Chapter 2: Momotarō:
Momotarō's POV:
I am sorry for interrupting Jack's story, but I figured you would like to know who I am. My name is Momotarō and believe it or not, I was born from a giant peach. I could not make that up if I tried. An old, childless woman found the peach and was going to eat it, but then she found me in it. Would you eat a peach with a baby inside? I was sent by the Gods to be a son for her and her husband. They named me Momotarō. One day, I left to fight a band of oni who have marauded over the land. I defeated their leader. Then one day, I met Urikohime. She has green-golden eyes and waist length dark green hair with light green stripes. She dresses in a kimono with a light green/dark green outer robe and a pink inner lining, tied together with a big pink bow with a cream-colored stripe. She also wears white socks and wooden sandals. Her hair is pulled up into a bun and held in place by a plant-themed hair pin. She says that like me, she was born from a fruit, a melon and she was adopted by a couple with no child of their own. It seems we were made for each other.
Urikohime: This is too good to be true
I can't believe it's real
Can it be you
I really see
I never knew I'd find an angel
And out of the blue
You came to me
You're all the heavenly things
That I've been dreaming of
Don't spread your wings
And fly away
But if you're only passing through
Then take me to heaven with you
Or is this a dream
Too good to be true
Momotarō: This is too good to be true
I can't believe it's real
Can it be you
I really see
I never knew I'd find an angel
Out of the blue
You came to me
You're all the heavenly things
That I've been dreaming of
Don't spread your wings
Don't fly away
Momotarō/Urikohime: But if you're only passing through
Then take me to heaven with you
Or is this a dream
Too good to be true!
"I have never met anyone like me before," I said.
"Did you really defeat a demon," asks Urikohime.
"An oni, to be specific," I said, "and if another ever showed up, I would fight it again, especially for you."
We then kissed.
. . .
The next day, I walked over to see her again, but when I saw her...
"Do I know you," asks Urikohime.
"UUUUUUUUUmmmmmmmmm... yes, we met yesterday," I said, "we did a song together." Something was not right.
"OOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhh... yyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh... uuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhh... I'm sorry, but that was just a one-time thing. I'm going to have to..."
I then grabbed her and removed her disguise. It was a demon. "WHO ARE YOU?!"
"Relax Kid," says the Demon and he was a male demon and yet he's willing to disguise as a woman.
"WHERE IS URIKOHIME?!"
"Okay, look, my name is Amanojaku. My boss told me to do this."
"Do what," I asked.
"Kidnap the girl and take her place. Your girlfriend's in the clutches of Po Kong the Mountain Demon!"
"WHERE IS PO KONG?"
"That I don't know, but if you want to find her, maybe these magic beans can help?"
"BUT WHY DID SHE TOOK URIKOHIME?"
"That I don't know, she just simply told me to kidnap the girl and took her place. That's it."
. . .
I traveled the world, looking for Urikohime and it's been a year, but I did not find her and these beans... I don't know what kind of magic they could provide, but it was not going to help me. I then saw someone with a cow. I could use some milk and that cow might provide it. Maybe he'd like these beans.
To Be Continued
Momotarō and Urikohime are the Ancestors of Julie Yamamoto. Julie and her Paternal Side of the Family have Black Hair with Dark Green Highlights and Light Green Stripes along with Dark Grey Pupils with Green-Gold Irises. Momotarō's story about him, Urikohime, and Amanojaku was during the time of Samurai Jack/Mermaid Pearl. In the next chapter, we see Zhang Guolao.
