"Alright, class! Forty-five minutes to complete your test! And begin!" shouted Scootaloo.

Her class opened their booklets as they began doing their exam's written portion. Today was a rather special day for the students of CHS; a new shipment of rare cards was being dropped off for the kids. And because of the new rare cards being shipped, Principal Celestia and Vice-Principal Luna organized field tests for the students to try out any new cards they purchased. However, everyone was required to complete a written exam to test their knowledge of what they had learned in their dueling courses.

"So, Sunny? Are you excited for the new cards?" whispered Roll.

"Absolutely. I've been meaning to upgrade my deck for quite a while," responded the girl.

"Hey! No talking!" shouted Scootaloo as the two girls returned to focusing on their tests.

Soon, the time limit for the written exam had finished, and the students all bombarded the card shack to get their hands on some new cards. However, one person among the sea of students didn't seem to care as he hung back after his classmates rushed out the door, which didn't go unnoticed by a certain pop icon teen.

"Aren't you gonna head over?" asked Pipp, seeing Mario just sitting down.

"What do I care? I don't need any cards to improve my deck. I'm fine." scoffed Mario as he stood up and slung his backpack over his shoulder. "Can't say the same for anybody else?"

"Where are you going? The field tests are the other way," said Pipp as she and Mario exited their class but saw the boy heading in the opposite direction.

"You have fun doing whatever you want. I'm gonna catch a nap. I'll see you later for bowling." said Mario as he returned to his dorm.

"O-kay. Uh, bye," said Pipp as she waved at the boy before quickly taking off to get to the card shop before they ran out.

The card shack itself was bustling. It was packed to the max, with students wanting to get their hands on the best cards possible and keep them all for themselves. Packs were flying off the shelves as even the counter employees barely kept up with the high demand.

"Hey, check what I pulled out!" said Zipp as she showed off some new cards from a pack she bought to Zoom and Thunder.

"Okay. Which one? Hmm." said Izzy as she put a hand to her chin. The girl thinks long and hard about which pack she should open before deciding.

Eeny, meeny, miny, moe
Catch a tiger by the toe
If he hollers, let him go,
Eeny, meeny, miny, moe
My mother told me
To pick the very best one
And you are it.

"Yippee!" said Izzy as she grabbed the pack her finger pointed at and began to rip it open.

"Let's see... the section for spellcasters should be right... here," said Sunny as she turned down a section and came to the main rack of cards for her type of deck but was surprised to see that there was none.

"Uh, excuse me, ma'am?" said Sunny as she made her way to the counter.

"How can I help you?" asked the woman.

"Um, I was hoping if you had any packs left for some spellcasters?" asked Sunny.

"Unfortunately, only a few rare cards were shipped for that section. And anyone who could get their hands on them has already taken them. The only thing we have left is regular packs." said the woman as she presented a regular card pack to Sunny for spellcasters.

"Oh, okay," said Sunny with a sad expression as she took the regular pack and returned to where Roll was.

"So, did you get some?" asked Roll, seeing her friend approach their table.

"No. There was limited supply, and they sold out," expressed Sunny as she planted her face on the table.

"Oh, bummer," responded Roll.

"I was hoping to upgrade my deck," said Sunny as she lifted her head and looked at the regular pack with a sad expression.

"Why the long face, Sunny?" asked Hitch as he approached their table and sat beside his best friend.

"She missed out on getting some rare cards to up her deck," explained Roll.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Sunny. If you want, I got some spare cards I pulled from my packs?" offered Hitch.

"No, thanks, Hitch. They're yours, and I don't want to take them when you can use them. Thanks, though." said the girl to her friend. "Well, let's see what I got." Sunny began to rip the pack open as she took the cards out and looked through them. Unfortunately, the cards she got provided little support for her deck as she sighed.

"Hey, cheer up. I'm sure they'll get more soon," said Hitch as he patted Sunny's head to offer support, but she kept her sad puppy look with her head down on the table.

"It's not the end of the world, Sunny. Even having rare and good cards doesn't always secure your victory. Ultimately, it comes down to who has the better skill and strategy." Roll said as she looked at her deck and admired her cards.

"Wait a second. That's it!" said Sunny as she perked up and lifted her head. "Roll!"

"Yeah?" responded the girl at seeing her friend get up in her face.

"Your mom runs the best card company, right?" asked Sunny with a hopeful smile.

"Yeah," answered the girl hesitantly.

"Can you call her and ask if she can send me some rare cards?" said Sunny, smiling as she got all up in her friend's face.

"Um, well, you see, um... it... doesn't work that way," stated Roll as she rubbed her neck.

Sunny's hopeful expression changed back to her sad one as she face-planted the table again with a loud thud.

"Ow!" said the girl, her voice muffled by slamming her face on the table.

"All students who wish to test out their new cards, the field tests can now begin!" said Vice-Principal Luna over the P.A system.

"Come on, Sunny. Maybe a duel will cheer you up?" said Hitch as he tried to lift his best friend's spirits.

"I don't know," said the girl as her friends lifted her by her arms and began carrying her outside.

Outside, many field tests were being conducted. The students were anxious to try out their new cards as they were challenging anybody in their sights. Hitch and Roll still carried Sunny as they made their way outside; they spotted Pipp nearby as she was watching Rocky and Jazz go at it.

"Why are you carrying her?" asked the girl, seeing her friends.

"She's kinda down," said Roll as she and Hitch set Sunny down, which the girl just flopped on her behind.

"She missed out on getting some card," said Hitch.

"Aw, bummer," said Pipp as she felt sorry for her friend.

"I did it! I won!" shouted Jazz as the group turned to where their friends were dueling; the girl was celebrating her win by jumping up and down. "I can't believe I did it. Swallowtail Butterspy attack Rocky directly!" A swallowtail female humanoid butterfly wielding stinger lances flew toward the intended boy and stabbed him with her small stingers as she drained the last of his points.

"I scored a win using my new cards!" expressed the girl as she was ecstatic.

"Nice one, Jazzy," said Rocky, praising his friend.

Hearing how Jazz won using some new rare cards only made Sunny feel even more upset at how she couldn't get any. The others saw her expression and started feeling a bit bad for her.

"Come on, Sunny. Cheer up," said Hitch, trying to get the girl to smile, but it didn't seem to work.

"You don't need new cards to win. I'll prove it. Hey, uh, Jazz!" called out Roll as she and Rocky approached them. "Care for a quick one-on-one with me?"

"Sure thing," said the girl, accepting her friend's request.

The two girls took their positions as the rest of their friends watched on. Roll hoped this duel might cheer Sunny about not getting any new cards and showcase the other side of dueling.

"Ready when you are!" said Jazz.

"Ready!" confirmed Roll.

"Opponent detected. Streaming data. Duel mode set. Initiating. Commencing duel." said their duel disks.

Jazz's Life Points: 8000-
Roll's Life Points: 8000-

Turn 1: Jazz (Hand 5)

"I draw! First, I activate the spell card Dance of the Butterspy! This card grants me the power to summon Morpho Butterspy and Swallowtail Butterspy from my hand!" stated Jazz as her two monsters appeared. "Now I overlay Morpho Butterspy and Swallowtail Butterspy to build the overlay network!" The two monsters turned into orbs of light that hovered as a portal opened in front of Jazz. They were soon sucked in as a pillar of light emerged. "I Xyz Summon Photon Papilloperative(2100/1800, OLU: 2)!"

"An Xyz monster already?" said Hitch, surprised to see Jazz already going hard from the beginning.

"And there's a lot more where that came from..." stated the girl as she held three spells between her fingers before playing all of them as they appeared before her. "First, due to my Butterfly Charm, all your monsters that can attack have to. If they don't, they're destroyed. Then my second spell is Elimigate. When a monster other than Photon Papilloperative tries to pass through this gate to attack, that monster is instantly destroyed."

"So, there's nothing Roll can do?" questioned Pipp.

"I'm not done! I've still got one more spell left to play- Butterfly Swarm!" said Jazz as the final spell she played activated. "I have to pay 2000 Life Points to activate it... but once it's activated when a monster on the field is destroyed, the player controlling the monster gets slammed for 1500 points of damage."
Jazz's Life Points: 6000-

"So if Roll doesn't summon a monster, she's taking serious damage. But if she does summon a monster on her turn, that monster gets destroyed, and she still takes damage!" expressed Hitch, amazed by the combo that Jazz trapped her in.

"She did the same thing with me in our duel," said Rocky as Jazz's three-card combo threw him off his game.

"So, there's no way out?" asked Pipp.

"Of course there is," said Roll as she heard what her friends said.

Turn 2: Roll (Hand 5)

"I draw!" said Roll.

If I summon a monster in attack mode, her combo activates. So...

"I summon a monster facedown in defense mode!" shouted Roll as her card appeared sideways in front of her with its back cover showing. "And I'll place one card facedown and end my turn!" (Hand 4)

"Smart on Roll's part. Jazz's combo won't activate if she plays a monster in defense mode," said Rocky.

"Yeah, but she can't just keep playing defense. Sooner or later, she's gonna have to attack, or else Jazz will do it for her," stated Hitch as Roll was lucky to dodge Jazz's combo this turn, but it wouldn't hold up.

Turn 3: Jazz (Hand 0)

"Okay. That was clever. But I have news for you, Roll. It's going to take more than that to beat me. I draw!" said the girl as she drew. "First, I pay 2000 Life Points to keep Butterfly Swarm on my field!"
Jazz's Life Points: 4000-

"Next, I activate Papilloperative's special ability!" stated Jazz as one of the circling orbs was absorbed by her monster through her forehead as she opened her eyes and spread her butterfly wings. "By using one overlay unit, one monster is forced to switch into attack mode! Then that monster loses 600 attack points!" Papilloperative had magical dust emit from her flapping her wings as it caused the monster on Roll's field to flip face up(600 → 0).

"Now my Skull Kraken(600/1600) is in attack mode with zero attack points," mumbled Roll as her monster was exposed.

"Photon Papilloperative, attack Roll's monster with Vivid Swarm!" shouted Jazz. Her monster powered its body up before releasing several colorful copies of itself that spread out. They all changed into tiny butterflies that swarmed Roll's monster and attached to it to make it explode, causing the girl to cover up from the massive damage she was receiving.
Roll's Life Points: 5900-

"And now, Butterfly Swarm descends on you for 1500 points of damage!" smiled Jazz. Her card made a tornado of butterflies as it headed toward Roll, who was taken off her feet and crashed to the ground.
Roll's Life Points: 4400-

"Wow, Jazz! That's impressive!" said Pipp, amazed that she managed to knock Roll down to almost her total Life Points in just one turn.

"I place a monster facedown in defense mode. Your move!" said the girl.

Turn 4: Roll (Hand 4)

"Alright, I draw!" said Roll as she returned to her feet. "I summon Drill Barnacle(300/0)!"

"Since you summoned a monster in attack mode, the Butterfly Charm spell activates!" said Jazz as her card glowed. Tiny white glowing butterflies fluttered and attached to Roll's monster as it glowed. "Due to the power of this card, Drill Barnacle is forced to attack. Next, Elimgate's effect activates!" stated the girl as her second spell went off. "Your monster is automatically destroyed! And now, because of Butterfly Swarm, you take another 1500 points of damage!" The third spell card of Jazz's deadly combo triggered as another butterfly tornado hit Roll for another dose of damage as she managed to avoid being taken off her feet.
Roll's Life Points: 2900-

"Wow! Jazz really does have Roll on the ropes!" stated Hitch, amazed to see how the girl was dealing with someone of Roll's caliber.

"She might actually," said Rocky.

"Alright, calm down. Don't jump to conclusion!" shouted Roll to her friends for thinking she already lost. "I'm not done. Watch! Because I activate the spell card, Updraft! This allows me to use Water-type monsters in my graveyard to Xyz Summon!"

"Huh? You can Xyz Summon using monsters in your graveyard?" said Pipp, as she and everybody else were surprised by Roll's move.

"Thanks for helping me to put them in there, Jazz! I overlay Drill Barnacle and Skull Kraken!" said the girl with a smile as two orbs appeared from a portal and hovered before a different portal opened up. The orbs then entered as a pillar of light emerged. "Now I summon a monster that's both feared on the land and in the water! I Xyz Summon Submersible Carrier Aero Shark(1900/1000, OLU: 2) in defense mode!" A pair of sharks attached to a flying device appeared as they growled.

"I now activate Aero Shark's ability! By using one overlay unit, I can deal 400 points of damage for every card in my hand. And I'm holding two!" stated Roll. "Lock and load! Torpedo Takedown!" A capsule was loaded before it was fired; the capsule broke apart as several missiles were launched and crashed around Jazz, who covered up.
Jazz's Life Points: 3200-

"I end my turn there!"

Turn 5: Jazz (Hand 0)

"I draw!" said Jazz as her Butterfly Swarm activated and fired a butterfly tornado at her as the girl held on.
Jazz's Life Points: 1200-

"This ends now! I activate Photon Papilloperative's special ability! Using its last overlay unit, it forces your monster into attack mode and loses 600 attack points! Mystify Menace!" shouted Jazz as she forced Roll's monster to switch modes(1900 → 1300).

"And now, Photon Papilloperative, attack Submersible Carrier Aero Shark! Go Vivid Swarm!"

"If this connects, Roll loses!" said Hitch.

Sunny looked up to see Jazz's monster preparing to deliver the final blow.

"I reveal my facedown, Poseidon Wave! With this, I can negate your attack! And there's more. You take 800 points of damage for every face-up Fish, Sea Serpent, or Aqua monster I control!" Roll stated as a giant wave rose behind her. It formed a wall in front of the girl to protect her from the tiny butterflies before washing them away and turning into a single spout aimed at Jazz, who covered up.
Jazz's Life Points: 400-

"Nice block on Roll's part," said Pipp.

"Not bad. But I'm not done. I summon Moonlit Papillon(1200/1600)! And for my next move, I'm flipping over my facedown card, Blue Mountain Butterspy(0/1700)! And now I overlay Blue Mountain Butterspy and Moonlit Papillon to build the overlay network!" stated Jazz as her two monsters turned into orbs of light and hovered. A portal opened up in front of her as the orbs were sucked in, and a pillar of light emerged. "I Xyz Summon, Photon Alexandra Queen(2400/1200) in defense mode!"

"I end my turn!" said the girl.

Turn 6: Roll (Hand 2)

"It's my move! I play the spell card, Surface! So now I bring back my Drill Barnacle from my graveyard. And then I'm also summoning my Shark Stickers(200/1000) in defense mode! Okay, now I overlay both Drill Barnacle and Shark Stickers. With these two monsters, I build the overlay network!" shouted Roll as her two creatures turned into orbs of light and hovered in the air. A portal opened up as the orbs were sucked in, and a pillar of light emerged. "Say hello to Number 17: Leviathan Dragon(2000/0, OLU: 2)!" shouted Roll. A blue water dragon emerged as it spread its wings out and roared.

"She has another number card?" said Sunny as she finally spoke.

"Remember what happens when you summon a monster in attack mode!" said Jazz.

"Yeah, I know. That's why I'm activating this... Mystical Space Typhoon. So I destroy your Butterfly Swarm!" said Roll as a giant wind blew over and took out Jazz's card. "And with that, I'm activating Leviathan Dragon's special ability. By using one overlay unit, my monster gains 500 extra attack points(2000 → 2500)!"

"Oh, no," said Jazz as she realized what that meant.

"Leviathan Dragon, attack her Photon Papilloperative with Shock Stream Blast!" commanded Roll. Her dragon opened her mouth as it began to charge up; it then let loose a fierce attack as it made contact with Jazz's monster before transferring to the girl.
Jazz's Life Points: 0-
Winner: Roll

"Nice game, Jazz. You had me there," said Roll, praising how well she did.

"Thanks," said the girl as she stood up.

"So, did that change your mind, Sunny?" asked Hitch.

"Yeah," said the girl as she smiled. The girl was thinking about what Roll said: even with Jazz's new cards, Roll could outthink her opponent and execute her strategy to secure the win.

It was now later as Roll and Mario stood outside the bowling alley. The pair entered the building as they were hoping to find their friends. Upon entering the bowling alley, the sounds of knocking down pins echoed. The machines began to set up the pins for the next round as the ball returned to the rack.

"Hey, over here!" shouted Zipp.

The pair saw the girl as she was with the others, including Rocky and Jazz, as Pipp invited the pair to join them. The two siblings made their way to where their friends were as one of the employees worked on getting them all setup.

"Nice, you two made it. Now, come on! Put your bowling shoes on, and let's play!" said Zipp as she left the pair.

Mario and Roll approached the counter as the employee handed them some bowling shoes and laced them up. At that moment, the employee had finished setting up three different lanes that Pipp rented out as they were all set up.

"Alright, everyone! Let's get this party started!" said the social media girl as she gave a finger gesture to the employee at the counter. The man nodded as he bent down behind the counter to flip a switch as the bowling alley speakers began playing music.

"Alright, here's how it's going down!" said Zipp as she was most excited to get the games going. "Three teams, three lanes, three games. Each game, we switch up. The winner is the one with the most total points of all three games!"

"Then, let's start!" said Mario as he grabbed the bowling ball from Zipp just as the music started kicking up.

The boy approached the lane and took a deep breath to get his head in the game. He then rolled it with some power behind his throw as it raced down the lane and knocked down all the pins with one strike.

"Oh, yeah! Boom!" shouted Mario, excited at rolling a strike.

The others cheered as it was on. The music playing described the atmosphere between the teens as the games began.

(Music - /qu1VMPZunAM)

I'm good, yeah, I'm feelin' alright
Baby, I'm have the best freakin' night of my life
And wherever it takes me, I'm down for the ride
Baby, don't you know I'm good? Yeah, I'm feelin' alright

"Come on, Hitch!" shouted Zipp as she and Mario hung back.

The boy held a bowling ball as he got his mind straight. He then rolled his ball as it headed toward the pins. Four pins were knocked down, and the others watching from their respective lanes clapped politely. Hitch rolled again, and the last six pins were knocked down. The others cheered, and Hitch proudly shook his hand in the air.

"Yeah. That's how it's done. The sheriff still got it." he boasted.

"Alright, twinkle toes, move aside!" said Zipp as she got up, and Hitch ceased his little dance. "Watch!" The girl felt her competitive side coming out as she grabbed a ball and rolled it down the lane; it made contact with the pins as the girl bowled a strike.

"Aw, yeah! Give me that turkey!" exclaimed Zipp, happy about her bowl.

Mario didn't wait for Zipp to do some form of a victory dance as he grabbed a ball just as the pins were reset. He then quickly rolled his ball as he, too, got a strike. He turned to look at Zipp as he winked at her. Before anything could happen between the two, Pipp stood up and was shown rolling her ball in the lane next to the three soccer players. She rolled the ball toward a few pins on the left side, making Mario chuckle. Then, just as the ball was halfway down the lane, it curved and knocked down all the pins. The girl got a loud cheer from the others, and Pipp turned to a stunned Hitch and Mario with a smug look.

"A strike is better than a spare. Right?" she asked.

Zipp snickered, and Hitch lowly chuckled. Mario stood stunned for several seconds before giving Pipp a competitive glare.

"Beginner's luck," he claimed.

"Oh, really? You think just because I'm a girl who writes and performs music and hangs out on social media, I can't be good at bowling?" Pipp asked as she winked at her crush.

"Alright, chica. You got my attention," said Mario as he turned to see Pipp walking back to Rocky and Jazz for their group's game.

'Cause I'm good, yeah, I'm feelin' alright
Baby, I'm have the best freakin' night of my life
And wherever it takes me, I'm down for the ride
Baby, don't you know I'm good? Yeah, I'm feelin' alright

Don't you know I'm good? Yeah, I'm feelin' alright

For the next hour or so, the games were fierce. The teens all laughed and had fun as they each showed off their bowling skills. For the first game, it was Mario, Hitch, and Zipp in one lane, playing their game, while Roll, Sunny, and Izzy had the second lane, leaving Pipp with Rocky and Jazz in the third lane. After everyone finished their first game, the teams switched. For the second game, it was Mario, Hitch, and Rocky on one team, Sunny, Pipp, and Jazz on the second team, and Zipp, Roll, and Izzy on the third team.

You know I'm down for whatever tonight
I don't need the finer things in life
No matter where I go, it's a good time, yeah
And I, I don't need to sit in VIP
Middle of the floor, that's where I'll be
Don't got a lot, but that's enough for me, yeah

'Cause I'm good, yeah, I'm feelin' alright
Baby, I'm have the best freakin' night of my life
And wherever it takes me, I'm down for the ride
Baby, don't you know I'm good? Yeah, I'm feelin' alright

"Come on, Rocky!" shouted Hitch, the boys trying to show off in front of the girls to prove their superiority.

Rocky steadied himself as he zoned his mind. He then threw his ball as it was dangerously close to the edge. The girls looked on with smiles as they thought it would go into the gutter, but it swerved a bit and knocked over the pins. One by one, they fell as the farthest pin stood tall, and it didn't seem Rocky's throw was enough to transmit the energy from the other pins. However, it was soon knocked down as Rocky, as did the other boys, exploded with cheer. The girls all rolled their eyes as they continued with their games.

I'm good, good
I'm good
Don't you know I'm good? Yeah, I'm feelin' alright

So I just let it go, let it go
Oh-na-na-na-na-na
No, I don't care no more, care no more
Oh-na-na-na-na-na
So come on, let me know, let me know
Put your hands up, na-na-na
No, baby, nothing's gonna stop us tonight

It was time for the final round of games as the teams were mixed up again. Mario was with Zipp and Pipp this time, as the two sisters looked forward to ganging up on the boy.

"If you think you're gonna humiliate me, you're mistaken," Mario said.

"Is that so? Wanna make a wager?" Pipp asked. "Loser has to do what the winner wants."

The girl had been livestreaming their fun night as tons of emojis and "oooos" went across the screen. The livestream gained multiple views and likes from the people watching this excitement. Mario raised his eyebrow and smirked as he took a step toward Pipp.

"That's a risky thing to bet on, chica. I'm just getting warmed up, and you have no idea what I could come up with if you lose," the boy said.

"Keep talking. I like my opponents shooting their mouths off before I humiliate them," Pipp said. "I'd be more concerned about what I might think of. I've got a head start with a strike."

"Spares can technically be worth more points in the long run," Mario said. "You can't get strikes forever."

"And you can't get spares forever," Pipp countered. "Now, are you going to talk a big game our entire outing, or are we going to play?"

"Yeah, come on, lover boy. Quit stalling and prove you're not all talk," Zipp said as she was behind Mario.

The boy found himself trapped, with Pipp smirking in front of him and Zipp smirking behind him. The two sisters closed in on the boy as they awaited to see if Mario was afraid of losing to either of them. Mario looked between Pipp and Zipp and scoffed. He picked up his ball and rolled it, knocking down all the pins; the boy held his hand to a surprised Pipp.

"Don't say I didn't warn you," Mario said.

Pipp remained baffled momentarily before her shock turned into a competitive smirk. She shook Mario's hand, then took her ball. She rolled the ball and turned to Mario, not bothering to watch her ball land another strike.

"Bring it on, tough guy," she said.

'Cause I'm good, yeah, I'm feelin' alright
Baby, I'm have the best freakin' night of my life
And wherever it takes me, I'm down for the ride
Baby, don't you know I'm good? Yeah, I'm feelin' alright

For the next several rounds, Mario, Pipp, and Zipp were getting strikes and spares and boasting to the other each time one of them took the lead. The others cheered for every strike or spare, growing anxious over who would win their game. Some began betting on who would win the whole thing. Mario was doing his best to keep up against the tag team of the sisters as he knew if one of them won, they both would win and take turns humiliating him with whatever they had planned should he lose this bet.

On the 9th round, Pipp took down four pins on the left on her first roll. She rolled again and smiled to see it move toward the front pin. Unfortunately, the ball curved left at the last second and only hit one pin. Zipp was up next as she rolled and took out sevens pins on her first one but soon picked up the spare with her second. Seeing his chance, Mario used the last round to get a strike on his final roll. Pipp and Zipp made spares and took down several pins on their final go; at the halfway point, Pipp was down by 10 points from Mario's score, while Zipp was down by 4.

"So, girls, are you scared yet?" Mario asked mockingly.

"Yeah, yeah, build your ego up, handsome. Winning the game will make it even more humiliating when we decide what we're gonna do with you," Pipp said.

"That's the spirit, sis. Put him in his place," stated Zipp.

The second half began as Mario made a strike on his first roll with a cocky grin, expecting to discourage the girls, but Pipp and Zipp rolled a strike right afterward, showing that they were not backing down. The game continued with the trio going back and forth with who took the lead. In the 17th round, Mario rolled his ball, expecting it to hit the pins right at the center, but all but the two pins at the very far sides were knocked down.

Mario tried to knock out at least one of the remaining pins, but his ball missed the right pin by a foot. In the 19th round, he knocked down six pins and missed the remaining four on the second roll. In the final round, Mario's first roll led to his ball falling into the gutter, making him nervous. Ultimately, Pipp and Zipp used the boy's mistakes to beat him, with the former gaining 16 points while the latter had 17 points. Pipp's viewers cheered, and the girl took a selfie with the score in the background.

With the girls gaining those points, it actually allowed them to tie with Mario's score. So now, the trio was going into one final tiebreaker game to see who would win.

"A one-way tie. Now, things are getting interesting," Sunny said. The others watched as they wanted to see how this threeway would play out.

Mario turned to take his ball, only to find Pipp blocking his path.

"How about I go first this time just to shake things up?" she asked.

"Suits me fine," the boy said.

Pipp smirked before she took her ball and rolled, hitting a strike. Mario huffed, annoyed with Pipp already starting strong. He reached for his ball, only for Pipp to step in front of him again, making him uneasy with their faces only inches apart.

"Want a kiss for good luck?" Pipp asked.

Mario blushed and looked away, while Zipp enjoyed seeing Pipp easily make the boy blush. Mario shook off his blush and put on a brave face before facing Pipp.

"You're the one who got lucky. Even with that strike, you'll need a kiss for luck more than I do," Mario said.

Pipp giggled and said, "Place your bets."

She wrapped her arm around Mario's head and pulled him toward her for a firm kiss. The boy's eyes widened, and his face turned red, ignoring the livestreaming emojis. When Pipp let go, Mario was in a daze for a moment before he shook his head and slapped his cheeks. He took his ball and rolled, knocking out seven pins, then finishing with a spare. Pipp pouted, hoping her kiss would take him off his game. Simultaneously, she was glad Mario kept the game interesting and expected the last game to be big.

But, the strike at the beginning was the only one Pipp made. In fact, Mario, Pipp, and Zipp each only hit a few spares throughout the final game. Their exhaustion from all the games they played started taking its toll on the teens. The viewers began dying as they realized the competitors were beginning to tire. The teens would knock down a handful of pins on the first roll, and in the second roll, the ball either missed the remaining pins or ended up in the gutter. Pipp had a head start with her strike, but Mario and Zipp were slowly catching up throughout the game.

Finally, in the last round, Pipp knocked down four pins, and her ball ended up in the gutter in the last roll. Mario looked up at the TV, and his face lit up as he saw that the score was 105 to 107 to 100, putting Zipp in the lead by only 7 points. Mario knocked down six pins on his first roll, raising the score so he was only off by 1. The viewers rooting for him cheered as the other four pins were close to each other. All Mario needed to do was roll the ball in their general direction, and victory was assured.

Pipp's ears hung low, and Zipp bit her lip. The boy had messy hair, and sweat showed on his forehead; he had long taken off his unzipped hoodie, and his t-shirt was also a bit drenched. With a smug grin, Mario rolled the ball toward the last four pins, but halfway down the lane, the ball curved away from the pins. Mario's eyes widened, and he repeatedly mouthed, "No," while Pipp's and Zipp's face brightened. The boy's ball missed the pins by a couple of centimeters.

"No!" Mario cried out.

The sisters' deafening cheers drowned his cry of defeat. Zipp laughed hysterically while pointing at Mario, and Pipp chuckled with her mouth closed. The boy fell to his knees and slammed his hands on the ground before lifting his head to look up at the sky as if wondering why he didn't win. Pipp cheered while raising her arms and bowed to the live stream like a prima donna who had just completed a performance while her viewers chanted, "Pipp Pipp, hooray!" in the comments. Pipp then turned to Mario, who hung his head in defeat. The boy still sat on his knees, placing his hands on his head.

"Why? Why? Why?" repeated Mario, still trying to get over the fact that he lost.

Pipp soon came to his side as she tapped his shoulder to get his attention.

"Good match, Mario. It was pretty close," Pipp said, holding her hand to the boy.

The teen sighed before he shook Pipp's hand.

"Yeah. Congrats," Mario said a bit bitterly. "So, how do you wish me to uphold our agreement?"

"Yeah, sis, what will we make him do?" Zipp asked with a smug grin.

People watching the stream began putting out their suggestions as they appeared on the screen. Mario's face hung low as he grew worried Pipp or Zipp would make him do something humiliating. Pipp, however, scratched her chin, pretending to think about it before looking at her audience with a pout.

"Sorry, everybody, but I honestly have no idea what to make Mario do," she said as the viewers "aw" ed in disappointment." But I'll think of something eventually. And when I do, I'm gonna livestream it so you all know what I ultimately won," Pipp said to her viewers. "See you soon, Pipsqueaks." The girl gave a kiss as she turned off the feed.

Zipp approached Mario as she extended a hand to him. The boy merely looked up at her as he accepted her help and allowed her to pull him up. The smug smile of winning the bet remained before she removed it and patted Mario's shoulder. The boy looked at Zipp, who returned to their bench before tossing him a towel.

"Good game, lover boy," said Zipp, giving props to Mario for giving her a close game and making her work for the win.

"Alright! I have the scores!" said Sunny. "In first place, it's Zipp who scored a total of 313 points!"

"Aw, yeah!" shouted the girl. "Number one, guys!" Zipp relished knowing she beat everybody else with the highest score.

"In second place, it's a tie. Pipp and Mario scored 310 points."

"Wait, seriously?!" asked Mario as he grabbed Sunny's scorecard. To his surprise, she told the truth. With how competitive the social media girl was against him, she managed to rack up quite a number to boost her overall total from the other two games.

"I told you. Don't underestimate me," said Pipp as she winked at her crush, who looked at her while Sunny swiped her scorecard back.

"And in third place, we have Hitch!"

"Wait, what?" said the boy, who was confused. Sunny showed her best friend the rest of the leaderboard as Hitch was ranked above Roll's score by one point.

"Wow! How about that!" said Hitch.

"You really had some impressive moves out there," said Sunny sheepishly as she moved some of her hair away from her face while looking at her best friend.

"Thanks," responded Hitch with a similar shyness while looking at the girl.

The two childhood friends tried avoiding eye contact, but that didn't prove easy. They soon forgot about the awkward moment between them as Pipp appeared in front of Hitch with her phone out, ready to take a selfie to post for her timeline.

"Alright, everyone! Get ready!" said the girl as they all got in for a photo.

The group smiled, even Mario, as Pipp snapped the camera to capture the moment. The teens then began to head out as it was getting dark, and soon, their curfew would be in effect. After a long day of written exams and field testing with new cards for students, the activity of bowling was a great way to end a fun-filled day.

Author's Note: A fun filled day with some dueling and good old fashion bowling. We now see Jazz dueling and almost winning against Roll. And surprise, surprise, it seems Pipp has her own competitive side to her and is talented in bowling. Now the question is: What will Zipp and Pipp make Mario do for losing their bet? That remains to be seen. Also, this will be the final chapter before Chapter 6 comes out on Thursday and oh boy am I excited for it.
