"Hey, you don't know me. Not just yet."

Someone clears their throat.

"It's been long enough."

"Could we wait just a little longer?"

"It's been long enough. No sign of—" Their voice starts to become warbled. Why? What am I hearing? Who is waking me up?

"Throw—Out—"

My eyes slowly open. Met with the same sky, yet barely any sunlight coming down here. It's bright blue. Yet it's still dreary. How can people live like this. I slowly bring myself to sit up. I look around. Only seeing people who somewhat look like me.

They all talk the same. Pretty much dress the same. No one is unique. This is no way to live. Yet, I'm forced to live it. Cold, concrete ground same as always. It's not dirty, but… Does that help me? I stand up and stretch my back and pop a few bones. My ribcage sore from the ground. Already used to it.

Some guy bumps into me again. Tells me to watch where I'm going. Does he think I'll just take it? Blood. Blood covers my fists, my knuckles, splatters on my face. I'm not like the others. I think. I act. I LIVE. None of them do. None of them are responsive, none of them live.

As I look over, I see blue portal. Why is it here? How is it here? It's a portal, I know that much… I sure as hell didn't create it. Do I touch it? Do I leave it alone? What do I—

I blinked. And I saw the sky, the bright blue sky, and the searing fucking sun blazing down on me. First time in my life, a smile snuck onto my face. Is this real sunlight. Or am I dreaming? Wind… Wind and gravity both bring me towards the ground.

I look around chuckling and smiling in disbelief. I'm out of that miserable place. I'm falling towards the ground. Wait—This is real! I'm gonna fuckin' die! I fall through the air closer and closer to the ground, I see a small cross on top of a building as I fall.

God?

Thud…

"CAN THE SPIDER-MAN COME OUT TO PLAY?!"

Tick…

Tick…

BOOM

The entire building shook with the aftershock of the bomb exploding.

"Gotta speed this up, younger me!" Miles G shouted then jumped up and punched a hole in the ceiling, the building was gonna come down and he knew that, on the next floor people were rushing down the stairs, someone, a kid specifically, was unable to move due to the violent tremors going through the building.

"Make sure those people get outta here safe! I'll get the kid!" Miles G commanded.

"You got it boss!" Miles started helping the people get out of the building safely, creating a smooth slope of webs out the nearest window so they could slide down safely.

Miles G zipped over to the kid. "Hey, kid! We're gonna find ya parents and you'll be just fine. Just go wait outside for me." He scooped up the kid and broke a window to toss them out of it onto a thick net of webbing. Then he jumped out that window, there were two more floors left.

Miles G was more experienced in general than his counterpart Miles. Miles G smoothly slid through the window, with him breaking it he knew the glass had to travel somewhere, so he worked even faster, he shot a web line onto someone's chest and pulled them in. "Heads up!" He then immediately tosses them out of the window.

Is it the safest route? Probably not. Was it fun? Maybe. Miles G continued to clear out the room, leaving Miles on the ground to catch every person he tossed to him. Miles G went up another floor after clearing that floor out, the building was really coming down now.

Miles G picked up a shoe from the ground and hurled it into a window to give them an escape route. "We're really on crunch time right now, so nobody freak out and do anything erratic!" Miles G shouted at them as he webbed them up.

Miles looked up waiting for Miles G to toss him anyone, only to see Miles G leap out carrying 7 people. Two in each arm, two on his back and someone's child wrapped around his neck. "Special delivery!"

He landed feet first on his own net of webs and then jumped and squatted down so the kid around his neck could get down. He started ripping the webs off the people so they could move freely.

"Wow! You're incredible!" Miles said to Miles G, walking over to him and looking at him in amazement.

Miles G chuckled as he removed the webs from the people. "Ya think so? I had Misty Knight as a mentor for a little."

"Who's Misty Knight?" Miles asked, tilting his head to the side in confusion.

Miles G would facepalm in disappointment. "Your universe lowkey sucks, dude."

"It's home. Can't hate home."

"I guess. No offense or whatever though." Miles G finished getting the webs off the people and then pressed a button on the side of his mask. A little barrel with a hole in the end of it would open from the bottom of his web-shooters and then start to suction up all of the webs used before closing back down into this seemingly hidden compartment.

"Uh… What was that?" Miles looked so surprised at what he had just witnessed.

"That? Just a little thing I installed. Just recycling the webs." Miles G said while ushering the people in the direction of the church.

"How does it work?" Miles led people in the direction as well, they casually kept up a conversation while helping people out.

"Are ya sure ya wanna know?"

"Yeah. I think I'm pretty sure."

"Okay, so this required me to change the chemical composition of the original web fluid to something more… recent. With the help of Blue Marvel I used this strangely smart material that can return to its original form when triggered by specific conditions. I made the conditions be, being sucked back into my web canisters. I have another version of this with nano tech used instead, so yeah."

The people being led by the pair weren't paying too much to their conversation.

"Wow. That is a lot. I don't even know if I have any material like that back on my home planet." They handed their group off to some stranger who was ushering them towards the church. They didn't look hostile, so they went along with it and let them be taken to the church.

"Then make it. Your universe ain't too much like mine, but… I'm sure you're smart. Just gotta stop doubting yourself, y'know? If you think you can do it, aim for the stars and land on the milky way. Mainly, just don't doubt yourself so much. Never know what you're capable of unless you put 100% forward."

"You realize how old you sound, right?" Miles asked teasing him with a little smile.

"Oh, Shuddup." He punched Miles on the arm.

Their Spidey-Senses went off, there was danger nearby that they couldn't see, then an invisible force bumping into Miles G's side lifting him off his feet and into the sky, carrying him with them. "I dunno who you are, but my girlfriend would not at all appreciate you flying off with me, you weirdo."

"Then, I'll enjoy her face of bitterness as I tear you limb from limb!"

"Damn. You sound awful dude. Ever heard of clearing your throat?!" Miles G lifted his hand and slammed it down on the glider, his venom charged fist causing the glider and cloaking tech to malfunction. "There you are!"

"I don't appreciate a spider wrecking my glider!"

Miles G reached up and grabbed the Green Goblin's ankle and tossed him off his own glider. "And I don't appreciate a hideous green monster kidnapping me and interrupting my conversation!" Miles G intentionally ripped the glider clean in half, preventing it from ever being used again.

Then he landed on the ground with the Green Goblin. "Maybe if your guard was up I wouldn't have done that!"

"My guard was very up! Now let me show you a lil sum!" Miles G then went invisible.

"You aren't the only one with cloaking abilities, Spider!"

And now there were just two invisible people listening out for each other.

On a rooftop, Miles was looking around when he was tapped on the shoulder. He went to gasp but his mouth was covered, and the invisible person slowly revealed themselves to be Miles G. Miles G moved his hand from Miles' mouth and brought a finger to his lips signaling for them to be quiet.

"What happen..?"

"That Goblin's an idiot. He's lookin' for a ghost right now." Miles G whispered back, sneaking over to the ledge of the roof. "We gonna jump him." He looked Miles in the as he whispered this to them.

Goblin had just reappeared down on the ground. After a moment of no responses from Miles they knew he had just played him like a fiddle. "God damn Spiders! So annoying! I hate them! I hate them!" Hearing webs hit the ground Goblin's eyes darted over to his right to investigate the sound.

Above him, Miles and Miles G were both leaping off the roof and lacing their fists in venom. Miles was the first one to hit. His punch landed clean, and it stunned Green Goblin. Miles G was next, he punched Green Goblin without holding back.

An unfiltered punch from Miles G was a lot harder than most people knew, both of them did, they had to pull their punches, so they didn't hurt anybody. "Pro tip." Miles G started, as he webbed Goblin to the ground where he was asleep from the punches. "Hit Green Goblins harder than you think you need to. They're annoyingly durable."

"I'll keep that in mind if I ever fight another one…"

Gwen, Kamala and Tiana were still helping people and leading them to other safe spots in Chicago. There was a church, there was city hall which also became a safe spot to evacuate to.

"So, who are you?" Tiana asked as she pulled a civilian out of their car from a crash.

"Me?" Gwen replied, pulling the passenger out of their seat. The car had toppled into a ditch.

"Yeah. Who else? I already know Ms. Marvel."

"Yep. Since that other Spider-Man was from a different universe, you are too, right?" Kamala asked Gwen while enlarging her hand and picking the car up and placing it safely on the road.

"Oh yeah. I am. And yeah my name is Spider-Woman." Gwen would pat the civilian on the back and point them in the direction of city hall, telling them to head there and stay aside.

"That's cool. So, you're the Spider-Hero in your world?" Tiana asked, touching down on the ground beside Gwen.

"Yeah. I am. Even though I'm not really a hero in their eyes." Gwen said, looking over at Tiana.

To Tiana's right Kamala's stretched legs landed there and then she shrunk herself back down to her normal size and walked beside Tiana, also looking at Gwen. "They don't see you as a hero? Why's that?" Kamala asked.

"Well… A friend of mine, Peter Parker, became the lizard. He was being bullied and—and…" Gwen let out a shaky exhale, trying to keep it together.

Tiana would wrap her left arm around Gwen. "You don't have to say anymore." Tiana said to Gwen. Kamala stretched over to Gwen's left, now putting Gwen between her and Tiana.

"Yeah, it's cool if you don't. I think we get the story already." Kamala said with a smile.

"I know, but… It helps to talk about this stuff and how I feel." Gwen exhaled calmly, being comforted by the pair.

"Well, if you're up for it, we're all ears." Tiana let her know.

Just as Gwen went to speak, a loud shriek pierced through the air and her spidey-senses went off. Her eyes shot up and she saw some woman had been tossed from the top of a building. "Heads up!" Gwen shouted.

"I got her!" Tiana announced as she leapt off the ground and deployed her wings, flying to catch the falling woman. She easily scooped up the falling woman and carried her. "So, uh, did someone throw you off that building? Or what we dealin' with here?"

"L-Lizard." The freighted woman stuttered out.

"Lizard…" Tiana mumbled.

"Watch out! Above you!" Kamala yelled at Tiana, warning her of the danger above her. Tiana looked up and saw a massive, 6'8 reptile plummeting towards her.

"Oh shit—" She said before immediately diving down and managing to narrowly avoid a harsh tail whip from the Lizard. Tiana would fly away, to drop the civilian off somewhere safe.

The Lizard would land on the ground creating a huge crater with its landing and kicking up a thick smoke screen. Then he stepped out of the smoke screen, revealing himself to Kamala and Gwen.

"Peter…" She whispered under her voice, frozen in place.
