When he arrived home Star had overdosed on morphling causing him to lose not 1 but both of his sisters. He would drink more heavily and contemplated morphling as well but didn't as he would remember Star. The following year for the 73rd games Dusk was reaped again and the sight of him being beat to death with a brick by the career from district 2 almost sent him over the edge, the only things keeping him sane were Jackson, Tiffany and Winter who had retired from escorting after Tally had died and had secretly moved to district 10 and married Lysander before Dusk was reaped./p

When he met with the other living victors from district 10 they had all agreed that they wouldn't volunteer for the person who got reaped, but when he heard Jackson's name called he instinctively stepped up before Jackson put his hand up stopping him. His mentors Tiffany and Jackson went into the games, the sight of Tiffany being killed by Enobaria almost killed him, Winter held him tight to ensure he wouldn't do anything drastic, but Jackson's death was the straw that broke the camel's back. Seeing him ripped apart by that enormous mutt sent him over the edge. He tore the house apart at the sight and wailed in pain for hours. Once everything was done Winter came to comfort him. "We should just leave," Winter said, holding her husband tightly. "Where would we go?" Lysander asked with puffy red eyes. "Anywhere but here, there's nothing left for either of us and it's too painful here" Winter says as she holds Lysanders face. Lysander agrees and they pack a couple of bags with necessary items before they fled district 10 in the middle of the night. Not long later a group of peacekeepers went through Victor's Village killing all the victors they came across. Upon entering Lysanders house and seeing the damage on the inside the squad leader guessed they had been ransacked and killed so he reported that all the victors in district 10 were dead./p

Some say they were caught escaping and were killed, others say they made it to the coast outside of Panem where they lived the rest of their lives in peace. Some say they've seen the scarred victor walking around other districts hoping to keep a low profile. No one knows for sure./p
