After everyone had gathered in the living room, Jonathan started to explain their history with the Kryptonian birth parents.
"As you know, the four of us were friends in high school," said Jonathan.
"We know," said Clark.
"We were hanging out after graduating, just out in the fields watching the stars when a pillar of light hit near us," said Martha.
"It was Jor-El and Zod," said Jannese Danvers.
"At first we were terrified by their sudden appearance, but then they explained that their world was dieing and how no one would listen to them about it," said Mark Danvers.
"So, in their search for a place to send their kids they found us and noticed how much we got along and were accepting of things that were different," said Jonathan.
"We had multiple friends who were disabled or who were gay back in school as to us none of that mattered," he said.
"And you said yes right away?" asked Kara.
"I couldn't have children of my own and here these people were saying they wanted me to take care of their children, plus I could tell they had no choice," said Martha.
"We refused at first since we didn't want babies," said Jannese.
"But then we found out that you two were thirteen at the time and it hit Jannese hard since she was in an orphanage at that age," said Mark.
"But we were thirteen years late in reaching Earth," said Christopher.
"We still don't know how it happened, but we were happy when you finally arrived here," said Jannese with a smile.
"There was also something they left behind," said Jonathan before moving the group to the basement.
"What are we doing down here?" asked Clark.
"Jor-El left this to help you protect this world," said Jonathan as he took a box off a shelf. He then pulled a white crystal from the box and held it to the wall, where a door appeared.
"Whoa," said Kara as they walked through the door and found themselves in a large room with high-tech equipment everywhere.
"This is all Kryptonian," said Christopher.
"They also left you these," said Martha as she pressed a button on the side of four containers, which turned on lights inside them.
"I don't believe it," said Christopher as they looked at supersuits.
"Those are the suits for Nighwing and Flamebird," said Thara.
"Your parents took them and left them for you two," said Mark.
"And your mothers created these ones for you, there is tech to make them the right size for you and the emblems are so you never forget where you came from," said Martha as she looked at her Clark and Kara.
"Just make sure to be careful out there," said Jonathan.
