Chapter 3: Zhang Guolao:

Zhang Guolao's POV:

I am sorry for interrupting Jack's story as well, but I also figured you would like to know who I am. I am Zhang Guolao. I am one of the Eight Immortals. I have been searching for the Mountain Demon. She ruled Japan, but she is nowhere to be found. Once I find her, I will banish her to the Demon Netherworld. One day, I followed Amanojaku, a servant of Po Kong. It was looking at this girl. I wonder why.

Amanojaku: How many times
Are you gonna take it
Look in my eyes
Help me make this make sense

Night after night
You sat up and cried
Wondering when you're gonna see things clearer
You don't even realize
That at this very moment

"It plans to impersonate the girl," I said, "but why?"

I then decided to follow the creature. I was making sure it did not notice me. The creature then grabs the girl, but I arrived and tried to save her. The creature and I then fought, but the creature used dirty tricks and knocked me out.

I woke up and saw a young man interrogating the creature. It gave him beans. I recognized those beans! They are the Beans of Fantasia! They have the power to grow into a beanstalk that can take you anywhere in the Universe! I must follow that young man and get those beans!

I followed the young man all the way to England where he traded the beans to another young man for a cow. I don't believe this; magic beans and he traded them for a cow? What is wrong with today's youth? I then followed that other young man, but I lost him in a crowd. If the other Immortals find out about any of this, I'll never live it down!
