A few hours later, Mipha showed up to the Flight Range to heal Revali. She made her way up to where he lay exhausted, asleep on the ground under his blanket.

"He's been out for the past hour," Urbosa told her. "He has been here training ever since the incident. He's completely exhausted himself."

"Were you able to talk to him at all, or wouldn't he listen?" Mipha questioned.

"He was more willing to listen than usual, after I zapped him at least. Whether he actually took any of it to heart or not is a different story," Urbosa shrugged. "Only time will tell."

Revali cleared his throat. "He is awake, and listening to you both speak of me as if I were an obstinate adolescent who needs to be taught a lesson." His voice was tired and hoarse.

Urbosa turned her head to him. "Well if you don't want us to speak that way, then maybe you should stop acting like one."

Revali only growled weakly, knowing he had no energy to expend on fighting back.

Mipha kneeled next to Revali on the ground. "Revali… you know we're only concerned for you."

Revali couldn't tolerate this pity any longer. "Save your concern for someone who wants it!" He snapped.

Urbosa looked like she was about to slap some sense into Revali, but Mipha put her hand up, motioning for her to back off.

"Just heal me, then leave me alone!" Revali commanded.

Mipha sighed, pausing a second before answering. "I can't do only that."

Urbosa looked shocked at Mipha's bold words.

Revali's eyes narrowed in anger. "Well then, why did you waste your time coming out here?! To ridicule me?!" He slammed his fisted wing on the ground.

Mipha thought deeply before responding. She knew trying to talk some sense into Revali was likely to fail, so she considered her next words carefully. "You really are selfish, aren't you?"

Revali snorted, not expecting Mipha, the soft spoken Champion, to go so far. "How dare you! I've dedicated my entire life to serving the greater good of Hyrule, and you call me selfish?! I'm getting out of here," Revali began to sit up, but the pain in his ribs grew unbearable. He cried out, sending him back to the floor, holding his wings over his injury, his knees curling in towards his stomach. Pained tears found their way to the corners of his eyes.

Mipha's eyes brimmed with tears as well, seeing her friend in pain. "Revali, you're only hurting yourself further! I don't like to see you hurting like this, but I can't heal you until you understand how seriously worried we were for you. When I found you after you had crashed, I was afraid. I know how strong and competent of a warrior you are, and to find you injured so badly scared me. We need you. Stop being selfish and think about how your childish behavior makes us feel!" Mipha shouted, wiping a tear away.

"Your feelings aren't my responsibility!" Revali argued back, his breathing heavy.

"You're right, but we are supposed to be a team. When one of us is suffering, we all feel it. What you are responsible for is taking care of yourself, and asking for help if you can't care for yourself. Right now, you aren't being responsible, which is selfish of you. My purpose is to heal others and put them at ease. By leaving us yesterday, you were being selfish by stripping me of an opportunity to fulfill my purpose in life," Mipha countered. "Not to mention, you didn't only make things harder on us, but also on yourself as well."

Revali sighed, trying to steady his pained breathing. "You're right. Maybe I was being selfish."

Both Urbosa and Mipha seemed shocked that he admitted it.

"I hear what you're getting at. I suppose next time I get injured… which there won't be a next time… but if there was, I promise I won't refuse your help. But let's just keep it between the three of us, that even the great Revali accepts help from others occasionally, hmm?" Revali said.

Mipha smiled. "Your secret is safe with us. I'm glad to hear it. I will heal you now," Mipha got closer to Revali now that he was less hostile, and reached to take the blanket off of him.

Mipha's hands began to glow as she inspected Revali's weak form. His chest rose and fell with each pained breath he took. She hummed as she discovered what was troubling him. "Revali, several of your ribs are fractured. And there's a lot of bruising in here as well."

"You don't say," Revali grimaced.

"A Lynel kicked him across the forest and into a stone cliff. I wouldn't be surprised if he has more injuries on his back as well," Urbosa added.

"Yes, this bruising goes deep. I hope I can fully heal this kind of damage," Mipha worried as she began to heal him. "You shouldn't have been flying and training in this state," Mipha scolded. "I may be able to heal your injury, but you've expended an extreme amount of energy that only rest will bring back."

"Yes, we've been over this already," Revali rolled his eyes, then tensed in pain a second before sighing in relief as Mipha eased his pain with her healing.

"Revali," Urbosa spoke his name sternly. "We're all serious about this. You're going to have to take it easy for a few days to regain your strength."

"A few days?! Is this some sort of joke?" Revali's exasperated tone clearly communicated his frustration.

"You'll only prolong your period of rest with all your over the top reactions you've been expending energy on today," Urbosa put her hands on her hips.

"Ugh…" Revali groaned, knowing she was right. He spoke quieter. "You really think you can stop me from my training and responsibilities here in Rito Village?"

Urbosa smirked. "I can't. But maybe by order of Princess Zelda…"

"Tch, you really think the Princess would demand that I rest, would she?" Revali sneered.

"We had a meeting with her yesterday after you abandoned us. She already has ordered you to take some time off," Urbosa shrugged.

Revali let out a long sigh. "This is just… asinine."

Urbosa and Mipha looked at each other and smirked, glad to see he had finally calmed down and that he understood he would need to rest now. Revali wasn't always the easiest Champion to deal with, but they all agreed they would be lost without him.
