"Noceda? Is that you weirdo?" A voice called from behind them, which made Luz pause.
"Oh no (edited for cussing), Luz exhaled, recognizing the voice instantly.
She turned to see a Caucasian girl with black curly hair, brown eyes, and freckles. She was wearing a blue bomber jacket, and a brown t-shirt under it.
"I haven't seen you since fall break started!" The girl claimed.
"Leave me alone, Avery." Luz flatly replied, not wanting to deal with her old tormentor from school right now.
"What have you been doing all this time? Sacrificing goats in the woods or something?" Avery snarked, not listening to Luz's request.
Luz rolled her eyes, annoyed by the comment... While the Collector didn't seem to fully understand the conversation, or Avery's hostility.

"Is something wrong sweet potato Amity asks concerned passing her a burger as she saw Vee cutting the Collector's chicken nuggets huh what, Luz asks shaking her head I'll uh I'll be right back.
