Two sinister looking characters huddled together on a dark back alley on the Isle of the lost. By the look of them they were a couple of Uma's pirates. Since the bridge had been built between Auradon and the Isle most of the pirates who worked for Uma hadn't been any trouble at all. There were whispers, though, that there were some of Uma's Pirates who were not pleased with Uma's policy of peace.

These two were Rourke and Tobias to sons of one of Captain Hook's old crew members.

"Hey Rourke," said Tobias, "Do you know what I heard?"

"No but I'm sure you're going to tell me." Snorted Rourke

"I heard that if we get ourselves an injection of an Olympian's blood it will give us their power!" Replied Tobias.

"Well what good does that do us," snapped Rourke, "The only Olympian around here is Hades and I'm not going to mess with him!"

"We don't have to," said Tobias, "There is someone else at Auradon Prep that will do just as well!"

"Who?" asked Rourke

"Jason, the son of Hercules!" replied Tobias, "true he's only part Olympian but he has superhuman strength and if we could get even his power, we could take over Uma's whole guild!"

"That sounds good, except for one thing," said Rourke, "How can we ever hope to get a transfusion of his blood we'd be no match for him if he sees us coming."

"Well of course we can't use the direct approach." Snorted Tobias, "But I have a plan!"

Jace walked down the street on the Isle with his jacket slung over his shoulder. He was dressed up in black pants and a white button-down shirt. He adjusted his glasses as he walked. He was getting a few curious looks from some of residents of the Isle. Jace guessed that it was a little unusual to see someone from Auradon walking up this particular street this time of the evening. There was, however, a very good reason for Jace to be here. It was also the reason that he was dressed up. You see, Jace had a date with a certain bubbly redhead. He smiled as he thought of Dizzy Tremaine and quickened his pace a little.

He rounded a corner and came within sight of the Curl up and Dye, the beauty parlor where Dizzy worked, and the place where he was supposed to meet her.

As he approached the door, his blood ran cold. The front door of the place was standing ajar. Jace approached the door slowly and stepped inside.

The place had been ransacked. Two of the chairs were overturned on the floor and Dizzy headphones had been smashed and thrown under a table in the corner. Then he saw it. a message scrawled in red fingernail polish, it read:

We have Dizzy, if you want to see her alive again, come to the back room of Uma's restaurant, midnight.

Jace's face flushed with anger. He turned and stormed out. As soon as he got out on the street, he made a sharp right turn and strode up the street toward Hades' cave. When he got there, Pain and Panic tried to stop him, but he was in no mood to be messed with and threw them aside easily. They bounced off a nearby wall and landed in a dumpster.

He strode down into the cave where he found Hades sitting on his throne. He strode up and looked Hades straight in the eye.

"We need to talk, Uncle!" he snapped

Hades' eyes began to glow as he leered at Jace threateningly.

"Well, Well, Well," he said rising dramatically to his feet his flaming hair glowing brighter and brighter. His voice got louder with each word, "Sweet Revenge at last, the son of Hercules is finally in my power!" Hade's voice was now reverberating off the walls of the cave, but Jace just stood there with his arms folded across his chest looking unimpressed.

"Oh, drop the act!" he snorted calling Hades' bluff, "We both know that you're not allowed to hurt me."

Hades harumphed and flopped back down in his throne. His hair going back to normal.

"What do you want?!" he grumbled

"Information," replied Jace, "Somebody's kidnapped Dizzy Tremaine."

"What does that have to do with me?" Said Hades

"Nothing happens on this Island without you knowing at least something about it." Replied Jace, "and, the sooner you tell me what you know, the sooner I leave."

"Fine," snorted Hades, "But all I know is that there has been talk among some of the pirates, that Uma's friendship with Mal and Ben has made her soft and that she's no longer worthy to be leader of the Pirate guild on the Isle. There have also been two pirates hanging around the street near the Curl up and Dye. Word is, they were seen near there about an hour ago."

"Got any names?" asked Jace

"Only two," Replied Hades, "Rourke and Tobias."

"Thank you, Hades," said Jace, "Now that wasn't so painful, was it?"

Hades just snorted.

"Goodbye dear great uncle," said Jace, just to needle Hades, as he was turning to go.

"Goodbye and good riddance!" snorted Hades, "and good luck." he added quietly after Jace was out of earshot."

As soon as he was out of Hades cave, he turned and made a beeline for Auradon. He only had a few hours till midnight and if he was going to have a prayer of penetrating the Pirates guild and finding Dizzy, he would need the one person most of the pirates on the Isle were still afraid of, Uma.

Then he had a thought that almost stopped him in his tracks.

"Uma once held Ben captive on her ship," he thought, "And those pirates don't usually do things on their own hitch, they take orders from her. But she wouldn't have had Dizzy kidnapped just to prove she was still Pirate enough to lead the guild, would she?!"

Jace's jaw became set and even more determined.

"Well, I'll soon Find out!"
