Chapter 1: Enter the Dragon:
Lü Dongbin's POV:
My name is Lü Dongbin, and I am one of the Eight Immortals. The others have been banishing the Demon Sorcerers and now I must banish the Fire Demon, Shen Du. He has ruled China for a long time, and I am going to save the land from him. First, I'm going to have to find his hidden palace. I was walking, but when I decided to stop to take a seat, someone stole my sword!

The thief tried to get away, but I managed to stop him.
"I believe you have something that belongs to me," I said.
"I'm warning you... I could use your sword against you!"
"But you won't," I said.
He then gave in and returned my sword.
"I'm sorry."
"Care to explain why you would steal," I asked, "you could get into a lot of trouble."
"You're only in trouble if you get caught."
"THERE HE IS!"
"I'm in trouble!" The thief then ran, and the guards chased after him.
Franz: Gotta keep one jump ahead of the breadline
One swing ahead of the sword
I steal only what I can't afford
And that's everything
One jump ahead of the lawmen
That's all, and that's no joke
These guys don't appreciate I'm broke
Guards: Riff raff!
Street rat!
Scoundrel!
Take that!
Franz: Try a different tac', guys
Guards: Rip him open
'Round the back lines
Franz: I can take a hint, gotta face the facts
Could really use a friend or two (Girls: huh?)
Girls: Oh, it's sad, Franz's hit the bottom
He's become a one-man rise in crime
Girls' Mother: I'd blame parents, 'cept he hasn't got 'em
Franz: Gotta eat to live, gotta steal to eat
Tell you all about it when I got the time
One jump ahead of the slowpokes
One skip ahead of my doom
Next time gonna use a nom de plume
One jump ahead of the hitmen
One hit ahead of the flock
I think I'll take a stroll around the block
Guards: Stop, thief!
Vandal!
Outrage!
Scandal!
Franz: Let's not be too hasty
Fat Lady: Still, I think he's rather tasty
Franz: Gotta eat to live, gotta steal to eat
Otherwise, we'd get along (Guards: wrong!)
One jump ahead of the hoofbeats (Guards: Vandal!)
One hop ahead of the hump (Guards: Street rat!)
One trick ahead of disaster (Guards: Scoundrel!)
They're quick, but I'm much faster (Guards: Take that!)
Here goes:
Better throw my hand in, wish me happy landin'
All I gotta do is jump!
I then found a guard. "What was his crime," I asked.
"He stole from Lord Shen Du," says the Guard.
"You don't say," I said.
Shen Du's POV:
I was ssssitting on my throne when Nichang entered.
"My Lord," ssssayssss Nichang, "we have to find the one you seek."
"I hunger, Nichang and I am growing impatient," I ssssaid.
"We will find the maiden to be your sacrifice," ssssayssss Ninchang, "I promise you that."
"Then keep your word," I ssssaid as I tracccce my claw over her shoulder length white hair.
"Yes, my Lord."
