Hello everyone! It has been quite a while since I've uploaded huh? It's been a few crazy years with a lot of stuff going on in my life. I stumbled upon a folder full of unfinished fanfics on my drive the other day and I got to writing. Well it's been a long couple of years waiting but here is the next chapter of KCAAS! Hope you enjoy it!
Chapter Twenty-Three
(Author's POV)
The plane has landed and everyone is in two stretch limos with one car behind both filled with their luggage as they drive down Hollywood Boulevard and turn towards The Roosevelt Hotel. Everyone gets off and their luggage is taken inside to their rooms by the bellhops, Emmet and Evelyn then approach everyone with two envelopes full of keys.
"We made a few calls and everyone has a car just in case, they are all over in the parking garage over there on the top floor. All the adult's cars are metallic grey and you kids have matte black." Emmett says. "What cars do we have?" Ichigo asks. "Rolls Royce Phantom Convertibles with tinted windows." Evelyn says pushing her bangs behind her ear and fixing her high ponytail. "Awesome!" Renji says as they are all handed the keys. "Alright you are all free to wander around the city unless you want to get some rest, but please be careful and be back in time for dinner at seven. It's only three so you all have four hours." Byakuya says and everyone nods. The adults go inside to rest for a bit while all the teens decide to walk around and go to Madame Tussauds.
"This is seriously awesome; I haven't been here in years!" Davina says while holding hands with Grimmjow and walking next to Ichigo and Rukia. They are heading down the street to Hollywood & Highland the others split off to go do different things while our main four stuck together. Tatsuki, Renji, Orihime and Uryu stuck together while the twins, Shuhei and Toshiro stuck together. "Alright where do you guys want to head to first?" Davina says. " I say we go and kill time at Dave and Buster's." Grimmjow says as Davina and Ichigo look at each other and nod. "I think that sounds great." Rukia says and they cross the street and go upstairs to Dave and Buster's where they get cards to play the games. At one point the girls are playing Clarity by Zedd on Dance Dance Revolution while the guys lean back a couple feet away just talking about what they should do next. "So what now?" Ichigo asks and Rukia looks at Grimmjow. "Well Grimmjow and I actually have something planned so we were hoping to split up from you guys and meet back up with everyone during dinner." Rukia says and Davina and Ichigo look confused. "It's regarding your guys' Christmas presents." Grimmjow says and the other two shrug and say ok.
The four split up and Davina looks at Ichigo as they watch Grimmjow and Rukia drive off. "What do you think those two are planning?" "Who knows, but we'll find out during Christmas in a couple days." With that the two turn around and go back to the shops to look around and do some Christmas shopping as well.
Rukia has just finished recording her song with Grimmjow's friend Jamie who owns a recording studio here in Los Angeles. As she steps out of the booth Grimmjow rubs the back of his neck and clears his throat. Rukia looks at him with a raised eyebrow and crosses her arms. "What? Did you not like it?" Grimmjow shakes his head and takes a breath. "I kinda wrote a song for Davina, but it's not my normal scene of either rap or rock… It's more boy bandish." Grimmjow says and Rukia's eyebrows shoot up, she moved over and motions for him to get into the recording booth. Grimmjow sighs and hands a disk to Jamie who smirks as Rukia smiles and sits where Grimmjow was as he gets into the booth. Grimmjow puts on the headphones as Jamie starts the track and gives the go ahead.

Rukia claps furiously as Grimmjow blushes slightly and Jamie looks astonished at his long time friend. Grimmjow exits the booth and Rukia tackles him in a hug. "She is going to love it!" Rukia says as Grimmjow hugs her back. "She definitely will dude, I have never heard you sing like that." "Honestly I didn't even know I had it in me until I went ahead and wrote the song." Grimmjow says as Jamie grabs both his and Rukia's disk and hands them to their perspective owner. "You guys are going to kill Christmas." Jamie says as the two give him a hug and thank him again for his services. The two leave in the car given by the parent's and start driving back to the hotel as it's almost dinner.
Christmas Eve
12:00AM
Everyone is gathered in the huge living area of the penthouse suite with a gigantic tree stuffed to the brim with presents. Each family is in their families' perspective matching pajamas and have just started with the gifts. Byakuya who much to his chagrin is wearing a Santa hat saying Bah humbug and was chosen by everyone to give out the presents. "Alright everyone settle down." Hisana says and everyone quiets down as they sit in a big half circle next to the tree. "Alright honey pick a name." Hisana says handing a jar with white papers folded up with everyone's name in it. "Alright, first one up is Ichigo. Choose a gift." Byakuya says and Ichigo nods and searches for a black wrapped present as everyone has their specific gifts wrapped in their signature colors.
"Ahhh here we go." Ichigo says grabbing a medium size box. "Oh it's heavy, and it's from… Rukia! Thanks babe." Ichigo says beaming at her while she fidgets with her hair. Ichigo opens it and it's a small radio/tape/CD player and a CD on top of it. The CD is grey and just has Tattooed Heart by Rukia on it. "Is it ok if I play it?" Ichigo asks and Rukia gulps but nods. Ichigo finds an outlet quickly and starts playing the CD. Melodic music fills the air as Rukia's voice soon starts singing. As the songs plays and it's gets to the chorus everyone starts tearing up and Ichigo looks at Rukia with such loving eyes. As the song finishes everyone claps and praises Rukia, Ichigo stops the CD player right as the song finishes and looks to Byakuya and Hisana. "I'm going to apologize in advance for this." Ichigo says and everyone is confused a beat passes and Ichigo grabs up Rukia in his arms and kisses her with passion. Everyone aww's and even Byakuya who rolls his eyes gives a small smile.
Rukia looks dazed as they pull apart from the kiss and she smiles and giggles at Ichigo. "I'm guessing you liked it?" She asks and he nods. "I love it. Thank you." He says and the rest of the family start receiving their gifts little by little. When Grimmjow gives Davina the same gift as Ichigo received from Rukia she says she'll play the song in private. Grimmjow breathes a sigh of relief as he is nervous about the song. All in all everyone enjoys Christmas and gets amazing gifts from their significant others and family/friends.
It is later in the evening and mostly everyone is asleep, the only ones up are Davina, Grimmjow, and Ichigo. Ichigo has Rukia in his arms while headphones that are connected to the CD player play the song Rukia made for him for Christmas. He is too excited to go to sleep and as he untangles himself from Rukia he decides to write a song for her as well. The notes start playing in his head, a haunting rock ballad in the works of his mind. 'This will be the perfect birthday present.' Ichigo thinks as he writes the music notes along with the words coming to his mind as he hums the melody.
No over in another room Davina is sitting cross legged on the bed she is sharing with Grimmjow as he sits up against the headboard shirtless as the song he wrote plays softly in the room. "I still can't believe you wrote me a song. You are by far the sweetest guy I have ever dated." Grimmjow grins but rolls his eyes at the same time. "I'm the only guy you've ever dated." Davina giggles as she gets under the covers and Grimmjow stops the music. "Do you really think all of our relationships will last?" Davina asks and Grimmjow tightens his grip slightly. "I hope so, we may have some bumps in the road but we'll always have maps in our hearts to lead us back together again." Grimmjow says as he kisses her forehead as they drift off to sleep.
Sorry for the short chapter but I just wanted to get something out to get the creative work flow going. I will try and update soon for the sake of I want to get this story finished. Feel free to leave a review!
