Chapter One: A Meteorite Strike
A/N: Everyone in this Chase and Alexis are together as of where the last book left off. This is a requested continuation from that book by another user. I won't be doing another Chase X Alexis so this is the last one.
"All right pups we've got a fire at the scrapyard. And by the sounds of it we don't have much time. No fire's too big no pup's too small!" Ryder shouts as the group is preparing to go help some people.
"Skye you are clear for takeoff." Rubble says as he and Alexis go over to Skye.
"You got this Skye!" Alexis says.
"Let's take to the sky!" Skye shouts happily as she turns on the engines of her vehicle.
"And away we go!" Rubble shouts as Skye takes off flying.
"Pups get ready to launch. PAW Patrol is on a roll!" Ryder shouts as he and the other pups get on their vehicles and get going.
"I've got eyes on the fire. It's a big one. I'm going in for a water drop. The entrance is blocked. I'm gonna clear a way in." Skye says as she comes in on the communicator.
"All right Marshall, Alexis let's fight that fire." Ryder says as the group arrives where the fire is.
"You got it Ryder!" Alexis say as she begins bending water from a nearby fire hydrant at the fire while Marshall is using his water canon.
"Help!" A voice shouts the group sees a woman and man trapped in the building as it is on fire next to some gas canisters.
"Marshall, Alexis the trailer's on fire!" Ryder shouts.
"I'm all out of water!" Marshall shouts.
"Me too!" Alexis says.
"Oh no." Ryder says in alarm.
"Incoming!" Skye shouts as she drops water onto the trailer putting out the fire.
"You see that right there? That's why she's my favorite pup." Liberty says as Skye lands her vehicle.
"PAW Patrol!" The woman trapped inside shouts as she bangs on the door.
"Let's get you out of there." Rocky says as he frees the man and woman before they come running out.
"Oh thank you, thank you, thank you!" The man says gratefully.
"We're just glad you're okay. Hopefully there's not too much damage." Ryder says.
"Well the good thing is it was all junk to begin with." The man says.
"These are the brave pups I was telling you about. This is Bruce. He's a sensitive soul. This is all a bit much for him." The woman says as she holds out a fish bowl with a fish in it.
"Hey let's get a picture with Bruce and the pups." The man says.
"Oh great idea Hank." The woman says.
"Janet grab the little one so she gets in the photo." Hank says.
"I'm fine down here." Skye says as everyone gather's for the picture.
"Come here sweetie." Janet says as she picks Skye up.
"Everybody say Junk." Hank says.
"Junk!" Everyone says in union as Hank takes the picture.
"That trailer was locked from the outside. How did that happen?" Chase asks.
"Yeah. Even when stuffs an accident that lock was no accident. It was deliberately made to lock you in." Alexis says.
"Well you're not gonna believe this but somebody locked us up so they could steal our 10-ton electromagnet." Hank says.
"Who would want to steal a 10-ton electromagnet?" Ryder asks.
*Timeskip*
"Come on Rubble. You're gonna miss the meteor." Chase says as he and Alexis go over to Rubble as he is getting dog treats from a machine.
"Do you really expect me to watch a once-in-a-lifetime celestial event without snacks?" Rubble asks as he kicks the machine making a bunch of snacks fall out.
"I'd say that's more than a snack." Alexis says.
"To me it's a snack." Rubble says as Alexis and Chase chuckle as Rubble walks off with his treats.
"Hey Chase you have a rip in your suit." Ryder says as he comes over.
"I do?" Chase asks.
"Yeah. Looks like you're too big for this thing already. You too Alexis. You're all growing so fast." Ryder says as he looks at Alexis and Chase's suits.
"All of us? Even me?" Skye asks as she comes running over.
"Not yet Skye. You're still pretty much the same size. But it's nothing to worry about. All pups grow at their own speed. Some grow fast and some grow slower. Oh great. They're here. Come on up. Pups,l we've got company. I'd like you to meet the Junior Patrollers. Nano." Ryder says as the group hears a doorbell chime as three small identical pups come into the room.
"Hello!" Nano says happily.
"Mini." Ryder says.
"Hi!" Mini says.
"And Tot." Ryder says.
"What's up?" Tot asks.
"When they grow up they want to be in the PAW Patrol. So I invited them to watch the meteor shower with us." Ryder says as Nano runs over to Alexis.
"You're Chase and Alexis." Nano says excitedly.
"Uh yep." Chase says nervously.
"That's us." Alexis says as Nano circles her and Chase.
"Are you really a wolf? And are you guys really together?" Nano asks curiously.
"I am a wolf. Not a normal one though." Alexis says as she smiles proudly.
"As for the other thing we are together yeah." Chase says as he and Alexis smile at each other.
"Cool." Nano says happily.
"Why don't you guys check out the telescope?" Ryder asks as the pups run over to the telescope.
"Cute aren't they?" Alexis asks as she smiles at Chase.
"Yeah. Reminds of when I was that small." Chase says.
"Me too." Alexis says as she and Chase nuzzle.
*Timeskip*
"There it is!" Rubble says as the group sees the meteorite in the sky.
"I didn't think it would be so bright." Skye says as Alexis nods in agreement.
"It looks like it's headed straight for us." Chase says before Ryder's wrist computer starts beeping.
"That's because it is! Everybody out of the pup tower! Get those people inside! Go, go, go!" Ryder shouts as the group runs to the slide and slides down to the crowd of people.
"Everybody out of the street! You need to take cover right now!" Chase shouts.
"This meteor shower is about to literally become a shower and it's aimed at us! Get inside now!" Alexis shouts.
"Take shelter! The meteor's heading straight for us!" Ryder shouts as the pups begin getting everyone inside.
"Clear!" Liberty shouts.
"Street's clear!" Rocky shouts.
"Clear!" Marshall shouts.
"We're clear too!" Alexis shouts.
"Good job pups. Now take cover!" Ryder shouts as everyone takes cover as the meteorite crashes into the Pup Tower and crash lands into the road before coming to a stop.
"You okay Alexis?" Chase asks as he looks at Alexis concernedly.
"Yeah. You?" Alexis asks as Chase nods.
"Is everybody okay? Wait. Where are the Junior Patrollers? Nano? Mini? Tot?" Ryder shouts.
"Whoa!" Nano, Mini and Tot say as they come out of hiding.
"I'm so glad nobody got hurt." Ryder says.
"Oh no. Look." Alexis says as she and the others see the destroyed tower.
"The pup tower." Skye says sadly.
"It's completely destroyed. Our home." Chase says sadly.
"Our vehicles." Zuma says sadly.
"It's all gone." Marshall says sadly before the group sees the crowd gathering around something and goes over to see it is the glowing meteorite.
"That little thing did all this?" Liberty asks as Ryder notices the lights nearby are acting weird.
"This meteor is giving off some kind of strange energy pulse. Let's get it out of here until we find out what's going on." Ryder says.

Life story: Alexis was born in the mountains with her mother and her father. She is the only one of her litter. Her parents and pack both were killed when she was 3 by another wolf and his pack. Thanks to her mother she survived the slaughter and was raised by her adoptive family.
