I slowly got back up from laying on my back from the fall. "Ow…" I mumbled and then looked around. This place is beautiful. There're trees. Sunlight! A fuckin' forest! This place seems so lovely! Man, I don't wanna go back…
This place is apparently under attack? That seems to be how I got here. As I look up at the sky I notice there was portals just like the one I saw before all of this. When I looked over to my left I noticed this huge aircraft floating in the air and I couldn't see what was under it due to a building blocking my view.
Just as I finished that thought I heard a really, really loud scream. Jeez. That was loud… … I should probably go check that out? I shrugged my shoulders and then decided to walk in the direction where the scream came from.
As I walked over I got to firsthand witness a building fall over and collapse. Shit was kinda cool… Wait. I should probably think it was scary, but like… It was kinda cool. As I walked over I kept checking out what this place looked like.
I probably looked crazy, spinning in a circle as I walked, looking at everything. This place was so nice. Unlike where I came from… I really don't wanna go back.
"Hey! Hey you!"
This woman was shouting at someone. I looked around, making sure to check 360 around me. No one there? Wait. Is she talking to me? "You talkin' to me?"
"Yeah, you! Come help me lift this up!"
"Oh! Okay." I jogged over to the woman; she was at the pile of rubble in the building that fell over. It was an apartment building. There was no one here but her. "Uh… Where's everyone else?" As I looked around better, I noticed that the building had fallen in the opposite direction.
So, the entire apartment building was literally on the ground in front of me and it was blocking the road. "We ended up getting stuck in the building. Something weird happened to the doors they started glitching out or—or something! I was the only one able to get out. Then the door just disappeared!"
That's definitely not normal… I looked at what she wanted me to help lift. It just looked like a big ole floor. "Why are we trying to lift it?"
"There's people trapped under it! We gotta help them!"
Oh. Okay. I squatted down beside the woman and looked at her. Chicago Police Department…? What is a police department? I slipped my hands under the big piece of the floor. My fingers were almost too big to even fit under it.
"On 3 we lift together. 1… 2… 3!"
As soon as she said 3 I started lifting along with her. Wow, this thing was really heavy. What the hell? I'm really gonna have to put everything into lifting this. I didn't even mean to start grunting in effort, but I guess I musta got possessed by somethin'.
'Cause I surprised that I was even lifting this right now. It felt heavy as hell when I first started lifting it, but now it kinda light…? What is happening to me right now. I'm lifting this thing over my head so fuckin' easily?!
"Holy shit…"
"H—Huh?!" I turned to look at her, and she looked very, very surprised.
"Uh, nothing! Just don't drop that thing."
There was kind of a hole in the ground? It was deep enough for them to not be able climb out on their own I guess. No clue why I just unconsciously decided offering them a hand was a great idea, but I did. And somehow I just managed to pull someone out of this hole while holding this thing up.
To be honest, it wasn't heavy anymore, so I wasn't paying too much attention to it. I just continued to help these people out of the hole. "Is that everybody?" I asked the 'Chicago Police Department' person. What even is that?

"Spider-Woman!" Kamala shouted, stepping forward to shield Gwen with her body and making her body floppier and squishier to absorb the violent tail whip from Lizard easier.
The hit still knocked Kamala and Gwen to the right into a building and through a wall, causing another wall to stop their sudden momentum. Kamala groaned in pain. "Ow…" Gwen seemed to snap out of her daze and shocked state.
"Ms. Marvel! I'm sorry!"
"It's all good." She chuckled lightheartedly. "I've been hit harder." Her body returned to its normal state.
Gwen pulled her to stand up. "Th-That's Peter…"
"It's not. The Lizard in this universe is doctor and scientist Curtis Connors. This universe has Peter Parker as Spider-Man. That's not your Lizard, Spider-Woman. You're okay." Kamala reassured Gwen, looking her dead in her eyes with her hands on her shoulders.
Gwen nodded, hearing Kamala's words of reassurance. "Yeah… Yeah. You're right. Sorry."
"No need for apologies. Let's go handle that overgrown reptile!" She smiled at her.
"Yeah." They sprinted out of the building and saw Tiana diving down towards Lizard as he stalked over to the pair. Tiana flew in with a punch, all Kamala and Gwen saw was Lizard get completely ragdolled by the punch. To say Gwen was surprised was an understatement.
Lizard was sent tumbling to the left from the punch, but smoothly recovered with a roll to his feet. He looked at the trio and then roared before taking off sprinting at them. Tiana started shooting him with a laser gun, aiming for his face, making him raise his arm to block the shots intense bullets of light energy, burning his scales with each shot.
Kamala dashed forward and enlarged her hand and clenched her fist and slammed it into Lizard abdomen staggering him back. Gwen jumped into the fight and shot two webs onto Lizard's left and right shoulder, he looked up only to see Gwen plunge both her heels into his face.
Lizard took the hit well due to his hard snout; he reached out and managed to grab Gwen's ankle and reeled his arm back and tossed her to Tiana. Tiana was forced to catch Gwen; he threw her so hard they were knocked back in the air a little.
"I don't appreciate you throwing my new friend like that!" Kamala shouted as she leapt forward and coiled her body around the Lizard and kept him locked in place. Lizard tried to move, but he literally couldn't move at all.
Kamala was squeezing him so tight some of his scales were beginning to break and crack. Lizard would roar incredibly loud making her grip loosen and falter so he could move around and try to pry her off. In the air Tiana and Gwen were preparing to slingshot Gwen into Lizard.
With a final pull Lizard managed to get free of Kamala just as Gwen launched herself at him hitting him much harder than last time making him fall back from the impact of the hit, falling flat on his back. "Nice hit!" Kamala said, pulling herself back to stand and regular size.
"Thanks." Gwen said, webbing Lizard to the ground.
Lizard roared, and struggled he was not one to ever be subdued easily. He ripped the webs off.
"What is this, round 2?" Tiana asked, her laser gun now fully cooled down.
"Hey girls!" They heard a booming, female voice from behind them making them turn to see Carol Danvers floating in the air behind Tiana, successfully scaring her by making her flinch.
Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel also known as the former Ms. Marvel.
"Captain Marvel!" Kamala shouted in excitement.
Carol floated down to the ground beside Kamala. "Hey junior." She smiled softly.
Carol has always been watching over Kamala giving her tips and guiding her just a little bit. Which was maybe because Kamala had donned her previous name. But it was mainly because she saw Kamala's incredible potential… And the fanfiction she wrote about her.
A few weeks ago Carol had started teaching Kamala how to fight considering she was… lacking skill in that department. "Y'all took out The Lizard all on your own? I'm impressed." She then stopped, standing in front Gwen.
Gwen, the 5'3 girl, looked up at 5'11 woman. "Who are you? If you don't mind me asking, of course."
"Uh, I'm Spider-Woman."
Carol nodded. "Cool. I'm Captain Marvel." She offered Gwen a handshake. "Nice to meet you."
Gwen shook her hand, a little nervous. "Nice to meet you too.."
Carol noticed Lizard standing back up again, now free of the webs. He immediately roared again. Everyone got into their stance ready to attack but Carol stepped forward putting her arm out in front of Gwen as she did. "I need to warm up the hands, let me handle this." She said cracking her knuckles.
Carol walked up and smoothly avoided a downward tail slam from Lizard and then dashed at him moving very quickly and then she reeled back her fist for a monstrous punch square in the chest. The punch threw Lizard through the air before landing on the ground with a dent in his scaly chest.
Tiana and Gwen both looked surprised, while Kamala was amazed.
A bit further away Viv and Natalie flew around saving people and leading them to the nearest safe spot before they were ambushed and rudely interrupted by Electro shocking Natalie. Natalie casually turned around and looked at Electro. It was Francine Frye.

"Okay, so… Lemme get this right. You saw a suit that looks like mine, and a Synthezoid, and decided we were your best targets?" Natalie genuinely asked the woman.
"Hey, I see hero, I blast with lightning."
Natalie facepalmed. "That's exactly why you're finna go night, night."
The statement confused Francine, but maybe she'd finally get it when she woke up. Viv had punched her from the right where she never seemed to notice she had snuck off to. She hit her clean on the button and she hit the ground for a nice nap.
"Nice work, Viv!"
"Thanks." They both high-fived.
Back in the lab, Riri would reach over and start drinking more orange soda, she had finally figured out the energy and now she needed to splice all the energy up to send everyone back to where they came from. But this also made her realize something.
If she decided to just send everyone back to where they came all willy-nilly, she could be putting someone incredibly dangerous out into the general public which would definitely be at the cost of a few lives. She cracked her knuckles and got back into figuring the rest out.
All of a sudden, the skies would darken, and clouds blocked out any bit of sunlight. A red light started to glow from within the clouds. It shined bright for a brief moment. Right now, everyone still outside or simply able to see it, was looking up at the sky.
They all watched as a huge black and red dragon descend as the cloud split apart allowing it to go through.
"Oh, Dios mío…" Miles G muttered looking up at the symbiote dragon in the sky.
"What the hell is that…" Miles uttered.
"I gotta be seeing things…" Gwen mumbled.
"Well… Didn't think my nightmares would come true." Carol spoke.
"In a world of superheroes and villains, I feel naïve for thinking dragons weren't real." Tiana said, shaking her head.
Miles G connected himself to Riri's mini speaker in her lab. "Riri."
"Yes? What? Is someone dying? Why are you talking to me?"
"Riri, if you can manage to speed up your work it'd be greatly appreciated. There is a damn symbiote dragon in the air right now and it's charging to full power. And you already know, Spider-Man and symbiotes don't have the best track record."
"I'll work faster. Don't interrupt my concentration again. Please."
"Good luck." Miles G said and then disconnected from her speaker.
Miles looked over at Miles G. "What do we do now?"
Miles G sighed. "We make sure no one gets hurt. We don't need any victims from this mix-up. "
During Viv's and Natalie's brief fight and the ending of their fight with The Lizard, Gwen had explained the whole situation to Carol. Which she managed to get of before the symbiotic dragon came from the sky.
"You can assume Ironheart is definitely working her hardest to try and fix this for all of us. No reason to talk her ear off about it." Carol stated, reassuringly.
"What do we do about the dragon?" Gwen asked, pointing up at the currently stationary dragon.
"Well, I'm no genius, but a dragon that big had to be created by someone, right?"
"Right! So, you suggest we look for it while someone distracts the big dragon!" Kamala shouted as if she had a eureka moment.
"Yes, and no. I'm going to look for the person who created it. They've got to be a little strong to create something like that. You and everyone else gather up and prepare to distract that big ole thing. Or take it down. Both is good."
Gwen would jokingly salute. "You got it, Captain."
