Chapter 3 - Final Fantasy
This would be another set of stories where the protagonist finds himself in the game, but now as his new reality. Unfortunately, I stopped following the Final Fantasy saga some time ago, so I can only write about the games I played.
That is, Final Fantasy I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, XIII. I'm kind of a fan of JRPGs in general and I try to complete 100% of the games, even if the older ones don't have a percentage for you to track your progress, so I don't lack content to write about.
That said, let's get to the ideas.
1 – The General of the Empire / Final Fantasy VII
Our MC finds himself in Vector, the capital of the future Gestahl Empire, before Emperor Gestahl started the war, unfortunately, or fortunately, the MC accidentally saves the Emperor's life during an assassination attempt carried out by political enemies when the Emperor took power through of a coup d'état.
Thanks to this, the MC becomes a person of trust for the Emperor, even though he doesn't want to, and ends up receiving a high position in the capital's society. Unfortunately, the MC now has to deal with the expectations placed on him by the Emperor.
In this case, leading military campaigns as a general, conquering neighboring kingdoms and cities, due to the Emperor's desire to acquire more power and conquer the world.
The MC would work with General Leo, Celes, Kefka, and Terra during the war, but most of the time, he would be an "antagonist" as due to the amount of power and influence he acquired. He could not simply switch sides.
The MC would fight using a Magitek armor, as he is practically an ordinary person. The Magitek armor is a mecha suit that works with a mix of magic and science, and in the future, the MC would go through the Magitek Soldier project, acquiring magical powers.
2 – PSYCOM / Final Fantasy XIII
The MC enlists in the PSYCOM forces, mainly because he had no choice, as it was the only way for him to get money when he arrived in Cocoon. This puts him in direct contact with Lightning.
Now he needs to find a way to help the protagonists without being discovered and acquire allies within PSYCOM to mitigate or avoid the damage and deaths caused in the game's final events.
*Note: Unfortunately, I don't have much to say about this one, as the idea is similar to that of Final Fantasy VI, and honestly, the story of Final Fantasy XIII is difficult to understand, I would have to review the Lore and develop the idea over time.
