Chapter 2: A fated meeting on the nightshore. Kaito, the genius of Japanese Soccer.

Maya sighed as she saw Daisuke sitting on the coach with a depressed look.

Kanae was comforting him by patting him on his head. "There, there. Everything will be alright."

"Don't you think you're overreacting, Daisuke? Kaito's flight has just been delayed. He will still be here in time for dinner."

Kaito chuckled. "I wouldn't call me famous or anything. I still just recently received my position as Captain on the team. So I doubt many people would know me. Still, I'm surprised that Daisuke told you about me. Are you his girlfriend perhaps?"

"Yes, I did," said Mika with a smile. "Oh by the way, Daisuke. I met someone on the beach that I think you know."

Daisuke looked confused at first. "Wait, really? Who do you…."

Daisuke felt silent when he saw another person walking through the door.

"Yo," said the figure. "It's certainly has been awhile hasn't it Daisuke?"

The young man gained a smile on his face. He stood up and walked towards the person. He held out his fist. "Yeah, it sure has. Good to see again, Kaito."

Kaito grinned and bumped Daisuke's fist. "You too buddy."

"Kaito," said Maya with a big smile as she walked up to him and gave him a hug.

Kaito chuckled as he gently pat the girl's head. "Hey there Maya. Wow, look at how much you have grown. You must have been eating your veggies."

The girls, and even Daisuke were surprised.

Mika blushed. "Bigger than Daisuke," thought the young girl with a shocked.

Kanae pouted. "Moh, Mika. You are such a spoiled sport. See you later, Daisuke san. And you too Kaito kun,: said the girl with a grin.

Daisuke waved goodbye. But Kaito ignored the blond and said his goodbyes to Mika instead.

"Bye Mika San. Have a good night," said Kaito with smile.

Mika blushed but smiled. "Yeah. You too."
