Chapter 6 - The Start of Her Revenge

Izuku was currently in a room with a person that claims to be the first ever vampire. He screams in shock, but calms himself down and thinks logically about this.

"Do you know why you are in the coffin?" asked Izuku, he saw that Alice was blankly staring at him for a few seconds before her expression turned to rage. She was gritting her teeth and her crimson eyes started to glow. She started mumbling to herself, Izuku could make out some words like 'bastard', 'I trusted him', 'he's dead', and so on. With these words he could kind of make out what happened. Before he could try to calm her down he heard a shout from behind.

"Izuku!" It was Bahadur who snatched him up and jumped away. Soon Cyra pointed her blade at Alice. It seems another misunderstanding that would be a pain in the ass to solve has occurred.

"Put me down!" while Izuku could easily get out of Bahadur's grip, he still insisted in order to get Bahadurs' attention. Bahadur gave him a look and then set him down. Izuku then ran over to Cyra and got in between her and Alice. Alice was too concerned remembering what had happened to her, she never noticed the threats, much to Izuku's relief.

"What are you doing!" questioned Cyra.

"Let me explain…This is Alice, and I think she is on our side."

"Why do you say that?" asked Bahadur.

Izuku goes on to explain that he thinks Alice was betrayed by a vampire, as well that she claims to be the first vampire ever. He tells them that he isn't one-hundred percent sure that this theory is true, so he asks them to just hear her out. Cyra and Bahadur agree and put their weapons away.

As if on cue, Alice finally calms down and looks at her surroundings. She notices the two other people in the room, she looks over to Izuku and asks, "Friends of yours?" "Yes, now can you answer my question?"

"Oh right, you did ask me that. Well, I am the first ever vampire to exist in this world. But before I go on, can you tell me the current affairs of the world?"

"Well…Alice, a vampire named Dracula has been wreaking havoc on earth for a few decades!" said Cyra, who clearly didn't like this Alice girl.

"Is he abnormally tall with black hair?"

"Well that's what the reports say. Why?"

"Nikolas…" mumbled Alice.

"Who?" they all asked.

"I think I know what happened, but in order for you to understand. I must start from the very beginning, so please listen carefully as I will not repeat again." Everyone nods and sits on the floor ready to listen. Alice gives a satisfied nod before starting.

I don't remember exactly how it happened but all of sudden I was here. I didn't have a father to watch over and help in this strange place nor did I have a mother that gave birth to me. I wasn't given a chance to learn parental love, nor any kind of love for that matter. The reason for that is, humans. They are so cruel, just because of my features I have been outcast as a 'monster' or sometimes a witch.

Humans are such weak creatures, things like diseases can kill them so easily. Even though they boast that fact that they are mammals with intelligence , that won't matter if they are dead anyways. I know that I am not human, I haven't gotten sick yet, but if that is the case…then just what am I?

These humans come up with interesting things. It seems like me existing and feeding on them gave them an idea of sorts. 'Vampire' is a funny name, but I think it will grow on me as time passes.

This is a strange situation, I can just leave this man to die, but for some reason my body refuses this thought. I will follow my instincts on this one. Mhm? My body wants me to bite him? But I already fed, so I don't see why I would need-Oh?! I just bit him but didn't suck his blood? That was weird.

Well, he is still breathing so I should take him back to my hideout for now.

He woke up after a few hours of rest? Seems like his body also mostly recovered as well. Interesting.

"Where am I?! Who are you?!"

He looks confused, I should explain. "I saved you. You should be thanking me."

"What? Why would you, a vampire, save me?"

"So you deduced that I was a vampire from my appearance? Well, you are smarter than you look, I'll give you that much. Now, you must work for me. That is the least you could do for your savior."

"...What?"

I wonder how many years it has been? About one-hundred years? These years feel a lot less lonely compared to my first three-hundred years.

"C'mon! Let's fight! I was wondering who was stronger!"

"I think we both know the answer to that, plus I have nothing to gain from it."

"Alright you drive a hard bargain! How about I give you three ounces of female virgin blood if you win? And if I win-"

"There's no need to continue, since you won't win anyway. Now, let us go somewhere away from our queen."

"Ha! Let's see how cocky you are after I beat your ass!"

They're at it again, Silas and Alastor. I mean Alastor always loses even though he starts the fight, so why does he keep fighting Silas anyway? I guess he was always quite a battle junkie. Not my business to worry abou-She's at it again. Why does she keep staring at me like I did something wrong? Perhaps Lilith didn't want to keep living, so I can maybe see why. Still though, she could at least say something to me instead of giving me a death glare.

"It seems they're at it once more?" It was Nikolas, my first underling. I have picked up a few more now that I know I can make them, but these numbers are enough that I don't add another underling.

"Yes, this is what? The fifth time?"

"I wonder how they can keep doing something with such an obvious outcome, anyway what did Alastor wager this time around?"

"Three ounces of virgin blood."

"Well! Isn't that a surprise! I guess he saved it up from our previous hunts. Speaking of, I found a village we can hunt for tonight."

"Nikolas…"

"I know you don't like to feast on humans much now, but the others and I still can only survive on one ounce for about two weeks."

"I understand."

"Now miss Alice, I shall take my leave and make preparations."

Well now that I look back on it, I wonder why I looked down on humans for so long. They may be a little nauseating, but they are still…I don't know how to explain it. It could just be my yearning to connect with humans since I never have been able to. Hold on…Why is Lilith staring at me more ragefully when compared to a minute ago? I don't think I will ever understand her, but not like I need to anyway.

"I love you Alice! Marry me!"

What? What! Hold on, no that can't be possible anyway. He is my underling, I never saw Silas that way nor will I ever, or maybe?

"Give me time to think."

"Yes, your wish is my command!" responded Silas all dramatic like, but I guess that is just part of his charm. Huh? Did I really just…

"She needs time to think of ways to reject you, Silas." said Lilith

"Oh you poor soul, did you get your hopes up?" said Alastor with a mocking tone.

"B-Both of you shut it!" retorted a flushed Silas.

I'm glad that I was finally able to get some alone time, it seems that I too need to think things over, what is love? It comes in many shapes and sizes, and I know that what I feel is…the romantic kind. When did it start? How? I don't know, but I now know but I still don't quite understand. Maybe through experience I can better gain an understanding? I've made up my mind I will accept his proclamation of love, for the both of us. I am embarrassed to admit it, but I feel a little excited about the future. Perhaps…What was that shake? I don't feel good about this, I need to get back to the others!

When I returned to the site of our camp, I saw Nikolas with the others, but everyone except him was unconscious. He was surrounded by an aura of light. Holy Enchantment?

"Oh it seems you have arrived. Welcome back, Miss Alice!"

"What the fuck are you doing Nikolas!"

"My, what a tone. It seems that you care about them more than I thought. Were you going to accept?"

"What?"
"Don't play dumb with me Alice! You know full well what I speak of!"

"What if I was?"

"I do find this timing unfortunate, but I think I should tell you before…nevermind. Alice, I love you! Not in the way you feel for Silas, but more like a human would to their god. I have nothing but admiration for you Alice! Since no one in the known world could ever come close to you in power!"

"What does that have to do with anything?"

"You see, I…altered their memories a bit, removing anything and everything about you. A god can not intertwine with the mortals of earth for that is a taboo! And to make sure you don't, I will annihilate the humans until only you are left. I will let you free before I remove myself from this world and be a sacrifice for your new beginning as a god. You will be the new beginning of this world! How about it Alice? Would you like to help me in creating a new chapter-no a brand new story!"

"You crazy bastard! You know how many flaws a plan such as that has? Plus I won't let you anyway!"

"I know how many flaws this plan has, but I can't just let Silas ruin it for me! Besides, you are not a variable I need to worry about."

"Huh? What the hell does that-" Before I could finish my sentence I felt chains wrap around my arms and legs, halting me and pulling me away. I turned around to see who was pulling me, but it was no one. It was a coffin with swirls on it, but it was pulling me in slowly which gave Nikolas time to give me parting words.

"No one will be able to open it since only I will know the name of Alice, the first vampire. Until we meet again, I have many things to do now. You can blame me for this Alice, to which I will gladly be the recipient of your hatred!"

"You…asshole! If you ever release me, the first I will do is…" I hesitated before finishing my sentence.

"Kill you!"

Slam! The coffin shut.

-NOW-

"That's what happened all those years ago," said Alice.

Before Bahadur and Izuku could stop her, Cyra shot up and tried to wound Alice, but Alice stopped the blade with her finger. Alice looked confused, along with Izuku and Bahadur.

"You mean to tell me, that the cause of all this was you!" said a rage-filled Cyra.

"Yes…I don't think you will accept an apology of any sorts, so I won't bother trying. Just know that currently our goals are the same. To kill Niko-Dracula and put an end to this matter once and for all."

Cyra clicked her tongue and put her weapon away before sitting back down. She then asked a question that both Izuku and Bahadur have been wondering about.

"So how do you propose we defeat Dracula?"

Alice then asks about what they know so far about Dracula and the generals. She suggests a plan that might do the trick but it's a risky one.

"You see Dracula has an item of some kind that can trap me in that coffin again, but it needs to charge. So I think if we head in and attack unexpectedly, Dracula won't have enough time to use it on me. However the problem is the generals, they could warn Dracula about our attack."

With this the room went silent, not because of them giving up, but because they were all trying to think of something, until Alice spoke up once more.

"I left this detail out, but I did come up with an idea. However, it is really reckless and most if not all of you could die. My plan is that each of you fight one of the generals, since they are each on a different floor, one person can stay behind and fight while the rest go up the tower."

Bahadur was about to decline, as this was a dungeon and he didn't want to force Izuku either, but Izuku spoke up.

"I will help!" Izuku gave Bahadur a 'I will explain later' look, so Bahadur also agreed to go along. After him everyone turned to Cyra.

"Listen Alice, while I still blame you for causing all of this, Dracula is the one killing innocent and making underlings. So I want that bastard dead more than you right now."

"We can at least agree on that. Now let us take the artifacts in this room and then we leave!"

They all looted the place.
