Cosmog. "If either of you could, we now have to address Fwoofy. He could use a ball to make into a home, so he won't get into trouble again."

Gloria nodded and had a pokeball ready. "What you say? You want to see what's beyond the tundra?" The Cosmog peaked out of the bag, the girl looks audacious enough to fight off potential dangers. He wiggled out of the bag, floated to the ball and tapped at the button, it opened and brought him in. Shake...shake...shake... click! With that wrapped up, Lillie thanked the woman for taking care of the Cosmog and took off, Sonia had a hypothesis. "We might have better results if we go into a den with one of the rare beams. There could be a stranger pokemon that would make that environment into a home."

On the hike.

There was quite an abundance of purple beam dens to explore. Some of them were damp enough for a water type to call home. Some were as frigid as the tundra and one even had an atmosphere of a make shift dojo. One beam in particular could be seen up the mountain in the Snow Slide Slope. The ladies hurried up and Sonia had the time to ask. "I've been meaning to ask, I think I've read about why Calyrex's Dynamax aura has that blue tint instead of red. According to some of the texts around the pedestals. Calyrex actually fought against Eternatus and moved an entire forest out of harms way." Gloria had a bit of an idea. "Did his Majesty use that power against Eterny when he did?" Sonia nodded. "He battled against a giant hand and there's only one pokemon who turns into that. If he is with Spectrier, then he forgoes that grass type for a type that resists ghosts."

Gloria ohed as Peonia spotted a cave. "And would let Eterny have it with his psychic power. It might take a while for his Majesty to be ready for some questions, but that can make a good project for when we get back." The third lady of the party called. "Hey, I think we got to get through this cave to reach that den. Do you mind if I say something." She took a deep breath. "I've been reading that book of yours, Sonia. If Calyrex really did had a scuffle with that dragon, wouldn't he know the Heroes of the Sword and Shield as well?"

Sonia thought about it. "He might." Gloria smiled to some good news. "And it just so happens, Hop and I have those pokemon with us. We could have an interview with them, if we're to figure out more."

Sonia advised. "But we should leave Eterny out of that one." That was agreed with. The path to the den was a few turns away and they reached ledge overlooking the tundra. There was signs of foot prints that entered the den ahead of them and they followed. The inner workings was a spiral turn into the entrance of a cavern, which had fossils radiating in power. Where a muddied, scientist was using a machine to get a scan on something in the storm.

Gloria recognized the scientist as the storm cleared, revealing a Dracovish with a black and grey body, along with a pale blue head with a purple maw and a purple marking on the head. The fossil stomped and gave a bellowing. "Lalalalalala!"

The scientist leaped in a cheer. "Yahoo! I knew those fossils were living in here!" Gloria had a sparkle in her eyes and she called. "Cara, what are you doing?!"

The scientist turned and recognized Gloria and Sonia. She waved all cheerfully. "Hello! Sorry about that gig the other day. I've been hearing that the Tundra has fossilized pokemon roaming in the wild, so I took a ticket down here to investigate this on my own." She took a step back as the Dracovish stared blankly. "Although, the color's definitely new!" Gloria called the woman back. "We'll talk about this later. We got a giant to catch!" She, Sonia and Peonia looked to each other and sent out their partners. Franken, Yamper and Tyrantrum. Cara hurried to send out an Arctovish that flopped round in a gap. Gloria noticed Sonia having a bit of a spark and suggest. "Nia's got a Dynamax band as well, you're thinking, what I'm thinking?"

The Professor nodded and aimed her hand. "Yamper, let's nuzzle this Draco good!" The Yamper yapped, sparkled and rushed at the giant mishmash, the Dracovish swiped at the Tyrantrum for a fisheous rend. Peonia ordered. "Protect, Darling!" The Tyrant Lizard shielded herself from the blow as Franken and the Arctozolt were given the order to let loose a freeze drying blast.

The Dracozolt waddled back in a wail from the frigid wind and was nuzzled for paralysis. Peonia took the chance to call the dinosaur into her ball and power it up. "Alright Darling, let's show this fossil why we're the queens of the school yard!" Pop! Fling! The ball popped open to bring about the growing Tyrantrum that gave a playful stomp to the ground and roared to display her might. The Dracovish shielded himself with a barrier and was blasted by a mighty wyrmwind before the Arcto's worked together to blast away. The barrier shattered and Yamper was ordered to howl, empowering the band as the Dracovish struggled to move. Peonia winked and declared. "One more time!"

The Tyrantrum let loose a wyrm wind blast that caused the Dracovish to fall on it's rear and burst in energy. Gloria turned to cheer for the school girl. "Now's your chance, the honor for this shiny is yours!" Nia laughed, closed her eyes and waved her hand. "I already have a dragon type! Get this one in a ball and we'll see this big lug for what he is!"

Gloria blushed at the honor and powered up a net ball. "Alright!" Blip! "Come along, Victor!" The ball flew to the dazed Dracovish, dragged him in a ball and landed to the ground. Shake...shake...shake... shrink! CLICK!

With the Dracovish caught, Sonia gave a hearty congratulations as Peonia had Darling power down. Gloria went to pick up the ball and had the band leave the Den. Cara had Arctozolt flop behind her and readied another Wishing Piece. "Now let's try that again!"

Gloria flinched and stood in the way. "Hold it! Don't you think it's weird that none of those fossil pokemon are out here in the wild? Why did one even show up in the den in the first place?" Cara shrugged. "Beats me, but I'm thinking some of those Particles are charging up the fossils in that den. It's the same kind of energy I've been using to power my machine up."

Sonia nodded. "Like everything else in this region. That Dracovish must have been merged by the power and revived." She had a question to consider as Cara had a bit of a curiosity. "I'm thinking, there could be more clues down in the Max Lair. I've heard that fossil pokemon live in that canyon too!" She got on the Arctovish's back and had it ready for a slide. "Keep finding more of those pokemon for me, while I go check it out!" She waved carelessly. "See ya!"

She slide down the mountain and hollered with the Arctovish before the ladies could ask more. Sonia tilt her head forward and had a pout. "What was that about?" Peonia wished to know as well. "I've only heard about those pokemon a few times, but the records never really showed them." Gloria sighed in disappointment and concern. "Because this lady's been cobbling fossils of different pokemon together and thinks they're actually the real deal. We need to bring her to a professional, to tell her why this is wrong." She turned to the Den. "But, I'm thinking even if we do, this isn't going to be the last we'll see of the Galarian Fossils. This is about as naturally occurring as they can get."

Franken whined and was given a playful nudge by Darling as Peonia thought about it. "We still got to stop that woman before she gets herself hurt. Let's get back to the Base and tell Papa we're all ready for this Adven-tour-" "The Gateway to the Ultra Beyond!" The band were quite proud of that title and they hurried back.

At the Max Lair.

Lillie was looking down the Canyon in confusion, at a stranger most weird. "Seems that Nexus is a lot deeper than I thought." Jennifer shrugged. "I get stranger visitors by the hour. It's hard to keep this contained without volunteers going in and out. But I think everyone wins here." Lillie was about to agree and heard someone coming, Gloria and her band of friends, including Peony. "'lright, let's sign up for this Dynamax Team!"

Jennifer appreciated that she was asked as Gloria asked the two. "Professor Lillie, Miss Jennifer, did you see this messy scientist come over here?"

Lillie nodded. "Why yes and she's in a hurry to see if there's a particular group of pokemon she could find down there. Do you know her?" Gloria nodded. "That's the woman who is responsible for the Galarian Fossils!"

The Alolan Professor gasped, looked to Jennifer who's having a realization that she should have questioned more and looked back to the group. "What does she think she's doing by going in there?" Sonia guessed. "I'm thinking it's for research, Regigigas isn't the only pokemon who has a unique looking den and one of those is a fossil mine that is pulsing with Dynamax power."

Peonia thought out loud. "Miss Lillie, I think it's a good idea if one of us stays out here, in case she comes back. You guys don't take kindly to this kind of work?" Jennifer shook her head as the Alolan Professor volunteered. "Not at all! She needs to know when to stop before more pokemon get hurt by her. That Dynamax Power is what causes the fossils to come back to life, yes?"

Gloria and the ladies gave a nod, Sonia realized. "Hold on, why didn't those mishmashed fossils revive as their own from that?"

Lillie ahad. "I'll bet a masalada that could have been one of her struggles. Now-" She stepped aside. "Get in there and may you have the best of luck!" Peony wasn't even pretending that he was making sense out of it and went to the gathering lobby.

A cart of pokeballs were laid out, Gloria had her eyes glimmer to a ball containing a well known starter from the land of Hoenn, a Blaziken who has a habit of giving fierce dances. Peonia went for a particular pokemon that has always caught her eye, the Hoennian Fossil, Armaldo, who has a bit of a show offish temper. Sonia picked a ditsy Wigglytuff and Peony went for a dull and serious Bronzong.

At the Cavern, there was readings of a psychic type at the end. There were two paths, one being ground, the other being dark. Beyond the dark type is the readings of a fire type and of the steel type. With a set of berries right after the steel path. Gloria raised her hand to ask. "All in favor of picking up handier pokemon for those?" Peonia voted yes. "The few I've seen down here aren't too bad if we have a dark or steel type around. Unless it's Latios."

Sonia could tell by some of the shapes in the readings. "And I think we can figure out what some of these are. Just be careful on this first one Gloria." She voted going down that path as Peony shrugged. "Let's go snag ourselves that Krookodile!"

He charged boldly and had the ladies follow, to anyone's surprise but Nia, Peony was absolutely right on the prediction. The Krookodile jumped at the presence of intruders and flexed a roar. The four pokemon were laid out to battle and Gloria made the first move by Dynamaxing the Blaziken. "Power us up with that Max Knuckle and keep that Krookodile down!" The Blaziken nodded and punched fast at the croc that countered with a max quake that wasn't nearly as strong as expected, Peonia cheered. "Slice into him with an X Scissor Arma!"

The Armaldo recalled that nickname, turned to Peonia in a playful wink and dashed after the krook as Peony laughed. "Nice to know you're makin' friends down here, Nia!" He pointed dramatically. "Give out a metal sound for her, would ya!" The Bronzong sighed and did as instructed, letting Sonia order her Wigglytuff. "And blast that Krok with a dazzling gleam!" The Wigglytuff emit a blast that sent the Krok walking back. He was shaking in confusion and snapped. (What did I do to deserve that?!) He flared his nostrils as Gloria ordered. "Go for that special fire and we have this done!"

The Blaziken took a step back and swiped an infernal blast that caused the Krook to burst in power. Gloria readied a dusk ball for capture, watched it shake three times and went to pick it up. She had a fast scan and realize. "Okay, no wonder. This one has earth power instead. You mind if I bring him along?"

The group voted for letting Gloria switch Blaziken for that. They made for the fire path and encounter a Heatmor that's wandering confused, it saw the tiny ants and flicked a fiery tongue in a roar. A plan went in motion and Gloria asked. "Krookodile, use earth power to soften that ant eater up!" Peonia called Arma into a ball. "And let us handle him!"

She powered the orb up and spooked the Heatmor into flicking a flame lash on the Wigglytuff, decreasing her defenses and triggering a competitive urge that blasted the Heatmor in a round. The Bronzong flung a zen head butt as Peonia tossed the Armaldo's ball back and unleashed a giant. "Rock fall!"

The Armaldo brought about a stone slab to smack the Heatmor with and brought about sand, the ant eater called upon intense sunlight and was blasted with a final earth power that triggered an explosion. Peonia took a deep breath and used a premier ball to capture the Heatmor, adding a potential party member and looking over to Sonia. "Think you can handle this one for a while?"

Sonia certainly does and picked the ball up. "Thank you!" She called the Wigglytuff back and put the ball away. "How often do you fight with these rentals?" The teenager winked. "Just enough that I know most of them. Sometimes the pokemon caught here end up being trained to work with more trainers." She felt Arma shrink back down and leaped in victory. The teenager asked Peony. "Papa, how are you and Bronzong holding up?" The father laughed. "Me and my Pokemon had worse!"

The band called their partners back and made for the path of steel, where a roll happy Togedemaru awaited them. Sonia counted her blessing as Peonia cringed. "Eeek! Not good!" Sonia thought as she and the party sent out their pokemon. "As long as we're not given any surprises, we just got to focus on this rollers biggest weak spot!" She called the Heatmor into a ball and powered it up as Gloria had Krookodile focus. "So an earth power ought to do the trick?"

The Krookodile grunted and let loose an effective blast as Sonia tossed the powered up ball backwards. The Togedemaru rolled at the Armaldo and smacked him flying with an iron head. Peonia ordered. "Come on, stomping tantrum away!" The Armaldo readied a stomp as Sonia ordered. "And blast this trouble maker with a special flare!"

The Heatmor inhaled with his tail and fired a fire ball that sent the Togedemaru rolling, a stomping tantrum made the hedgehog burst into Dynamax power and Peony had the chance to toss a premier ball for capture. The fight was over and the Heatmor powered down while the ball shrank. Peonia went to pick the Togedemaru up and thanked Arma. "Now we can take on the steel boss! Thank you for the help!" The Armaldo grunted and was called to a ball that was put away.

The band kept going for a fast pick me up of berries and head to the end, where the storm brewed in glimmering sunlight and blew away to reveal a White Lion with a cosmic blue cranium and patterns of burning orange. The Solgaleo stomped and gave a mighty roar. The adventures sent out their merry band of misfits, ready for a clash against an intense for. The Solgaleo looked upon the Togedemaru and let loose a fire spin, Sonia ordered. "Roll out of the way and nuzzle him!" The hedgehog did so and rolled after the Lion as Gloria had Krookodile spin in a darkest lairate. Peonia ordered fast. "Soften him up with a flame lash and weaken that defense!" The Heatmor rushed in for a lash against the full metal body, super effective the blow might be, the defense didn't drop. Peony widen his eyes and smirked to the crowd, letting them know he has a plan. "Bronzog, skill swap that shiny ability!"

The bell grunted for a skill swap that left the Solgaleo levitating. Gloria didn't mind and readied to dynamax. "Well, that's the que to know ground type moves aren't gonna work anymore." The Krookodile was in the ball as Peonia admitted. "Not like that was going to be much of a use anyways! Let him have it!"

Gloria had the power powered up, enlarged it and tossed it to the back, unleashing a giant Krookodile that roared a challenge. The Solgaleo rushed at the Krookodile and smacked him in the face with an iron tail, Peonia had the chance. "Now trap him in an electro web and give the rest of us time to attack!"

The Togedemaru rolled a web to snare the lion as the Krookodile let loose a blast of Max Darkness that sent the Solgaleo rolling. Sonia had Heatmor try a flame lash again. The defenses dropped and Peony laughed. "Gahahaha! Now hit him with a metal sound and we'll have this done!" The Bronzong gave off the piercing sound that made the lion shack in a stupor.

The Krookodile let loose a second pulse of darkness that brought it into a pitch, the Togedemaru missed with an electro web and the Heatmor flared. "Now finish this with an over heat!" The ant eater grunted, inhaled deeply and blasted out an inferno that engulfed the lion and sent him pulsing in Dynamax power. Sonia took the honor of charging a premier ball and tossing it at the Lion.

Securing a firm capture that got the blood flowing. Gloria and Peonia gave a cheer of victory and shared a laugh with Peony as the Professor picked up her capture. "That's a thrilling one!" The band turned around and took a detour that lead to a split in the canyon, towards the sound of something screaming. They hurried and followed the climax of a four man band going up against a black, round dragon with a club tail and a depiction of the mentioned Ultra Beast, Guzzlord. Going up against what looked to be Cara, dancers and a pokemon breeder. Cara had a Flygon, the dancers had a duo of Mimikyu and Vikavolt. The breeder had an Audino that was trying her best.

The Guzzlord was cleaved by the Flygon's claws and burst into power. The breeder took the chance to charge a premier ball and tag the glutton for capture. With that done, the band turned back to the lobby. All except for Cara, who was itching to explore more. "Come on, that can't be the big mystery in here!" Gloria called. "Oi!" Cara turned to find the band and waved. "It's you guys again. Have you found anything worthwhile for Cara Liss?"

Gloria pressed her lips together as Sonia took a deep breath. "Just some confirmation as to what we were talking about and then some. Cara, we have some pokemon experts that could help you uncover the real truth of those fossilized pokemon. Something about them isn't... ethical."

The scientist heard that and whimpered. "Come on, there's nothing wrong with Franken or the others! I'm getting closer and closer to uncovering what they are!" Peonia and Peony looked to each other in confusion as Gloria gave a signal of a time out. "We know that those fossils can't be revived on their own, something needs to connect with them. But maybe it's not a good idea to be putting different specimens together before zapping them."

She had an idea. "Maybe that Raid Den can help us uncover the why? You know how it could work, what do you say?" Cara blinked and thought about it while Peony noticed someone in black clothes, having a recorder for something. He and Peonia went to have a look, only to find a puff of smoke for a quick get away. The ladies felt that odd and Sonia advised. "Maybe we can talk it with that Conservation group, before someone over hears something. This canyon isn't save to be in for too long." Cara hesitated. "Just have Cara Liss's back when they say that she's wrong! I've worked too hard to have that get said."

The band hurried to the entry and had a view of their captures. Sonia looked upon a scanner of the Solgaleo in a ball and is surprised by what is seen, the lion was red and his orange markings were purple. "What the?!" She showed the image and earned a whistle. Gloria snickered. "Nice one, Professor! Are you gonna keep him?"

Sonia nodded without hesitation. "I've been a trainer on a journey once before! He could be a huge help with my studies on this bizarre place!" The others were sent to the research team and stepped out to the lobby. Lillie phewed. "Thank goodness you're all back!" She put her hands at her hips and squinted her eyes at Cara. "It took us forever to find you! You've caused an uproar all across Galar, you know!"

The scientist eeked as Sonia advised. "Professor, she could help us uncover the real mystery behind those fossils. What do you think we should do?" Lillie relaxed and thought. "Let's see-" She snapped her fingers. "A ha!" She looked back to Cara. "You might be lucky here, if that Den is producing fossils on it's own, then someone could potentially come across those pokemon again... one way or another. If you like, you and my brother could help the new Chairman lay down a line on some... incidents we're uncovered."

Cara raised a brow. "You're saying that Cara Liss will have to bring back fossils while supervised?" Lillie raised a finger. "Or with a permit. It requires a compassionate and skilled trainer, to properly take care of those pokemon and it could be a disaster if these pokemon are in the hands of just about anyone."

That made sense to the back door scientist. "Yeah, those Twins never really brought those specimens up like I'd hoped." She came to an agreement. "Alright! I'll see what that Aether President wants from Cara!" Lillie took a deep breath at how simple that was. "Thank goodness! Now, before we begin, how was your adventure?"

Sonia fondled her hair and showed the ball. "Splendid! I think I caught a shiny Solgaleo in there!" Lillie gasped, had the phone scan what is inside and announced. "You have!" She smiled wide and giggled. "Congratulations!" Jennifer agreed and brought out four patches. "On behalf of the Aether Foundation and as a thank you for this next step in conservation. We'd like to present you with these ability patches. They'll allow you to unlock a hidden ability that your pokemon could use."

Gloria and Peonia's eyes glittered as they took the patch, the grown ups found it a potential convenience for later. Lillie had an idea of how that could be used. "Gloria, if I may. You said Franken had learned a rather powerful move by the end of your Cup?" The girl nodded. "And Marnie had to deal with a Dracovish with move known as fisheous rend. What do you suppose would happen if I give Franken that hidden ability over say... static?"

Cara gasped and raised a finger. "I heard of that from some travelers!" "Those arctos get pretty speedy in the hail while the dracos can rush through sandstorms!" Lillie gasped. "Slush rush and Sand rush?!" Gloria liked the sound of the idea and sent Franken out, the Arctozolt looked around, found Cara to be content and chirped. (What's going on now?) Gloria answered boldly. "We're going to help you use that bolt beak to it's peak potential before we start calling it a day!" She wondered how the patch should be used and decided to simply apply it. "Now stand still while I get this-"

At an office in the top of a tower.

Leon, the former Champion, was in a red top suit with a tuff. Staring completely lost as a man with short blond hair, a black suit with intentional tears, looked upon a message and the logs for the Galarian Fossils. The man looked back to show rather enraged, emerald eyes. He closed them and took a deep breath at the man who've took over Macro Cosmos for the previous Chairman, who is in prison. "Well, if they're possible somewhere, then that woman's research ought to be a help."

He tapped on the image of Type:Null specimens and addressed. "She'll be here soon, so we can discuss on how to quell this problem before it gets out of hand. If any trainer still has this pokemon before the quality check comes around, they're off the hook as long as they treat them right."

Leon nodded to that. "And we'll know if any new ones are put together again, Mr. President." The Aether President focused back to the Type:Nulls. "As for these, the same rule applies. Only have these given to an experienced trainer and don't let anyone make new ones. Keep the data safe,, because the Foundation's still in an uproar over it." He smiled wide. "Beyond that, it looks like most of the crisis on this region has been resolved. Thanks to your little brother and that girl. Now what is this I hear about a Galarian Star Tournament?"

Leon gave a dorky smile back. "It's something I've been thinking about, ever since I heard that those four worked together to beat Eternatus. Wouldn't that be more thrilling, if the people of Galar get to see that team work in action?" The Aether President wasn't going to complain. "There's nothing wrong about depending on others to have your back. It could give a finale to that vacation my Sister and her family are having right now." He's given a text and checked. "And speaking of her-"

At the outskirts of Freezington.

Franken was rushing through the snow, crackling with his beak, as his counterpart, Victor, dripped with his fanged jaws. A first priority bolt beak clashed with a fisheous rend in a collision of blows. Lillie had the knowledge of the moves logged. "Perfect. If you're able to control the weather or do something about the speed, these pokemon have the potential to out damage any defense!"

Gloria smirked. "Yeah. Franken's put the hard work to making it this far, like Acer and all the others. It's going to be worth it to keep on going and making the people smile at that future!" Victor gave a jolly dance as the trainer pet Franken. Cara was teary eyed at how happy the fossilized pokemon are as Peonia felt the exploring has reached a limit. "Is there anything else to find down here? Professors?"

Sonia thought about it. "I've spotted some foot prints that I recognize from a story. But we'll have to worry about that for another time." The teenager wondered. "What kind of footprints?" Sonia recalled. "One has a blue shimmer to them, one is deeper and brown and the other has more grass to them." Lillie ohed as she prepared for her trip to Wyndon. "I think I've seen this from Unova. Three distinct pokemon that are known to protect nature."

Peonia gasped and raised her hands in a flinch. "Unova?! What are the Swords of Justice doing here?!" Gloria huhed. "The Swords of Justice?" The older girl smiled wide in excitement. "A trio of deer pokemon that keep to the wilderness and would like to keep away from humans most of the time. Lead by the Iron Will Cobalion. The Cavernous Terrakion would muscle through danger while Verizon rescues pokemon and delivers them to the Grasslands."

Gloria smiled back. "Looks like this could be something I can invite the rest of my friends for!" She asked her new friend. "What do you say? We'll have that adventure next week?"

Peonia closed her eyes proudly. "Now that the Tournament season is over, I have school days again. So we'll have that expedition first thing on the weekend?" Peony was teary eyed in joy at how his daughter is growing up and breathed out a sob. "Nia really is comin' on her own!" Lillie knew the feeling and patted him on the shoulder. "This is bound to happen to all of us one day. We got to make those moments count." The ladies laughed to that as the sun began to set and invite strange green lights in the sky. A good omen for their departure from the Tundra.
