Every author writes a Curry and Heyes prison story. This is mine.

Ch1 written Jan 2021, due to both the change of the year, and watching the early Roger Davis episodes for the first time. Heyes is missing someone important but all is not lost. Chapter Two added Nov 2023. An expanded version of a challenge posted on the forum, it ends with the boys back where they belong, with each other. Ch3 I never meant to write but the boys told me I had to.

Danny Bilson is still casting a shadow three months after his death, and Heyes has had enough. Now if he can just convince his stubborn partner. This is of course inspired by one of the forum prompts. Thanks to Kathy for the brainstorm session!

I am visited by a rather gruntled Heyes, who has something to say about how I treat his partner in my writing.With guest appearances from the man in question. LOL. Chapter Five actually features some of the rules. Chapter Six has both of them. Ch7 has the Kid's rules.

This will be an on-going piece of short stories with each chapter being a story unto itself, none more than about 5000 words. That way I won't be taking up so much space. While it says In Progress, each chapter will only be posted when complete

While hunting in the wods near Devil's Hole, Kid and others come across an unconscious woman dressed in Indian clothing and bring her back to Devil's Hole, a decision that may not be easy to resolve.

Broke and desperate for work, Heyes and the Kid join a cattle drive not knowing the men are rustlers and murderers.

Unrelated drabbles sparked by wonderful pictures that a friend shares on fb. The drabbles accompanied by the inspiring pic, can be found over on my site, which has a link posted to it on my fb profile. Chapter 4 and chapter 11 both contain major character death. Each drabble is complete. A drabble is defined as a short fan fiction typically 100 words.

A sheriff from the boys outlaw past catches up with them, causing pain for the Kid. But another face from the past helps makes sure alls well that ends well for our two reforming outlaws.
