POV: third person limited (Wilhelm)

Wilhelm was frustrated, curious, nervous, hell, he probably was feeling every emotion at once. But he was mostly confused. Why was all of this happening? Why was he here? (It's one of life's greatest mysteries, isn't it?) Why did he deserve all of these military decorations? "Is this supposed to be a redemption for Deuschtland's atrocities?" He thought to himself, wondering what was happening. This time, his thoughts weren't answered. He began to ponder what was happening and what had happened. As he was thinking about the complexities of life, he noticed something else on the ground in front of him.

It was boxy, as big as an MP-40, metallic, and could fold open. Wilhelm thought this was a briefcase, but that idea was shot down since it didn't have a handle. When he took a closer look at it, it had a logo on it, an Iron Cross, with the phrase "Redemptionis via longa est." underneath it. The phrase was Latin, and roughly translates to "The path to redemption is a long one.", which fits with the situation Wilhelm was in.

As he opened the briefcase look-a-like, he saw a black rectangle on the bottom of the presumed top. The black rectangle then slightly flashed white, with a more gray look to it. He was shocked by this, now curious about what this is. The thing then faded into a color image of the Brandenburg Gate at night, lights illuminating the gate. The time was in front of the gate, 09:00.

"What is this?" Wilhelm asked no one. "Is this something from the future? A device of some sort?" His question was, surprisingly, answered by the status magic, not directly, but indirectly.

"Personal laptop," The system told him. "Will allow the user to get a better feeling of what's going on."

At that moment, all the ways to manipulate the "laptop" were put inside Wilhelm's mind. "Okay, what the hell was that?" He asked rhetorically. "Wait a minute, why do I suddenly know how to operate this? Ugh, you know what, never mind, I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth." He then taped the spacebar, bringing up the login screen. The screen then asked for the password. "Of course, it would be password protected. *sigh* Well, better give it my best guess." He decided to try Deuschtland as the password and hit enter. This was a correct guess. The screen then had text on it saying "Willkommen Kaiser" and three spinning dots below it. The screen stayed that way for about 5 seconds before fading to a picture of the KMS Prinz Eugen. Wilhelm then moved the cursor over to the desks icon and clicked the icon.

It showed 5 other desks, each having a different picture. The first one, titled "Work & related", had a picture of three of the same person, one with a deadpan look on their face, the other two fighting each other. The second one, titled "Videos" had an image of a fictional ship that looked like an arrowhead. The third, titled "music" had an image of a man walking down a partially destroyed elevated road, slightly looking back towards the camera. The fourth, titled "fanfiction" had an image of multiple armored beings aiming their weapons at the camera. The fifth was titled "Weird, fucked up shit", and had an image of someone with glowing red eyes, shotgun in hand, strapped to a pylon on an aircraft. The last one was the one he was on. It was titled "projects".

That title intrigued Wilhelm, so he clicked off of the desks and onto Google. It gave him the option to choose an account to use. He wanted to click on the one that had a name on it, but it was password-locked, and Wilhelm had no clues as to what the password was. This forced him to click on the account titled "Permson 1".

"Did the person who owns this have to make the title a speech impediment?" he wondered as he clicked the account. Google opened it, and the tab had a pop-out asking him if he wanted to restore all tabs. Wilhelm clicked yes on it and a crap ton of tabs opened. But out of all of the tabs, one stood out in particular. Project Azur Lane. As soon as Wilhelm clicked on the tab, the laptop began to make noises it probably shouldn't and it was seriously lagging trying to open the tab.

"Well, that doesn't look or sound good," Wilhelm said, stating the obvious. Suddenly, the screen flashed a blinding white light, blinding Wilhelm for a couple of seconds. "ARGH! WAS ZUR HÖLLE WAR DAS?!" He yelled, swearing in German due to the pain from being blinded.

As his vision cleared, he saw two women lying in front of him. Quickly, Wilhelm checked their bodies for a pulse. When he found a pulse, he relaxed knowing that they were only unconscious.

Now at ease, he got a thorough look at them. One of them had long blond hair and a fair light skin tone. She was wearing a Kriegsmarine admiral visor cap, white gloves, and an ornate black uniform with a short/skirt combination. She also had a cape with a black exterior, red interior, and white edging. She also wore black leggings with white edging, and black heeled shoes with a red bottom.

The other woman had white hair with red highlights and fair light skin. She wore a tight gray and red uniform that exposed some skin on her sides and back, showing that she either wasn't wearing a bra or was wearing a bra that went over her shoulders and around the back of her neck, most likely the latter. She also wore leggings, short shorts, and gray, heeled shoes.

The sudden appearance of two women confused Wilhelm.

"Why are there two unconscious women in front of me?" He wondered. A few seconds later, the white-haired woman began to stir from her unconscious state. She woke up with a groan, slowly opening her red-orange eyes. Soon, Wilhelm could get some answers as to who the women were.

POV: Third Person Limited (KMS Prinz Eugen)

Eugen awoke slowly with a slight groan. "Gottverdamnt, that is the LAST time I agree to participate in a test." She said, slowly getting into a sitting position. She proceeded to look around the area, seeing that it was a well-lit room. Looking to her right, she saw someone she thought she would never see again.

"BISMARCK?! HOW IS SHE HERE?! SHE'S SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD!" Eugen's thoughts were running at a million miles an hour. How was Bismarck here? Why were they here?

AN: Okay, the second chapter of AOTFH:WE finished, sort of. If you're wondering what is happening, while conversing with Masked Spider via PMs, I decided to make this story a triple crossover with Azur Lane. This was chosen mainly because it would be interesting to see what would happen. And yes, I did have the two ship girls with Mr. Carolus are both German, KMS Prinz Eugen and KMS Bismarck being the women with white and blond hair respectively.

Anyway, hope that y'all enjoyed reading this. This is Arentanji the Ohioan Firearms enthusiast, signing off... for now.
