After a quick assessment in the CEO's office safe house, the weapons lost in the Tank battle are Coach's Combat Shotgun and Katana, Ellis' Sniper Rifle, Rochelle's Combat Rifle, Magnum Pistol and Cricket Bat, and Nick's AK-47 and Frying Pan. Luckily, the room has some good weaponry.
So the survivors heal up and rearm.
Nick: We got some Laser Sights.
Coach: *grabs an M60 Machine Gun* Grabbing the... uhh. Hey Nick, what's this called again?
Nick: The M60 Machine Gun.
Coach: Grabbing the M60 Machine Gun. *grabs Laser Sights* *grabs a Chainsaw* Imma set some zombies straight with this.
Ellis: *grabs a Grenade Launcher* Hello, Grenade Launcher. I have missed you. *grabs Laser Sights* *gives Fireaxe to Nick* Here, man. I want you to have this.
Nick: Thanks, bro.
Ellis: We're cool. *grabs a Crowbar* Grabbing a Crowbar.
Rochelle: *grabs a Hard Rain Muddy and Red Magazine M16 Assault Rifle* Hey, an assault rifle from that gas station somehow manages to make it here. *grabs Laser Sights* *grabs P220 Pistols* Taking two pistols. *grabs a Baseball Bat* I'm gonna whack some zombies with this.
Nick: *grabs a Silenced Submachine Gun* Going with the Silenced Submachine Gun. *grabs Laser Sights* Huh, normally CEO offices are located at the top of their HQs.
Ellis: Whoever ran this place must've been an old man, or woman.
Rochelle: The Power Transformer explosions have definitely cut the power to this place.
Coach: So stick together and keep your flashlights on.
[safe house door opens]
[Chainsaw revs]
Now that it is night time and the power to the Headquarters went down with the Power Transformer, the way to the helipad is pitch black. So the group stays close and tries to use their Secondary Weapons and Melee Weapons to conserve ammo.
[Crowbar hit]
[P220 Pistols fire]
[Magnum Pistol fire]
Ellis: Man, it's so creepy in here. Where's the moon when you need it?
Rochelle: I remember it was real cloudy before we got here. That could explain why we're not getting any moonlight right now.
With the darkness challenging enough, things are about to get even more so because of a Carving Witch and the Nuclear Zombies surrounding her.
Nick: Damn, there's Nuclear Zombies everywhere.
[Silenced Submachine Gun fire]
[Witch Yells]
Coach: Oh, it's another one of those slicing Witches.
Ellis: Better watch where you point your light.
Since there is no way around her, Nick comes up with a plan to kill her without anyone having to go down.
Rochelle: Can't see a way around her.
Nick: Hey Ellis, grab your Grenade Launcher and hit the Witch directly. Coach, finish her off with your Chainsaw. Back up a bit. Once she stumbles, I'll cover you.
Ellis: Alright.
Coach: You better be right about this.
Nick: Just don't miss.
[Grenade Launcher fire]
[explosion]
Nick: Now!
[Chainsaw revs]
[Witch Death]
Coach: Ellis, we beat her ass good!
Ellis: Whoo-hoo!
Rochelle: Great work, now let's get going.
While everyone else is congratulating each other for the tough kill, Nick is slightly upset that no one thanked or congratulated him. But he gets his mind off of it quick because he and Rochelle get hit by a Sticky Spitter from behind.
[Sticky Spitter Voice]
Ellis: Hey, watch out! It's another Spitter dude!
[Sticky Spitter Spits]
Rochelle: Stuck! I'm stuck!
Nick: Ugh! What is this purple shit on me?!
[Grenade Launcher fire]
[explosion]
[Sticky Spitter Death]
[Jockey Voice]
Nick: Jockey's close!
[M60 Machine Gun fire]
[Jockey Death]
Coach: It's down.
Nick: We're free!
Thankfully, they catch another break once they reach the top floor and find the Headquarters' conference room. Which has been converted into a safe room.
Ellis: Hey, we got a safe house in that big conference room.
Coach: Finally, a safe house.
[safe house door closes]
Rochelle: Did we all make it? Oh, yes we did!
We're safe... for now.
