OK...It's been a while since I updated this story I admit it's because I knew I had to finally show what was going on with Jervis and he's my least favorite of the 'Tea Party Gentlemen' but otherwise there are some references to the BTAS Episode The Lion and the Unicorn and the The Batman Adventures Comics

Unfortunatly...Poor Jervis had been caught by Proteus and Dr. Noble was having her 'Bad Boys' Mutant Dogs who were mostly created for hunting down and capturing 'wild' Mutant Animals but now they were being used to grill a human...One of the Bad Boys, Killer the Doberman Pinscher jumped at this chance he loved cop media and wished he could be one he had tried all the 'Bad Cop' tactics he had seen but the Mad Hatter was surprisingly not so easily intimidated...I mean...He's been in Arkham! Lyle Bolton was scarier than this Dog pretending to be human!

Finally Noble decided to bring out the big guns, she injected him with truth serum, very top secret stuff they did everything possible to convince the public it didn't actually exist!

"All right Tetch." Noble said with her arms crossed "Just what are you up to? And where have your fellow Arkham Inmates gone?!"

Fortunatly for Jervis he had no clue about the second question so he had no answer to give! However with the first question he was straining against the truth serum.

"You won't get an answer from me Madame..." Jervis groaned as he struggled against his binds

"That truth serum will kill you if you do not answer..." Noble said sternly

However Jervis had more than a few tricks up his sleeve, using his own weird 'Wonderland' way of thinking he used a poem from the Alice books as a 'metaphorical' way of telling that would make sense only to him.

"The lion and the unicorn
Were fighting for the crown

All around the town..."

"OK...This guy is giving me the creeps!" Said Vegas, a Briard and the 'Sweetest' of the Bad Boys although that wasn't saying much he felt twinges of sympathy for the Mutants they captured but he never did anything about it. "He's like all those horror movie villains who recite nurserey rhymes..."

"Quiet!" Noble snapped "I think we might have a breakthrough!"

However Jervis had one more trip up his sleeve from a time he tried to capture Alice Pleasance again...He went into a catatonic state. They checked him, his heart, his breathing, all vital signs were normal he seemed to have found a way to beat the truth serum...For now...

"Blast these lunatics!" Noble fumed "Why did I ever think hiring them would be a good idea?!"

"Uh...Boss..." Said Beasly a French Mastiff and oldest of the Bad Boys "...I think I found a possible lead in the newspaper..."

He handed her today's newspaper, and pointed to her the article in question, two local citizens Mr. and Mrs. Black reporting their daughter Vanessa had gone missing when they went out one night and seemed to have completely vanished without a trace, followed by on the night she disappeared some eyewittnesses saw a Girl who might fit the description but she seemed to have terrifying features like fangs and multiple eyes then the strange girl upon noticing the reaction...Shimmied down a storm drain...

DUN DUN DUN! So obviously Vanessa's parents were going to go to the police once Vanessa didn't show up in 24 hours just kind of showing the consquenses of that
