A reader posted a review on the last chapter. The reviewer said Edward was bold when taking Bella out of the bar/restaurant with her dad there. In honor of that reviewer, I am starting the chapter where we left off, but in Edward's POV so he can explain himself. Enjoy!

Edward POV
"Bella, please... Please tell me you feel this connection?"
We're still outside, in an alleyway no less. I know this isn't the right time or place for this conversation, but I couldn't let her slip away this time.
When Bella was a no show at the game, I called Twilight Graphics to inquire if Bella was given the tickets. Getting the information was harder than I hoped it'd be.
The person who answered the phone didn't even know who she was. Hell, I didn't even know her name when I called. After explaining to her who I was and what I was requesting, she transferred me to someone in the advertising department. Who then transferred me to a Mr. Biers. Once I explained everything for a third time, I finally learned her name was Bella.
Apparently, Twilight Graphics has a company policy against employees accepting free tickets or other gifts from clients. To say I was relieved was an understatement. Hopefully, it meant she wanted to come, but couldn't. After our kiss, I'm convinced she feels the same, but I need to hear it!
I'm still holding her hand up to my chest and can feel my heart beating a mile a minute. I can't help but look into her eyes, they're absolutely beautiful, almost hypnotic. I'm sure she can see the vulnerability in mine. I'm about to look away, breaking eye contact with her, when she finally answers my plea.
"Yes Edward, I feel it. It's like you said, we don't know each other, but there's this pull, it's magnetic. I can't really explain it, but I feel drawn to you."
"That's the best thing I've heard all day, Bella."
I give her a big smile, which she returns, and lean my forehead on hers. Needing to keep my libido in check, I kiss her lips again, but just a peck this time.
I'll have to reign in my desires for this girl, she's just too tempting.
Taking a deep breath, I take a step back, but keep hold of her left hand. Looking at my watch, I see it's almost midnight. I'm surprised to see we've only been outside for about 20 minutes.
"Come on, we should go back in. I'm sure your dad must be worried about you."

Bella POV
Edward leads us back inside and towards the bar. When we're about ten feet from the bar, I stop, stopping Edward as well.
"Bella, everything okay?"
"Absolutely, look." I say pointing towards dad.
Dad is at the bar, looking like a kid on Christmas morning. I see at least five of Edward's teammates surrounding him, as he sits on a barstool. I can't even begin to imagine what he might be telling them!
"Should I be worried?" Edward asks as he pulls me closer, putting his arms around my waist.
"I think if anyone should be worried, it's me! If I didn't know any better, I'd swear he has a 'Bella file' he adds to if I do something to either embarrass or injure myself."
Edward removes his arms from around me and grabs my hand again, pulling me towards my dad and Edward's teammates. As we get closer, I hear my dad say 'This thing will take our picture' and feel the blood drain from my face.
"Dad, no, please stop!" I'm so embarrassed, I cover my face with my hands, sadly letting Edward's hand go in the process.
"Bella, but I'm just now getting to the best part."
My dad is eating up all the attention and again, any chance he gets to embarrass me, the better. I just have to keep reminding myself it's because he loves me so much and makes me blush every time, without fail. I decide to bite my tongue and keep quiet, making a hand motion for him to continue.
Edward, who is standing directly behind me, puts his arms around my waist, calming me immediately, which definitely doesn't go unnoticed by dad or Edward's teammates.
My dad tells the rest of the story, impersonating my childhood lisp, which makes everyone, including Edward and I, laugh.
Being this close and comfortable with Edward this quickly is causing my head to spin. I'm about to remove myself from Edward's grasp, in order to go to the restroom, needing a minute to myself, when he does it for me. I turn briefly to look at him when he releases me and I'd almost swear he could read my mind with the amount of understanding I see in his eyes.

Edward POV
Bella excuses herself to the restroom. Unfortunately, my teammates do the same, except they leave the restaurant, leaving me alone with Bella's dad. Needing a minute to bolster my confidence, I delay the inevitable and order a beer before turning to Charlie.
"Looks like Bella and I picked the best time to return. That was a heck of a story you told about Bella and the old Braves' mascot, Rally."
Seeing Charlie's face, I immediately realized my mistake, but it's too late. Bringing attention to the fact Bella and I disappeared outside earlier was probably the worst thing I could do. I'm sure I look like a fish out of water as I try to think of something to say. I'm not sure what Charlie does for a living but I'm hoping he's not a professional fighter or has a license to carry a gun! I'm about to start backpedaling when he starts laughing.
"Oh man, you should have seen your face! You looked like a fish out of water."
He just keeps laughing and I have no idea how to respond or what he finds so funny. Then I think about what he said, and I can't help but laugh now, as I really must have looked like a fish out of water!
After another moment he stops laughing, but I can't seem to stop as I keep picturing a blubbering fish. Once I finally begin to calm down, I hold up both hands in a sort of surrender.
"Okay, okay, I'm done, sorry."
I hear Bella as I'm lowering my arms and almost put them right back up at her words.
"Dad, please tell me you didn't bring your gun and are threatening Edward?!"
"Who, me?" Her dad says, pointing at himself. A picture of ease if I ever saw one!

Bella POV
Feeling much better after having a moment to myself, I left the bathroom, ready to spend more time with dad and Edward.
Coming back to the table, I saw Edward had his arms up, as if he was being arrested. Making me break into a sprint and hoping not to trip on my own feet.
"Dad, please. Edward doesn't know you're just joking."
I turn to Edward, grabbing his hand, hoping to keep him from running for the hills.
"Edward, I promise. Dad's just kidding around. Besides, Atlanta is not in his jurisdiction."
I see Edward not his head in understanding. He squeezes my fingers, appearing a bit more relaxed. I'm happy to see I'm able to calm him in return.
"Anyone else hungry? I haven't eaten anything since before the game and I have definitely worked up an appetite."
Oh shit! I squeeze Edward's fingers, hard.
"Is that right, son. You've worked up an appetite?"
I can't keep it in any longer and apparently dad can't either. We're both leaning heavily on the bar, laughing. I can honestly say I'm having trouble keeping myself off the ground.
Once I've finally calmed down, I look at Edward. The expression on his face, there are no words, and his words keep me from moving or saying anything. All I can do is bite my lip and stare into his emerald green eyes.
"You have no idea how beautiful you are, do you?" He pushes the hair from the side of my face behind my ear, but before he can continue, my dad interrupts.
"Alright Edward, you deserve a meal after that game you played. Anyone want to share an appetizer with me?"
And that's that. My dad sends a wink my way, confirming his support of me and Edward. Is there an Edward and I?
