Subaru: "We're finally here!"

Subaru pointed at the mansion in the distance. After 3 hours of travelling, the Emilia camp and the new addition, the amnesiac Shaula had finally entered the Mather's domain. Shaula felt nervous about meeting the other members of the Emilia camp, but thanks to Subaru's reassurance and spending the journey talking with him, she was feeling less nervous.

Subaru: "You OK?"

Shaula was snapped out of her thoughts by a hand on her shoulder.

Shaula: "I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous."

Subaru smiled

Subaru: "Don't worry about it Shaula. You'll be fine."

Shaula tried to relax herself. Subaru was right. From Subaru's explanations, the Emilia Camp sounded really nice. So she decided to give them a chance.

The door behind them was opened as they were talking

Meili: "Hey Onii-san! Shaula-san! Are we there ye~t?"

The blue-haired assassin was peeking through the window, looking at the two talking.

Shaula: "Oh, hey Meili. Wait how are you reaching the window? Isn't it too tall for you to reach."

Meili smiled and giggled

Meili: "Oh let's just say I found a way. Sometimes my genius scares me~."

Beatrice: "OH SHUT UP I SUPPOSE!!!"

Spica: "UWAAAAWAAAWAAAH!!!"

Beatrice and Spica sounded extremely annoyed. Inside, Rem sighed at the 3 girls shenanigans. Meili was peering through the window. The way she reached on it was simple. She was sitting on Spica's shoulders, and Spica was sitting on Beatrice's shoulders. The vicious loli and new maid of the Roswaal manor was uncomfortable in her position. But the great spirit however, was absolutely furious.

Beatrice: "I CANNOT BELIEVE I LET YOU TALK ME INTO THIS, IN FACT!!"

Meili: "Don't worry about them Onii-san. Drill hair-chan and Teeth-chan are super helpfu~l!"

Spica growled at being called "Teeth-chan"

Subaru laughed

Subaru: "Well, we're nearly there Meili. You won't need to wait much longer before we arrive."

Meili: "Finally~. It feels like we've been travelling for age~s.

Subaru and Shaula sighed. They had been travelling for a long time so obviously they were happy to be back.

The drove through the gate and stopped the carriage and we're welcomed by all the other members of the Emilia camp.

Otto: "Good to see you again Natsuki-san. It's been pretty quiet without you here."

Subaru: "Great to see you Otto."

Garfiel: "Yeah Cap'n! 's been really borin' here without ya!"

Subaru pulled on the reigns and the carriage stopped with a rather sudden jolt.

Meili: "Whoa! Onii-san! That was a rough stop! Be careful"

The loli tower swayed inside at the carriage's sudden stop.

Beatrice: "I'M LOSING BALANCE! I CAN'T HOLD IT ANYMORE I SUPPOSE!!!"

Spica: "Aaah! WAAAAAHHH!!!!"

With that, the 3 girls fell to the floor with a thud as Beatrice lost her balance and strength.

The other Emilia camp members were surprised by the sudden stop.

Frederica: "Oh my. Whatever happened to Beatrice-sama sounded really painful."

Subaru opened the window and peered inside to see the 3 lolis sitting on the floor m, rubbing their heads.

Subaru: "Uh...sorry. I kinda haven't used a dragon carriage for a while. So sorry if the stop was a little rough. Is everyone ok?"

Meili: "Owie! That really hurts "

Spica: "Uwaaaahh!"

Beatrice: "I am never doing anything for you ever again I suppose!"

Beatrice directed her annoyance at Meili with a pout.

The door to the carriage opened and Rem climbed out.

Rem: "Come now Subaru. We should greet everyone"

Subaru got down from the driver's seat to greet everyone. Once he and Rem got down, Subaru was immediately hugged by the orange-haired young maid and Rem by the pink-haired tsundere.

Petra: "Subaru-sama! I missed you!"

Subaru smiled, returning her hug and patting her on her head. He then broke the hug.

Subaru: "It's ok. I missed you too. I hope you've been nice to Otto and Frederica."

???: "Ahem"

Subaru and Petra turned around to see Beatrice, down from the carriage and pouting at the attention Petra was getting from her contractor. Meili and Spica were behind her

Beatrice: "Aren't you forgetting someone? Why are you talking with the maid I suppose?"

Subaru picked Beatrice up and spun her around.

Subaru: "Don't worry Beako! I could never forget about you!"

Ram meanwhile broke her hug with Rem.

Ram: "It stood to have you back Rem."

Rem: "Of course nee-sama."

Both smiled at each other. But Ram's face changed and she then spoke loud enough for Subaru to hear.

Ram: "Barusu didn't do anything depraved did he? Ask you to give him a back rub or anything"

Rem blushed. Subaru instantly retorted

Subaru: "I told you in my letter than nothing happened Ram! I'm not a deviant!"

Ram: "Hmph! You were away with Ram's sister for a whole month Barusu. I'm just making sure Rem enjoyed herself and wasn't forced to do anything to satisfy your carnal desires."

Subaru: "Look I brought her back sage and sound! Nothing happened right Rem?"

Rem: "Nee-sama, nothing like that happened. Subaru was a gentleman throughout the entire trip. He didn't do anything of the sort."

??: "Is Subaru finally ba-?"

The mansion entrance was opened to reveal the silver-haired half-elf standing there.

Once she saw Subaru she smiled and went up to him.

Emilia: "Subaru! You're back! It's sooooo good to see you again!"

Emilia hugged him when she saw him. Subaru returned her hug in response.

Subaru: "It's good to see you too Emilia-tan."

???: "Indeed. It has been ever so dull without you here Subaaaaaaru-kun"

From behind the Emilia, came the Joker-sorry, Roswaal, wearing a smile on his face.

Shaula: "Wow. This camp is very...uh...sorry I can't find the right word to describe them."

Shaula had jumped down off the other side of the driver's seat and come around in front of Frufoo and Patrasche to greet the other Emilia camp members.

Shaula saw all of their faces and felt nervous. But she tried to greet them politely.

Shaula: "Hello. My name is Shaula. It's nice to meet you."

The rest of the Emilia camp who didn't go to Crusch's manor were shocked.

Otto, Frederica, Petra, Garfiel and Roswaal were shocked as they were in the presence of a historical figure who was involved in the Witch of Envy's defeat.

Emilia and Ram were slack-jawed at Shaula's behaviour. When they first met her, she was extremely clingy towards Subaru and for some reason, she couldn't keep her hands off him. And she'd normally act coldly towards anyone who wasn't Subaru.

But here?

She wasn't clinging to Subaru and making him feel uncomfortable. Nor was she behaving rudely to any of them. It was like they were looking at a completely different person.

Emilia wanted to say something, but she remembered Subaru saying in his letter that he didn't want to put any pressure on Shaula remembering herself or force her into any uncomfortable situation.

Shaula: "Oh, you must be Emilia-sama. Subaru's told me a lot about you."

Emilia was snapped out of her thoughts at Shaula talking to her. Did she just call her "-sama"?! Shaula would never say anything like that!

Clearing her throat, Emilia composed herself.

Emilia: "Has he? Well, it's nice to meet you Shaula."

Emilia extended her hand out to Shaula. Shaula remembered Subaru telling her about a 'handshake'. Shaula took Emilia's hand and shook it.

Shaula: "Thank you for offering me a place in your camp. I was a little nervous about meeting you all honestly."

Ram had stayed silent throughout Shaula's interaction with Emilia. But she had decided to speak up.

Ram: "Excuse me Shaula-san."

Shaula turned to Ram who was looking at her with a stern look.

Shaula: "Oh. You're that pink-haired tsundere Subaru told me about...uh...Rim was it?"

Ram blushed a little in embarrassment.

looked at Barusu with suspicious eyes.

Otto and Garfiel snorted slightly. Ram glared at both of them, and they immediately shut up.

She then turned her red eyes over to Subaru. Pink-haired tsundere? What the hell had Barusu told Shaula about her? She decided to deal with him later.

Ram: "It's Ram actually. And I suppose it's only natural that you'd forget. Barusu descriptions of people are very lacklustre."

Subaru: "Oh come on! I didn't say you were a murderous psychopath! Give me some credit here nee-sama!"

Ram snorted and continued talking to Shaula.

Ram then noticed how Shaula was dressed. A dark blue dress with a very short hem and a deep opening in the neck, revealing her cleavage.

Ram: "What are you wearing?"

The other campers finally snapped out of being in Shaula's presence and noticed how she was dressed.

Frederica: "Now that you mention it, that dress is rather..."

Shaula: "Revealing?"

Frederica: "Uh, yes."

Emilia could clearly see her attire was particularly revealing and surprisingly saw a blush on Shaula's face. Was she uncomfortable dressed like that? Because the old Shaula wouldn't have cared about showing her body like that

But what surprised her the most was that when she looked over to Subaru, she saw his cheeks ever so slightly redden at Shaula's appearance. Emilia couldn't understand what she was feeling, but she didn't like it one bit. But she decided to just brush it off and let it go.

Ram: "So tell me Barusu, did you pick that dress for Shaula-san to have some eye candy to stare at?"

Subaru: "N-no, I didn't pick that dress! Tell her Shaula!"

Ram turned from Subaru to Shaula

Shaula: "No, Subaru had nothing to do with what I'm wearing."

Ram: "So were you trying to tempt Barusu with your body?"

Subaru and Shaula's faces went bright red at that thought.

Subaru: "No way! That's not it at all."

Shaula: "No I was not trying to tempt him! Crusch-sama gave me some of her old clothes and this was the only on that fit okay?"

Ram sighed at the two

Ram: "Whether or not you're both a pair of perverts, Shaula-san cannot parade around in such attire. It would damage the reputation of our camp."

Subaru and Shaula were irked at being called 'perverts' with veins on their foreheads.

Ram: "Come now. We'll take your measurements and have some clothes fitted for you."

Ram turned around expecting Shaula to follow, but she saw her laughing to herself, covering her mouth as Subaru was whispering something in her ear.

Ram narrowed her eyes at the two.

Ram: "What are you laughing about?"

Shaula: "Oh it's nothing. Subaru said that you're teasing so much because you want to make up for lost time. An entire without teasing him must have been pretty lonely huh?"

Ram looked away

Ram: "I don't know what you're talking about"

Garfiel: "Ah c'mon Ram! Admit it, ya missed Cap'n didn't ya."

Otto: "Don't be so rough around the edges Ram-san. Try and-"

Ram cut him off. She was staring at both the merchant and the tiger which made both of them terrified.

Ram: "Continue talking and see what happens."

Ram then looked at Shaula and then composed herself.

Ram: "Come now Shaula-san. We'll get you some proper clothes."

With that, everyone went inside
