Rin was scared as she looked at the seen in front of her no one could blame her Shinji was dead all that was left of him was his upper body but that was not the case of her fear no it was the thing consuming his lifeless corpse it was vaguely human in shape with arms that were too long it's hands that were holding his severed leg were large the fingers long and ended in sharp claws it's legs where digitigrade but still human it's back covered in copper color fur then the head it's jaws were filled with sharp teeth stained red by blood the rest of it's head was like a dear skull the antlers were large the eyes were red like the blood that was on it's jaws but it seemed familiar looking around it she saw the school's male uniform torn but still clinging on to its body then where the sounds of flesh being torn from bone and the crunch of the bones that soon fallowed but she has to run this monster was distracted with it's meal so she ran as far and fast that she could as she went into some bushes to hide she could still see it and what was left of shinji as it stopped eating and looked straight at her then turned and walked away but something was of it's own look was of self loathing and fear

after the incident rin was looking for what that thing was as she looked through American monsters she saw it but different looking at it's name she saw the one word that will change her understanding of the world into something that even the most powerful Magi would consider strange for this wasn't some strange familiar No it was something completely different a monster from a time where even magi were no more than people trying to survive
