In Monarch's lair...

Natalie couldn't stand by and watch this happen to this poor boy. Looking at him, she couldn't help but think of Adrien. Adrien was precious to her, and she would not let Gabriel keep doing this to him.

"Gabriel," Natalie said with her arms spread out, "You can't do this anymore. This boy is not something to mess around with!"

"Natalie, you don't understand!" Gabriel cried out.

"No unfortunately, I do understand. You've pulled Adrien into an obsession," Natalie said, pointing a finger at him and then at his wrist, "And now, you're badly hurt."

Gabriel rubbed his arm, feeling the burning sensation creep up his body.

"Adrien's going to find out eventually. You do realize that, right?"

Natalie waited for him to respond. Anything.

"Come on, Gabriel. He doesn't deserve this, and neither does thi... Izuku. You've got to let him go. Emilie would not want--"

Natalie felt a smack against her face and stumbled onto the floor.

Midoriya could only watch as she tried to get up. She was coughing up blood.

"Le-Leave her alone..." Midoriya growled at Gabriel.

"Oh, you care for her? You don't even know her," Gabriel said to him as he tried to help Natalie up.

She swiped his hand away and slowly got herself up, slightly wobbling.

Gabriel looked at the chains around Midoriya, and then back at his assistant.

"Natalie, you said you wanted me to let him go. I'll let him go," Gabriel told her, "Take off the chains on the wall."

Natalie ran over to detach the chains, but they were so heavy. Eventually, she got them all off even though Midoriya could still barely move.

"I'll take it from here, Natalie," Gabriel said as he reached for the chains.

Natalie didn't even let him touch Midoriya, let alone the chains. Gabriel let out a sigh.

"Fine. Follow me."

Gabriel led them to the elevator with Natalie holding Midoriya's heavy chains. He could barely even take a step. He felt like he could collapse at any moment. Gabriel pushed a button, causing Natalie to almost drop the chains.

"What're you doing?! Why are you taking him in there?!" Natalie cried, "You shouldn't be doing this!"

Whatever they were arguing about, Midoriya didn't like where this was going. He really needed to get out of here. If he could, he'd bring Natalie with him.

"I can, and I will," Gabriel said as the elevator finally revealed through the glass door a garden underground.

It was a huge room, full of beams holding it together. In the middle of the room was a long bridge to the other side. There was a single tree full of white butterflies that were in white cocoons.

"Wow..." Midoriya mumbled, letting it slip out.

"Yes, it's very big. There's a lot more to it than its size though," Gabriel told him with a glare.

Midoriya gulped as the elevator finally opened up. Gabriel made sure Natalie holding Midoriya's chains go first.

They went down the long, narrow bridge. Midoriya took in his surroundings, seeing if there was a way out. No windows and no way down the bridge. The only exit was the way they came in.

They soon made to the end of the bridge, Midoriya finally noticing something else by the tree.

It looked like a pod of some sort.

"Gabriel..." Natalie growled as he stood by it, "Why are we even here?"

"Izuku has to know why I'm doing this before I let him go. Why I'm after Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous," Gabriel told her.

Midoriya felt his heart racing, and he didn't understand why. The heavy chains suddenly felt much heavier than before.

Gabriel placed his finger in the middle of the pod.

It opened up to reveal a young woman. She looked like she was asleep. Or in a coma.

Midoriya felt something inside of him want to wake up the poor woman. But she wasn't waking up anytime soon.

"Ad-Adrien's mother..." Midoriya mumbled finally putting it together.

"Yes, Izuku. This is Adrien's mother," Gabriel told him, "I used to have the Peacock Miraculous. The superpower is Amokization. It allows the holder to manifest a Sentimonster, a living creature manifested from a person's emotions. This is achieved by turning a feather into an amok and sending it to inhabit an object belonging to the recipient. She use to be the holder. That is until we realized it was damaged."

"Damaged?" Midoriya thought.

"No one can use a Miraculous once its been damaged or it starts become a part of the holder. I tried to save her in time, but it was too late. She fell into a coma."

"This is why you need the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculous," Midoriya explained, "So you can make a wish to bring her back."

"Yes. That's it, Izuku," Gabriel responded.

"But... why couldn't you just tell them the truth, instead of just attacking them? I'm sure they would've helped if you'd just told them why you were doing all of this to begin with. Their heroes, they'd help. Especially..." Midoriya trailed off stopping himself from revealing Cat Noir's secret identity.

"Seriously? You'd think they'd help now? After everything I've done?" Gabriel told him, "I can't turn back now. Especially for Adrien."

"He's right, Gabriel," Natalie said, still holding Midoriya's chains.

"Natalie, you're siding with him?! After everything we've been through together. Trying to bring back Emilie."

"And now, all I want is Adrien to be happy. He can't do that if you keep doing this!" Natalie cried, "Look at your arm, you're hurt! Give this up, please. For your son."

Midoriya felt like he should run. Gabriel stood there, looking at his wife with a longing look. He missed her. A lot.

"I can't do it, Natalie," Gabriel told her, "She needs me."

Natalie looked sad. Really sad. She let go of the chains, and they fell off his wrists. She'd been picking at the locks the entire time.

"Go! Izuku, get out of here!" Natalie yelled.

"But--"

"Go find Adrien! Please!"

Midoriya nodded and ran for the elevator. He still couldn't activate One for All to run, so he ran as fast as he could. The elevator was right there. Gabriel tried to go after him, but Natalie got in the way. Midoriya was almost at the elevator door, when he saw Natalie get accidentally pushed off the bridge.

His green eyes widened and suddenly felt a surge of power come over him.

It was One for All.

"I've gotta save her!" Midoriya thought.

He shot Black Whip without thinking and launched himself towards Natalie. He quickly grabbed her in the air and swung back up onto the bridge.

Natalie was out of breath, and Midoriya felt winded and very lightheaded. Gabriel had transformed into HawkMoth and was heading straight for them.

"Izuku! Go, get out of here!" Natalie cried, "You have to go find Adrien."

"No, you do. Listen, there's something you should know," Midoriya told her as leaned into her ear, "Adrien is Cat Noir."

Natalie's blue eyes widened in shock and made sure not to yell it out loud.

"You need to go. I can hold on, you can't. Please, go! I'll be okay!" Midoriya cried.

Suddenly HawkMoth was right on top of them. Midoriya pushed Natalie away towards the elevator and tried to get away with her. HawkMoth grabbed Midoriya and pulled him down. He had the chains with him and put them around Midoriya's wrists. Once they were locked, HawkMoth spotted Natalie going up the elevator.

Leaving him all alone.

"Goodbye, Gabriel. I'm coming for you, Adrien."

In the Schoolyard...

Class 1-A were scattered around, training with Mr. Aizawa, Ladybug and Cat Noir. School was in session, so they started while everyone was in class so they wouldn't bother them. They were all wearing their U.A. training outfits. Ladybug was helping out with the girls. Cat Noir and Mr. Aizawa were helping out with the boys.

Uraraka, Jirou and Ashido were practicing their combat skills with her. Ashido was really impressing Ladybug with her break dancing moves and was able to use that to her advantage. Uraraka pinned down Ladybug rather swiftly. Jirou needed a bit of work, but she caught up with them fairly well.

Iida, Bakugo, Todoroki, Kirishima, Aoyama and Sato were practicing their quirks against Cat Noir and Mr. Aizawa. Iida really impressed Cat Noir with his speed and was able to trip him up multiple times. Kirishima showed off his combat training with Cat Noir by using his quirk against him and his baton. Aoyama tried to trip up Cat Noir with his Navel Laser. He almost got him, but Cat Noir just got more combat skills than him. Bakugo was showing Mr. Aizawa how far he's come with his quirk, and he saw that he needed much more work on the precision moves. Sato ate as much sugar as could to swing at Mr. Aizawa, but he needed to cut back on it because he was using too much energy at once. Todoroki practiced using his fire side more this time around as Mr. Aizawa gave him tips and pointers on how to utilize it more.

"Ugh, we haven't trained this hard since Summer Camp!" Ashido whined as she sat down a bench.

Uraraka and Jirou sat next to her as they drank from their water bottles. Uraraka felt a little nauseous, so she took something to help ease a little. Jirou's rubbed her earphone jacks to sooth them. Ashido felt achy everywhere from using her break dancing skills as combat training.

"Yeah, I don't know much about combat training," Jirou told them as she wiped away some sweat with a towel, "At least not like you two do."

"Thank you, but I still need some work on it," Uraraka told her with a slight blemish, "GunHead helped a lot though."

"Hey girls!" Ladybug said with a lot of enthusiasm, "You three did awesome! I was really impressed back there!"

"Thank you, Ladybug," Uraraka said, "That means a lot coming from you. It looks like the boys are done, too."

They all looked over at them. They looked like they were about ready to go another round with Cat Noir. He looked like he might collapse at any moment from the quirk training. Mr. Aizawa on the other hand, was fine and making sure Cat Noir was okay.

"Looks like Cat Noir is done for today," Ladybug teased letting out a giggle.

"Yeah, I feel bad that Mr. Aizawa decided on quirk training for the boys. Maybe we can switch things up for awhile?" Ashido asked Ladybug.

"Yeah. We could work on quirk training next after lunch. I'll let Mr. Aizawa know so they can work on combat training."

"Sounds good--"

The bell rang, ending the last class before lunch time. Students started filing out and heading straight for the cafeteria. Alya, Nino and a bunch of other friends came over to Ladybug and Cat Noir. Their classmates were so excited to finally be up close and personal with the heroes in training.

"Hey Ladybug, Cat Noir! We all watched the interview yesterday!" Rose exclaimed and then turned to the others, "You heroes are amazing!"

The girls all blushed while the guys loved the compliments.

"We're just so excited to be here for training. There's so much more space," Kirishima told her, "It gets me all fired up!"

And then he flexed his hard muscles, causing some girls to giggle and blush.

"Looks like someone's got some fans," Ashido teased, nudging him in the rock hard ribs.

"Of course! You're superpowers are so cool and different from the other heroes we've seen around here," Kim complimented, "Especially yours! It's so cool you can run really fast."

Iida looked stunned to have a fan so fast that he almost felt tears coming.

"Thank you so much! I'm so proud to have a fan here in Paris!" Iida cried as he bowed to her.

"Whoa, dude! Chill," Kim told him.

"I'm sure he's just really excited. He's our Class Rep. after all," Uraraka told them.

"That's so cool! Marinette is our Class Rep.!" Nathaniel told them, causing Ladybug to tense up.

"Really? I didn't know that," Jirou told them, trying not to look at Ladybug.

"Speaking of which, where is Marinette Dupain Cheng?"

A familiar voice caught Class 1-A's and everyone's else's attention. Instant glares were sent her way as Lila Rossi made her way towards the group. She had just gotten here for whatever reason.

Ladybug looked back at Uraraka, who had daggers in her eyes. Class 1-A was furious she even showed up in the first place, but Uraraka was the one who stood up to her during the interview. Even Alya's friends seemed to turn against her based on what they heard yesterday.

Cat Noir stood beside Ladybug, as she walked closer to the group.

"Lila, what're you doing here?" Ladybug asked her intensely.

"What do you mean, Ladybug? This is my school, too. What? I'm not allowed to go to school anymore as well," Lila told her, "Not everything belongs to you, you know."

"Lila, we know what you did," Alya told her with glare.

Lila glared back at Alya for a good while. Everyone just watched her as if she was about to pull off another stunt like last time.

Then she spotted her.

Midoriya's girlfriend. Ochaco Uraraka.

Before Lila could walk up to her, Uraraka did it for her and gripped onto her jacket. Lila actually didn't expect that.

"Why are you here?! I told you not to show up, but you did!" Uraraka cried in her face, "So, you're going to tell me what you did with Deku?!"

"Deku? You call him, Deku?" Lila said, trying so hard not to laugh, "Don't you know what that means? Some girlfriend."

Uraraka looked like she was about to send her into space.

"Yes, and it means something else to him than what you're thinking! But you wouldn't know that, would you?!"

"Of course I wouldn't. I know nothing about this, Izuku Midoriya," Lila told her with a sly smile, "I just want my Fox Miraculous back."

"Your Fox Miraculous?!" Alya cried, catching everyone's attention.

"That's why you're here?! Not because you helped capture Deku, but you want the Miraculous back?!" Uraraka cried, "Why would you help someone like Monarch anyway?!"

"Because Ladybug ruins everything. Cat Noir's no better, but she's a liar and betrayer," Lila told her.

Uraraka's teeth clenched very tightly, almost feeling her quirk activating on her.

"The only betrayer I see is you! You will pay for this, Lila! Besides, we already know who Monarch is--"

Mr. Aizawa stepped in, separating Uraraka from Lila. Uraraka tried to run after her, but he wrapped her in his scarves to stop her.

"Wow, you have quite the temper. Ochaco, was it? Your little boyfriend is being experimented on as we speak," Lila told everyone as she walked away, "HawkMoth thinks he has multiple quirks. Your training isn't going to do you any good if you know who he is. You better go save him while you still can..."

Lila walked away from them, heading for the cafeteria. So did Alya and the rest of her class.

Uraraka didn't think she'd be giving her any information any time soon. She had to have been doing it for a reason.

"Monarch thinks he has multiple quirks? What's up with that?" Cat Noir asked them.

Bakugo silently watched Uraraka without saying a word to her. He did understand, but didn't want to say anything just yet. It was his secret to keep as well.

"I didn't know you could have multiple quirks," Ladybug mumbled.

"Uraraka, you shouldn't have done that," Mr. Aizawa told her, "We don't want Lila to tell Monarch anything else."

"Sorry, Mr. Aizawa..." Uraraka mumbled, "I just--"

"Adrien!"

Everyone whipped their heads around to see Natalie, Adrien's assistant, by the front entrance. She looked like she ran all the way from his house. Her hair was falling out of her bun, and her glasses were missing.

"Who is she?" Ashido asked them.

Once she spotted Cat Noir, her blue eyes started to tear up. She ran over to him with a big hug.

"Nat-! I mean... uh, miss... What's--"

"You can stop pretending, Adrien," Natalie told him, "Izuku... He told me you're Cat Noir."

Cat Noir didn't do anything. Whatever happened back there, it wasn't good. He just stared at his father's assistant, feeling a sense of dread come over him.

"He needs your help."

Another amazing chapter!

I really enjoyed writing this chapter, it was fun getting some of the Miraculous characters together with Class 1-A. Something is coming up Natalie and Adrien. I wonder what's going to happen next.

More to come soon!
