Chapter 7: Dragon War:
Lü Dongbin's POV:
The Princess is now safe, but now my friends and I are surrounded by vicious dragons that serve Shen Du.
"Dragons are normally peaceful creatures," I said.
"I think they came from our country," says Franz.
"I'll take the one on the left," says Peter, "you guys take everyone else."
We had to defend ourselves, but the dragons had the advantage.
"I shouldn't have volunteered," says Wilhelm.
"This is too much even for this hunter," says George.
"I'm going to die," says Peter.
"They're everywhere," I said.
Singer/Chorus: Go north, go north with wings on your feet
Go north with the wind where the three rivers meet
There's a clearing of sorts in the circle of trees
Where the wild constellations shine one, two, and three
Look all around you and see
Deep in the forest, there dragons will be
They come from the earth, yes, they come from the stone
The icy cold north, that's where they call home
Go where the mountain kisses the sea
Better be brave, far braver than me
Look all around you and see
Deep in the forest, there dragons will be
If a dragon should find you, you might ought to run
No one has lived through such a run in, not one
So, if you hear a roar, goodness' sake, leave them be
Up where you find them wild and free
Look all around you and see
Deep in the forest, there dragons will be
Look all around you, you won't find me!
We then managed to get away from the dragons.
. . .
We were in a hidden room.
"We can't find Shen Du as long as those lizards are out there," says Franz.
"I have an idea," I said, "there is a spell that can trap the dragons in another dimension."
"Okay," says Wilhelm, "then do it."
"I'll need you all to keep the dragons distracted," I said.
"Do you really need that," asks Peter.
. . .
The Four Skillful Brothers were then keeping the dragons distracted.
"I hate dragons," says Franz.
I began working on the spell. "Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fai Di Zao," I started saying, "Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fai Di Zao, Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fai Di Zao!"
Then a portal opened on a wall and the dragons all started getting sucked in.
"That worked," says Peter.
"Now to find Shen Du," I said.
. . .
We found Shen Du's witch.
"Where is he," I asked.
"Fools, I would never betray Lord Shen Du," she said, "besides, whatever torture you give me is nothing compared to whatever punishment I could get. He's a demon. It's kind of his thing."
She then disappeared.
"Now what," asks Franz.
"There is another option," I said.
. . .
Outside, I casted a spell on the palace and it started to sink so Shen Du can never free his dragons. "Only a royal can bring it back," I said, "now, let's go find Shen Du."
To Be Continued
In the next chapter, Shen Du searches for the Princess.
