Note: To everyone who might've seen this story update in the last month and thought I posted a new chapter, I originally put this up, but then realized that FFN was having issues, especially with email notifications. So, I took this update down until the issue was finally resolved, so that way, no one would be left in the dark. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

Hey, everyone! It's been a while, hasn't it? Okay, yeah... I'll admit that's quite the understatement. First of all, I'd like to apologize for not updating this story for those who had been anticipating more chapters. I honestly can't even say that I didn't have the time. I have been busy back in 2015, what with college and then grad school right after that, and now currently working a full-time job. But, all-in-all, I still could have spared some time to work on this. Throughout the years that I thought about continuing this but didn't, I eventually came to a conclusion that I'm sure will be bad news to those reading:

I have lost passion for this story.

That's disappointing to hear, right? Granted, my writing wasn't very polished when I started and I'm amazed that it got the recognition that it did from you guys. Around the latest chapters, I became overly concerned about whether or not I was faithfully portraying the characters, started comparing myself to other writers on this site, and didn't have a whole lot of confidence in my originality. I am pretty confident that if I now chose to rewrite this, I'd do a much better job, but I don't really feel like doing that. I had a direction for this story and was intending to do a lot of big things with it while trying utilize canon events: Avatar State Korra vs. Naruto's Four-tailed Version 2 Kyuubi form, Itachi meditating into the Spirit World and meeting Iroh, linking the origin of the Tailed beasts with Raava and Vaatu, expansive backstories for Zaheer and the Red Lotus and more. Over time, however, I realized that at my level of writing, this was too big of a feat to pull off. I also ended up getting second thoughts about how well I could integrate these two series with each other, at least in a way that would satisfy me. You guys probably would've loved it, but I don't think I would've been too happy with what I came up with.

So, with a heavy heart, I have decided to discontinue this fic. Thank you so much to everyone that gave their compliments and support, even to those who gave me criticisms. Also, a big "thank you" to Koikii and pumyte for letting me use the cover art.

While I am choosing to end things with this story, this doesn't mean you'll see the last of me on this site. You'll probably see me doing one-shots/multi-shots here and there. I've even got something in the works that y'all will be seeing from me very soon.
